We love this restaurant! The staff is friendly, the environment is welcoming, and they are able to accommodate to my vegetarian diet. We visit them on a monthly basis, a great place for date night

Very hospitable and friendly, but above all fantastic dishes, although it is a tiny bit of a shame that they only have the thin noodles.

What a wonderful experience this was. Everything we tasted was perfectly prepared and looked beautiful. The presentation inside the pineapple, in particular, was a unique and very nice surprise. The quality of the ingredients is truly top-notch. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of dishes, with the crispy noodles and the sesame-coated shrimp really standing out. We will definitely be back here soon for a delicious meal.

The food is quite standard, but unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired. Despite spending a considerable amount, the necessary empathy and customer friendliness were lacking. It was very disappointing that an argument even arose over a glass of water. For us, this is a reason not to recommend the establishment; after all, hospitality should be the foundation.

I went to this restaurant without high expectations, as I'm generally not a fan of Chinese cuisine, but I was still curious and hungry. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing, especially in terms of hygiene, which is crucial for me. As soon as I entered, I immediately noticed the visibly dusty bar counter. It wasn't just a few occasional stains, but rather accumulated dirt, which immediately gives off a bad impression. Carpet flooring in a restaurant left me perplexed: besides being unhygienic, it also contributes to a general sense of lack of care. One thing I'd never experienced before: the tablecloth hadn't been changed between customers. It was already used and visibly dirty, which I find unacceptable. Regarding the food, I should point out that it could be a matter of personal taste, but I didn't enjoy any of the dishes I tried: many of the consistencies were gelatinous and unappealing to me. The only positive note was the ice cream. Even the details make a difference: the teapot inside was stained, which can happen with tea, but which personally made me feel unclean. Overall, beyond the taste, what struck me negatively was the lack of care and attention to hygiene. I left the restaurant still hungry and, above all, with a general feeling of discomfort. I'm sorry to leave a negative review, but I think certain aspects could be improved.

Such a great neighborhood spot and the service is always the best. So friendly and accommodating. The food is good and portions are generous. Love going here with our family!

I can't comment on the atmosphere. I just got a chili complete after not having been here for a very long time, and it was awful. The chicken and shrimp, okay, nothing can go wrong with them, but the beef, tough, fatty, and tough... disappointing, unfortunately. I wonder if it was actually beef and not pork. I threw it away.

Always super friendly and authentic service, great food and atmosphere! One of our favorite places in Amstelveen that we continue choosing for our family dinners.

We dined here last Saturday with 11 family members. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. We had to wait over an hour and a half for our food, and several dishes were forgotten. The white rice didn't arrive until everyone had finished eating, even though we specifically requested it several times. As a result, the main courses had to be eaten without rice, and the food also went cold. The biggest problem was that half the table had already eaten and the other half hadn't, which made the evening very unpleasant. Furthermore, some appetizers didn't arrive until everyone had finished eating. The food itself was fine, but this restaurant clearly can't handle a group of this size. What made it even worse was the lack of communication from the staff: no explanation, no apology, and no feedback whatsoever about the long wait or the missing dishes. With a bill of over €400, we expected at least better organization and service. All in all, a very frustrating experience.

It's a shame they have live lobsters, and on top of that, with their claws tied, crammed into a small tank. This is very cruel and shouldn't be allowed. It's a shame because the place itself is nice.

The food was really delicious. We ordered many starters and main courses and almost all of them were above the standards. The staff was very helpful and understanding, we didn't have any issues, we even got desert on the house... Overall we had a great experience and definately would come back.

Best Chinese restaurant for years in my opinion.. big portions and good value

We made a reservation for a group of eight people about a month ago, but unfortunately, we didn't receive an email confirmation. Just to be sure, we called to check if the reservation was confirmed. The answer: yes, it's in the calendar. On Friday, November 21, 2025, we arrived right on time, but there was no table available. Why do we need a reservation then? The owners politely kept suggesting we wait a few more minutes, but unfortunately, those few minutes turned into over half an hour! And there we were, eight of us, waiting in the narrow hallway! This was unacceptable. Then, when serving the main course, someone's dish was forgotten. They had to wait over 15 minutes, while everyone else was already eating. This was the second blunder of the evening. All in all, the above affected the atmosphere of the evening, which was very disappointing.

I ordered here by phone and was able to pick it up after fifteen minutes, even though the place was completely full (I saw it arriving). The food was really good, nothing to complain about. Once we got home, we discovered an item we ordered was missing, and they quickly brought it over by motorbike courier. Absolutely fantastic.

Terrible experience – never again! The place was filthy — dirty cutlery, stained cups, and a disgusting toilet. The food was just as bad: the sauce tasted chemical, and the whole meal felt like it was made from nothing but fake ingredients. I couldn’t finish my plate. Definitely not worth visiting.

The food was very unpleasant – everything was soaked in strange sauces, and I don’t even want to imagine how artificial they were. The restroom clearly needs a more thorough cleaning, not just a quick wipe on the surface. On top of that, we were served dirty cups for our tea. Very disappointing experience overall.

Service was spot on. The food had some ups and downs. Some of it feels like 80s style mocking of Chinese dishes. Definitely did not feel like Cantonese cuisine as we had in Hong Kong. The cantonese roasted duck was the best duck dish I have ever eaten. Texture of the duck was perfect and the balance of the flavors was top notch. Besides, the portion was quite large, which is uncommon for such high end delicacies. I find that the prices were quite modest given the quality of the dishes and appealing vibe of the restaurant. The service was superb even on a busy Friday evening. In my experience, the employees are kind and caring. I plan to visit this place more often.

Not a fan of Cantonese food, but this was head and shoulders above the rest. Fortunately, the family has a close relationship with this restaurant so we got in and were seated fairly quickly. Service was great, we received drinks and food very quickly and the food was really tasty.
