The best pizza ever – and that says something! At Trattoria Dominic in Alphen aan den Rijn I ate without a doubt the best pizza I have ever had. Crispy base, pure flavours, perfectly balanced. No fuss, just really good. The staff is friendly and genuinely hospitable. As if you are in Italy for a moment – ​​but then just around the corner. And the prices? Very reasonable for the quality you get. In short: a hidden gem that you must have been to if you love real pizza.

Shame, we have ordered regularly and the pizzas were always fresh and tasty. Now the last 2 times we waited more than an hour and got wet newspapers to eat. Shame, the quality is clearly off. Hope you get this sorted out, we will switch to an alternative.

What an incredibly good service! The food is always delicious, hot, delivered quickly and good. I ordered a glass of wine that, in my opinion, had a bit of a sherry flavor. Normally I don't call often, but I wanted to report it anyway. Even though I didn't need a new one, within 5 minutes (I live around the corner) someone was at my door with another bottle. How sweet and kind is that! Really great! Thank you :-)

However, the ordered pasta was missing and the pizzas were cold. Called the restaurant. It was difficult to communicate with the girl I spoke to on the phone due to the background noise of the restaurant. Ultimately the order was remade and redelivered. This time it was the quality we have come to expect from them. Too bad about the 1st attempt and that it ended up being more than 2.5 hours before we could eat, but it was resolved nicely! The restaurant remains highly recommended

We had dinner here for Valentine's Day and the owner had brought delicious petit fours especially for this occasion. It was also nicely decorated: table, napkins and even hearts on the floor and some rose petals strewn on the table. In short: we had a fantastic evening!👌♥️ We also sometimes deliver. And the lasagnas from here are also super tasty. Domique's delicacies and service always make us very happy!

Real quality pizzas, fun to see how it is made and ordering is easy. Always crispy with a thin base. Good ingredients and certainly not too greasy (not drippy). Pizza as you find it in Italy. In the Netherlands people often miss the mark, but at Trattoria they do it the authentic way. And you can taste it! Never order anywhere else again!!!

Yes! This is the place to be for a delicious Italian pizza! Dominic's pizzas are really fantastic, the perfect base is made from delicious dough. The oven in which the pizzas are baked is not only beautiful to look at (with a rotating stone base? Wow!), the pizzas also come out perfectly baked... Mmmmm! I almost forgot to say that the service is very friendly and attentive, so...

Something went wrong on both sides. I ordered some pizzas and a tuna salad. My bad, that had to be a tuna pizza. However, the salad was not included at all. Called, within 10 minutes someone was at the door with a tuna pizza. Without extra costs. Normally I regret my ordering method for two days, but I don't have that here. Tasty, and I think the ingredients are also good. This is our go-to pizzeria now.

Dominique makes excellent pizzas. My favorite is the Calzone Domnique with extra anchovies of course. But a few tables in the restaurant and the pick-up customers also walk away; you have a spot: enjoy your delicious pizza with a glass of house wine and the attentive owner. We like coming here.
