Restaurant Taste in Wijk 01 Centrum Zeist

After walking the streets of Zeist and stopping in so many restaurants, I was lucky to find this one Gorgeous food and the kindest ownership That made this most welcoming experience

What a beautiful, atmospheric bistro, and food to die for. Personal and genuine attention for you as a customer.

Had a super delicious meal: ribeye for my husband and papardelle with shrimp for me. Very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Newly opened bistro. Tasty food and very good service. Highly recommended!!

We had a wonderful meal at Bistro Taste. Kudos to the chef (new since January). We'll be back soon!

We had a fantastic meal at Bistro Taste! The service was incredibly friendly, and the owner goes above and beyond to make sure our guests have a great time. We'll definitely be back when we're in Zeist again!

We had a wonderful time! We first had drinks and then had a delicious meal here. The food was truly fantastic, and so was the service. Highly recommended for a wonderful evening of enjoyment! You're truly pampered.

A great place to go for a tasty lunch, diner or just a good coffee. They offer a big variety of good wine as well. A comforting setting and very friendly and energetic personel.

Delicious dishes, generous portions, and wonderful wines! We'll definitely be back.

Very nice, very friendly service. Super tasty appetizer platter! Highly recommended!

A fantastic addition to Zeist and the surrounding area! My wife and I dined here on Valentine's Day, and everything was perfectly arranged, including a Valentine's Day appetizer! In a word, fantastic!

Delicious food, fantastic staff, and great atmosphere. They also have a good selection of wines at a more affordable price than elsewhere. I'll definitely be back.

I had lunch here with a friend, and despite the lunches being served around us all looking delicious, we found it "meh." We had the carpaccio and the chicken, and we both found it a bit boring. Moreover, the portions were very small, as we were both still hungry when we left (one thin slice of bread with very little topping). Our advice would be to at least make two sandwiches and enhance the flavor with some kind of spread or more salad. It was quite enjoyable, but we did grab an extra sandwich at home, which shouldn't be necessary when ordering a sandwich somewhere.

We ate here in the evening, opted for the tasty experience and were served a variety of dishes, it was very tasty, really great!

I visited the newly reopened restaurant Taste with friends. I don't often write reviews, but in this case, I really wanted to. We enjoyed dinner so much that we returned the next day to check out the lunch menu as well. I don't do that often either. The food was good, the service was friendly, and the location of this cozy restaurant on Slotlaan is fantastic. The tuna steak is highly recommended for dinner, and for lunch, I would definitely go again for the pinsa with burrata and tomato. I didn't know what it was beforehand, but it was a (very deserved) recommendation from the chef. I'll be back very soon.

A beautiful terrace with sun all day, excellent wines and enthusiastic entrepreneurs who know what hospitality is.

This restaurant exceeded all my expectations. The service was absolutely wonderful — attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome. The food was simply unbelievable: perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Every detail showed care and excellence. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience

Delicious wines, beautiful terrace with all-day sunshine. We came for drinks and unexpectedly stayed for dinner. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful meal at Taste. The tomato risotto was delicious, and the steak was perfectly cooked. The chef's secret sauce was truly unique. The guys were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic; it truly was a culinary evening out. Our dog was also very welcome. Unfortunately, we don't live nearby, but we'll definitely be back after our next walk in the woods. Congratulations, guys, and best of luck with your wonderful business!

Since January 2nd, there are new owners, and it's a fresh start! Very friendly and welcoming, and open to a pleasant conversation, despite the bickering ladies on Thursdays. 😅 I wish you all a happy and wonderful future as guests and neighbors.

Very nice place to meet with friends! Great food and nice atmosphere 🤗

I went to this restaurant to join a borrel for a birthday celebration and after that we had dinner. I had the shrimp risotto and it was simply delicious. I also tried the fries with truffle mayo and Parmesan, which were very tasty. I had a really nice mocktail as well. The service was excellent, the place is nice and organized, and the staff are very friendly. I really enjoyed my time here and would happily come back.

Cozy atmosphere, good food, I will definitely come back. The service is also very friendly, the people are friendly, and the owner is also very nice.

Had a wonderful dinner at Bistro Taste. Friendly service, a great menu, and truly delicious food! I'll definitely be back!

Super delicious food, wonderful wines, and a wonderful atmosphere. Hats off to the new owners of this bistro.

I thoroughly enjoyed a shared dinner with friends. What a fantastic experience! Every dish was perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. The friendly service and pleasant atmosphere made the evening complete. Absolutely recommended!

We came for drinks; the atmosphere was lovely, the service was excellent, the wine was good, and the appetizers were delicious. The lunch, dinner, and wine menus all looked good. We'll definitely be back.

We visited Restaurant Taste in Zeist for the first time on January 2nd, on the first day of the new owners. We had a delicious meal; the menu is fantastic and the dishes are of high quality. The house wine was really tasty. Highly recommended, we would love to come back!

Just got here and had a wonderful evening with excellent service, who served me a rare but tasty satay with a particularly delicious salad. I have missed this for a long time. Highly recommended and really worth the money.

Had a delicious meal here yesterday; sat down and were served quickly. The person serving us soon noticed that we weren't from the area, but was very friendly and the food was really top-notch. If we are in the neighborhood again, we will definitely stop by again. Regards, Michel and Angeline from The Hague

Super nice place. Very friendly service and delicious bagels! I highly recommend the carpaccio bagel.. a pure delight 😋

Nice guy serving, but the food was bad. Chicken satay wasn't tasty and wasn't cooked properly. Nasty peanut sauce. And a bowl of salad with loooooots of dressing. We were offered another dish, but didn't take it, so we paid the full amount. A free drink would have been appropriate.

Delicious food and fast, friendly service. It's clear that attention is paid to the food. The atmosphere is also relaxed.

For us, Taste is truly one of the nicest and coziest restaurants in Zeist. The terrace is beautiful and the staff is incredibly friendly and always very attentive, enthusiastic, and service-oriented! The owner is also a very sweet lady who is a fantastic cook! Compliments on the quality of the food; it is always fresh and tastes amazing!

It was a nice evening, the pastries were really tasty 😍

We've been sitting here for 45 minutes now and have been looking at empty glasses for half an hour...

On a sunny, busy day, this is definitely not recommended. Six people serving 50-60 guests enjoying drinks. Without exaggerating, we and 6-10 other tables waited 24 minutes for them to realize we were all new. Several guests walked out. We just wanted to see how long it would take. The staff walks around and deals with each table and then rushes back inside. They're still writing everything down with pen and paper instead of having half a person with a handheld device. People go inside to order themselves. I hope this is just an off day or a lack of teamwork and structure. The dishes and snacks flew out of the kitchen, but they had everything under control! The terrace is beautiful and looks well-maintained.

Nice and cozy restaurant. Nice simple menu and the food was very tasty. Recommended to eat :-)

Good service! Very friendly staff. Definitely worth coming back

Food bad, meat well done, chicken satay full of fat, staff busy with their phones. Looks like a Moroccan tea house never again!!!

Once again settled down at Taste for a dinner. Taste lives up to its name. I went for the chicken thigh satay, atjar ketmoen, kroepoek, gado gado. All this is served with a well-filled bowl of fries and (finally again) a very tasty salad! The service is also very courteous and correct, the toilets are clean and the whole has a pleasant and atmospheric ambiance. Best Taste a big 9! I can only conclude that it is very good every time. Chapeau!…

Wij komen graag weer terug....

Delicious wine and delicious bitterballen 👍😊

We had a lovely drink here. Excellent service

Had some drinks here at Christmas, they were super friendly and gave us champagne on the house. Apart from that, we come more often and the service here is always fast and very friendly.

The pasta was very tasty with an excellent salad. Beautiful decor with many interesting photos on the wall. Highly recommended.

Cozy place in the center, friendly service and a nice lunch menu.

Delicious food here. Welcoming reception and pleasant atmosphere. Recommended!

Wonderfully relaxed evening of eating at taste during a weekend out with friends. Friendly staff, attentive service, see what is needed, delicious pasta. Here the customer is king. You feel that you are welcome and even a game of cards with drinks after our dinner was no problem. When we are in the area again we will definitely visit again.

Everything is fine and what I noticed: very clean windows outside and inside, that says something about the neatness of the restaurant. Class👍The food is excellent, steak or ribeye, I had... regarding the atmosphere, there are 4 people making noise, so it's fun and loud. noise probably due to the alcoholic young people on the terrace. We are inside, separated by a window and a sliding door. The service is very alert if I could also charge my phone. It is worth my while to eat there again 💕 madam, I think the owner sat at the bar, Thank you for the good ambiance and delicious food, ❤️👍

Had a lovely meal on the terrace at restaurant Taste. The duck breast with noodles was nicely marinated. Service friendly and fast. Preparing the dishes for 10 people went well. Recommended.

Really nice restaurant! The menu is exclusively in Dutch but the waiters translate easily into English. From small dishes to larger ones, there is something for everyone!

Everything was perfect, but I personally thought the music was a bit too loud

Very nice and polite service, food was fresh and excellent and atmosphere is fun! Would come back, and highly recommend

Despite the crowds, a drink was quickly provided. Sandwiches top, worth repeating!!!

Nice restaurant with cozy terrace. Nice lunch and good service!

Booked last minute with 19 people. Super tasty, nothing lacking and very comfortable in terms of space and warmth on the terrace. Recommended!

Yesterday on King's Day I tried to get a drink, after 20 minutes nothing was asked where it was, it turned out that it had not been passed on, I ordered again after 10 minutes and still nothing, but I did ask if you wanted to pay in advance, then I did something that I would rather not do, just got rid of it. hopefully it was an incident

Delicious food, friendly service!!

Great music, a super welcoming and cozy ambience and a friendly staff. Best tomato soup ever. I recommend!

In all his modesty, chef Pascal has once again presented a parade of fantastically tasty and beautiful dishes. And served in a masterly manner by 'natural beauty' Babs.

Tasty food and good price. Service by a friendly staff.

Delicious food and pleasant service.

Taste has a nice terrace on the busy shopping street. Had a ginger orange tea in the sun on the terrace. Service very friendly. Nice card. Extensive drinks menu in the afternoon.

Delicious salad, definitely worth it

Lunch tasted good, service and hygiene toilets could be better. The service could be a bit more friendly and pleasant.

Friendly service, always pleasant

Cosy, tasty food and friendly staff. A birthday drink with snacks was great. They had put up decorations. Esther and colleagues worth repeating. Good service, tasty snacks and we didn't lack for anything. On behalf of family and friends, thank you for a wonderful evening.

The Ceasar Saled was so good that I thought about applying for it to find out the recipe. Great business!

It was a very nice atmosphere. An extensive menu with lots of goodies. The salad with salmon was excellent. Nice service. Very relaxed. In short, highly recommended!!

Delicious. Only fries way too salty. Wasn't too busy, but I have a feeling if it's full they won't be able to handle it.

Too crazy for words, 4 prawns for 16 euros and then a bit of fries and a bit of salad for 10 euros, so 26 euros. Scandalous!!

Delicious food, hospitable and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Nice place, too bad they don't serve brown bread!!!!! So next time have lunch somewhere else.

Cozy terrace, delicious homemade apple pie. Very friendly staff! Definitely come here more often!

Terrace on a nice street corner. Friendly service and a snack. Not excellent, but good enough.

I come here every week. A great restaurant.

What a super good and cozy restaurant this is! Delicious food, friendly and helpful staff. Thanks Driss for the tip and your sister is great too. Taste is an absolute must! My compliments! 10+ Greetings, Guido Bosman

Perfect food and delicious matching wines 🍷👌

Highly recommended, very friendly staff! Very tasty meal

Great tent! Good service, excellent food! Highly recommended!

Great heated terrace, nice atmosphere and very friendly service. Nice for a drink with friends, a casual bite to eat (nice varied menu and delicious cakes). We would love to come there!

Very friendly and fast service and delicious dishes. Tournedos is very tasty and so is the duck breast!

Service was super unwelcoming and I am now sick in bed with food poisoning! It really disappoints me how people go about their work here. Not recommended.

Good service, very friendly staff and delicious food

Good food, good service, nice restaurant

What a nice experience. Hospitable reception. Nice explanation when asked about the menu and the layout of the business. Another taste of delicious white wine 'from the patron'. Super experience and definitely recommended!

Beautiful place, friendly staff and delicious monchou cake! I will come back here more often!

Very friendly staff, helped quickly too. Highly recommended. The monchou cake was very tasty.

Gezellig terras! Fijne bediening!

Traditional pastries from our own kitchen, what more could you want? Really delicious.

Very hospitable service. And a pinot grigio so delicious that I will definitely come back for it😁

Suitable address for a quick meal

Had a delicious lunch there and great service too... Recommended people!

super sweet staff. Very hospitable and nice to chat with. Food was delicious and very affordable. Satay was delicious, a few fries would complete it. Highly recommended!!!

Had a nice lunch here, good sandwiches, recommended
