We had a delicious meal, especially the Korean cauliflower, the Jerk chicken, gyoza, and the steak tartare (and for dessert, the lemon curd). It didn't take long for each course to arrive, but it wasn't too fast either; it was just right! Everything was clearly explained and the service was very attentive; they came over every now and then for a friendly chat and are always up for a joke. Additionally, the white and red sangria are highly recommended!! We sat inside (due to the weather), but when the weather is nice, they also have a lovely terrace outside. They have room for large groups, but it is also a very nice place for couples and families. They even have games and high chairs available for small children. The menu is huge and there is something tasty for everyone 🎉. They also have many dishes of the month, which is nice for variety. We will definitely be back here more often!!!

I don't write reviews often, but I am more than happy to make an exception for Rodaen. What an incredibly nice and reliable company this is. In a time when good service is unfortunately becoming increasingly rare, they show how it *should* be done. From the first contact to taking our coats, everything went flawlessly. They really listen to what you want and are very helpful in thinking along with you. No surprises afterwards, just clear communication and fair prices. The service is professional, friendly, efficient, and even humorous! 😄 They have a fun and friendly time together, which also creates a lovely atmosphere. The dishes are top-notch every round. A lot of time is spent on the presentation and the flavors. You can taste that (and it is visible in the photos 😊). There are no time slots, so you can order at your leisure all evening. For us, as light eaters, the 'Tapas & Bites' concept is truly perfect, because you can sample a little bit of everything without it becoming too much. Definitely recommended!

The cauliflower Korean style was a real surprise: super tasty and highly recommended! The service also deserves a compliment. The combination of delicious food, good service, and a cozy atmosphere made it a successful evening. We will certainly be back again.

During a warm evening, we thoroughly enjoyed truly flavorful dishes in the air conditioning (!). Surprising combinations, beautifully presented, and prepared with great care. Be sure to order the steak tartare, tenderloin, and lemon curd. The service was pleasant and attentive, with a nice rhythm between the different courses. A final drink on the beautiful terrace made the holiday feeling complete.

Also many vegetarian and vegan options for those who wish to choose that. Two years ago: A 5 with points for improvement The dishes are all of very good quality. From Oriental hot spiced pineapple slices to fish lasagna, soup, spareribs, shrimp and chorizo ​​croquettes, and much more. We weren't the only ones who thought so. Others thought so too. Around us were many people in their sixties who, by the looks of it, were clearly satisfied after a few courses, yet kept ordering. We stopped in time for two very tasty desserts each, including cheesecake. The seating is comfortable and spacious on a nice terrace. Inside, it looks a bit more basic. Great Social Deal for €30. Points for improvement Everyone arrives between 18:00 and 18:30, and that is a bit difficult for the hardworking staff. Baguette with spread appeared on half the tables. Not at ours. The first drink order was forgotten. The order slips sometimes remained standing for a very long time. Not at ours; we are always alert. Great food and cozy atmosphere.

Friendly and welcoming host, great food, and a very clean restaurant. We really enjoyed our experience overall. The only downside is the location right next to the railway tracks. The frequent train noise can make it a little difficult to have a conversation and fully enjoy the atmosphere. Apart from that, everything was excellent!

Last night we dined at Rodaen with the unlimited tapas menu, and what a wonderful evening it was. One delicious bite after another came by, with enough variety to find something tasty for everyone. The whole table thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended for anyone who loves a cozy meal together with many different flavors!

Nice place to eat with friendly service

Had a delicious meal with a group of 7. Super friendly service with a big smile. Sat on the terrace for the first time. Lots of trains, but not bothersome for us.

Delicious shared dining with a fairly extensive menu, but not so many options that it becomes overwhelming. The Chorizo ​​Croquettes, Jerk Chicken, and Veggie Sushi are highly recommended. Prompt service on top of that, and great food. The only downside is the building; you sit right next to a main road and the railway tracks, and the large mirror on the wall isn't exactly conducive to the atmosphere, but it doesn't detract from the meal itself.

The restaurant was advertised as a tapas restaurant… very, very small portions for a lot of money. One portion of pineapples… one small plate with three lost peppers… a tiny bowl of patatas and a very small piece of chicken for a whopping €13.50… We won't be going there again… we were very disappointed and don't recommend Rodaen.

There were four of us, and we spent quite a bit of money on the food. However, you didn't feel full after the meal, and the food itself was often not very tasty. As a result, one of us got food poisoning here, and the rest didn't feel very well either. The food is certainly beautifully presented, but the quality is not good. On top of that, even when it's quiet, the service takes a very long time, meaning you actually have to fill out the order form quickly while you're eating so that it arrives after fifteen minutes instead of half an hour at a time. The female waitress with black hair, however, was very friendly and provided very good service. I think the boss and one of the waiters were trashing the terrace behind us, because planks were being ripped up every five minutes. This spoiled the atmosphere a bit due to all the noise. And it shouldn't be allowed at all at 38 degrees.

The food really wasn't okay; the carpaccio and dame blanche were, but the fish and the quiche were truly rancid. It was 37 degrees and the owner, along with a waiter, even trashed the terrace in that sweltering heat. That poor guy was soaking wet with sweat. The service was very attentive. This really wasn't cheap; for 4 people it was 214 euros. And in the end, one of us got food poisoning. Couldn't keep anything down all night.

The food is mediocre, you have to wait a very long time for the food, but they are quick when ordering drinks! 2 people serving, the kitchen is also very slow. We booked via Social Deals, really felt like second choice, not recommended! We had the tapas.

According to the guidelines and the Consumers' Association, a restaurant is not allowed to refuse a glass of tap water if you order a paid drink. I have also never experienced being refused water with a coffee. But here it happened! You have to pay for it. Poor service.

If that is full, you are lucky if there is a parking spot nearby. Perhaps an arrangement with the neighbors across the street is possible. With some goodwill, more can be made of this business.

The quality and effort put into the preparation were definitely there, and the presentation was lovely. The desserts were fantastic 😋 delicious. We bought a tapas lunch on a social deal. It's a nice restaurant, the service is friendly, and the tapas lunch was delicious. Definitely recommended.

Food good, very noisy, friendly staff

The food was fine, but the service really left a lot to be desired. The soup was served lukewarm to even cold, which is not a good start. Additionally, we had to wait about 30 minutes before our dish was brought. In the meantime, drinks were continuously offered, but the food took a long time to arrive. When we mentioned this, we were interrupted and told that this was supposedly “normal.” Not exactly customer-friendly. This is now the second time the service has been this bad. Unfortunately, no more Rodaen for us!

We thought we were going to have a nice meal at Rodean. It was such a huge disappointment, never again. Upon entering, an older man kept us standing for quite some time because he was on the phone. When he came back after a while to ask what we wanted, we indicated that we had made a reservation via Spontaneous/Social Deal. His response was very blunt: "I don't know that company, you have been scammed." We politely asked if he would check it in his system (we showed him our reservation), yet he kept responding rudely. He made absolutely no concessions. It is unbelievable how someone can come across as so rude. We contacted Spontaneous/Social Deal immediately. They indicated that the restaurant was affiliated with them. Their service was very good, though; they refunded the money immediately. But Rodaen, NEVER AGAIN. We tried

We have been coming to Rodaen for years. It has always been great. Only the last time, on Saturday evening, it was a bit disappointing. The dishes seemed put together a bit hastily and not all orders were correct. Also, it took an incredibly long time this time for anything to arrive at the table. Of course, that can happen, but we are used to better from Rodaen. It is a shame, though, that the Rodaen schnitzel has been changed to a simpler version. The previous one was better!

The tapas portions are generally very small, so you have to order a lot to eat a little. The time between bites is quite long. The dishes are quite simple in design.

We arrived with a group of five, and the tapas were very small. It took an hour and a half to get our first round. We asked several times if it could be faster, but in the end, we only got a few rounds, which weren't complete either. A waste of money.

A lovely restaurant, both inside and out. Upon arrival, we were shown to our table, and that's when it all began. The waiter asked, "What would you like to drink?" Our first round of drinks arrived after about 25 minutes. It wasn't long, but the food was truly delicious. We ordered again, and again, we waited at least 30 minutes. We had three rounds of hot food and two Dame Blanches in the last round, and by then I was done, as this took over 30 minutes. If you want another drink, you have to turn your glass over or ask them to, as they hardly pay attention. Final conclusion: the food was delicious, and everything was served at the same time, allowing us to eat together. However, due to the poor service we experienced, I wouldn't return.

We had lunch on Sunday afternoon. When we arrived, it was still quiet. We wanted a quiet table due to hearing problems and were able to sit wherever we liked. Even two of us at a table for four, as those were the quietest. The service was very friendly and attentive, even in the (remote) corner of the restaurant we had chosen. It got incredibly busy on Sunday afternoon, but our waitress worked incredibly hard and kept everything under control, remaining just as friendly and attentive. The river & ocean salad was delicious, as was the ham and cheese omelet. The latte macchiato (without syrup but with an extra chocolate) was also excellent. I asked for a large bottle of water, and then they offered the option of a carafe with water and mint, among other things. Cheaper and tastier, in my opinion. Truly excellent hospitality. We'll be back soon 😀.

We went to dinner with a large group. The wait between courses was around 45 minutes. The waiter constantly hovered over us while he was slamming the few dishes onto the table. As the time went by, our dissatisfaction became more overwhelming than our surprise. When we spoke to the manager, he reacted very calmly. This was the last time we went there.

The dinner buffet featured very ordinary ingredients and relied heavily on sauces for seasoning. Almost every dish was topped with a generous amount of sauce, and it wasn't a chef's special sauce. Each plate contained the same vegetables and side dishes, making it far inferior to traditional Spanish tapas. It felt more like a Dutch snack platter. For the same price, there are many better restaurants available.

This is a terrible place, don't eat here if you appreciate service, atmosphere, or good food. We went with a group of eight people, and everyone left disappointed. You're allowed to order two dishes per round, but they're so small that you have to order incredibly often to feel even slightly full. However, the "host" stopped us from ordering after five or six rounds because the kitchen was too busy and they couldn't handle our larger group. According to the host, we just had to "slow down a bit." This resulted in us not being allowed to order or receive any dishes for about an hour, so we ended up leaving before everyone was completely full. If you can't offer an all-you-can-eat concept, simply don't offer it. Besides, the taste of the dishes isn't great, so this didn't save the overall experience in any way.

A reasonably priced tapas restaurant. I'd prefer three or even four appetizers per person per round, as the appetizers are small. Most of the appetizers are delicious. I was disappointed with the carpaccio, but I loved the salmon in nori with soy jelly. The service is good; they come by often enough, and they play nice music. The restrooms are rather dark, though.

We had a tiered plate with tapas for lunch. We got a hamburger bun, 2 chicken pieces, potatoes, 2 sushi. 2 Calamari, a bowl of nachos and a basket of bread with aioli and herb butter. It was delicious. Long wait, friendly staff. Ate there via social deal.

What a wonderful evening at Rodaen. I asked for a pregnancy menu when booking and they had taken that into account, they had crossed out what I am not allowed to have now, thank you again for that, it was very nice! We had a delicious meal, every dish was made with care, presented nicely, the cauliflower in ... way was tasty and special also the schnitzel, carpaccio of red cabbage, spare ribs very tasty. And not expected but the fries please don't change them! They were so tasty no idea what herbs they used but for somewhat thicker fries they were crispy themselves, super tasty. The desserts were also very tasty, the waffle was super tasty but I think there were alcohol cherries on it (I didn't eat those after all.) The brownie is firm but ohh I get hungry again thinking back to the delicious food haha. We were helped very nicely by friendly top staff, Good atmosphere and I also found the space very beautiful & relaxing. What is also nice is that you can park in front of the door. In short, we will definitely come back

We are very enthusiastic about this beautiful, modern but cozy Tapas Restaurant! The dishes are really delicious. Very nicely prepared, well flavoured, prepared & laid out with care. Everything was hot, neatly served, we thought the standard was very good & high compared to other all you can eat tapas restaurants. Tasty choices on the menu. Thank God no QR Codes. But take notes the old-fashioned way! Everything tastes fresh and of high quality. So a big 10! The staff is also very friendly, hospitable and pleasant! Toilets neat! And the place is attractively but quietly & neatly decorated. We will definitely come back!

Ate here with Social Deal. And how wonderful it was! Similar in concept to 't Zusje but 100 times tastier! Good quality products and tasty flavors. It takes some time between servings, but if you adjust to that, no problem. We had a very pleasant evening there with our family. It is more than half an hour's drive for us, but we would love to do that again!

There was only 1 employee, so it took a little longer. Each had 12 hours. Soup was very lukewarm and the croquette was not warm on the inside either.

Op de google review scoort dit restaurant een 4,5. Dat is echt een veel te hoge beoordeling. Het concept is "all you can eat". De hapjes zijn wel erg klein dus je moet eigenlijk heel vaak bestellen. Ik heb niet alles geprobeerd. Enkele hapjes waren best oke zoals de soep, carpaccio, kaasfonduetje (maar geserveerd op een ijskoud bord) en de palingmousse. Maar bv de verschillende rundvlees hapjes werden geserveerd met groente die helemaal niet lekker was en ondefinieerbaar qua smaak. De vitello is taai en wordt ook ijskoud geserveerd.

Food is delicious as always. Friendly service.. Only no success with large groups, then it becomes a mess because they halve long tables in service. We were 17 guests. Through reservations, too many guests are allowed in on Friday evenings, which means the kitchen cannot keep up, and you cannot do 4 courses of snacks in the time frame you receive, such a shame we had a 5-hour seat for 4 x snacks and then we had to have dessert... Staff remains friendly and goes above and beyond...

Since we were with a larger group, the service was much worse than I have heard from others, namely not all dishes arrived, I did not receive half of the main dishes and I received 2 while I was busy with desserts. When we ordered desserts, all the cutlery was immediately taken away, which was strange because I could still order something for unlimited food. But after we had finished our desserts, the receipts were gone and the rest didn't want anything anymore, but I thought it was a shame, I still wanted something, they weren't really asked about it and getting in touch with the staff was also difficult. Sometimes it is a long wait for your next dishes (2 dishes per person per round) On the other hand, you don't have empty glasses. They are quick with that. Now we wanted to do something via SOCIAL DEAL make a reservation for 4 people on Saturday January 25th, but there is no room yet. Tried on other weekends in January as well as on Fridays; no place. Only for 2 people. When you call directly to make a reservation for the same date for 4 people, there is room.... strange and not customer friendly.

We were 14 people. It seemed like the system was not set up for a larger group. The food was very good, but the waiting time between dishes was unacceptably long. The order forms were collected later in the evening and the kitchen still had to get to work. And with each course there was one or more dishes missing. E.a. with the result that we were able to order less than we wanted and some were still hungry when we went. Not a second time for us.
