A place where I really like to go, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is very relaxed and informal.

We had a wonderful evening at Tosca! The service was easygoing, but they were clearly on top of things and informative about the dishes on the menu. We had to wait a bit longer for dessert, but they did explain it. The dishes were incredibly tasty, and the ambiance on the terrace is perfect in the summer. A wonderful long summer evening with surprising Italian food.

Fantastic Italian restaurant! Ate here for the second time in a short time. Not your typical Italian pizza and pasta. Here you'll experience a taste explosion. Great service. In good weather, sit outside and feel like you're in France with bistro tables under grapevines and twinkling lights. It's also a lovely place to be inside. Don't forget the tiramisu! You won't find it better anywhere!

Ate at Tosca for the third time in a few years. Positively surprised every time. Had food delivered twice in the summer on the lovely terrace and once during corona for a company dinner. In all cases the food was delicious. Italian, but always slightly different, which makes it fun every time. It's also nice that there are many special non-alcoholic drinks on the menu. That only makes the experience even better than a standard Fanta or Sprite. Last but not least, the service and the attention paid to you. Casual and nice! And then, last but not least, the non-convulsive fuss about bread and water. Just a nice bottle of tap water on the table, no fuss about it, and bread supplemented with olive oil as it should be in an Italian restaurant. Perfect ending to King's Day.

We all had a great evening here. The dishes and wines were delicious. If you want to enjoy Italian cuisine for an evening, this is highly recommended.

Ik kan maar één ding zeggen . . . Verrukkelijk. Coquilles met venkelpuree, heerlijk. De pasta met uien en ansjovis (waar ik helemaal niet van hou) . . . Super! Maar dat buikspek . . . Ooohh dat buikspek. Goddelijk. Ach, echt alles was heerlijk. De bediening was gezellig en we hadden gewoon een superavond. Het menu wisselt constant, dus ik verheug me al op de volgende keer. Maar ik weet nu al dat ik me weken van te voren ga proberen te verzekeren van dat buikspek. Wat zeg ik? Van het hele varken. . . !

One of my favorite places in the city! The food is really good - as someone who’s lived in Italy for 20 years - the quality of their ingredients is on point. One of my favorite things is to try their new menus and try to replicate them at home, always a guest favorite!

Tosca, it is a cozy place on a beautiful square in a typical Rotterdam neighborhood. The food is worthy of Michelin, very consistent quality with a changing menu that surprises every time. If you want a romantic date, you can go here. If you want to eat out with a small group, you must make a reservation. If you want to eat out with a large group, it is better to go somewhere else. All in all top quality food and staff.

How can it be that I live 5 minutes away and have never been?! Yes it is Italian cuisine but not your vulgar pasta bolognese, modern cuisine with a classic touch. Everything from the antipasti to the main courses was incredibly tasty and portions are on the larger side, making sharing possible. Look forward to eating at Tosca often <3

Forget the reviews from wannabee Michelin inspectors from thefork, lacarte and other quasi interesting websites. Tosca is everything you wouldn't expect in the area where the restaurant is located. Not too complicated a menu, not super extensive either, but prepared with a lot of love. And you can taste that. If you find a better Tiramisu elsewhere in Rotterdam, I would like to read about it in the comments. Recommended. reservations are also recommended.

This is one of those rare places that serves a finely tuned, classic but imaginative cuisine and also effortlessly offers a warm, intimate dining experience. The service is impeccable, always ready with suggestions and attentive, but never intrusive. It really is the full package, but also at a remarkably accessible price.

On a warm summer evening, Tosca has the best terrace in Rotterdam. Just like you're in Italy. The food is always top notch.

We were lucky enough to finally have a beautiful day and were therefore able to take a seat on the terrace under the grape vines... the service was very good, prompt but not rushed and with the right timing of the dishes. Excellent advice on the wine to choose and honest advice on the quantities to choose. All courses were equally tasty, tasty and good! Enjoyed to the fullest and that is what it is all about when you go out for dinner! Price/quality excellent!

Had a great meal with the book club. Being able to experience many flavors, all sublime and also a bit no-nonsense. Nice staff and a nice beer and wine list. But sincerely, I think the tiramisu is the tastiest ever, our group unanimously agreed on that. So don't hesitate and visit and eat that dessert! *ate here for the second time, new dishes on the menu, it was even tastier!

At Tosca you can enjoy delicious food. Everything is prepared very well. Service is very good and attentive. Much better than the restaurants that pretend to be able to cook good Italian food.

Hard to capture the joy of eating at Tosca without falling into a stream of superlatives and hyperboles. The attention to detail is everywhere and astoundingly consistent. Waterbottles are replaced stealthily and frequently, dishes are well balanced, gratifying and well portioned, the wine selection is astounding. There's something for everyone here, but most of all, there's reasons to come back, again and again.

From the moment we entered, we loved the atmosphere and how friendly and welcoming EVERYBODY in the staff was. We had a last minute booking there for a birthday and the table was still busy so we got offered bubbles and bites. The service was excellent from start to finish. The food was amazing (though we took too much because we couldn’t limit ourselves and wanted to taste most things) from the starters to the primi to the secondi. We ate so well that we sadly couldn’t try the deserts. The staff was really as lovely as the food and Tosca is genuinely a bit of italy in Rotterdam. They deserve their success even tho it's one of these places you wish not a lot of people knew so you’d wish they always have tables free.

Heerlijk gegeten buiten. Alles klopte: van de ambiance tot de bediening en tot aan alle smaken. Dus we komen zeker terug!

Zodra je aan tafel zit, wordt er gelijk een kraan fles water ( niets van dure flessen water) en een schaaltje olijven neer gezet, daarna brood met olijfolie. Personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk en attent. Fles water was op en gelijk een nieuwe op tafel. Eten is echt heerlijk en de locatie is geweldig, iets wat je niet verwacht middag in een woonwijk. Dit is een stukje Italië in Nederland. Zeker een plek om nog eens te bezoeken.

Misschien wel het mooiste terras van Rotterdam: een stukje Italië midden in de stad. Gezellig binnen hoor, maar de beste ervaring heb je toch echt buiten. Bijzonder lekkere gerechten, perfect uitgevoerd en soms met een creatieve twist. Personeel heeft kennis van wijn en is supervriendelijk. Vergeet niet tijdig te reserveren.

Een heerlijk italiaans restaurant met alles naar verwachting. De druiventakken buigen sfeervol over het terras, en het brood, de olijven, en het water waren inbegrepen.
