Restaurant Soya in Wijk 10 Binnenstad

I've been coming here once or twice a year for years, and it's always been five stars. But now Soya is starting to lag behind other sushi restaurants. The menu doesn't offer much choice, and ordering by filling out paper forms is also lagging behind when ordering with a tablet or QR code. The food quality is good but not (anymore) spectacular. Service is still good, with friendly staff. The ambiance could be improved with better lighting and fewer tables. Since there are better sushi restaurants at the moment, I don't think I'll be returning (for a while).

Wide selection, attentive and very friendly staff. Allergens are not listed on the regular menu, but an allergens card is available!

The food was delicious. The service was very friendly. If you had a question, they were happy to explain it. I appreciated that you didn't have to wait very long for your food. And there's plenty of choice on the menu.

Freshly prepared dishes of very good quality, which you normally do not get at an all you can eat restaurant. Good service and a nice place. Recommended!

Slow service for the type of restaurant. First bite (after about 30min). Poor quality food. An environment that impressed me with its sadness. Less varied menu than average. I'm struggling with the details... Positive note: the blonde waitress, with short hair, not oriental, was super kind and professional despite working practically alone in the entire room. Ps: Udon and squid soup not recommended for the faint of heart

Tried it again after our previous visit. Quality is bad, the sushi is not tasty. Had many times better. We really don't understand the good reviews. It also doesn't look good in terms of presentation. Wok from Pejo does even better. The dishes were also mixed up and we had not ordered them. Service was very friendly! The restaurant was very pleasant with a nice variety menu items. There is the option for chef menu, but we choose our plates. I recommend the lamb, super tender, it was a interesting taste and approach. The sushi was very nice and crispy. The atmosphere was good, but restaurant was very hot, even more the food was spicy. The service is okay. People that hates coriander, watch out, a lot of dishes had coriander.

We always wanted to go to Soya again because we heard positive reactions around us. Finally went out for dinner last night. Unfortunately it was a major disappointment. The sushi tasteless. Often too cold or too watery. The rice was also dry in some maki, making it seem as if the rolls had been in the refrigerator for a while. The fried chicken was very dry and therefore not tasty. The positive highlight were the lamb skewers. Those were delicious. All in all a very disappointing experience. No more Soya for us. We also found working with a note to place your order a bit old-fashioned. But that doesn't affect the food. So that is not included in the assessment. I believe that there are better restaurants in the vicinity.

Heerlijk verse sushi, smaakvol. Vriendelijke bediening. Porties zijn groot, maar vooral lekker. Rijden er graag voor om.

I have eaten here several times. With a group or as a couple. The food is good, it is always fast and the service is very friendly. Delicious unlimited sushi food.

Good sushi in itself, but a bit overpriced for the quality. The fried snacks were clearly fried in old fat and all the clothes smelled terribly of frying fat even though we were sitting far from the kitchen. I won't go there anymore.

Food is delicious and worth repeating. It is very special that if you already select your dessert, ice cream, with the last order, which also includes some hot food, the dessert is the first on the table and then the hot dishes are added.... You also get the rice quite quickly without the other dishes being there yet. Rice has then become cold.

The food is delicious, nothing to complain about. The atmosphere is pleasantly busy, in a haze of buzz. If I can suggest something for improvement, tell people when you serve a portion what is for 2 people. It was very nice that I had asked for a quiet corner to celebrate my wife's birthday together and that they had put a nice Fontijn on it with the ice cream and my wife received congratulations. Definitely recommended!!

Delicious food, beyond expectations. The service was very fast. Something can still be done about the atmosphere. It was quite old fashioned.

Have a nice evening. 1 tip, don't immediately order 5 dishes at the same time. You will then be full very quickly. Take it easy. Quality is top notch.

Delicious food and enough diversity for everyone. Even a children's menu. Had to ask for a new glass every time when drinking from a bottle. Was always forgotten? Furthermore, the ventilation is not good in the restaurant, we were not even near the kitchen, but our clothes smelled really bad.

It appears this place has changed ownership - the menus were branded "Oika", the price was cheaper than what was shown on the website and many of the dishes that used to cost extra no longer do so. The sushi tasted decently fresh. Some of the grill items were a little underwhelming but most were good. The lamb, duck and squid were all good; the beef however was clearly very cheap cuts. All things considered, the price is very good for what you get. I had to ask for a drinks menu which was a bit strange, but the choice was good and prices were very reasonable.

Would like to eat this every day

The udon noodle soup was tasteless, I found a bone in the chicken yakitori and the black sesame ice cream was completely crystallized, yet they charged me 2.50 euros extra for it. Nevertheless, overall the food was tasty, the atmosphere was good and the staff was very friendly. 4 stars.

Went out for dinner on Easter Monday. We made a reservation in advance, but unfortunately it did not go through properly. No problem! A table was prepared. Furthermore, it was very busy, but that did not matter in terms of speed of service!

Love the infinite sushi Big selection, good taste and nice personel. Even the prices are good especially if you drink one of the infinite refill teas.

Nu alleen een luxe box opgehaald voor oud jaar. Wel op de site eerst besteld en betaald, zodat ik weer snel weg was. Al een keer eerder wezen eten, dus we wisten dat het goed zat met de kwaliteit.

Heerlijk eten, bediening vriendelijk. Sfeer goed alleen de afzuiging werkt niet goed, je ruikt echt naar het eten.

Lekker en goed gegeten zoals we dat gewend waren. echter we hadden 2 kindjes mee van 1 en 2 jaar. een bakje frietjes en de rest meegegeten met de bordjes van 8! volwassenen!!. €40 betaald voor deze 2 kleintjes. Soya, schandalig!!! Voel me aardig genaaid. Denk dat we de volgende keer met met een feestje deze gelegenheid overslaan.

Als je lekker Sushi wilt eten en wilt gaan genieten, dan is Soya oprecht de Place to be! Echt heerlijk eten, vriendelijk en ontzettend leuk personeel. ( lopen de beentjes uit hun lijf en altijd vriendelijk met een lach!) Sfeer is erg fijn en je voelt je er altijd welkom. Wij komen er zeker 1 x per maand en het is altijd perfect.

Kan alleen maar positief zijn over dit restaurant. Heb er nu 3x gegeten en elke keer was weer een klein feestje. De sfeer is fijn, het eten is onwijs lekker en vers, de porties zijn niet schaars en de service is ook top! De keuze op de kaart is ook precies goed. Voor de sushi-liefhebber is er een grote keuze, maar ook de vlees- en visliefhebbers kunnen hun buik goed vol eten hier. Het vlees is bizar mals altijd!!! Bediening is tevens rap en zeer vriendelijk! Tip: de appel gyoza en gebakken ananas zijn heerlijk!! Ga zo door Soya!! :)

Beetje chaotisch met het serveren van de verschillende gerechten per gang en meer malen moeten vragen of de bestelde drankjes nog komen.

Vriendelijke bediening, vlot eten zelfs als het druk is. Best uitgebreide kaart. Prima plek om sushi te eten.

Love going to soya. Its always great food and the ordering is great. We do like the previous hostess because she was a bit more assistive and attentive then the person that was there last time we got there. But thats a preference with us. They do a great job. Highly recommend going here

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal dort und haben sie Zeit und das Essen sehr genossen. Der Service war sehr freundlich, immer da wenn etwas zu bestellen war und die Speisen wirklich top. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Voor het eerst geweest met mijn twee vriendinnen , heerlijk gegeten ....een absolute aanrader.

Goed "all you can eat" restaurant. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en je wordt vlot en netjes geholpen. Gerechten zijn aardig grote porties voor dit type restaurant, wat erg fijn is. Het is wel aardig aan de prijs, vooral voor jonge kinderen. Een bedrag per leeftijd zou wellicht een betere optie zijn. Nu betaal je namelijk voor een 4 jarige precies hetzelfde bedrag als voor een 12 jarige.

Not the worst sushi restaurant I’ve been to, but definitely not the best either. The taste of the sushi was good, the freshness of the ingredients used was also good, but the whole experience was lacking coherence. Some pieces from the same dish were way too big and others too small; some portions too big and other too small; several drinks and food we ordered never came and others we didn’t order were plopped on the table. The service was very friendly though and what we did get tasted good. All in all, an ok place for a meal with company you don’t want or need to impress.

Weird way serving salmon sushimi. Very thin slices. Looks like supermarket salmon. Beef dishes are great. The battered shrimp is served on a stick???? Why? Didnt bother to order sushi. A year ago i would recommend this restaurant. This time it was disappointing. Pitty.

Wij eten hier al een flink wat jaren geregeld, de laatste paar keer is de kwaliteit en smaak van het eten wat minder geworden, dat is jammer.

Het was allemaal erg lekker. Achtergrond muziek een beetje vervelend. Alles bijelkaar = een aanrader.

Op Valentijnsdag met vier personen aangeschoven. Het was volle bak. Verschillende tafels dubbel bezet. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding nog steeds prima. Sushi is op een prettige temperatuur. De bediening mag later op de avond iets sneller doorkomen met de bestelde drankjes.

Twee keer geweest in 2018. Grote porties, lekkere smaak. Niet alle producten even vers. Er zijn wel betere all you can eat restaurants te vinden.
