We had La Mia cater a colleague's farewell party. What a fantastic experience. Short notice, clear agreements. And then the execution. We arrived at the canteen, which had been transformed into an Italian restaurant. The food was fantastic, and we were pleasantly surprised by the presentation. And they were so relaxed. Expectations were greatly exceeded. Highly recommended!

The Bruschette miste is perhaps the best version I've ever had. The Spaghetti al Parmigiano is highly recommended! It's prepared tableside, just like the classic Tiramisu. And that little street in Santpoort-Noord; very cozy.

We had a lovely meal with a group of seven. Delicious wines and a selection of diverse dishes (including bruschetta, pasta, meat, and fish). The attentive and informal service matched the group's atmosphere perfectly—no fuss.

The food is very good, but we arrived at the time we had reserved. We weren't served quickly, so to speak, and it took us maybe 45 minutes to get our first course. Then we got second courses and dessert. Then they brought the coffee and liqueur we'd ordered, and the waiter, with the card machine, came to pay the bill and said, "I'll bring your coats." Wow, we hadn't even tasted the coffee and liqueur. Okay, it's a business model of timed tables, but this was incredibly rude. The other guests were waiting for their table, but who's supposed to manage their time properly? So that's a bad experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Chef's Menu last night. The welcome and service were extremely friendly. When one dish wasn't to our liking (we have a picky eater among us when it comes to texture), they very thoughtfully compensated by offering us something else. It wasn't necessary, but it was greatly appreciated. The atmosphere was lovely, the flavor combinations were a surprise, and it was a memorable evening, and we will definitely be back.

We ate here a few weeks ago, a 4-course chef's menu. For €48 per person, the first two courses for two were okay, but certainly not lavish. However, the main course (steak with side dish) and the dessert (cheesecake) were just as generous as if they were for one person. I think the steak for two was about 125 to 150 grams, and the dessert was completely unusual: just one small piece of cheesecake for the two of us. It would be especially strange if you weren't eating there as a couple, but as colleagues, for example, having to share everything from one plate. So, a shame all round; it was the first and last time for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed the high wine! Delicious wines and matching appetizers! It was also wonderful that the staff were able to explain everything about the wines and appetizers, and did so with genuine enthusiasm. Highly recommended.

I've been enjoying La Mia for years, often for the chef's menu with my friends. Unfortunately, my last visit wasn't as good. Despite informing me upon arrival that I was pregnant, they didn't take this into account. The appetizer platter was juxtaposed with meats and fish, and with the main course, I was offered halibut – a fish not recommended during pregnancy. When I mentioned this, I was initially told that "fish was allowed," and only after showing information from the ZwangerHap app was something else prepared. However, that alternative contained an egg yolk, which is also unsuitable. It's a shame, because the cuisine, service, and atmosphere are usually excellent. Hopefully, in the future, they'll pay more attention to guests with (medical) dietary requirements.

We had lunch here; almost every table was occupied, so we had to wait a long time for our order. Good coffee and reasonably priced lunch dishes.

In a word, fantastic. Superbly prepared. And served by extremely attentive and knowledgeable staff. There were five of us. We had lunch with dishes from the dinner menu: vitello tonnato, salad with gorgonzola and figs. Main course: ravioli filled with cod, tagliatelle, and spaghetti vongole. It's a long, narrow restaurant with simple tables. There's an adjacent area for lunch and dinner. Downtown Santpoort.

We went to La Mia based on positive reviews and were not disappointed. A wonderful atmosphere, the pasta with garlic and oil, and the tuna salad were both excellent. We were thrilled and will definitely return on our next vacation.

The guy who was standing alone wasn't very friendly. He served the wrong wine, and it ended up being two different sizes. Mine was only two fingers high, and my girlfriend's was four and a half fingers high. When I asked if I could have a little more, I couldn't because it was the right size. I also got the wrong dish, and then a tiramisu that was very large and sugarless, and tasted like it came straight from the fridge/freezer. Not fresh and very watery.

I recently had a garden party for my birthday and asked La Mia to cater the food. It was fantastic! The food was truly delicious! Beautiful antipasti platters, delicious breads, fantastic pastas, and the chicken gorgonzola was absolutely to-die-for! Luckily, we had plenty leftover, so we were able to enjoy it for a long time. The staff at La Mia were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was neatly presented and presented. We'll definitely be back in the future! Thank you so much 🙌🏻

Unfortunately, the chef's menu was disappointing: the dishes were too small, bland and there was too much time between courses. For us, definitely not worth repeating. We got an extra drink to make up for it. Too bad!

Ate here for the first time. Main course a piece of half-cooked salmon and 2 asparagus. Appetizer slices of veal. Drinks and coffee afterwards. 100 euros, very expensive for a meager meal. So won't be coming back. You can eat better and cheaper at your neighbors.

Very tasty food, nice wine and the restaurant is cozy. More attention could be paid to the presentation of the dishes. A white plate with a scoop of risotto on it doesn't look appetizing, but it could be improved. The open kitchen is also a nice idea, but it must be neat and clean. It's annoying when you, as a guest, look directly into the kitchen and there is a lot of rubbish on the floor. This does not contribute to a pleasant evening. Personally, I would remove this table and place a large plant. Is not a suitable table l.

The restaurant is not very big but it has a good atmosphere. Even on a Wednesday evening, all tables were occupied. The food (6 course chef's menu) was again very good. We have now eaten the 6-course chef's menu several times, but each time the courses were different. Also kudos to the service. Your coat will be neatly accepted and taken away upon arrival. Everything then goes according to the rules and etiquette at the table. At the right times they come to the table to inquire whether there is anything they can do to help. And when you leave, your own coat is neatly taken from upstairs. This restaurant is highly recommended unless you want a pizza, because they don't have any ;-)

Fine Italian cuisine with an eye for detail. Tasty burrata caponata and a robust osso bucco. Friendly staff, good wine, very tempting dessert platter. Very sweet pannacotta.

After great lunch, had dinner there once. Heavy downer. Not a 3rd time 🥶. The two of you get a spot along the walking path. Continuous heavy traffic. You don't get any rest. Only leftovers from other people, your clothes and a lot of wind. Not recommended. Despite several warnings, my wife still had lactose poisoning... nice weekend ruined!

Had vitello tonnato and osso buco. Plus Ripasso from Valpolicella. Very good food, great wine, service was great. Prices like in Germany, only significantly better food than at comparable Italian restaurants in Germany.

Cozy restaurant where we like to come. Recommend to book in advance. We had requested a spot near the kitchen, but an hour in advance we were told that this was not possible. A table at the entrance is not pleasant because of the cold (customers went outside to smoke and the door was therefore regularly open). In the middle of the restaurant there is an opening to the toilets. Unfortunately, it often smells like sewage here. Unfortunately, tenderloin, truffle pasta and Canonnau wine have been removed from the menu! Shame!

We ate at La Mia last week, it was an evening where you can sit at long tables and an unknown 5-course menu is served. The evening was nice, the food was good, music afterward was nice. I give 3 stars because I thought the food was expensive, about 83 p.p. I didn't think that was necessary.

Reserved online at 5:30 PM, we arrived at the location just after 5 and quickly found a parking spot, which can be difficult here, We were told in a cheerful manner that between 5 and 6:30 they do not allow guests, but for this time we were allowed in, We opted for the 6 course chef menu, Not our taste, but why does everything have to be served on 1 plate, with 3 of us, and 2 fish on 1 plate? bit weird. Service is good but speed was not really an option, The room is nicely decorated, but for people with hearing problems there is a lot of noise due to the crowds. We won't be back, but for many people this will be an ideal restaurant.

Beautiful space with a luxurious appearance. Nice staff, friendly and fast. Ordered 3 dishes. 2 meat dishes and a pasta. Delicious homemade pasta with bolognese sauce for my 9-year-old son. Described as a starter. But possibly enough for my son. The pasta was fresh and well done. Sauce was fine. Unfortunately everything is on the meager side in terms of quantity. 2 Other main courses were the veal medallion and the veal shank. Both had an excellent sauce that tasted very good. With the tarragon sauce as a highlight. Which was very tasty. Wonderfully soft shank. And a well-cooked medallion. Unfortunately, both seemed completely underseasoned. While the sauces were really tasty, the meat itself was very bland. The tomato sauce seemed to have been thrown on the shank without any love. And the herbal oil, which also tasted very good, was very sparse. And was dressed on top of the tomato sauce. Direct contact with the warm meat could have given the meat a little more flavor. I also find the €9.10 for a glass of sauvignon blanc very intense. Also between the reservation and dinner we were told 4 times the end time of our session, which sounded quite pushy. If a multi-course menu is offered, it seems to me that it is up to the kitchen and service to ensure that everything is served on time. So quite confused as to why this had to be mentioned so often. It could also be that other table guests may have spent too much time dining.

Very good lunch, cozy atmosphere and good service for a relatively nice price. Occasional break for conversation, we sat exactly at the height of the coffee bean grinder. That sometimes makes talking difficult for a few seconds. Otherwise, great, great. Worth repeating.

The annual truffle evening. Enjoyed a 6 course truffle dinner. We really enjoyed it because the fresh truffles were treated generously - even the white ones were generously grated over the fresh pasta. Correct and friendly service with a lot of knowledge about the dishes and ingredients.
