A very disappointing experience. I went there twice on different days and times to buy a product, but both times there was no time to help me. In addition, I was spoken to in an unfriendly manner, which made the experience even more unpleasant. Understandable that it can be busy, but a little customer friendliness would have made a lot of difference. As if I have to smell when they do have time. For me, definitely no next time.

I have been getting pizza from Sapori da Stefano for quite some time now. The pizzas are always fresh and delicious! The pizza of the month is always recommended. Let yourself be surprised! Also friendly staff and good service! TOP BUSINESS!

Quality of food is very good. Pizza from a wood-fired oven. Tartuffo with Parma ham is highly recommended. Staff are friendly. Ambience is also great, but can sometimes be a bit busy due to ice cream sales or takeaway, I find that pleasant. Price is great for this time!

Tasty and cozy at the same time! Service was also great. We went there for dinner and had different pasta of the day dishes. I had the vongole, which had a lot of clams, and it was super well done. Spices to the point! My husband had the bolognese and it was also delicious and had plenty of meat. My dad had the ossenhaas which had big chunks of meat and a somewhat cheese sauce. Everything was perfect! Portions are more than sufficient and the proteins were plenty. I can only recommend this place for a good dinner with friends and family.

Today we enjoyed a tagliata sandwich at Sapori da Stefano. The sandwich was freshly prepared in the kitchen and had just been baked - you can taste it immediately. The meat was fine, not exceptional, but certainly tasty. What really makes this place special is the location and the atmosphere. As soon as you walk in, it feels authentic. You notice that attention has been paid to the details, from the interior to the products they use. As icing on the cake, I drank a bottle of Antica Ricetta - that completed the picture. You can't get more authentic than that. In short: highly recommended if you like Italian cuisine in an attractive setting.

Mediocre and variable Italian. Pasta was tasty, pizza very substandard. Desserts tasty and good, but the ice cream is super bad. Staff very busy with take-aways and people who came to get ice cream, restless in the shop while eating. And then you pay the top price, so price-quality is not in order as far as I'm concerned

Chairs are not really comfortable. But the food and service are top notch. Pizzas with special toppings. And really super tasty dough.

Unfortunately flavours were lacking and the beef was undercooked. But great staff and great atmosphere

This restaurant deserves a Michelin Star! Simple on the inside as it should be with real craftsmanship. Pizza exactly as it should be. Excellent Chiante and exceptionally tasty Limoncellio, passionate people and very friendly service.

The restaurant offered a truly exquisite culinary experience. The dishes were tasty and beautifully presented, a pleasure for the senses. The price was very reasonable for the quality offered, which was certainly appreciated. The portions were generous, and they were certainly not too frugal. The service was also attentive and friendly, which contributed to a pleasant evening.

What a gem in a shopping center of all places. Perfect food, the papardelle with oxtail was very tasty and well prepared. The bread comes from the wood-burning oven and arrives warm on the table, all very tasty. The atmosphere is great, even though a lot of food is taken away, it is a cozy restaurant, almost a trattoria. Recommended

It costs a bit, but then you get something! After a delicious sandwich you won't be hungry for a while. Friendly help and it looks nice.

The real Italy in Alphen!!!! Had lunch here for the first time. Very pleasantly surprised =) Focaccia Truffle Salami 10/10 Hazelnut Cannoli 10/10 Staff and Service 10/10 I will definitely come back here again.

Italian restaurant-pizzeria, located in the city of Alphen aan den Rijn in the Netherlands. Exceptional dishes are served (including exquisite pizzas), thanks to the expert skill of chef Stefano, a very courteous and welcoming host, together with all his staff. Impeccable service. I highly recommend it if you are in that part of Holland.

We have eaten here several times. The service and food was good and delicious. Unfortunately, tonight (March 20, 2024, we were celebrating my birthday) wasn't that good. The pizzas were blackened (we indicated this) and the table was not cleared in between. Our experience is that it may have been too much for a group of 8 people for the kitchen. We were there with 2 grandchildren and we do not think it is a child-friendly restaurant. Probably because it is small-scale.

Had dinner with you for the first time with the family. Nice atmosphere and we thought the food was excellent. We will be back soon.

Really enjoyed a delicious pizza, the simplest one available, but so tasty! You can tell that it has been prepared with passion. Cannoli and tiramisu along with a delicious pasta. We will definitely come back here.

Tasty dishes and a real Italian atmosphere. A bit pricey for pick up only. Our first experience of eating at this restaurant also confirms that they are over-priced, a fairly meager snack board for 3 people at €45 is far too much in our opinion.

You feel like you are in Italy, really delicious. Focaccia very tasty! Ravioli not normal. .... The lasagna was also excellent and the risotto delicious! Good wine doesn't need a wreath... Coffee like in Italy and for the enthusiasts, a grappa, really not normally so tasty. Operation perfectly fine! Recommended, or...... not... it gets too busy! Sry.

I come from Naples, the city where pizza was born. so you can trust my judgment. If you want to eat real pizza without necessarily going to Amsterdam, this is the only place to go. The pizza is formidable, the food is fresh and of excellent quality and you are also sure to find courtesy and friendliness. in short, highly recommended for anyone who wants to taste the real Italian flavors

Nice place to eat pizza or lunch. I've never tasted pasta before so I can't say anything about that. Service was always excellent. It's nice that you get a normal sized soft drink instead of shot glasses. Unfortunately, the chairs outside are intended to allow you to leave within half an hour, so I would put something else there. This also ensures that people want to stay for an extra drink. Really good pizzas and delicious ice cream!

We are the only customers in this restaurant The music is quite loud and I was kindly asked twice to turn it down, but this was ignored and not done, which is a shame because I have difficulty hearing and my partner is very bothered by the stimuli. I was excited to try a new pizza restaurant, but unfortunately my experience was far from what I expected. As soon as I sat down I was told by a female waitress that I could only order tap water if I also ordered a drink. I felt this was an unnecessary limitation and it set a negative tone for the rest of my experience. I ended up reluctantly ordering a can of soda, which I had actually been meaning to order before the waitress cut me off. When my food arrived I was disappointed that my order was incorrect. I brought this to the attention of the waitress, but instead of apologizing and improving the situation, she started arguing with me and told me that one of the pizzas was correct. I pointed out that the other pizza was poorly presented, with all the ingredients (mushrooms) on one slice, but she insisted that this was how it was meant to be served and if I didn't like it, that I could spread it on the pizza myself . It felt like she was too lazy to improve it and make it look presentable. Instead of being remade, the pizzas were taken back and the young man apologized for the mistake, but the waitress did nothing of the sort. The extra missing topping was added and my pizza was exchanged for the correct ordered pizza. I was charged extra 3 euros for a simple topping change and the olives had stones in them. The owner was not called and everything was handled by the waitress. I brought these issues to the attention of the waitress, but she did not want to hear my feedback and continued to insist that I was wrong. It was clear that the waitress did not want to make any effort to improve our experience. I had really been looking forward to trying the pizza but unfortunately the poor service made it impossible to enjoy my meal. The restaurant could have attracted more business if the service had been understanding and respectful rather than argumentative. It was a disappointment because the pizza was actually very tasty, but the poor service overpowered every positive aspect of the meal. You might earn an extra 3 euros because of me, but you'll miss out on 40 euros because of bad ones. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone as the poor service exceeds the quality of the food. Good service can make the difference between a one-time customer and a returning customer, and in this case, better service would definitely have helped keep me coming back for more of their tasty pizzas. Edit: Dear [Owner/waitress], Thanks for your response. Although we will not agree on the events of the evening, I understand your position. But as the old Dutch proverb says: "He who does not honor the small does not deserve the great". Let us part ways here! Farewell. 🙂

By far, but really by far the best pizza in Alphen and the surrounding area. Outside of Italy I have rarely eaten such good pizza. Moreover, an excellent selection of fine meats to enjoy at home!

Sapori pizza was very boring, no taste. When I asked for arugula and cheese I had to pay 2.5 euros extra... without them indicating it.

You can eat good pizzas here! I recommend just eating out here. You can also pick up, but because there is a real wood-fired pizza oven and the pizzas are wafer-thin as they should be, they quickly lose their heat. Sapori da Stefano is also an Italian caterer for all kinds of Italian delicacies. They also always have delicious seasonal dishes. I'm a fan!

Very tasty pizza and sandwiches but staff too arrogant. Twice already ordered in time in the afternoon for collection in the evening, and the pizzas were not even ready at the time of collection. After waiting for half an hour, we asked about the status, after which we were told that we should not be so impatient. It is very special that customers are treated this way.

Arrogant guy. Not a friendly place

We made a reservation and arrived on time. A table was ready and we sat down. After us, 2 more couples arrived. They were helped earlier and after 45 minutes we still did not have the opportunity to order anything, while one couple had already eaten and the 2nd couple was just being served their food. We just got up and walked away... a bit strange to let us sit there for so long and not once come over to ask what we would like to drink and whether we have already made a choice. It wasn't even busy.

After waiting for more than half an hour, no one at the table asks if you want or want to order a drink. Several people who came after us had already received a drink and their order had been taken. Staff who look at you blearily when they see you waiting at your table for half an hour. Pizzas look delicious, but I never got to taste them...

Great pizza but it is not worth having a great pizza and awful service. There were two apparently Italian (owner or bosses) that were treating their staff very disrespectfully. On top of that the service was very slow and very unorganized. There are a plenty of great pizzas places out there. Do not waste your time with a bad experience and service. Not what one would expect from a Italian famiglia.

Ordered pasta twice and had it delivered. Taste was ok, not very special. Small portions for this price. But it's a pity that the food was lukewarm, we live 5 minutes away. Too bad, not good enough.
