15 euros for a mini salami pizza, really rancid place, I also ordered to take away and it came cut and then it took another 10 minutes, I would definitely not eat here again

We ordered six pizzas to take away. The pizza cost €12, was the size of a normal hand, and came uncut. Cutting it took another ten minutes, and when the pizza arrived, it was cold. Absolutely not recommended.

Good place for dinner. Tasty food, good presentation, mid-range restaurant.

I ordered the tartufo porchini ravioli for main and tiramisu for dessert, both were lovely. The lady serving us was very friendly. Since I went in the early afternoon, reservation was not needed. I think the ambience is even better during the evening.

Very welcoming, whilst full we were offered the bar area. Menu has a good selection. Bar service and choice brilliant. Service friendly and efficient. I would recommend this if your in the blaak / rotterdam area.

It's worth visiting and eating at this Italian restaurant, good food and good service, prices are a bit expensive, but that's what you get in this area.

Had a fantastic dinner at Ristorante Napoli in Rotterdam. The truffle ravioli (Ravioli ai Funghi Porcini e Tartufo) was delicious—rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Paired it with a glass of Chardonnay, which was perfect. Great food, cozy vibe, and friendly service. Will definitely be back!

Lasagna left me cold. After it was heated up again, I got it back (not just for me). He wanted to take the beer away while it was still half full. Friendly service but pushy, hanging over you when serving and not to mention the prices, which are not in proportion to what you get. Experience was not pleasant. Shame!

Este no era un restaurante que apareció en mi lista de investigación para visitar Rotterdam. Mi marido lo encontró por suerte buscando en lo que estaba cerca de donde estábamos para echar un vistazo y beber esa noche. No habíamos reservado y apareció en la oportunidad de una mesa. Creo que debimos haber tenido suerte con nuestro tiempo ya que el restaurante se llenó rápidamente. ¿Qué puedo decir, la comida y el vino – simplemente increíble. No soy un gran comedor de carne, sin embargo compartimos una tabla de charcutería para comenzar, creo que me comí la mayoría!!! Teníamos pasta para el plato principal, tengo que decir que mi pasta fue cocinada a la perfección. Quién hubiera pensado que obtendría mi mejor pasta en Rotterdam en lugar de Nápoles. No podría haber disfrutado más de mi velada, la comida era fantástica, sin embargo también lo era el servicio, amable, rápido (no demasiado rápido) y atento. Volvería por más en un santiamén.

Nice pizzeria on the busy Meent. When the weather is nice, there is also a terrace outside. Reservations are definitely recommended: always busy later in the evening. Very good food and good service

Dit was de beste ervaring in heel mijn leven bij een restaurant tot nu toe! Snelle bediening, eten stond er binnen de 10 minuten, goede wijnen! Heel vriendelijke service, wel wat lawaai maar dat maakt de gezellige sfeer, eten was uitstekend! Limoncello ook heel lekker. Zeker om terug te komen!

One of the places that have surprised us the most lately in Rotterdam. Very good food quality, for a reasonable price. In our case we ordered Tartufo ravioli, lasagna and spaghetti ragù, everything was very good. The visit is recommended.

18 euros for a Pizza Margherita?!

Cené aquí solo mientras trabajaba en Rotterdam. El restaurante era muy servicial a pesar de que no había reservado y estaba muy ocupado! ¿Por dónde empiezo... la comida era increíble! 5 * y mejor de lo que esperaba. El personal era muy amable y no podía hacer lo suficiente por mí. La comida era rápida y excelente servicio. Si alguna vez estoy en Rotterdam de nuevo sin duda volveré!

I had made a reservation for 7 people, and we had to wait outside for half an hour because there was no room. The complication was really bad too!!

Lekkerste en verste italiaan van Rotterdam! Nu twee keer naartoe geweest en ben van plan om vaker te gaan. De pasta is heerlijk al dente en de pizza heerlijk knapperig, echt de moeite waard!

We accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant but we are mega happy. Italy in Rotterdam! Delicious pizza, sometimes I haven't eaten such in Italy, carbonara delicious!!! Service and atmosphere like in Italy, cozy, loud, cheerful, you can feel the temperament of the Italian owner and service! We will definitely go back there!

I've eaten at this restaurant before, it was better then. The pizza base was soft in the middle, the pasta with lobster was strangely warm. The wine was good. The service was flirting with each other. And I know (certainly for this price) a much better Italian restaurant, but it's not in the center.

It was very delicious food and coctails in general. Osso buco pasta was my fav, at least you can try as a side. Wish it was free limoncello at least

The food was decent but did not blow me away. The reason for giving 2 stars: the waitress knocked over my bottle of sparking water. My glass shattered on the ground and I lost about 1/3 of the overpriced water. Her immediate reaction wasn’t to apologize (my pants got soaked), she ran away looking really embarrassed to get a broom to clean up. I was not compensated, the restaurant still charged me for the water which I found surprising. I didn’t bother to haggle over the bill since I was on a business trip and my company is paying anyway. I was shocked the restaurant didn’t offer anything complimentary to make up for it. I wouldn’t have gone out of my way to write this negative review if the restaurant offered me a small dessert or didn’t charge me for the water.

It was warm atmosphere and delicious. Recommended.

Het eten smaakte goed maar de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is in dit restaurant niet op orde. De gangen werden ook veel te snel na elkaar opgediend. En het is niet bijzonder veel. Je staat zo weer buiten, dus volledig ongeschikt om met iemand zakelijk bij te praten. Jammer want dit was niet zo.

Mijn maat woont hier in de buurt en gaat hier van jongs af aan naartoe. Hij is over dit restaurant al jaren te spreken. We hebben hier heer lekker gegeten. Een minpunt was dat al het eten en drinken wel heel snel kwam. We hadden een beetje het idee dat ze ons zo snel mogelijk weg wilde hebben, zodat ze nog een keer de tafel aan andere gasten kwijt konden geraken.

I was hoping that this Italian restaurant would be a bit more authentic, but alas. The food was mediocre. Risotto was very bland. I don't expect Michelin design, but how the Lasagna was served made no sense. The only positive was that the portions were large. Service was fine, but to me it had the same atmosphere as an Italian fast food chain. Old-fashioned room with far too bright lights that apparently cannot be dimmed. I didn't think €110 for 2 people was worth it.

Wanted to get some good and authentic Italian food, this seemed to be the right place! Saw this place had decent reviews so my partner and I checked it out. It was a Thursday evening but quite busy but luckily we had a reservation that was made online. After a few minutes wait, we were seated. Started off ordering a glass of white wine and an Ichnuso which is beer from Sardinia. For food we ordered a Napoli Pizza (capers, achovies, tomato sauce) and the Gnocchi con Gorgonzola, Noci e Pere. Both dishes were nice and paired well with the drinks. The employees were really nice as well. Only downside is this restaurant can get a bit loud, not too bad but just something to note.

Maybe it’s because the restaurant is very noisy on weekends, and it’s difficult to make bar chairs. The fried spaghetti has no salt at all and has no salty taste. The bacon in the egg yolk bacon noodles has not been fried at all. It tastes like bacon but not fragrant enough. , the pasta doesn’t have the smell of bacon. Anyway, I haven’t eaten such terrible egg yolk bacon noodles for a long time. The ice cream at affogato is just mediocre. The service attitude is not bad. After the checkout, I stood there waiting for my coat. Wait for a long time, don’t push

There is rarely a restaurant where I give the full five stars, but Napoli on the Meent deserves it! We had to wait a long time for a place/table, but that doesn't matter. We were served very well and kindly. The food tasted very good. The service is not only nice, but also friendly. You notice the passion among the staff and you notice that with taste. Definitely recommended and hope to visit again!

We have eaten here three times now and all three times it was great. Service is extremely experienced, friendly and fast. Little things like a basket of bread and olive oil immediately on the table, refilling your glasses or nice advice about food/drink makes it one of my favorite restaurants in Rotterdam. Main courses only start at around 20 euros, but the price/quality ratio is simply great. Also, not all staff speak Dutch, but that didn't bother me at all. Definitely go!

Delicious meal at Napoli, atmosphere, service. Really like in Italy. As always. I love the lobster pasta. Delicious!! I had indicated in my previous review that from now on I would like to know that a bottle that is recommended is a bit more expensive. To my surprise the owner just called me, it was due to a misunderstanding. The wrong bottle was accidentally opened and the amount was immediately refunded. Thank you very much Napoli, see you soon. What I find really unique about Restaurant Napoli is their long history; they have been a household name in Rotterdam since 1971. This family business has been running on the love of Italian cuisine for more than fifty years, and you can taste that in every dish. When I recently dined at Napoli, I was immediately impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The interior radiates the authenticity of Italy, without feeling too artificial or touristy. This is a place where you really feel welcome, as if you are sitting at the table with family. The menu offers a nice mix of classic and seasonal dishes. I chose the Scaloppine al Limone, and the dish was simply delicious. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned, with a delicious lemon sauce that really took it to the next level. My dining companion had the pasta alla Carbonara, and it too was exactly as it should be: creamy, rich and with the perfect amount of bacon. What also struck me is that they really pay attention to the quality of their ingredients here. The flavors are pure and fresh, which is unfortunately not always self-evident in many restaurants these days. If you are looking for an authentic Italian dining experience in the heart of Rotterdam, Restaurant Napoli is definitely recommended. They have really mastered the art of Italian cooking, and you can taste it in every bite.

One of the best pizza i ever ate, perfect cooked, the dought is so tasty that you can eat it without toppings, pasta carbonara in italian style so so good, good panacotta and tiramisu, and afogatto with grapa is amazing, service was perfect.I had a perfect day with my daughter, mother and nice,they made our day amazing…thank you for all!!!PS:you are the best, we will return for sure!☝️🙏

Stopped by here with my wife and my little girl, we were really hungry especially my kid, ALL tables were empty except two, they did not let us in. The guy said (impolitely) they only accept customers with a reservation.. Really weird.. Never gonna stop here again.

A mis hijos les encanta la comida italiana, lo que el niño no... Decidimos que fuera una comida de lujo en Rotterdam y el Ristorante Napoli lo hizo todo posible. El restaurante es muy atractivo por dentro y acogedor. Todo el personal era muy feliz, atento e hizo nuestra cena aún más agradable. La comida era excepcional! Tuvimos varios aperitivos y en particular nos gustó la berenjena. Mi hija tiene un plato de raviolis y mi hijo una pizza. Ambos excelentes (ojalá pudiera hacer masa de pizza así). Mi esposa se fue con un clásico tagliatelle y yo conseguí un increíble ravioli de hongos con porcino y un aceite de trufa ligera! La panna cotta redondeó la noche... bueno eso y las bebidas y el vino. Mis hijos, a toda la familia le encantó! Espero que tengamos la oportunidad de volver en el futuro. ¡Muchas gracias! Muy recomendable!

The Shrimp Penne which was recommended by restaurant staff was so good, and it was not on the menu.

I recently dined at this place, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The ambiance is incredibly relaxed, making it the perfect spot for a laid-back evening with friends or family. The food is simply exquisite. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor, but the pizzas truly stood out. The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff. One minor drawback is that the water is not complimentary and comes at a steep price.

A lovely place at meent where I went for a late lunch. I'm giving them all stars because the balance of price, ambience, taste, quality and service was done right. The service was pleasant, my server knew her stuff and listened well and suggested lovely food. The food itself came fresh, smelt and tasted delicious and was presented nicely. For starters I was served bread within minutes of settling down and the server made a heavenly mix of extra virgin olive oil, balsamic and a pinch of salt for the dip and it was soo goood. The pizza was really nice though some would add salt or something for that bit of flavor, I used some crushed black pepper. The panno cotta had the right texture and was the right amount of sweet for me and the mint, strawberry and the jam all seemed on point. Can't wait to visit again and try the pasta, ravioli and risotto amongst other things. On my 2nd visit I had the Burrata Caprese and the veggie of the day was mushrooms. I chose this heavenly strawberry based cocktail for my drink. The experience was fantastic. The burrata was not very creamy in the centre but the quality was fine. The mushrooms were prolly amongst the best I've had in a very long time and the cocktail, bread and the other stuff was top notch. On my 4th or some other visit I went for the simple spaghetti with mushroom and it was divine. The wine was on point and the cocktails were really nice too.

Delicious food in a restaurant where the Italian service provides that extra bit of Neapolitan vibes. I had the Calzone Frito myself and it was really delicious! To finish, a tiramisu. In Italy itself it is often not as tasty as here. A small tip is to order a tiramisu together as a couple. The tiramisu is difficult to finish all by yourself, even for big eaters.

I would like to write a review about my recent experience at your restaurant. The food was excellent and I really have no complaints about the quality of the dishes. However, there was a small hiccup: even though I had a reservation and arrived right on time, I had to wait at the door for an available table. Furthermore, the service was excellent. Everything went at a relaxed pace, the dishes tasted excellent and the wine was of high quality. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.

Food is great, service is deteriorating. Very pushy. If you don't finish your food yet, put the plate away and immediately offer a drink if you want something to drink. Food comes out way too quickly, even though we emphatically said we didn't WANT this! For that reason we also wanted to order the main course later, but this was not necessary. If you sit in the walking path, you will be very uncomfortable. People bump into you all the time. After 40 minutes we were outside again and 100 euros lighter. Very rushed and stressed. far too many staff walking around constantly looking at your table. not a nice experience, sorry

I personally think it's going backwards. Been coming here for years and the food is top notch. I just find it very intrusive. Your plate is taken away very quickly, drinks are on your lip. In some places you are in a very unfavorable position, so people bump into you all the time. Far too many staff walking around, it all feels very rushed. We were outside after 40 minutes. Food arrived far too quickly, even though we expressly stated that we did not want to order our main course because of this, but this did no harm. After the starter, the main course was on the table 7 minutes later. All in all, food good, would advise a window table but I wouldn't come back this way. I have done this twice now and it was not a pleasant experience and a waste of my money.

Best Italian restaurant in Rotterdam. The food here is amazing. I can only recommended the risotto salsiccia e vino, on top of which they grate fresh Parmesan at your table! The atmosphere is very cozy (though it can get a bit loud), and the service is impeccable, with very friendly Italian waiters. However the restaurant isn’t on the cheap side, but it’s totally worth it. When we arrived with our reservation, they let us know that two of their cooks were out sick, and hence it was busier than usual. They sat us at the bar for a drink in the meantime, and offered us a bruschetta on the house to apologise for the wait. Very nice :)

Bellissima! Delicious authentic food. Chosen for choice*fish. Everything to perfection!! Other guests had a mix and also enjoyed it and the wine arrangement that came with it was also perfectly matched to the food by the hostess. I would advise one meat person to stick to meat and not take the mix option ;) I did find it a bit busy inside and people sometimes shouted over each other, but all in all a nice atmosphere, a little less cramming creates a more pleasant ambiance.

I don't easily give 5 stars, but Napoli is more than worth it! Pizzas are airy, soft, but also firm. Not too much craziness, and just super tasty. The vitello tonnato was also delicious, a bit on the salty side, but otherwise very good!

I think Napoli is expensive...I think the staff is nice...I think the food is good...Napoli is indeed not one of the cheapest restaurants in Rotterdam, perhaps because they are located on the Meent and there you pay A- prices to rental costs.... the staff generally consists of very nice people who even say hello when you walk past their terrace.... I think the atmosphere is a bit less, perhaps due to the large number of tourists who are tired of searching in this establishment has collapsed....the one complaint I had was not handled well, but that is probably because it was very busy....it is almost always busy.... I wonder if they will give the older establishment a I'll update sometime...would be nice...go eat there and decide for yourself if I'm right...

We had another great time at Napoli- I think it is getting even better that shen we first visited several years ago. The staff are greta and work together like a well oiled machine- all were very friendly. I had the saltimbuca which was amazing- so flavorful, I chose the risotto as a side which was good but nothing special. My husband had the 4 course tasting menu which he very much enjoyed. Staff suggested a lovely wine to go with which was very good! I'd definitely recommend reservations as it is small and fills up quickly.

Ver onder de maat! Voor bijna 75 per persoon een verrassingsmenu gegeten en kwam thuis met honger. Een simpel plakje aubergine met een plakje tomaat erop en wat kaas als voorgerecht. Stukje vlees van hooguit 80 gram wat voor ossenhaas moest doorgaan maar het niet was (mijn man is slager). Niet eens groenten erbij. En als toetje een bolletje ijs met een beetje slagroom en 2 karige plakjes aardbei. Dit was het zeker niet waard. Op de bon stond een drankje te veel en tot mijn 'verrassing' was er voor het verrassingsmenu € 49 gerekend terwijl op de website € 46 staat. Mij zien ze hier niet meer. Dan geef ik mijn geld liever uit in een restaurant waar ik iets bijzonders krijg voor dat geld.
