Subject: Order number 6, 10-11-2025, Hoorn location. We've ordered from here many times and have been very satisfied. Only once before was an order half an hour late. On average, we order from here 5-6 times a year. Today we ordered a luxury menu, which was ready right on time at 4:45. Afterward, I went to pick up my son, and we were going to celebrate his birthday that evening with sushi and cake. Once home, my wife put the sushi box on the counter. Our 5-year-old son was very hungry and wanted to check it out. We were busy with the baby, and suddenly the sushi fell out of the box onto the floor. He was terrified, and his mother was, of course, incredibly angry. It was her birthday, and she had ordered 50 euros worth of sushi. We couldn't eat out that day because the baby had a fever. We had no food, and I didn't know what to do. Perhaps I could get sushi again, and perhaps, given the circumstances, Sushipoint could offer some leniency. When I called, a woman immediately resisted. When I explained the situation in more detail, she offered to consult her manager. After a while, she returned with a suggestion of either a single sushi box or an 11-euro discount on the luxury menu. She couldn't do more. We were two adults and two young children, and a single box wasn't enough. And 40 euros on top of the 50 euros we'd already paid was way too much for us. We were deeply disappointed. And hungry. This wasn't a happy birthday. We will never order from here again; this incident has left a bitter taste in our mouths. We'll order somewhere else next time, or go to a restaurant altogether.

I ordered sushi here and was pretty disappointed. There was way too much rice and barely any filling. All the pieces were stuck together because the rice was packed too tightly, and it was really hard to separate them without everything falling apart. It honestly felt like it was the chef’s first day at work. The rolls themselves were poorly made and kept falling apart. If you’re in the mood to pay a lot of money just to eat plain rice - this is definitely the right place!

If you don't call them, you'll never get your order. Every time I called only after the order was late, and every time they didn't even find my order. It's ridiculous. After you call, it still takes at least 45min to get your food.

This has nothing to do with sushi. Very disappointed for the second time. Crispy isn't crispy at all. The dishes weren't warm. The sushi rolls had absolutely no flavor. We'll never order from here again.

The sushi was very tightly packed and fell apart when I picked it up from the box. It was full of Vetsin/Ajinomoto, which gave me heart palpitations. It was also completely tasteless. The crispy box wasn't crispy at all and looked like it had been sitting in the refrigerator for a while. This was our last time. It's a shame, as we've never had any quality issues before.

What a disappointment from a loyal customer. We regularly order sushi, but last time the order wasn't complete. We called immediately, but no one answered. Then we sent an email, and days later, they responded saying we'd receive a €10 discount voucher. We emailed back, saying that wasn't reasonable since you already get a standard €7.50 discount with HOORN. We never received a response. Very poor service.

Yesterday in the evening I ordered from Sushipoint Hoorn. Unfortunately, I woke up in the morning with the worst buik pijn, vomiting, 🤮 stuck to the WC worst food poisoning ever. Thank you ruining my weekend. I tried to find klantservice online to complain and maybe warn the restaurant. But I couldn’t find anything. NEVER AGAIN!

I didn't like the poke bowl that much. I had pressed the 'sushi point poke sauce' as a sauce. In short, the entire pokebowl was covered in a super salty sour spicy sauce. It was completely permeated with it 😞. A shame about the fresh ingredients because I could no longer taste them. Had a good experience at the sushi point in Haarlem!

Al wel vaker bij SushiPoint besteld. Deze keer anders dan de vorige keren, waarbij toen het mooi verzorgt eruit zag. Deze keer leek het of het zo in het Pokebowl bakje was gegooid. Zalm lag echt overal en de edamame ook. Niet zoals op de foto. En de sushirolls box was ook rommelig. Smaken waren redelijk. Miste van de tempura toch echt de crunch om de sushi.

Toen het binnen kwam dachten we wauw maar al gauw was het van wauw naar iel. De eerste hap was oke maar de garnering was taai en er zat haast geen yakatori of ebi in. Zelfs op de bonen zat geen zoutkorreltje. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Altijd zeer tevreden met de kwaliteit van het eten en de bezorging. Vanavond weer een bestelling geplaatst waarna deze bij aankomst niet compleet bleek. Een telefoontje en we kregen een dubbele portie van het ontbrekende deel en een cadeaubon. Zeer tevreden met Sushi Point Hoorn!

Slechte prijs/kwaliteits-verhouding. Nu twee keer besteld. Beide keren veel vocht wat alles 'sompig' maakt. Ook zie je dat niet alles even vers is. Er wordt veel gebruik gemaakt van sauzen, avocado en garnituren om de boel te maskeren. 2 sterren omdat de bezorging wel prima voor elkaar is.

Lekkere sushi (onze favoriet is de luxury box), goede service. Wordt in een mooie box geleverd compleet met wasabi, soya, gember, eetstokjes, servetten en bakjes voor de soya. Levering eigenlijk altijd op tijd. Een keer was de levering te laat, toen hadden ze een tegoedbon bij de bestelling gedaan met excuses en korting voor de volgende bestelling.

Bestelling was prachtig verzorgd en verpakt, en exact op tijd bezorgd. De sushi zelf viel echter erg tegen.. de rijst in de handrolls was droog en zeer plakkerig, zeewier was ook droog. In de pokebowl zat voornamelijk veel komkommer en bonen en maar heel weinig zalm en avocado en de saus was erg overheersend. Jammer..

Wij bestellen regelmatig sushi en het is altijd ontzettend lekker en vers! Een echte aanrader! Als er iets mis is met de levering kan je gewoon bellen en bezorgen ze het na of krijg je korting. Super sushi en super service!

Als echte sushi liefhebbers waren wij erg blij met een nieuw sushidelivery restaurant in Hoorn. We hadden Sushipoint al in Haarlem geprobeerd en dat vonden wij daar heel lekker dus we waren heel erg benieuwd hoe het in Hoorn zou zijn. Bezorging was top, ze kwam precies op het aangegeven tijdstip. Echter, de sushi is niet zoals verwachting. Het is wel oké, maar voor de prijs blijf ik toch bij I Love Sushi bestellen. De rijst was teveel aangedrukt en te zacht. De sushi rolls waren ook veel te dun gesneden dus ze vielen ook snel uit elkaar. De summer special “Mango Tango” leek ons heel lekker, maar onze roll hadden bijna geen mango. De meerderheid van de stukjes sushi had helemaal geen mango (zie foto). Ik verwacht natuurlijk ook niet dat het precies zoals de foto’s uitziet, alleen dit kon echt geen mango roll genoemd worden.. De sushi van Sushipoint in Haarlem is in ieder geval veel beter dan in Hoorn. Het laagje met rijst is daar ook dikker en niet zoveel aangedrukt. Hopelijk hebben jullie wat aan deze feedback en dat Sushipoint Hoorn zal verbeteren. Ik zou het dan in de toekomst wel opnieuw willen proberen.

A truly terrible experience. I had to wait over two hours for my order. When I finally called to ask where it was, I received no apology and was treated very curtly. Absolutely no customer service and very disappointing. I've come to expect something different from you.

I've been coming here once or twice a year for years, and it's always been five stars. But now Soya is starting to lag behind other sushi restaurants. The menu doesn't offer much choice, and ordering by filling out paper forms is also lagging behind when ordering with a tablet or QR code. The food quality is good but not (anymore) spectacular. Service is still good, with friendly staff. The ambiance could be improved with better lighting and fewer tables. Since there are better sushi restaurants at the moment, I don't think I'll be returning (for a while).
