Satehuis in Centrum

We regularly picked up food here, but this was definitely the last time. I ordered by phone and they said it would take 30 minutes. I've been waiting an hour now.

Can I give 6 stars for service? We were a group of five blind/visually impaired men out for the evening, and the waitress helped us with EVERYTHING. We were all escorted to the restroom door, she explained everything on our plates, and the food was delicious. Plus, it was a great price.

We had a lovely and delicious meal. The mix of three types of satay. Highly recommended.

During peak evening hours, we managed to get a table near the kitchen and enjoyed delicious, reasonably priced food. Authentic Indonesian cuisine, but it took a while for our order to arrive.

We had a delicious satay. The service was super friendly and good. Unfortunately, the food was too spicy for my partner. Perhaps offering peanut sauce and ketjap sauce without the sambal would be an option. The satay was excellent and thoroughly marinated.

The charcoal grilled satay is amazing.

We ate there with a group of eight people. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. It's a shame the restaurant was functional; for an Indonesian restaurant, you'd definitely expect Kroncong/gamelan music. There wasn't much of an Indonesian atmosphere. The restrooms were clean.

Nice relaxed atmosphere, Portions perfect not too much not too little (certainly not too little). Satay sauce nice and sweet and a bit thicker in structure which I find perfect compared to most places (not that it is not good, but to each his own). Nice service, I come here more often.

The satay was generous, with six skewers. Plenty of sauce, rice, and salad. Nicely presented and worth the price.

Friendly service, limited menu. The satay sauce is very sweet and thick, and - sorry - little taste of peanut. Not as I learned on my Indonesian cooking course, a bit of lemongrass or lime leaves would make it a bit fresher and tastier

Great food here!!!! In my opinion, real Indonesian food! What delicious flavors! I only thought it was a shame that the fresh orange juice is served lukewarm. The cappuccino was also not tasty (way too watery). Now for me a 9. If the rest were also good then a big 10 Service was also great.

Nice menu, tasty food. Atmosphere and decoration could be a little more attractive. Fairly unpleasant. But food is fine, that is ultimately the most important thing.

Tasty Indian food. The specialty is satay, but you can also go for Nasi Rames. The food is nicely seasoned and the Rendang is especially good. Satays are all fine. You can also eat there quickly if you want. The service is good and the toilet is clean. The only pity is that the collection is in the shop itself. We will definitely come here again.

Had an Indian rice table for 2 people. Starter and main courses were fine, but I thought the main course was just okay in terms of quantity. The dessert was a huge disappointment unfortunately. I expected something special when it comes to Indian food. If you then get two scoops of vanilla ice cream, luckily with a few thin slices of bacon biscuit (yes, that may be Indian). But add two simple vanilla ice cream and cheap whipped cream. No, I don't need that. It felt cheaply dismissed to me. I didn't find the entire atmosphere very 'warm' there either. That's a shame. Because as I said, the main course and the satay (of course) were fine. Maybe stick with that then?

Had dinner yesterday through a social deal. We had a 3 course tapas dinner. Incredibly delicious food with large portions and super friendly service. Even when there were problems with our social deal, they were kind enough to work with us to see how we could solve it. In summary, simply the best Indonesian food I have ever eaten!

I ordered a Gado gado with lontong. Besides the fact that it was delivered half lukewarm, I could unfortunately hardly call it a gadogado. It mainly consisted of bean sprouts, 4 small beans, 2 slices of lukewarm cucumber and 4 cubes of tofu. The signature gadogado sauce turned out to be nothing more than ordinary regular peanut sauce. You can make me very happy with a good gado gado, but unfortunately you can hardly call this a gadogado, there are few different vegetables, a normal peanut sauce and the gadogado itself has a good taste. In addition, even though it was ordered well in advance, it was delivered much later than the agreed time and without any notice. And also half lukewarm. I give it 1 star and only because you can't give it lower than 1 star. This is very disappointing.

Delicious satay! It tasted good and was nice and fresh. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant looks neat and fresh.

Ended up here with a Social Deal. We really loved it. The social deal was a three-course menu with small snacks as both a starter and a main course. Everything was very tasty and the staff was very friendly. It was also neatly explained what everything was. Dessert was a piece of spekkoek with ice cream. We enjoyed. It's a shame that Groningen is so far away for us, otherwise we would certainly come here much more often.

The delivery man acted arrogantly on his bike and attacked me and my friends with his cargo bike, then started swearing at us and threatening us. Name not given.

A Satehuis delivery person was completely arrogant and cycled into people. He then scolded everyone with the k word as if that was normal in this society. Not surprised, but disappointed.

Kom hier al tientallen jaren, de zaak is geheel gemoderniseerd. Door de open keuken komen de heerlijke Oriëntaalse en gegrilde geuren je al tegemoet. De bediening is zoals altijd perfect, een groet bij binnenkomst, het vriendelijk toewijzen van een tafel. De ongedwongen sfeer. Je wordt snel geholpen, ook als het druk is. De menukaart is voor iedereen uitgebreid genoeg om een keuze te kunnen maken. De heerlijk gegrilde vleesstokjes zijn niet te versmaden. Een verdiende 5 sterren

Zoals altijd was de smaak prima. De bestelling kwam echter wel 3 kwartier te laat en alles was koud. De bami en saté waren na een rondje magnetron nog wel te doen, maar de frietjes en de loempia's konden linea recta de container in want die waren zo koud dat het echt niet lekker meer was. Zo zonde...

Lekkere saté 6!!stokjes met witte rijst voor een betaalbare prijs. De satésaus was ook prima van smaak en werd in ruime mate apart bij geserveerd. Een schijfje citroen/limoen met een ijsblokje miste ik bij de frisdrank.

In het restaurant heb je uitzicht op het gedeelte waar de saté gebakken wordt. Hierdoor ruikt het er lekker en krijg je gelijk trek. Keuze uit verschillende soorten saté en andere gerechten. Bestel alleen saté, die smaakt het lekkerste. Het heet niet voor niets Satéhuis. Kom hier al meer dan 25 jaar en de kwaliteit is nog steeds top.

Al jaren ons favoriete restaurant voor lekker Indonesisch eten. De bediening is ook uitstekend. Bij een volgende gelegenheid zal ik een paar foto’s maken.

Op 21 mei 2023 hier via Social Deal gegeten. Het eten was echt heerlijk. De sate was goed van smaak evenals de satesaus. De Tapas waren allemaal heerlijk. De bediening was vriendelijk en gastvrij. Het restaurant zelf zag er schoon en netjes uit. Parkeren is op zondag na 17.00uur gratis in de directe omgeving. Overdag wel erg duur om te parkeren. Al met al een aanrader. We zullen hier zeker vaker gaan eten.

Heerlijke varkenshaas sate, lekkere pindasaus, knapperige kroepoek, vers stokbrood, vriendelijke bediening, gezellige atmosfeer. Goede kwaliteit prijs verhouding, wel waard om te bezoeken, ik kom weer terug!

Ontzettend goed eten, aardig personeel, werken hard, het eten is altijd snel klaar. Daarnaast is de hoeveelheid eten ook meer dan voldoende wat je krijgt. Prijs kwaliteit is echt top!!!

Voor de beste Saté in het centrum moet je bij Satehuis zijn, alle keren dat ik het heb gehad was het erg goed, echt een aanrader!

40min gewacht op ons "voorgerecht"...stokbrood met kruidenboter, vervolgens 20min later het hoofdgerecht pas gekregen, onacceptabel, als je het drukker met je bezorgingen hebt dan het bedienen van de tafelgasten, gaat er structueel iets mis het restaurant. Eten was prima , niks mis mee, heerlijke saté.

Beste vega sateh ever! Alles wordt gegrild op open vuur, super lekker. Geen hippe tent, gewoon lekker eten. Bediening was niet heel snel maar t was topdruk met de bezorgingen, dus begrijpelijk.

Laatst hier gegeten met het gezin, personeel was enorm vriendelijk! Eten smaakte fenomenaal en de porties voor de prijs is zeker niet om te klagen. Wij komen hier vaker!
