Amazing Roti tofu tempe! Quite expensive, but every now and then it's worth it ;)

Ordered here for the first time today and didn't regret it! I thought the roti was absolutely delicious!! And the food was nice and hot.

Very bad, everything from the microwave, roti tough as the soles of shoes, the rest very tasteless. Never again

I have never seen such a bad place as this. Prices are ridiculous, the roti is not fresh (frozen), the owner is super mean, and completely unfriendly to customers. Charging almost 25 euros for a meal from the freezer. It is also not hygienic; I saw an orange sticker with a date from 4 days ago in the display case, and I read that there were multiple investigations here by the Food and Drug Authority, after which multiple warnings were issued! All in all, the worst place in Zoetermeer, if not the whole of the Netherlands.

I totally don't understand the reviews about bad food, so that's why I'm writing this review. I order here every once in a while, and was shocked by the recent bad reviews. But as usual, it was top-notch again 👍

The roti roll was freaking amazing 10/10 loved it size, taste everything was perfect!!

Waited almost 2 hours for the food. After an hour and a half, I just called myself. The food was bland and tasteless.

Bought a special chicken roti for €18. There was little chicken on it, little long beans, and a lot of potato. A shame.

Would have liked more meat or chicken with the large portion of bami with meat. Pay 20 euros to get enough meat and not almost just bami.

I'm sorry, but this is terrible! The food is unbearable. I tried it for the second time because there's no roti place anywhere nearby, but honestly, this is so bad. If they could do it right, it would be a great addition to Rokkeveen, even if it were renovated. I wouldn't give it a chance. The owner has absolutely no idea how to make food. But he wants the euros and the ridiculous prices.

Because it's in my neighborhood, I regularly get roti here for the family. I never gave it a 10, but it was good enough for when I didn't feel like cooking. Over the past two or three months, the taste has really deteriorated (although the price has improved), which is a shame. The last two times were so disappointing that I won't go again. Next time, I'll drive a bit further for a roti I actually like.

I was here this week and ordered a pom sandwich. I've never had such a bad sandwich. This wasn't pom. No flavor, no texture, nothing. Moreover, the so-called pom tasted fishy. I threw it away immediately. And they dare charge €6.40 for it. Terrible. This is absolutely not Surinamese food and is an insult. I should have checked the reviews for this store sooner. Next time, I'll just wait in line at Reas. At least there you get what you order.

My order was canceled for no reason. Why haven't I received my refund after 3 days? PLEASE REFUND PEOPLE WITHIN 24 HOURS. THAT'S THE GOOD THING. 🤌

Very disappointing experience, actually got sick from the food

The food here is truly awful! The service is terrible, and I get a woman behind the counter who is mean, gives you strange looks, and on top of that, gossips about other customers while I'm in the store. The food is practically tasteless and not up to par. The prices are also absolutely ridiculous. 4 euros for a can of Coke! And then they have the nerve to give me a dry and old roti that you know isn't fresh. I'm never coming back!!

The food is fantastic, the service, the food stays hot and the people who work there are always customer friendly and the atmosphere is always nice.

The food is old, frozen, and tasteless. The staff is rude, even saying the food is overpriced and inauthentic. They even suggested we get drinks at the Albert Heijn next door! All the food is frozen, and it's not fresh and old.

Expensive, bad, and few. I've tried it a few times now, but this is terrible. Ugh, go to Toko Wardi and the difference is clear.

I'm a regular customer at Roti Center Rokkeveen. I get roti there once every two weeks. Today I also got roti. Once I got home, I unpacked it. To my surprise and disappointment, I found a Madurodam-sized container. I got half the size I usually get. The container is also a different size than usual. I paid for the same amount as usual, but received half the size.

I ordered roti for the umpteenth time today. When I got home, I couldn't believe my eyes. Half a portion for the same price as always. Truly embarrassingly small. The chicken was too watery, and the water made up the weight. I got a different-sized container for the same price😡😡😡. Just keep doing this until you run out of customers.

Delicious! The hot chicken sandwich was nice and spicy, even though it wasn't officially open yet, we were helped anyway. Great service and quality. - adjustment 5/5/25 . I often drive specifically from The Hague to Zoetermeer for the tastiest sandwiches in the region.

Sadly, typical of Zoetermeer! Crime is deteriorating everything! Tattooed twerps are filling up! You pay a fortune here for a tiny container that you get back! Our order was extremely spicy, even though it was instructed to take that into account. We're really upset! Never again!

Scammers, I just placed an order for 62 euros. I received a message via home delivery that I would receive the order at 6:50 PM. Then the delivery person arrives here half an hour early, while I'm in the shower, and he leaves. Roti Center does not come up with a solution, they are not willing to deliver and I can't even pick it up. I was scammed for 62 euros by this party. I advise everyone against ordering from this party!!

The roti is quite tasty…. Not very special. They needed extra bean sprouts and they got them from the jumbo. The authentic feeling was therefore somewhat less. Very on the pricey side. It is not very inviting to sit and eat. For 2 people you will spend at least 30 euros.

Always delicious sandwiches, prepared quickly and friendly service. Deserved winner of various Thuisbezorgd awards.

Get soto ayam and a bara here. Very tasty.

Nice and tender meat on the sandwiches. They are also well invested. Not the cheapest but tasty. Friendly staff.

Food was good but small portions for what it costs

We both had a rissolle. And 2 cans of soda. Were 2 young women who helped us. But we were talking more than asking what we wanted to eat/or drink. We had to pay €16.50. Is too much for what you get.

If you like real Surinamese food, DO NOT ORDER HERE! I don't even know where to start, it was that bad. I would love to give it no stars, but unfortunately that is not possible. The soto was very bland, no taste of herbs at all. It seems as if this company is in such a crisis that they are adding water to everything. The order came with small containers of sambal. The red was just tomato sauce, no spice in sight. The yellow madam jeanette was watery and not spicy either. Even 2 whole bowls over my food doesn't make it spicy. I think the sour cucumber was the worst part of the entire order. This tasted like cucumber with sugar and turmeric, but left out the vinegar. The hot chicken sandwich was also really dirty, it tasted like (Dutch) Chinese babi pangang sauce with pieces of chicken in it. Who came up with this?!? The people who make this food have no idea at all about Surinamese cuisine. This company is completely screwed up.

The sandwiches were very soggy, the chicken curry was so salty that it didn't even taste like chicken curry, and it wasn't chicken fillet but made from chicken thigh, as you can tell by the fat and the stiffness, I think it looks like there is a stiff outer layer around the chicken thigh and we had ordered 5 sandwiches, which are packed in aluminum foil in a plastic bag, costs 0.30 euro cents, that is what the government has to do, and then they also charge 0.50 euro cents in plastic tax while everything is packed in aluminum foil, I call them and they start a discussion instead as it should be, sorry sir, you are right, you had no plastic containers or cups, only a bag for which you paid 0.30 euro cents, so I ended the discussion and immediately said this was the last time I order or pick up food here and then I was suddenly able to get my 0.50 euro cents back. what is actually my point, they make you pay for something that is not correct, suppose if they do that for 15 customers per day at the cash register, they wrongly collect 7.50 euros, which 6 days a week is 45 euros x 52 weeks is 2340 euros per year at the cash register, or scammer practices

Very tasty, we had the noodles with shrimps and the nasi with chicken fillet soy sauce, worth repeating!

I often get my food at roti center. I recommend this place to everyone because the service is good and the food is fresh and well prepared!

The food is delicious, really great! Already had an employee 3 times with an attitude that was not customer friendly, again tonight, the same employee. This one has no patience and it can be read from her face. Tonight I came at 7:50 PM to take away roti. When I walked in I already heard something like "oh no, not another one"! It was almost closing time and I was almost forced out of the store, which was a shame. I have had a situation with this person twice before. Smart behavior and an attitude, that's what I got for you. She also charged more than 30 euros for a bowl of beans and chicken fillet curry. While a roti chicken fillet curry costs 14.40 euros.

This is the worst roti I have ever eaten. You really don't know how to make that, this is sweet mess! No curry taste at all but sweet marinade drippings. And then two small containers containing I think 40 grams of chicken with an egg, which makes it look like there is more chicken in it. And then for 40 euros two rotis are outrageous!!!

Roti as it should be from SU. And nowadays there are many wonna be rotti places where you like roti, eat it and are deeply disappointed afterwards. This is not the case here. I'm still going to taste the noodles. But I know that this will also be tasty if I have been taught how to prepare the roti.

Ordered food here. Perfect! deliciously made! The problem with these types of restaurants is that they use a lot of salt and flavor enhancers dominate, which is not the case here! They are really not customer friendly. This was my first time ordering here and this will definitely be the last time. I just received a call that my food was delayed by 15 minutes, even though I had been waiting for more than 1 hour. Then I ask for compensation and she just hangs up. I'm trying to call them back to cancel my order. But the phone doesn't ring. They close at 8:00 PM and shut down their line as early as 7:30 PM. To date I still have not received my order.

You cannot call this Surinamese food. What a waste of money. Bara hot chicken was a bara with chicken in ketchup, very dirty and not spicy. Saoto very watery and tasted of nothing. The sweet and sour cucumber was as sweet as sugar. The quality is really bad, and the prices have only gone up.

Ordered food 4 times and made a mistake 3 times/forgot things.. I just forgot the telo first.. they brought it but then forgot the cucumber I paid for... when I called all I could get was a big mouth from the saleswoman and that they could refund the €0.50 cents... but that the meal would not taste any less delicious without the cucumber... not much customer friendliness!! Not for me anymore 👍🏼

Ordered food an hour and a half ago... after calling I heard from the lady that there was a "hassle" there. The delivery person would be there in 10 to a maximum of 15 minutes. and unfortunately still no one. After 20 minutes the food finally arrived, not warm, little taste and lots of potatoes. bad service though. I won't be ordering from them again.

Really bad service and food was mediocre. This was noticed when I was on the phone and the lady behind the counter continued talking. Two chicken curry sandwiches. The buns were heated a bit long. Not quite my preference. The chicken curry was decent. The taste was no different than what I use the massala spices at home. You hope to experience that differently with a specialist.

Codfish much too wet. Chicken curry was ok. Hot pepper wasn't really hot pepper. Sour had too much vinegar. Maybe fun for people who don't have much experience with Surinamese cuisine. But not recommended for people with taste. Too expensive for the quality.

I regularly come here for a saoto soup and sandwich. Friendly people, it is clean and, above all, tasty fresh food.

Never ever again order the scandalous souto soup made with cloves and little lemongrass used. Water was completely dark in color? what they call.Staff not friendly either! The pepper completely watered, waited an hour and a half for food. This restaurant is scandalous, they cannot call themselves a Surinamese restaurant

After an hour and a half I called again, they were already on their way. After 15 minutes they indicated that the delivery person had to deliver another order first. The order was then cancelled. Looking at the reviews and the permanent closure of 'Roti Center Oosterheem', I am not the only one.

Sauce is too sweet, not spicy at all as written on the menu. Also the Madame Ginette is very watery and was not mixed with the food. Also, the delivery person at the door dropped my food on the floor. Extremely poor service, and a mainly negative experience. I will not order from here again in the future.
