Good meat, genuine ingredients, delicious flavors. Value for money. Prices are a bit higher than average, but the quality and service are certainly not average. The wine selection (by the glass) could be a bit more extensive. Highly recommended.

It's been a long time since we've had such a delicious (vegetarian) meal; both starters and main courses were excellent. And the staff was friendly.

Hoe moet je beginnen om iets te beschrijven dat je alleen door ervaring kan beoordelen? Op zaterdagavond met ons vieren daar gegeten tussen 17.30 en 20.30 en we kozen voor het 5 gangen verrassingsmenu.Het werden er uiteindelijk 7. Uitgebalanceerde gerechten aan de hand van een Meester-kok en mede bediend door de lieve eigenaresse en het uitstekende personeel. Geen enkel gerecht was minder dan het andere en alles was zeer verfijnd. We hebben alleen maar positieve indrukken opgedaan. Conclusie: Een beter restaurant dat de middelmaat ver overstijgt. Bedankt.

Wij komen hier al vele jaren. Wat super is is dat de kwaliteit altijd goed is. Het is een intiem restaurant waarin de eigenaars (bediening/kok) alles doen om het de gasten naar de zin te maken! Een echte aanrader👍👍👍

Vriendelijk personeel, goede parkeergelegenheid, leuke sfeer, op terras wel veel geluid van verkeer, smakelijk gegeten en goede variatie,

Vriendelijke ontvangst. Ruime kaart. Wij gingen voor het 3-gangen verrassingsmenu. Het voorgerecht was een heerlijke frisse salade met kingfish. Helaas vergeten te fotograferen. Daarna het vishoofdgerecht . Een plaatje op het bord en heel lekker. Het vlees gerecht bestond uit kalfswang en bavette in een heerlijk jus. Ook het nagerecht was heerlijk. En de koffie completeerde een zeer geslaagde avond. Wij raden dit restaurant aan.

The surprise menu was good. The tap was partially broken, which was a bit of a shame, but otherwise, it was excellent.

Great meal. This is really fine dining. We took the four-course Valentine's menu, and each one was refined in taste and presentation. Will definitely come back! The interior is a bit classic, but the food is delicious.

Delicious food! Valentine's menu The place inside was a bit old-fashioned, but the food and delicious wine made up for a lot. Personally, I think it's a bit of a shame if you order a 5-course menu including cava in advance and wines with dinner that you have to pay extra for some fries and salad. Otherwise given 5 stars ;)

A nice place for a delicious dinner. And this weekend we had something to celebrate and what better place than 't Gesprek? Enjoyed refined flavors.

Wat hebben wij heerlijk gezeten en gegeten. Het personeel is vriendelijk en attent! Ze houden fantastisch rekening met een glutenintolerantie. En het eten is werkelijk verrukkelijk en de verschillende gerechten zijn mooi bereid. Echt een aanrader!

Lovely place, good food and wine

Very tasty meal! Everything very well taken care of. The plates are made with an eye for detail. The service is very friendly and does everything they can to make you happy. The atmosphere is nice; the space feels like a living room and, as the name suggests, invites you to have a good conversation. We enjoyed it, just like the times before. Highly recommended!

Een drankje op het terras vooraf met alle tijd om de menukaart te bestuderen. We gaan voor het chefsmenu voor deze maand, vijf gangen. De bediening is ronduit lief en bescheiden correct. We starten met een kalfstartaar, dat wil zeggen het tartaartje is de ster in een heel aantrekkelijk opgemaakt gerechtje. Dan volgt er een onvolprezen doperwtensoepje met paling. Mooie combi van smaken die naar meer smaakt. De volgende gang is een prachtig bordje met geschroeide coquilles en een bijzondere crème van artisjok die nieuwsgierig naar de bereiding ervan maakt. Dan komt er lamsbiefstuk dat weergaloos bereid is, een volle Italiaanse wijn (waarvan ik de naam gemist heb) begeleidt dit gerecht met verve. We sluiten af met een mooi nagerecht van een aangeklede mandarijn cremeux die er mag zijn. Kortom, geen wonder dat er zoveel positieve waarderingen gemeld worden over 't Gesprek. Daar doe ik graag en met overtuiging aan mee. Een adres om te onthouden en terug te keren!

I can’t say anything about the food because we never got to try it…. Really slow service!!! During one hour of being waiting we got a wine and two oyster, after complaining twice for the long waiting of the main dishes they just told us -“sorry, het is druk”- … most of the tables were in the same situation so we left.

We go here regularly. Went for lunch today which was excellent again. tasty meal with super friendly service. See you soon

We chose the 4 course menu and it was delicious and creatively served. Really enjoyed it! An address to remember!

We had a nice meal, but not more than that. For the price you would expect more and that is what we expected. When we came in and were waiting, we were not picked up, but they waved at us from a corner and indicated where we could sit. We had to wait a long time for a card and later also for service. The owner, or so we thought, was not looking for new customers. She was always standing at other tables for long periods of time talking to well-known customers and therefore had no time for service. She wasn't unfriendly, but clearly had other priorities.

We had lunch with our team yesterday at Het Gesprek restaurant. We had opted for a fixed 4-course menu with a starter and main course consisting of a choice of fish or meat. We thought the dishes tasted very good, the plates were beautifully laid out and the dishes were well prepared. When choosing the bavette, we were not asked how it should be prepared (rare, medium, done), the kitchen had prepared the bavette perfectly and everyone was very pleased with it. Then what doesn't go well at 8 out of 10 restaurants: frying fries. This is often the final point in the preparation of the main course and fries arrive on the table that have been fried in the oil just a little too short. So I always ask for fries that are baked a little longer so that they are crispy. Well-baked fries with homemade mayonnaise are a real treat. And yes, they also managed that well in the kitchen. They also prepared a beautiful menu for my vegan colleague. Perfectly cooked for a reasonable price. It's been a long time since I experienced such a good price/quality ratio in a restaurant. Compliments to the kitchen and service.

We wanted to have a cup of coffee. There is a sign outside the door. Lunch until 3 p.m. Dinner from 5.30 pm. It is not clear whether you are welcome for coffee and something tasty. We did not find it inviting to go inside at that time.

Good food, a bit pricey. But some improvements are possible... music choice is a bit vague. As if the radio is simply on. Plastic flowers on the table, plastic fern in a large planter, table a bit cheap (plasticy wood), ceilings from the 70s? Could use some attention.

Now that the restaurants are closed due to the lockdown, we ordered our Christmas dinner to eat at home. Everything is neatly packed separately and with care and provided with clear instructions on how to prepare everything properly at home. It was as if we were in the restaurant, the food was excellent, although of course it would have been nicer if we could have eaten this in the restaurant.

Due to a partial lockdown from 5 p.m., an evening dinner with friends could not take place. So we looked for a restaurant with a good lunch menu. Through reviews we ended up at 't Gesprek' (with ample parking behind the building). We opted for the 3-course lunch and that turned out to be a delicious choice. Every course was prepared with love. In short, highly recommended! We would love to come back again.

Overall I think the restaurant deserves 3 stars. 1 star is given to the food itself. The food is quite ok, nothing’s exceeded expectation. Good value for money. 1 star is given to the location, easy to navigate and it has a parking lot. Last star is given to the service. They provide menu in Dutch and English, however, the 2 menu’s are not the same. It seems that the English menu is missing an entire page compared to the Dutch version. It’s not worth to pay a special trip there but if you pass by or live in the neighborhood, it’s worth to give a try.

What a surprise this restaurant was! Delicious food. Every part of a dish was prepared with care and very tasty. The wine we had was also superb. The staff was also very friendly. I will without a doubt come back here more often. Recommended!

I had a delicious meal there with my girlfriend. We had the chef's menu with wine pairing, it had been a while since we had such a good meal. During the main course we said almost at the same time that it is really very good food for this price range. The service was excellent, very attentive and the dishes and wine came at a good pace without being pushy. I saw when we walked out that they also had a good whiskey selection, which we will try next time. Definitely worth repeating.

Delicious food, service quite ok. The reservation system does not work well, we reserved 3 weeks in advance and we were not on the list upon arrival. Sitting outside is nice in itself, but it's a shame about the intersection with a lot of traffic and the fountain, which bothered me immensely. It's as if someone is making wads of crepe paper in a corner. Enjoyed the rest, and good food!

Chose the spareribs for lunch and no regrets! Soft and tasty meat with a fresh pearl couscous salad. Recommended! The tenderloin sandwich was also excellent and both in sufficient quantity.

Not recommended! No feeling for comments from guests. When we say that so much bread is not necessary, the old, somewhat unappetizing lady starts arguing, but puts it down on the table anyway. A bottle of wine that is still open is not used, a new bottle is opened! and poured out. 'That certainly applies.' They should not decide that! Both wine and water are poured into glasses. Commercial, flat, and no sense of proportion.

Only drank coffee. Looks super cozy. Will definitely eat there sometime. There is a garden center within walking distance, first have a look there and then have a bite to eat at Het Gesprek

As always, delicious food, good service and reasonable prices. In my opinion, a must if you want to enjoy a nice dinner nearby. Tip: sit on the terrace in the summer.
