It's getting quite expensive here, unfortunately. It's a shame, but the food is definitely good and it's okay.

Way too expensive. €16 for a container of nasi with three satay skewers... so the container was only half full. The price-to-quantity ratio is just not right. I picked it up myself, so they don't charge me for delivery. I can understand if you want it delivered to your home that it's more expensive, but then offer a discount or something if you pick it up yourself!

The buffet is big, the variety is huge. Also you can combine everything BUT - meat must be controlled and fresh! The curry chicken was already "smelling" rotten and I will not eat that. Especially at these heat times you have to check that…..

Ordered roti chicken breast, and it's not chicken breast, it's chicken thighs... Chicken satay had huge chunks and was rock hard and dried out, I thought it was from the previous day. And their bara was really disgusting, very big and thick and it was a dough ball, looked like nothing, bara thrown away... such a shame, I went all the way there on someone's recommendation to get some. I'll go make my own roti again!

Super friendly. I'd just bought noodles and when I got home, I realized there was no chicken in them. I went back to the store and explained the situation, and the service was excellent and friendly. I received a huge container of chicken and free cookies. Very polite, and the food is delicious!

Once is enough! I came to this shop because of the good reviews, and it seemed quite busy. I ordered a special chicken roti (chicken on the bone), but what I got was very disappointing. A roti wrapper, some stir-fried pointed cabbage and green beans in a separate container, two very small pieces of chicken on the bone (more bone than meat!), and an egg. For €14.50, I think that's way too expensive! Instead of long beans, they use pointed cabbage and green beans, and those two tiny pieces of chicken are not much. They're making a huge profit this way. If the food had been good, I could have accepted it, but even the taste wasn't good (although that's a personal preference, of course). The service was very friendly, though! This was the first and last time I'll order anything here. I'd rather go to Roopram or Spang Makandra... at least there you're guaranteed a good and tasty roti!

I don't often eat roti because it often becomes a big, monotonous mess. Here, you could clearly distinguish the texture of the vegetables, chicken, and potatoes, as well as the flavor. The food was ready quickly, and the atmosphere during pickup was businesslike and concise. 👍

I placed an order via thuisbezorgd. It took an hour and a half before the food arrived, which would not have been a problem if the food had tasted good. The roti was the only thing I liked. The curry chicken had little salt and spices, the noodles were too soft and the cabbage was not even made with spices. I had to contact the restaurant to ask where my food was. They answered the phone in one go and the gentleman was friendly. It was edible, but this is not authentic Hindustani food.

The food was great. Delicious roti roll, the veggie and chicken were both tasty and had a bit of spice in it. Lots of flavor and a nice sized portion. Perfect for the big eater too. Good price and nice and fast Will go back soon!!

Normally I always buy it at the RotiShop, but on King's Day there was an offer for a second roti for half the price. I don't know what they mean by roti, but I'm not used to this. It looked like a bowl of soup. It contained 1 potato with a few beans. It also contained pointed cabbage with a lot of sauce. The oil was floating on top, I had to pour it off first. I made an attempt to order here and that's it! Next time I'll go to the RotiShop again.

Before the corona I came here occasionally, the banana with peanut sauce was fantastic. The potato is quite tasteless, the chicken is ok. During corona people didn't wear a face mask here and laughed about their food and I didn't come there again until yesterday. The service is really blunt and short, at least I got what I ordered, which wasn't always the case. I went to the bathroom quite often today and I'm done with it and won't be coming back here.

Ordered almost 200 euros worth of food and they arrived with 1 milligram of Madam Jeannette. The food was not delivered on time and the food was cold and unpalatable. I expected more from Roti King, had already heard bad experiences and had my doubts, but now I know for sure what a bad thing. I will never, ever order from there again!!!

Value is terrible. €13.50 for a small box of which literally 90% is rice. The veggies and protein further had almost zero taste. You get a bag of "chili" which is literally that sugar chili sauce from the supermarket. Never again

Very disappointing Bami doesn't taste like noodles, it's just noodles with some color and black pepper. Chicken has color but no taste, even smells raw. When I walked in, the boys were hard at work, but still took the time to remain social and friendly. My food was ready quickly, and I walked away satisfied. A few meters away I heard someone calling my name; it turned out that the guys forgot something with my order. Making mistakes can happen, but it shows a lot of character that they took the time to run after me to put it right.

If my grandmother had made roti, she would have been jealous of Roti King's roti. The roti roll was creamy, tender, full of vegetables, balanced and pleasantly full. So, if you don't know what you want for your birthday, ask for a gift voucher from the Roti King.

I regularly drive by here for a hot chicken sandwich with pepper and pickles (I think they have the tastiest hot chicken sandwich, so I make the detour especially for it). But today I wanted something different, so I tried the roti roll with hot chicken and pepper and sour. JEMINEETJE HOW DELICIOUS..!!! Really really enjoyed it and definitely worth a try :) (provided you like it spicy, because you walk out the door like a Charizard, but I love that haha, otherwise maybe try it with soy sauce or curry chicken :)

Until last year, it was always my favorite place for a sandwich or bara for lunch or to take a quick meal home after working. Went again yesterday after about 5 months of absence from the area and so yes, I'm going to 'Roti King' between work for a hearty lunch: my order was a spicy soy sauce chicken sandwich and bara bakkeljauw, both with pepper and sour. 'Spicy' chicken ketjap sandwich with pepper and sour that had little taste. Sour was not tasty and the chicken itself was neither spicy nor spicy and either the pepper was rubbish or had been forgotten. Tucked the sandwich away halfway and took a bite of Bara with codfish…. I have no idea what happened to the tasty bara they always sold. This certainly wasn't him. Bara structure and taste...no...just no Bakkeljauw also seemed to have been beaten flat in terms of taste. It's that I knew and saw that it really had bakkelja filling. And here too the 'sour' tasted of nothing and the pepper... which pepper??? No, we will no longer do that 20-minute walk from the office for a 'nice lunch' or take home for dinner. I wouldn't bet my money on how nice and attentive the young man serving was. Delivery took 2 hours (range 20-40min beforehand), called and received no service or polite answers. The food was cold when it arrived. The taste is okay but service and delivery time are really bad.

People who come in after you are helped before you, who wait politely, ask for a portion of potatoes and long beans. You get it in 2 containers, so I order 3 roti plates because I wouldn't finish it otherwise. Cost me 19 euros, now it will never happen again, I find it very scandalous that the people who come after me were helped earlier

Al een lange tijd met plezier altijd hier eten besteld/afgehaald. Dit was een van de beste Surinaamse tenten naar mijn ervaring. Altijd en nog steeds heerlijke broodjes en bara’s. De prijzen zijn logischerwijs ook omhoog gegaan maar de de prijzen zijn echt te duur voor een broodje. Helaas is bij sommige andere gerechten de kwaliteit verminderd. De soato soep is heel zoutig, proeft de laos, saleh en gember helemaal niet. Ook is de vega soato soep gewoon kippen bouilon en dus niet vega.(!) Kip saté is enorm en enorm zout, proef niks anders. Saté is wel weer heerlijk. Broodjes zijn ook nog goed en bara’s zijn ook nog van goeie kwaliteit.

Het was zeker 25 jaar geleden dat ik zullen lekker roti lam heb gehad en ik kom zeker terug. Ik had het water in mijn mond lopen, ik kon niet wachten en tegelijkertijd geen keuze maken. Personeel bleef geduldig en zeer vriendelijk. En het eten smaakte inderdaad voortreffelijk, als vanouds!

Heerlijk broodje. Al vind ik de broodjes tegenwoordig OVERAL 5 euro best wel aan de prijs.

Prima roti (kip tandoori vooral). Maar de prijsstijgingen zijn hier wel heel exorbitant. 40% in 1,5 jaar is zoveel meer dan het inflatie pijl dat graaiflatie is en niet meer als een eerlijke prijs voelt. Jammer ik ga hierdoor toch minder vaak heen. Ik heb trouwens ook het idee dat hier heeel veel 5 sterren nep reviews staan (allemaal zonder commentaar van mensen die maar 1 review hebben). Is dat nou echt nodig?

Broodjes zijn hartstikke lekker. Je kan ook kiezen voor een van de verschillende maaltijden (roti). Personeel is vriendelijk. Als het druk is kan je beter geen haast hebben, maar uiteindelijk is het het wachten waard. Let op, pittig is hier ook serieus pittig. Ik kan er best goed tegen en maar heb meer dan eens staan blussen met melk of andere zuivel.
