The food was really delicious. We ordered many starters and main courses and almost all of them were above the standards. The staff was very helpful and understanding, we didn't have any issues, we even got desert on the house... Overall we had a great experience and definately would come back.

Best Chinese restaurant for years in my opinion.. big portions and good value

We made a reservation for a group of eight people about a month ago, but unfortunately, we didn't receive an email confirmation. Just to be sure, we called to check if the reservation was confirmed. The answer: yes, it's in the calendar. On Friday, November 21, 2025, we arrived right on time, but there was no table available. Why do we need a reservation then? The owners politely kept suggesting we wait a few more minutes, but unfortunately, those few minutes turned into over half an hour! And there we were, eight of us, waiting in the narrow hallway! This was unacceptable. Then, when serving the main course, someone's dish was forgotten. They had to wait over 15 minutes, while everyone else was already eating. This was the second blunder of the evening. All in all, the above affected the atmosphere of the evening, which was very disappointing.

I ordered here by phone and was able to pick it up after fifteen minutes, even though the place was completely full (I saw it arriving). The food was really good, nothing to complain about. Once we got home, we discovered an item we ordered was missing, and they quickly brought it over by motorbike courier. Absolutely fantastic.

Highly recommended! The food is truly excellent, fresh, and each dish has its own authentic flavor. The service is very welcoming, driven by an intrinsic desire to please.

The food was very unpleasant – everything was soaked in strange sauces, and I don’t even want to imagine how artificial they were. The restroom clearly needs a more thorough cleaning, not just a quick wipe on the surface. On top of that, we were served dirty cups for our tea. Very disappointing experience overall.

Terrible experience – never again! The place was filthy — dirty cutlery, stained cups, and a disgusting toilet. The food was just as bad: the sauce tasted chemical, and the whole meal felt like it was made from nothing but fake ingredients. I couldn’t finish my plate. Definitely not worth visiting.

Visited couple of times, always a nice option for lunch or dinner when in Oude dorp. Waiters are very friendly, you feel like at home from the very begining. You get a fortune cookie with a coffee and a desert on the house.

Service was spot on. The food had some ups and downs. Some of it feels like 80s style mocking of Chinese dishes. Definitely did not feel like Cantonese cuisine as we had in Hong Kong. I am not sure if it is in order to please the crowd or just luck of ingredients. Anyways, the Szechuan duck soup was delicious. The roasted duck was ultra dry and the sauce was meh...

They charged me more for several things, 31 euros more for wine, 2 extra cokes and 64 euros more for food. They lost 8 customers who will never come back.

The cantonese roasted duck was the best duck dish I have ever eaten. Texture of the duck was perfect and the balance of the flavors was top notch. Besides, the portion was quite large, which is uncommon for such high end delicacies. I find that the prices were quite modest given the quality of the dishes and appealing vibe of the restaurant. The service was superb even on a busy Friday evening. In my experience, the employees are kind and caring. I plan to visit this place more often.

Order collected. I've never really eaten something so tasteless. Flat in taste, rice prepared without salt and the Beijing duck was not crispy but with a rubber skin. Very unfortunate.

Not a fan of Cantonese food, but this was head and shoulders above the rest. Fortunately, the family has a close relationship with this restaurant so we got in and were seated fairly quickly. Service was great, we received drinks and food very quickly and the food was really tasty.

I love the staff and the food here. Compared to most of the other bigger Chinese restaurants (in the other cities), the staff here are always polite and cheerful to see you. The food is great, and really hits the spot when you crave good Chinese food! Highly recommend trying the fish, duck with pancake, roast pork and char siew.

Excellent dim sum. This has been a favorite for decades. Dim sum is quite good and the Tsing Tao is always good. Parking is a bit of a challenge as the downtown area is blocked from entry.

A restaurant that serves clean, Cantonese-style Chinese cuisine. The best thing is that you don't crave water after eating it.

Het restaurant was helemaal volgestouwd met tafels, veel te dicht op elkaar en nauwelijks ruimte voor het personeel om tussendoor te lopen. Er zaten minstens 90 mensen in het restaurant, daardoor erg rumoerig en erg warm. Het personeel kon de drukte niet aan. We hebben lang moeten wachten op het hoofdgerecht, wat bovendien niet voor ons vieren tegelijk kwam. Eerst twee, na een enige tijd werd het derde hoofdgerecht gebracht en toen die hoofdgerechten bijna op waren werd het vierde gebracht. Ook bleek een van de rechauds stuk waardoor de schotels heel snel koud werden. Een waardeloze ervaring, ons zie je er niet meer..............

I visited the "Royal San Kong" restaurant, and it was an incredible experience, as always! We come here every week, and they never disappoint. The Peking duck and the sweet and sour chicken were simply outstanding. The duck was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the sweet and sour chicken had the perfect balance of flavors – tangy, sweet, and savory. The hospitality at the restaurant is always exceptional. The staff is warm, welcoming, and makes sure we feel comfortable from the moment we walk in. The service is fast, and we never have to wait long for our food to arrive, which we really appreciate. Drove around hours because the hours of restaurants on the Google map were incorrect or correct but not undated during Summer vacation. After hours of driving and frustration, found this gem. Nearby free parking with max 90 min. Super friendly staffs. Great quality of the food for the price. And the lighting speed of the service brought me back to the Earth. Thank you.

Good service overall! Booking made simple by google map directly. When i found out that i was going to be late, the restaurant was flexible with my reservation. When i arrived i was guided to my seat directly. The waitress was making sure i got attended. Even before leaving they offer me ice cream 🥹 Ambiance wise, it was great! You got thw vibe of royal palace from traditional Chinese. Really made the dining experience different. Food wise, it was decent. Dont get me wrong, it is good. However, it definitely can be improved. Mapo tofu was not ideal, i didnt taste the mala from the tofu. Nasi goreng was great taste, despite not so vibrant. The Tausi beef were not disappointing.

Compared to other restaurants, this restaurant is highly recommended. The food is of high quality, the atmosphere is OK, it was very busy but that was not disturbing because there was no delay in service. And the service is informal and very pleasant.
