I rarely start a review so directly, but I think this restaurant really deserves a mention. When I walked in, I immediately felt welcome. That might sound simple, but for me, it's important; I love it when a restaurant feels a bit like stepping into a familiar place, even if it's your first time. The service was friendly, attentive, and present at just the right moment. You can just tell when people enjoy their work, and that immediately adds a sense of calm to the evening. The chicken schnitzel on the teppan was exactly what I'd hoped for: tender, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The lamb chop was wonderfully tender and full of flavor, and the sushi was remarkably fresh and neatly rolled. I always pay attention to that, as I hate sushi that's been sitting around for a while, but here you could taste that everything was truly fresh. My alcohol-free cocktail was a pleasant surprise: refreshing, nicely balanced, and not overly sweet. Just perfect. The dessert completed the meal: light, flavorful, and not too heavy, and I was especially pleased with the pandan cake, which was wonderfully light and had a delicate, soft flavor. A small detail perhaps, but for me, it was a real winner. What struck me most was how genuinely the staff spoke to you. No rehearsed lines, just genuine interest. I really appreciate that. I went home with a warm and satisfied feeling. This is one of those places I'll definitely return to.

Pros: Delicious food, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. I would definitely come back. Plenty of options, and the dishes arrived very quickly. Ordering was also very easy with the iPad. The mocktails were delicious. The restrooms were also reasonably clean. The chairs were comfortable. It was quiet, not loud at all. Cons: It was difficult to find parking.

I stumbled upon Rosarium and had no regrets. Despite being busy, the food arrived quickly. Delicious food, friendly staff. Free parking is a plus.

The food was truly delicious. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. The sushi was especially great; you can taste the freshness of the fish. The salmon and teriyaki were our favorites, and those sauces… they were so good. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, nothing to complain about. We'll definitely be back.

Almost forgot to post, but from the moment we walked in, it felt great. The interior was modern and atmospheric with a beautiful view of the park. A cozy vibe, great music, and everything was very relaxed—exactly what you want when dining out with friends. The food was fantastic. The sushi was super fresh and the teppan/wok dishes were perfectly prepared, truly restaurant-quality, where you can really taste the quality. Everything arrived on time, and each dish was beautifully presented and uniquely flavorful. You can tell they cook with care here, and that makes all the difference. The service was friendly, relaxed, and attentive to our wishes. No rush, no stress, just good service with a smile. And you're in good hands when it comes to drinks, with a wide selection of wines, cocktails (including non-alcoholic), beer, and more. We were even allowed to stay a bit longer, which made the evening even more enjoyable. We finished with coffee and desserts with a very wide selection, including macarons, various cakes, fruit, ice cream, and FRESH whipped cream from the machine, and all! And of course, some pleasant conversation. In short, delicious food, a relaxed atmosphere, top-notch service, and a place you'll want to return to. Found it through social deal. We had high hopes because it had a 9.2 rating. It's bound to be a beautiful setting in the summer, but when we arrived, it was already dark. The female staff was very friendly and kind, but the young man walking around didn't seem to speak a word of Dutch or English. The downsides (in our opinion) were that everything had the same sauce and the dessert buffet wasn't very impressive. They also had the standard items you'd find at a regular wok. The upsides were that the food was nice and hot, they had tasty non-alcoholic cocktails, and the service was quick. I especially enjoyed the steak. You don't have to walk for your food; you order three dishes per round via a tablet. You can only help yourself to dessert. The parking lot was also a bit small for such a large restaurant, but it might have been because it was already getting dark when we arrived. We were there on a Monday, so it was quiet, but I think they're definitely full on weekends. A bit too standard for us, but it was certainly a pleasant experience.

Had a wonderful meal with a large group. We used a tablet to choose our own food. No hassle like with all-you-can-eat restaurants, like everyone having to queue past a buffer and bumping into you. Or having to join a queue while your steak was being cooked. Place your order, and your food was on the table in no time. Fantastic.

Well, well, well, make sure you're seated before reading this (I've never experienced this in any restaurant before..). I went here for dinner once. I ordered a nice coffee at the end because I was craving it, but I'd asked for 6 sugar packets with it because I have a sweet tooth (I got it from my grandmother 🙈). Mind you, no one at the table had had tea or coffee yet, only me. So I ordered my coffee with 6 sugar packets. A server came up to me, "Madam, about your order? Is it correct that you ordered 6 sugar packets?" I said, "Yes, that's correct." Ma'am, "Oh, then it's 0.50 cents extra for each extra packet you order." (So I would get one free, I would have to pay for the other 5.) I said, "Huh, but what?!" Again, I've never experienced this anywhere else. I said, "Okay, but they (the group I was with, a total of four people) didn't order tea or coffee. Can I get their sugar?" The lady said, "No, unfortunately, that's not possible." I've never been back since. It's not about the payment, it's about the fact that they're completely unwilling to accommodate you and just keep saying no. I think that's really poor service, and the way the lady spoke wasn't friendly at all. I'll never ever go back here. And people, be prepared: if you have more than one sugar in your tea or coffee, bring sugar from home!

Hands down the best all u can eat buffet. Better than any we tried in germany aswell. Very fresh sashimi, creative menues, quick and polite service and good consept with the ordering via tablet. 10/10 would come to den haag again just to eat here

You pay for the time you eat, and the selection was plentiful, with something for everyone. Small dishes were served quickly. The dessert bar also had a wide selection.

I think even one star for service is too much. As a guest, I gave up on going outside for a cigarette. I went inside and wanted to use the restroom, but was stopped by a very antisocial woman and refused to go. I told her I was a guest and had already eaten. I had to point to where I was sitting, and she walked me to the table to confirm that I was a restaurant guest. A very unfriendly, rude, and rather aggressive woman.

The food quality is excellent. The formula works well, with a maximum of three dishes per order, and sometimes a long wait for your favorite. Drinks aren't included, so that's the business model.

I passed this restaurant today while walking and, visibly pregnant, desperately needed to pee. I was refused (by a woman, no less) and absolutely refused to use the restroom, despite offering to pay. Refusing to let a pregnant woman pee… inhumane and misogynistic in my opinion. Shame on you.

I placed an order for 4:00 PM, but the restaurant was closed until 5:00 PM. I was knocked on the door and ignored by a young woman on staff four times, even when she did check on me and I called her. I then called out of sight, spoke briefly, and then hung up after saying, "Wait!" About 10 minutes later, she came out and, without saying a word, shoved a bag in my hands. I asked her for an explanation, but it was to no avail. The sushi/food was also subpar, with tons of sauce on top. Everything tasted the same. We will never be back.

It's a shame that almost everything comes with sauce and you can't change it. There should be a choice to change it. Not everyone likes the sauce on it. The food itself is good. When you order, one person might have already finished their meal, while another still needs to get it. It's better to serve each table's order at once, not in separate portions. Regarding the wok, some dishes have too much, while others have too little. It's better to go back to the old "help yourself" concept.

Really antisocial/bad service... my 3-year-old daughter really, really needed to pee... she was just sent to the door... I really don't think that's acceptable. I've never written a bad review, but this really upsets me, especially since it's just a child.

The location is beautiful, everything looks nice. However, there was a staff shortage (the place was two-thirds full and I saw a maximum of three waitresses), which meant everything took quite a while, and we were therefore somewhat overlooked. I also found the desserts and cocktails very disappointing. (8 out of 10 desserts tasted awful.) And the cocktail proportions were incorrect, and one cocktail contained a main ingredient that wasn't listed on the menu. On the positive side: The staff were respectful, and many dishes tasted good. Conclusion: I won't eat here again, but it wasn't a bad experience.

Fantastic food, would visit again

We were here with a large group to celebrate my brother's 70th birthday. Due to the bad reviews, we went there with mixed feelings. We don't understand what the bad reviews were based on, we had a very good experience. The service people were very nice without exception, the ordered dishes were brought very quickly, the used dishes were constantly removed. There was enough choice and the dishes were all very tasty, except one, why on earth do they sprinkle powdered sugar on sweet potato fries, that was really not tasty. Tip: if you think powdered sugar should be added, serve it separately. For the rest, nothing but praise.

Terrible. It felt like all the food came from the freezer. No taste. Very disappointed. The good thing is that we know never to eat here again.

We came with a group of 38 adults and mostly children. This restaurant was easily able to accommodate us. The location, while off the beaten path, was perfect as the kids could play nearby after dinner. The food experience was also wonderful. Instead of being stuck with one dish, one could sample many delicious foods, so that there was something for everyone.

Had dinner here last night, after reading the very mixed reviews. Because of the beautiful location, we decided to try it ourselves and unfortunately it was very disappointing. With all-you-can-eat you don't expect top quality, but this was really below all expectations. With sushi, the rice is very important and says a lot about the quality: unfortunately the rice was like a wet lump. The rice tasted as if it wasn't fresh. Unfortunately, that also applied to the meat: it all tasted as if it came from the freezer. We also ordered the salad with beef, in the picture it looks nice with sauce and sesame seeds. The reality, however, turned out to be meat that had been fried for too long, gray in color, without sauce and a few stray sesame seeds. The gyoza also tasted as if it came from the freezer. The carpaccio was not a nice red, but pink and the taste was unfortunately not great either. The chicken satay sticks had a peanut sauce without much flavor and full of peanut pieces, but unfortunately this also tasted like not homemade, but reheated sauce from a bag. That also applied to the dessert buffet. The mini tompouces had no bite and little taste. That also applied to the spekkoek. The macarons, on the other hand, tasted okay. I thought there was soft ice cream, but it turned out to be a whipped cream dispenser. The ice cream flavors weren't really great either. The staff varied. Most were nice and friendly, a few were curt. There was an Asian lady who was very sweet, also to our 8-month-old daughter. At one point, plates with new dishes were brought, but the old plates were not taken, which meant that there was a considerable pile on our table, which was not ideal in terms of space. More attention should be paid to that. In short: I hope that this review is read by the owner and the staff. The location and the service deserve better and tastier food than what is offered. In any case, we will not be back, unless a significant improvement in the quality of the food is made. Too bad about the beautiful location and the friendly staff!

They have really great food here and a choice for everyone and it's not even that expensive. I come here often and I will definitely come back here in the future. I ate here with a group this week and 3 of us had food poisoning. I contacted the owner but they were so rude instead of understanding. The Polish employee who helped us was also very unfriendly. Ate here for the first and also the last time!!!

Walking in the rose garden we found a burnt out aluminium bbq. We took it with us and put it by the trash can of the restaurant. Then I was addressed in a very unfriendly way by a waitress who was completely unhelpful and did not want to listen. Her last, extremely rude, remark was: 'Get out of here'! That is not how you treat each other, especially not with people who are trying to keep the place clean. Very unprofessional. Too bad.

I enjoyed the meal, although there were a few dishes that were less to my taste. I would go back again.

The food is very fresh and you don't have to wait long before it arrives. Ordering is easy via a tablet. And the staff is very friendly. I often come here when I want to eat out so I definitely recommend a visit to the rosarium restaurant.

Nice restaurant, nice menu and nice concept. There is nothing wrong with the food, but there is a lot of the same sauce with the meat dishes. Price is reasonable, only the drink price is very high. Spending €35 on water with your family?! And dishes are generally on the salty side, so you get thirsty quickly. Definitely worth repeating.

we came here for the first time. what a relaxed atmosphere and pleasant service. The menu has many nice meat dishes, some of which are really good, but the menu is less extensive in sushi. The vegetarian choice is also somewhat smaller. The dishes are authentic and of excellent quality. The dessert buffet is also excellent. We will definitely come back here.

Wasn't greeted with a smile upon arrival. No instructions. Not an extensive menu. A lot of the same and everything tastes the same because of the sauce that is poured on almost every dish. Dessert is not replenished, it's gone. No mood music, creating a sepulchral atmosphere. I wanted to take a few macarons with me because I wanted to walk around the park at sunset. I was called a thief. She wanted to blackmail me by imposing a fine of 100 euros. I refused and indicated that I would eat them at the table. She threatened me that she would distribute camera images via social media that supposedly showed that I had stolen food lol (couple of macarons). When my husband got angry about this, she behaved like the victim and called the police. As if it couldn't get any crazier, she had locked the front door so that neither we nor the guests still inside could go out until the police arrived. Who in turn of course understood that it was nothing and we could just go home. What disgusting people who work there and don't even speak ABN properly!!!

Recently had dinner at this restaurant and would not recommend anyone to eat there. The food was too salty and covered in sauce. Every dish we chose was served with the same sauce. I asked if they could leave out the sauce but that was not possible. Afterwards I understood why that was. Because of that sauce you are forced to drink a lot and that was not exactly cheap. The waitress also forgot to bring things we ordered a few times. In short, the service was also terrible. Don't be fooled by the free parking because it is not worth your money.

Vreselijk! Ik had moeten uitgaan van al de negatieve beoordelingen! Al het eten smaakte hetzelfde doordat dezelfde saus over zowat ieder gerecht gegoten wordt. Je wordt er snel misselijk van. Voor drinken betaal je de hoofdprijs. Geen sfeermuziek wat de attitude van het personeel echt niet goed doet. Grafstemming. Weinig grillkeuze. Het toetje is zelfservice, maar werd niet aangevuld. Dus als het op is, heb je pech. Absoluut geen aanrader!

Great location in Westbroekpark. We celebrated the birthday of my sister here on a Saturday afternoon. Lots of seatings. The food can be easily ordered using the tablet. The service is quite fast. The food quality however is not really consistent. I found the tuna in the sushis a little bit grayish, while the ones with eel on them were quite good. I also enjoyed the grilled dishes, yet the soups were not really tasty. The peking duck was deep-fried and quite dry. Overall, it was OK, but I know it can be better.

My #1 restaurant, hand rolls, eby fry & spicy tuna sushi and whitefish in sweet and sour sauce wow. Been coming here for years and never disappointed. The staff is just polite and will bring your food quite quickly, even when it's busy.

We had dinner here on Saturday February 8 How much has this restaurant deteriorated, many dishes were cold, we said this a few times and then it was said okay, they can hardly understand much, no Dutch, slip sole was raw on the inside, shrimps were cold, really sin steak was tough, really a waste of money, our little man went outside to play since everything was cold and the meat was really tough, I certainly do not recommend this restaurant

A REAL RECOMMENDED!!!!! super rude "received" by staff!! kindness is hard to find and has been experienced more often by them. but now that they no longer have a buffet, so you are faced with grumpy staff, we left. It was also said that the children would be better off sharing food because if they left food out, we would have to pay extra for it. but pay the full price. WE WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!!
