The food is fine but nothing special. What is unusual is the wait time. An average of 45 minutes for two tapas (read: a few small pieces of meat or vegetables). After three rounds, someone finally came to tell us they were about to take the last round. So, we ordered dessert. We waited 50 minutes. On quiet days it might be faster and better, but don't try this concept on busy days. It's also very noisy, to the point of shouting. In response to the owner's message: maybe that's exactly why we weren't being heard. We reported it twice to different waitresses. Unfortunately, nothing was done about it. In hindsight, the review could have been positive :). Criticism is always difficult to receive, I understand.

Tonight, two couples dined at Tabasco Nero restaurant in Hoorn for the first time. All the tapas we tried (over 30 different ones between the four of us) were truly delicious, and the diverse flavors really shine through. The selection is very diverse, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We recommend choosing a fixed price for tapas to fully enjoy everything Tabasco's menu has to offer for as long as possible. We were very pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back!

What was immediately noticeable upon entering were the larger groups and the crowds. To converse with each other, you really had to raise your voice and cover one ear. The food was decent. The service was pleasant and the atmosphere was great.

The food was delicious. We were a group of 22. They handled this well by first serving tapas tasting platters in two shifts. Then you get the menu and can order two tapas per round. They also kept our glasses topped up, so there was plenty of wine. The service was friendly and spontaneous.

The food was absolutely delicious! The restaurant has a great atmosphere. Highly recommended for a fun night out!

We opted for the full evening menu. You can order a maximum of two tapas per person at a time throughout the evening. Vegetarian, pork, chicken, steak... delicious food (and a compact one). Friendly staff and a good atmosphere, although the tables are a bit close together, so you can hear the conversations of the people around you. All in all, highly recommended!

I came here from Friesland for dinner. It was delicious, the staff were friendly, and it was relaxing because there was no time limit. It's a shame I don't live nearby, but if I'm ever in Hoorn again, I'll definitely be back.

The space between the tables is far too small. You can hear your neighbors' entire conversation. This causes too much unrest and noise in the restaurant.

As always, we had a delicious meal and enjoyed the sangria. It's highly recommended. The owners are always super friendly and the service is incredibly polite.

Tapas is delicious, truly delicious, unlike some tapas restaurants where everything tastes the same, garlicky flavor. The service is excellent. The sound is a bit loud, making it difficult to hear each other.

Was called back an hour later that someone had cancelled and if we would still like a table. We were still able to have a delicious meal that evening. It was okay. They were small dishes, they tasted okay. My dessert (phyllo pastry with apple) tasted very raw. The service was nice, but sometimes a bit clumsy, which can happen. It was very loud, some sound deadening would be very nice.

Last Sunday the two of us had a delicious meal at Tabasco again. The place was beautifully done in the Christmas spirit. Really beautiful with the hanging candles. Just a cocktail, always tasty, the nachos and sandwich with aïoli beforehand, tried different tapas, the puff pastry with apple, nuts and cheese is a favorite together with the salad (8 on the menu haha). The steaks in garlic were perfect again and after 5 rounds I was really satisfied. Still sharing a dessert because an apple in cinnamon with syrup waffle ice cream was too attractive. Delicious!! The informal atmosphere, the nice, quick service and the good food are what we regularly come back for. See you in 2025 and best wishes!!

Yesterday we went to eat, we were already there at 6 o'clock and around 8.30 we had only had 4 things and you are only allowed 2 dishes per round, so it doesn't make any progress with such slow service, so I left and then they call it all you can eat yes, I understand that with such slow service then they go away automatically and it was a bit lighter and I am also very disappointed because I had heard good things about Tabasco but I will never go there again unless I feel like eating my wife 3 staring at you and still hungry and looking for McDonalds...

Ik heb in vijf jaar tijd niet zo slecht gegeten, de porties zijn zelfs voor tapas extreem klein. Bediening was erg langzaam.. Ook hangt er een rare riool lucht door het restaurant. Na twee uur aan ondermaats eten.. als je het al eten mag noemen hebben we zelfs het toetje met chemische smaak laten staan. Kortom slechte bediening, vreselijk eten en een hele slechte prijs kwaliteit verhouding.

The food is tasty, good portions and they don't make a fuss if you order quite a few courses. The acoustics are a DRAMA, sometimes you can't hear the person you are eating with. The room has been like this acoustically for years, the staff agrees, which means that it will not be improved. When the restaurant also allows a group of 35 women to sit at one large long table, you feel like you're in a cackling chicken coop. If you come for a relaxed meal, you would do better to avoid this restaurant.

The attractive decoration, the extensive menu, the fast service, the delicious dishes and the incredibly friendly staff completed the surprise. Delicious food. We were often asked if we wanted something to drink even though our glasses were clearly still full. After we noticed this, things got better. The food is really good. Only I thought the cheesecake was too compact, like a stick of butter. The other deserts were very tasty.
