Super cozy, beautiful decoration and delicious food

A Caesar salad isn't just lettuce and chicken. It should also have an egg and croutons. And if the menu says it contains anchovies, they shouldn't just be in the sauce. Which, according to the waitress, they were. Which, by the way, wasn't the case.

Cozy restaurant, but... steak was served on a deep plate that was very difficult to cut into. There were few sauces to choose from. Salad with blue cheese shavings, which not everyone likes. We received fries that were very small, very hard, and impossible to pierce with a fork... just plain old junk. We eventually raised this issue, and the waitress said we should have mentioned it, but something like that simply shouldn't be served. Irish coffee was served in a beer glass without nice, thick whipped cream. The 12-euro banana ice cream was inedible. Too bad.

The atmosphere and service are fine. We had a new server who made small mistakes but that is understandable. What is not understandable is the food. We had a biefstuk and the meat was so incredibly tough and tasteless that we honestly thought that your average fastfood restaurant will give you higher quality meat. It would still not be the worst thing, if they don't charge you like a fine dining restaurant. Quality and price is here so bad that I suggest you to look elsewhere.

The tomato soup bowl was too small, and I initially received a dessert spoon. The steak main course was good, but the salad was far too small for two people. One small bowl. The fries that came with it were absolutely terrible. Too greasy, lots of small pieces, and tasted of old grease. I asked for new ones, but they weren't much better. I also had two beers and one dessert. Over €100 and still hungry. Too bad.

We've been enjoying Rita's for a while now, always enjoying the lunches, the atmosphere, and the delicious food. That's precisely why it's been so striking in recent weeks how different (and, frankly, disappointing) it has become. Where their "12 o'clock snack" used to be a real treat (a generous sandwich with fresh salad), you now get a lettuce leaf with two tomato slices and half a ham and cheese sandwich. They call it a "healthy sandwich." When we pointed out that this was quite different from before, we were told, "We have a new menu and a new chef, so this is what you'll have to make do with." It's not what it used to be for the kids either: the toasted sandwiches now come on a small bun, the fancy ketchup has been replaced by a plastic McDonald's container, and the fresh salad has disappeared. In short: they've cut back significantly, not on the price, but on the food. A shame, because this was truly one of our favorite places. Hopefully they listen to their regular guests, because it would be a shame if this fantastic place lost its charm.

A unique location, delicious, well-prepared dishes. Chicken, fish, beef, salads, pizza, and vegetarian options. Generous portions in a homey atmosphere, served by a team of top-notch hosts. Highly recommended.

A wonderful restaurant in the Scheleberg National Park. Something for everyone on the menu, and the service is very friendly! A beautiful terrace, and even in the rain, it's wonderfully covered for dining. The setting is absolutely stunning, surrounded by a plant and flower oasis!

My partner had a delicious pasta. I had a schnitzel that seemed fried, with hard edges and otherwise not tender. They also served delicious fries and raw vegetables. I mentioned this to the staff!

We had a delicious lunch and dinner! The staff is very friendly and professional. The atmosphere is great! If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

We enjoyed a drink on the terrace and then ordered the drinks box and charcuterie (a typo on the menu) from the takeaway menu to take back to the cottage. It turned out it would take 30-45 minutes to prepare. I asked if I could be notified, and that was no problem. After just half an hour, we were able to pick it up, and it turned out to be a feast for the eyes. It was delicious, and we had enough left over for a second round the next day.

We had lunch here and it was delicious. We ordered a hamburger without egg (due to an allergy) and without tomato salsa, both of which were on the burger, so we pointed this out. We received a new one with egg on it again. Mistakes happen, but they were all resolved promptly, so we still get a good rating.

Had a great meal tonight. Excellent service, nothing was too much trouble: we could just take what was left (a shame to throw it away), the mushroom sauce could be served separately at our request, photos were taken. The food was really delicious and original. Mother-in-law who had difficulty walking because of her walker was helped over the threshold. The price-quality ratio is also good. I definitely recommend this!

Wat een verrassing, deze parel midden in het groen! Rita’s @The Park is een plek waar sfeer, smaak en gastvrijheid perfect samenkomen. Vanaf het moment dat je binnenstapt, voel je de warme, ongedwongen ambiance. Het interieur is stijlvol en toch gezellig, met uitzicht op het park dat elke maaltijd een extra dimensie geeft. Het eten? Absoluut top. Elk gerecht was met zorg bereid en prachtig gepresenteerd. De smaken zijn verfijnd en verrassend, met een mooie balans tussen klassiek en creatief. De bediening is vriendelijk, alert en weet echt hoe ze je in de watten moeten leggen. Of je nu komt voor een lunch, een uitgebreid diner of gewoon een goed glas wijn met wat bites: bij Rita’s zit je altijd goed. Een plek om voor om te rijden én keer op keer terug te komen.

Great food, they have a menu, but no drinks menu! You don't know that a 0.5 beer from Texel is 9.95! Wine prices also a surprise. It's a shame, this way you avoid many misunderstandings

Made a reservation via social deal, but man, you had to wait half an hour before you could order something to drink and then wait another half hour before you got anything. From the deal, if you had allergies you immediately pay 5 euros for another cup of soup (isn't that included in the deal?) Hospitality was also seriously lacking from the waitress, which is a shame because the rest was quite okay. The boy behind the cash register was very friendly and polite!

Very bad experience with this restaurant. We indicated that we had booked a walking arrangement, after which we were told that we could find a spot. It then took half an hour before our drinks were taken. A pastry was included in the arrangement, but we had to ask for it ourselves. That also took a while. There were some walking routes available (an A4 with little text and explanation), but we also had to go after these ourselves. After the walk we were supposed to get a 12-hour snack, but we never got this. We waited for more than half an hour again, without service and left after several "we'll be there in a minute". Incidentally, this was not even communicated to us, but to the rest of the customers who had been waiting for a long time. Very unfortunate. Definitely not recommended.

Reserved a table for 2. We were able to choose a table in the shade ourselves. That's why I made a reservation, so we could sit in the sun. Waited 43 minutes before they came to take drinks. Ordered the Lobster Roll. Very tasty, but so small, 3 bites and it was gone. There was no garnish on the plate.

Although we had not made a reservation, there was a table available. The restaurant is nicely decorated, neat and warm. We were given plenty of time to order. No pressure at all. The food was served in a special way. Our meat was beautifully prepared and tasted excellent. The friendly service completed our successful evening.

We drank coffee, ate cake, had lunch and dinner here several times. Highly recommended! The food is served very nicely and is super tasty. Lots of vegetables and fries (no extra costs). The chateau briand and the steak tartare are fantastic! And the corn chicken (see photo) and the steak with fries for kids were also very tasty. The dog was given a bowl of water every time. We enjoyed it very much: many thanks!

Afgelopen zondag een tafel gereserveerd in het restaurant met gasten. Bij aankomst bleek dat de juiste reservering niet was doorgegeven. Dan het diner. De prijskwaliteit verhouding is zeer matig. De schnitzel was goed maar de ingrediënten waren zeer matig of moesten worden bijbetaald. Zelfs de saus was niet bij de prijs inbegrepen. Het dessert was zeer karig voor een veel te hoge prijs. In het restaurant waren honden aanwezig die regelmatig blaften en verspreidden een onaangename geur. Al met al een zeer teleurstellende ervaring op een mooi park waar wij nu al 6 jaar “wonen” . Ton

Poor quality. Especially for the price charged for the dishes. Pasta carbonara... overcooked tagliatelle with salty sauce. The pork belly was 4 thin slices of cold cuts and the poached egg a pre-cooked cold egg. Of the four desserts there was only a "tiramisu". The pink LED lighting colored the food a kind of greenish. Very distasteful. The service was not very experienced and glasses were removed and even the table was wiped down for coffee. They want to have an exclusive appearance and charge prices for that, but they really don't deliver on that. Salad that you have to order with salad means little. Too expensive for the poor quality.

Disappointing. The dishes were served colorless and sparse. Frites had to be ordered separately for 5 euros per bowl. The price-quality ratio is embarrassing. We stuck to a starter and main course. We didn't want to spend more money on it. Such a shame that we had dinner here to end beautiful days in this beautiful park.

Our visit to Rita’s Restaurant was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and the service throughout the evening was outstanding. The food was an absolute delight – every dish was thoughtfully prepared and tasted incredible. The ingredients were fresh, the presentation was beautiful, and the menu offered something for everyone. The ambiance was just as impressive: stylish, cozy, and designed with great attention to detail. It was the perfect combination of fine dining and a welcoming atmosphere. We highly recommend Rita’s and can’t wait to come back for another unforgettable experience!

Ate on 5/10 we had sniesel and sole ville de ville was a tiny piece for 32.50 is really not possible. The cut cannot actually damage anything. In addition, two teremusu that was e really bad, a coup with long fingers that didn't make any sense. Way too expensive for what was served. We don't go there anymore

Optijd gereserveerd maar een personeelslid heeft dit niet doorgezet. Daar sta je dan een dag later op de afgesproken tijd. U staat niet op de lijst. Door de nalatigheid van 1 personeelslid. Misschien werkdruk🤔 Er is nog wel gekeken naar oplossing Maar dat werd een hoop verplaatsen. Ik bedankte voor het aanbod.

We were at the park with 8 people and wanted to order pizza so we picked up here. We had to wait quite a long time for it to be ready, but that's possible because it was busy. When we got home we opened the pizza boxes and I immediately called to ask if a mistake had been made and we had accidentally received children's pizzas instead of normal ones. There were pizzas for €17 each and they were very sad in a large box. I understand that you pay a little more for food at such a park, but this is really a scam. At least show character and include the format so that people can drop out in advance. The taste was good, but also the last time. This restaurant has no regular customers, that doesn't exist.

Ate here this afternoon. The food was just good and the layout was also very neat. Good beers on tap and also half litres. Something that you sometimes miss with some things. Prices are reasonable to high, but that isn't true these days. We have been coming here for almost 5 years now and the food/drink has improved considerably since Topparken took over. We will be back soon.

Ridiculously high prices and schnitzel was rock dry!

Ate here 3 weeks ago with the whole family and it was certainly not recommended. My schnitzel had a very special taste and seemed raw. When I pointed this out to the uninterested waiter, he said he would report this to the kitchen. I have no idea if that ever happened since someone else came to pick up the plates. For that money you expect a little more service.

We ate twice during our stay. It was always very tasty and the service was also great! Our 12-year-old daughter was in the mood for pasta bolognaise. They only had that on the menu in a children's portion, but they wanted to make a large portion of it for her. Definitely recommended.

We wanted to have our lunch on the sunny terrace. However, the staff paid more attention to food photo shoot than us. The twelve o'clock meal was boringly presented and had no special taste. And the egg benedict wasn't special either. The waitress couldn't tell us what a brioche was and forgot to give us cutlery. The tea box that was presented contained three bags... all in all a fiasco. Price-quality is not in proportion here: far too expensive. For us, this place is no longer worth a stop.

Ate here with a group of 6 people. The staff was just changing the guard when we arrived, so it took a while before we got the menus and our first round of drinks. When we asked for this, I think we got on bad terms with the waitress, who was not exactly cordial for the rest of the evening. The food was very average; too high prices for mediocre meals. The pasta bolognese portion of the normal menu was smaller than that of the children's menu. Fish & chips consisted of fries with a few pieces of fish, because they were so thin it was actually just crust in my case, the other portion had slightly thicker pieces of 'fish'. The schnitzel was also nothing special. All in all, not a tour de force, certainly not for the prices they charge.

Relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. We were with 2 children and our dog. This was responded to nicely. The food came quite quickly. Don't have to wait long for drinks. Friendly and attentive service. The dishes were of excellent quality. Beautiful techniques and well executed. Beautifully cooked meat and fish dishes. Sauces very tasty. Temperature also fine. Presentation is good. The beautifully presented vegetable garnishes with the main course were well cooked, but could have been seasoned a little bolder. Nice restaurant to eat. The restaurant that belongs to top parks, a great place to sit. With a large playground for the children behind the restaurant. Had a drink here upon arrival at the park and had dinner here the next day. Food is good, drinks are even better, the service is absolutely great!

Not recommended. Food nothing special and far too expensive. Little taste and portions too small. Food is also far from fresh. Meat comes out of the freezer and you can taste it immediately. Quality-price ratio is not in order here.

We have been coming here for years, you have recently become the new restaurant. We planned to eat here several times since it was so good in previous years. It was now also good, very tasty, but the quantity is shocking. I had sea bass fillet, this was such a small piece of fish, you cannot call this a main course and charge more than 25.00E for it, again it was delicious, but you cannot make this. So add a bowl of fries for 5.00E. Try again the next day and then for lunch, hoping for a normal portion. I ordered a Burrata salad for 16.00E, unfortunately very disappointing again, a small ball of burrata and 5 leaves of romaine lettuce and some tomatoes, the taste was again SUPER, but you can't make this. I'm really not a complainer and I'm not a big eater either, but this was once again embarrassing and for that price. I often eat out, but these are portions for gnomes. I hope you do something with this, the location and the staff were great!

Het park restaurant van Topparken De Scheleberg. Het is erg mooi opgezet naast de receptie van het park. Je kan zowel buiten, half buiten en binnen zitten. Her gedeelte dat "half open" is, oogt een beetje als een loungebar/strandtent. Op zich wel leuk. Echter staat de lounge muziek vrij hard als achtergrond muziek. Ook zat 75% van het terras te roken. Dit heb ik al jaren niet meer meegemaakt. De dinerkaart is vrij simpel qua gerechten, maar dat is zeker geen minpunt. Het smaakt ook best allemaal. Het is gewoon niet gezellig. Geen sfeer! Het wil meer "klasse" uitstralen in de opzet, alleen dat is het niet. De jonge dames van de bediening zijn echter erg aardig en vriendelijk.

Vriendelijke bediening, vooral in de middag als je een drankje wilt doen soms onderbezet waardoor je langer moet wachten en mensen soms klagen dat ze lang moeten wachten voordat er iemand bij hen aan tafel komt. Het diner is vrij duur. Een pasta ( geen royale portie voor grote eters) 23 euro. Mijn partner had sparerib ook 23 euro. Daar zat verder niets bij (geen groente / patat) voor een klein portie patat betaal je al 5 euro! Dat kan echt niet als de snackbar van het park naast het restaurant dit nog niet eens vraagt voor een dubbele portie. Dus al gauw 30 euro kwijt met patat erbij. Het eten zelf is van goede kwaliteit en was ook lekker. Voor 1 dagje eten als je in het park zit prima, maar meerdere dagen per week dineren zoeken wij wel een ander restaurantje op.

Voorgerecht was prima heel goed zelfs. Hoofdgerechten wat minder. Een burger hoort echt niet rauw te zijn van binnen of vraag het anders hoe je die wilt. Van de spareribs alleen zal je niet vol raken. De prijs is wel aan de hoge kant. De bediening was alleen echt niet goed. Meerdere keren om drinken moeten vragen en hoofdgerecht kwam terwijl het voorgerecht nog niet was afgeruimd. Als je dan bedenkt dat het echt niet even goedkoop wat eten is is dat jammer.

Lunch en diner zijn erg goed, wit brood lijkt licht bruin te zijn, maar bruin is echt een heel stuk donkerder. Sommigen prijzen zijn aan de hoge kant.

Wij zijn hier afgelopen week geweest. 3x hebben we gegeten in het restaurant. De sfeer is enorm relext, de bediening zeer vriendelijk, en het eten is absoluut perfect ! De dames Roosmarijn, en Suus bedankt voor jullie gezelligheid. Als laatste kan ik ook de Irish-coffee zeer aanbevelen, deze maakt Suus helemaal top !!

Mensen, laat u niet misleiden door het lage cijfer. Het restaurant heeft sinds twee maanden een ander eigenaar. Heb er net gegeten en het klopte allemaal. Vriendelijke en vlotte bediening, relaxte sfeer en lekker eten. En alles is vrij nieuw dus de wc's en aankleding is ook top! En ook een kinderhoek voor de kleintjes.

Gezellige sfeer 3 x geweest voor Diner. Leuk ontvangen door Suus en Roosmarijn. Prima service heerlijk eten mooie kaart. Groot compliment. Echt een aanrader.

Heerlijk gegeten, kreeft de dag erna mosselen!! Het was lang geleden dat ik zo lekker had gegeten. Bediening is top!! Als ik een horeca zaak had zou ik hun in dienst nemen. Op en top genieten.

10 Aug: We hebben hier donderdag heerlijk gegeten! Restaurant is vernieuwd en kan me niet vinden in de negatieve reviews hieronder. Reserveren was gemakkelijk, kok was iets vergeten maar werd goed opgelost en met een vleugje humor. 👌 Bediening was tijdens lunch en diner professioneel en snel, en zien er verzorgd uit! En sorry moet het toch even gezegd hebben: We hadden een hele knappe en lieve serveerster met donkere krullen, wat een mooie verschijning! 😇 De gehele uitstraling, de sfeer, het eten, het is ons alles goed bevallen en kan het daarom iedereen aanbevelen.

Er zou ook take away zijn, maar dat ging allemaal niet zo vriendelijk, belde om 17.15 moest binnen kwartier opgehaald worden en anders pas na 20 uur.ik

1e en 2e Kerstdag hier gegeten . Wij hadden iemand met diverse allergieën in ons gezelschap. Beide dagen heeft de kok speciale gerechten gemaakt. Dit is wel heel erg bijzonder dat er zoveel moeite wordt gedaan om het iemand naar de zin te maken, zeker tijdens deze drukte. De rest van het gezelschap vond het ‘normale’ eten voortreffelijk Nogmaals onze dank!

Dat was een keer maar nooit meer. Bijna 1,5 uur zitten wachten onder het mom van personeelstekort maar ondertussen de hele tijd afhalers met tassen eten zien weglopen. Nadat ook nog eens verkeerde gerechten werden neergezet nog in discussie geraakt met serveerster die stond te beweren dat wij dit weldegelijk besteld hadden terwijl het voor een andere tafel was. Eten was ook nog eens van een zeer bedroevend niveau. Niet eens meer dessert genomen. Mijn tip: zoek even verder als u wilt eten.

Heerlijk gegeten op mooi terras. Ruim aanbod op de kaart, en fijne bediening.

Not enough staff therefore 2 hours waiting time to have dinner. Everything has a ton of sugar. Bad food.

We hebben een keer eten afgehaald wat zeer lekker was, behalve de spare ribs. Geen idee wat ik heb gekregen. Later in de week nog een keer daar gegeten. Het eten duurde heel lang voordat het kwam en dan ook nog eens niet tegelijk. mijn dochter kreeg een poke bowl waarin toch bonen zaten waar we van hadden gevraagd of ze die eruit konden laten en zeewier wat ze echt heel vies vind. Wij vinden het eten wel lekker. Overall is het toch jammer van de hele ervaring om uit eten te gaan.

Als wij in het huisje op het park zijn, halen we eigenlijk altijd wel een avondje 'sushi van Ming'. Een aanrader, prachtige verse sushi, smaakt fantastisch!

Eten was goed! Er was een lockdown dus konden alleen afhalen maar restaurant zag er netjes uit. Enige aandachtspunt is de corona maatregelen. Er was een lockdown en niemand van het personeel droeg een mondkapje, ook niet de mensen in de keuken die het eten bereiden

Nog nooit zo heerlijk gegeten. Alles vers en knapperig, super bediening

Eten is goed. De bediening vond ik niet bijpassend (ongeschoren, oude versleten spijkerbroek, oud zwart t-shirt). Glazen drinken werden niet op een blad gebracht, maar gewoon uit de hand.

Lekker gegeten, niet goedkoop maar hele goede sushi. Biefrolletje had wat meer smaak mogen hebben. Vooral de krokante kip in Hong Kong saus was erg lekker.
