We had delicious veggie burgers. We came because it was on the list of kid-friendly restaurants in Hoorn. Our two-year-old son was also thrilled with the play area, which allowed us to eat in peace. We'll definitely be back!

A fantastic restaurant where people who are far removed from the job market are employed and have found a job. We think this initiative is fantastic! We really enjoyed it; the food was excellent and the service very friendly. We really liked the ambiance and the space.

I had the pleasure of hosting an anniversary party here as a DJ. We had a fantastic evening. The modern and exceptionally clean interior beautifully contrasts with the building's atmospheric, historic character. The staff is exceptionally helpful, with a strong sense of down-to-earth West Frisianness. Friendly, full of humor, and they go the extra mile without expecting anything in return. The restrooms are spotless, and the drink selection is extensive but not overwhelming. The infrastructural layout makes it suitable for all kinds of parties. It's an acoustic heaven thanks to the use of café-style décor and a lovely terrace with fast, friendly service. What stands out most is the staff. Young, warm team players with a true passion for hospitality! A top-notch venue that I'd love to visit again.

The atmosphere was actually good, but the fair was a bit of a distraction today. Service was friendly. The mojito was tasty. We only had a drink.

The location is beautiful, a lovely restaurant. I had the carpaccio salad, but I didn't like it. The meat was tough and had a lot of bran. I couldn't cut it with a knife, and it was way too wet from the mayo and lots of pecans. Such a shame.

The salmon was still a bit too raw. The menu lists a main course with fresh vegetables, but we found the amount of vegetables very small. It's better not to mention that. Wedges are included; fries are an additional charge. We'd finished the main course and the fries hadn't been served yet (although we had already mentioned them to the waitress), so we canceled them. The service was friendly.

Delicious food, quiet (no booming music) nice atmosphere

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the quality of the food was consistently high. On top of that, it’s a beautiful location with a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice coffee, beautiful location

Gezellig de Roode steen is één groot terras en wij zitten op het terras van Ridderikhoff. Niemand heeft haast en wij genieten dus extra lang van de gezellige drukte, voor we de koffie met een taartje krijgen.

Very nice restaurant of the Philadelphia Zorg foundation. I was here with a colleague and 3 clients from work for lunch and the food was very good. The service is motivated and the food came quickly. Recommended to have lunch here.

Wii had lunch there with our children and everyone enjoyed it very much. The service was also very good.

Made a reservation here for an early dinner and received a friendly welcome an hour earlier. Second round of drinks was taken but not delivered while staff were chatting with each other. The drinks only arrived upon request, but without apologies. Ate a snack board for dinner with my son, good quality products. My husband had fish & chips, with a mountain of cooked vegetables that he didn't expect/need.

Delicious soup at a reasonable price. Service was excellent. In a beautiful courtyard with outdoor dining in the sun.

Good food for not too expensive. Nice initiative also with employees who have a small distance to the labor market and learn things this way. If you don't know, some people can seem a bit "blunt", but if you know, you understand and it's just beautiful!

Very accessible menu. No frills, just delicious food, very affordable and excellent presentation. The desserts are also highly recommended. Lovely terrace in the sun. Wheelchair accessible, also inside the toilet. Very nice and correct service. Recommended!

Delicious lunch at Ridderikhoff on the Rode Steen in Hoorn during the Hoorn Fair with a view of the Disco Jumper XXL & The 65 Meter high KMG High Speed ​​Machine Airborne

We had a lovely lunch there, the soup was really amazing, highly reccomend this place !

We found it open on Monday and went, the staff are nice, it's in the center of Hoorn.

We read that food and hospitality in the Netherlands was poor….well not in Hoorn !Attentive waiter who brought us an English menu we ordered just mains as weren’t that hungry and boy we were not disappointed food was delicious.salmon was cooked n seasoned to perfection my husband had mixed grill and side of chips which were too much for both us. Amazing place we sat outside as pleasant warm evening but when visiting the toilet discovered the beautiful interior with gorgeous glass covered extension on back. Highly recommend a lovely square to watch the world go by with loved ones even better❤️❤️

Food was okay, service friendly. For a tasting dessert for 2 people the different portions were very large This is in contrast to the mixed grill, which could have been a little more generous. But that's a bit of a nitpick, flavors were fine.

Delicious salmon and the tastiest tenderloin ever eaten, it was delicious, we were there on Saturday evening and the terrace was full of nice staff who helped you nicely. We will definitely come back.

Wandelen door onze stad Hoorn en dan even lekker binnen gaan zitten om te lunchen bij Ridderkhoff op de Roode Steen. Aardige bediening en het is hier eigenlijk altijd gezellig. Nooit zit je hier alleen Martin vond zijn warme broodje smakelijk en ook mijn bruine boterham met zalm was lekker.

Had a nice lunch, we were with a large group. First a soup, then sandwiches. Sat quietly in the sunny room.

Uitstekend plek voor brunch. Vraag naar senioren menu die wat kleiner is dan het gewone menu. Binnen en buiten gezellig in het midden van Hoorn. Vriendelijke bediening met prima kwaliteit eten.

We had our wedding on February 9, what a great location and good service. We were allowed to come and decorate 1 day in advance. Extremely hospitable! We are very enthusiastic about it, we had a fantastic time, what lovely people there!!! But also the owner Niels is very hospitable and helpful!!

Beautiful location, very friendly staff. The starters doritos, carpaccio, salmon salad are highly recommended! The steak as a main course was perfect. The terrace and the square are super atmospheric.

Zeer gezellig vriendelijk personeel. Alleen er werd niet gevraagd hoe wij onze biefstuk wilde hebben ,dus hij was er droog en er zat een flink pees in . Maar het is zeker een aanrader, 👍

Wir haben hier als Familie zu Mittag gegessen. Die angebotenen Speisen waren lecker und wurden recht zügig serviert. Das Personal war freundlich und wir finden das Konzept Menschen mit Beeinträchtigung so wunderbar zu integrieren ganz toll. Etwas schwer hat sich das Personal allerdings mit unseren fehlenden Niederländisch-Kenntnissen getan. Sowohl in Deutsch als auch in Englisch wurden wir nicht richtig verstanden. So wurden wir doch etwas weniger oft besucht und konnten keine weiteren Getränke bestellen. Die Spielecke hat unseren Kindern gut gefallen. Das Ambiente war sehr schön.

Wir haben bei schlechtem Wetter in diesem tollen Café Zuflucht gefunden. Das Ambiente ist beeindruckend, das Essen gut und für Kinder wird einiges geboten. Die Speisen und Getränke waren lecker, auch wenn die Preise etwas gehoben waren. Der Service war leider nicht auf Zack, man muss aber auch bedenken, dass hier ein großer Wert auf Inklusion gelegt wird.

Leuke plek om te lunchen of een kop thee/koffie te drinken met een lekker stukje gebak. Het is een leuke plek waar mensen met kleine afstand tot de arbeidsmarkt werkzaam zijn, mooi concept. Personeel is erg vriendelijk maar we hebben heel erg lang moeten wachten tot we iets konden bestellen. Uiteindelijk zelf naar de bar gelopen om daar personeel te vragen om onze bestelling op te nemen. Dat kan natuurlijk gebeuren. Gebak heerlijk en keuze uit verschillende soorten verse thee is ook erg lekker.

Echt een aanrader! Mooi concept. Lieve enthousiaste bediening,allemaal zeer gemotiveerd!Heerlijk gegeten! De Kip sate was perfect,en het dessert ook. We komen zeker nog een keer terug als we in Hoorn zijn.

Mooi pand, gezellig (zeker achterste gedeelte) om te zitten. Bediening had ons niet goed in de gaten waardoor het opnemen van de bestelling erg lang duurde, maar dit kan gebeuren. Het is een mooie werkplek voor mensen met een (kleine) afstand tot de arbeidsmarkt!

We kwamen een week geleden met 21 personen eten waaronder kinderen en kan dus best wat chaotisch zijn maar zowel het eten de bediening waren super en erg blij dat we voor jullie gekozen hebben

Sehr netter, zuvorkommender Service. Toll ist das hier Arbeitsmarktferne Menschen eine Chance erhalten. Der Kuchen, Kaffee und die Süßkartoffelpommes waren sehr lecker. Der Platz mitten in der Stadt Hoorn ist sehr schön gelegen. Wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind kommen wir gerne nochmal vorbei.

Leuk, klein en gezellig restaurant annex lunchroom in het hart van Hoorn, gevestigd in een mooi oud en sfeervol pand. Met terras. Hier werken voornamelijk mensen met een verstandelijke beperking.

I love this place. Good food, great service and prices are fine. Lot of history in this place.

Heerlijk gegeten met oa 4 kinderen. Wat een fantastische en kindvriendelijke bediening, helemaal top! Het eten overigens ook. Wik zaten in de serre aan de achterzijde, mooie lichte ruimte met (toscaanse?) muurschilderingen. Echt een vakantie gevoel. We komen hier graag nog eens terug!

Lekker wat gegeten en de bediening is ook top leuke medewerkers staan open voor vragen of een praatje Topper zijn het stuk voor stuk

Locatie top. Sfeer super. Maar het eten is wat aan de matige kant. Voor wat je krijgt voor de prijs. De schnitzels waren alle drie even groot en precies hetzelfde qua vorm(fabrieksschnitzel). De biefstuk was heerlijk maar de groente en garnituur waren magertjes. Toetjes ok.

Een lekker broodje gaan we eten bij Riderikhof en iedereen is opgewonden 🥳 GEFELICITEERD met de publieksprijs van het West Fries ondernemersgala! Er staan overal bloemen en er komt nog een boeket. Wij vinden het net als al het personeel Echt verdiend!
