Roxy's Karaokebar in Wijk 01 Nijmegen-Centrum

My first time at the Roxy karaoke bar. The microphone was severely abused by a woman who was yelling at her not to sing. But what really shocked me was the bartender working on August 23rd, a Saturday night. I asked how the karaoke system worked, and at first, she couldn't speak English. So she had to repeat it again. Friendliness was nowhere to be found. Mid-high school practices: I was laughed at, pissed off, and she started talking about me to a colleague behind the bar. She had no patience or understanding that I didn't understand her explanation. Very short-tempered. Why does she work there? I didn't order anything and left immediately. 🤯🤔😑

Service was extremely slow and a jägerbomb was with house brand energy, but you pay the main price...

Private room for karaoke, highly recommended, super good system, very cozy in an intimate atmosphere!

It's very dirty there. The microphone was sticky....the floor was sticky.....Boxes from the karaoke bar were, well...

Then you request a number and they remove you from the queue. Drinks are way too expensive. If you want to do karaoke, it's better to do it at home.

We waited for hours for one song we requested but when it finally came it was immediatly skipped while the club wasn't even busy.

It's fun, but the songs were a bit too long. At a karaoke bar they often have shorter versions, which makes everything go a little faster

We were clearly two foreign people and since it was our first experience in a Karaoke in this country we did not take into account that the music was going to be in their native language, although fortunately there was a lot of music in English. We asked for some songs to sing, and in the over an hour we were there, only one of us could sing a song. The service was good in terms of drinks, but not in terms of songs. The prices are low and the place is not big but it is comfortable.

Nice tent, not every song, but you can request it.

Super cozy bar! Especially a lot of bachelor parties, of course. It's nice that there are 2 rooms upstairs and downstairs so you can alternate if things aren't going well 😀

I think it's a shame that you can't choose every song that is on Spotify, although I think it is understandable that this is not possible because there must be a karaoke version with lyrics that you can sing along with the music. Still, I had a nice evening and they have some pretty okay shots for a good price, which I didn't think was bad either!

Best karaoke bar around with the friendliest service. Expect crowds during the weekends!

Nice atmosphere, sometimes a bit cramped with space, but that also makes it cozy. Pleasant staff. Guests often have a good time. You also easily connect with others. Sometimes it is a disadvantage that there are not many toilets when it is busy. But you can't disadvantage the company for that.

Very nice tent. Always pleasant, staff makes time for a chat, fun promotions in terms of shots and drinks and a very accessible and friendly atmosphere everywhere. Absolutely recommended.

Best karaoke bar i have ever been too

It was a lot of fun, but there were a lot of strangely dressed people walking around, one looked like a robber and the other looked like an escaped prisoner.

As a real karaoke fan who visits karaoke bars at home and abroad, I can only tell you one thing: this is the best you will ever visit!

It was very nice, nice people, great atmosphere. Recommended!

Nice bar, the atmosphere is great, the system for requesting songs works well. It's just a shame that you can't delete the songs you added yourself.

Definitely nice place for karaoke. When I was there, it was very busy and at one point the waiting list was removed because it was getting too long, while it was really almost our turn! That was really a shame

It's a nice cozy karaoke bar, but it takes a really long time for your song to appear and the songs automatically disappear after they appeared on the screen.

1st time I was there. Was there before 12 and in no time it was suddenly 4 o'clock. Totally awesome! Not too busy, just cozy. Fun people!

Top spot with a great owner. They also have a huge selection of music from all kinds of genres. Sometimes there is even a band you can sing with. Recommended for every karaoke lover!

Very enjoyable, everyone sings along at the top of their lungs. The only downside is that the queue is very long.

What a nice place! The pub itself is not very big, but they seem to have rooms downstairs that you can rent. You can request a number via a site, where you can also see the waiting list. Great karaoke bar. The system they use is pretty great. The only thing I think is a shame is the TV on the other side of the stage. It hangs a little too low. When it's busy and there are people standing between the stage and the TV, you can no longer read the bottom lines (I'm 1.63m).

The most sultry guy with an angelic voice made my evening complete besides the fact that I got to sing The Wild Rover with him as a closing song. One of the better karaoke places!

Great karaoke location and a convenient system to sign up for songs to sing. Could have better ventilation, and some of the mics need to be changed.
