Customer service is nowhere to be found here. No response upon arrival, order repeated multiple times because they didn't listen. The seating area was very dirty. Not worth a repeat visit.

This is a standard cafe in small park (grass and a few trees) in the wooningboulevard on the edge of Utrecht. It could easily be soulless, but it isn't. The decoration is quite nice and it is welcoming and a good place to be for a coffee and cake. It had more substantial, savory dishes on the menu we didn't try. I'd go back.

They sell Great pita chickens here. went there twice on row (saturday and sunday) as the devil speaks which led the waitress to recognising me which was pretty funny we had a little conversation over our phobias of dogs, made my entire day definitely coming here more often !

Upon entering, I asked the waiter where the table was. I sat down at the designated table. There were still dishes from the previous guests there. The waitress said she was coming. We left after 20 minutes. The wait staff was busy with all sorts of things but never once came to our table to take our order. Very disappointing service. For this reason, I would not return.

Exactly what you expect and need from a snack bar

Very disappointing experience. My colleagues and I arrived during our school break and had to wait about 40 minutes for just a cup of coffee. When the order finally arrived, it was wrong and the coffee didn't taste good. The caramel we had ordered was also missing. The customer service was very poor. The staff was unfriendly, seemed unwilling to help, and responded unprofessionally when we asked about our order. There was not a single excuse for the long wait. I hope the management improves the service and the staff's attitude, because friendliness and respect are just as important as the quality of the food and drinks. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this establishment.

Great place! I have a gluten allergy and here I can get almost all the sandwiches gluten-free. In addition, they really know their food allergies and are very helpful. That inspires a lot of confidence. Definitely recommended!

This cafeteria is highly recommended! Besides the polite and customer-friendly service, the food is above average, and the selection is very extensive.

Ordered a satay roll and it was very good. Generous pieces of chicken and tasty satay sauce. Very good value for money. The service in this atmospheric restaurant is very friendly. The toilets looked very clean. Highly recommended if you want to grab a bite to eat on the home furnishing boulevard!

Yes, what I found was very poor service. Ordered two coffees, received one first after waiting for quite a long time, and there were still a few tables waiting. They had three people serving and about 6 tables with customers, so yes, it was really very busy.

Years ago, we always used to come here for a bite to eat after shopping. Always well-presented, good, and professional. What a shame, because now you look for something else, since they certainly don't want to give you a tasty experience and just angry at the customers afterwards 🤣🤣

We wanted to have a cup of coffee at 5:15 PM on Saturday, but were turned away again because they were closing early due to the busy day. That's strange, of course, when everywhere they say they're open until 6:00 PM.

Cozy atmosphere (soft background music would be even better) and super friendly staff. We were helped by (I think) Niek; an extremely friendly young man! We will definitely come back.

They forgot to take our order. They also didn't ask us if we wanted another drink after a while. All the dirty, empty tables weren't cleared until someone sat down.

Nice little restaurant, as far as you can call a restaurant on a furniture mall nice. We only had a grilled cheese sandwich, and it was okay. The decor is nice.

4.15 for a croquette sandwich and 70 cents for ketchup—it's ridiculous. The croquette was also cold inside, inedible.

The lunch (a midday meal) was fine, and so was the service. But the numerous pigeons sitting on the tables inside—plundering the plates of people who have left, leaving food scraps scattered, and then also sitting on tables that have already been cleaned and where cutlery is laid out—seems undesirable, to put it mildly—unhygienic. It didn't seem like the staff did anything about it, and that, of course, is why this situation exists. I watched in amazement; I've never experienced anything like it!

Friendly young lady in the cafeteria, good prices and tasty fries ;) The cafeteria itself doesn't have much of an appearance, but that's not what you come for. You will have a nice time in the restaurant.

The food is always good, I like to come here when I'm in the area. Until today, I placed an order with food and drinks for two people. I ask for a glass of water to take a paracetamol, which was difficult because "we don't have tap water" well... You do, but I don't get it, you mean. You also have to wash your hands, right? Yes, we do have it, but it contains lime and you can't drink it. My husband works at Vitens, so that excuse doesn't work. And yes, I made all of this immediately clear, there was no doubt about it.... And if I'm a spendthrift and only order water, then I understand this reaction. Spa blue to wash down a paracetamol. What a letdown.

Good service, we were helped nicely, the food was also tasty, the only downside was the chai latte. This one was more latte than chai, kind of warm milk.

An unexpectedly fun and tasty place on the housing boulevard!

Today we had a pre-arranged lunch with 11 people, including 2 children. I can't say anything other than top top top! Very extensive, fresh. Everything was also possible for the kids. The staff was very friendly and nothing was too much. Will definitely come back here. Thanks again. Ben Versluis

Due to my retirement I organized a party in 't Parkhuys. I discussed everything with the owner and he thought along with me about how I wanted it. On the day itself, everything ran like a well-oiled machine. Nice and pleasant staff who served everyone (of my visitors) well. Tasty snacks with drinks. So in one word great!! Went here for the first time quite unexpectedly yesterday. What a great place. Caring staff. Beautiful card. Beautiful ingredients and plenty of choice. Ate delicious sandwiches. Panini with crispy chicken and Italian bun full of delicious honey and brie. We would love to come back!

If we want a burger in Utrecht, we come here as standard. I've had the double spicy chicken burger here several times and everything is great. Food is delicious, service super fast and always a nice atmosphere. Delicious crispy fries and great burgers.

From the Royal Kentalis Academy we had a barbecue package here at the end of the team outing. The food was delicious, everything well taken care of and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

If you have a staff outing and you are not from the region, you will just have to wait and see where you end up. In terms of name, 't Parkhuys suggests that it is in an idyllic location, but it is in the middle of a furniture boulevard, on a lawn. A barbecue buffet had been arranged for us and I didn't have too high expectations, partly in view of the location. But that was 100% not too bad. Delicious, but spicy, chicken skewers! And I haven't had such good fries in a long time. What I found positive was that the soft drinks came from bottles and not from a syringe machine. Finally, I found the staff to be really warm and welcoming. But what was the taste of that light pink tonic?

I went with my office colleagues for lunch. The place is cozy and service was good. One Server was attending whole crowd with full attention which is highly appreciated. Food was really good.

Just got some fries here just before closing time. Excellent fries even at the end of the day. Made fresh every day, fat renewed every day. I don't agree with the bad reviews. I'd happily drive a bit for fries like that.

Nice place for lunch or dinner while shopping on the boulevard, or just because. The service was very friendly and correct. Drinks came quickly and the order was taken quickly. It was nice that I got some fresh Lemon with my coke. I like that. It was quiet (Monday afternoon) so the food arrived on time, but certainly not too quickly. The dish looked tasty (sateh), but the chicken probably came from the freezer. The meat was a bit dry and the juice from the marinade leaked out a bit. The fries were tasty and the grilled pineapple with the lettuce is a nice touch.

We ordered today, Feb 23. 2024 2x an Italian bun with "seasoned spicy chicken". The "Italian" bun was bake-off bread. Just not baked, not nicely browned, but a soft, dirty ball of dough that had clearly not been in an oven for more than a minute or two. Top that with that ready-made cold chicken soarma, add a nasty sauce and you're done. In short: a nasty disappointment for €20. Not for repetition. We'll plan to go somewhere else next time. Shame.

We thought we would have lunch but we waited for more than half an hour. The service and operation are not well organised. They have no system, they work with a note pad, they have no overview of who was in before. Very unfortunate, it looked nice, but service, operation and not understanding how service works is a shame.
