AMAZING! An incredible place surrounded by kind people; they even offered help with our meal choices without asking! I recommend it and will be back. This break wasn't on my itinerary, but I absolutely don't regret this fantastic stay. There's even an outdoor terrace, which we really enjoyed! Thank you sincerely.

Had a great meal with 10 people. It is advisable to book in advance. If you are with a larger group, you can choose selectively.

We came here because it was advertised as Molukan restaurant. Lookan at the menu it was more or less 95% Indonesian instead of Molukan(Melanesian). Nevertheless we ordered the luxury Indonesian ricetable to sample most of the dishes. We enjoyed our diner but where not impressed. The service and hospitality of the server, cook and other personal was awesome. Price👍🏽

Delicious food with good service and cozy atmosphere

I felt like eating rice table again and after some searching I ended up here. Had the extensive rice table and it was really delicious, so much different and we really enjoyed it together. The dessert pandan ice cream with spekkoek was also very good, delicious Indonesian beer and I left rolling. This place is highly recommended.

Ordered: nasi kuning, ikan rica rica, sajoer lodeh and sambal goreng tempeh. Good food, although the taste of the ikan rica rica was disappointing; very sweet and not the rica rica taste. Looked more like the spice mix of the sambal goreng tempeh. Tasty but not rica rica...

The food here is sooo delicious! Not normal. Truly authentic Indonesian cuisine. The service also does their utmost to make your evening complete. The chef even came to ask everyone if they were happy. Absolutely great!

It was my first time at this restaurant, I am certainly used to restaurants, so I noticed that the recording differed from what was served. Possible miscommunication or uncertainty on the part of the service, but other than that it was special that our satay had also changed plates (bacon satay and chicken satay). The food tasted good, well prepared and above all tasty. The price/quality could be slightly better. I thought the amount of meat was lean, but the by-products were too much. When paying, there was no excuse for first serving incorrectly and then changing the skewers. I also only saw the menu offers here, the internet menu is different from the current offer.

Eating is just like at mom's house. However, I am itching to help raise this to a professional level in terms of atmosphere and service. Taking orders, registering reservations and promoting the culture and love for the profession and for the food is unfortunately lacking.

Two years ago my experience at this restaurant was excellent, with a perfect balance of flavors that represented Indonesian cuisine well; the dishes were tasty and seasoned just right. The presentation was also attractive. However, on my recent visit I noticed a marked decline in quality. The dishes were greasy and overly sweet, partly due to the excessive use of kecap manis. The names of the dishes also no longer seemed to match what I remembered. I doubt whether these are still authentic Indonesian dishes. This is a shame, because visually the dishes are now less inviting and seem mainly greasy. This is a photo of dinner from two years ago. Now that has disappeared. Everything has now become too sweet due to the soy sauce, not tasty, and greasy.

They provided the catering at a party, which was really unusual! Nice surprising snacks were delivered throughout the evening, beautifully presented. Everyone I spoke to afterwards talked about it, highly recommended!

Things just always go wrong. Food would be good if everything in your order is complete and you have no allergies. They take allergens anything but seriously here. Very bad.

We had another delicious meal from the kitchen of Senang Makan. Everything is freshly prepared & made with love and you can taste it. We always order a rice table for 2 people and often have food left over for the next day. Even my gluten and milk allergies are always taken into account. The marinades are gluten-free and gluten-containing ingredients are omitted upon request. The staff is extremely friendly. It's always a party for us, a rice table from Senang Makan. There are also workshops to prepare Moluccan dishes at home. Nice that the owner is always coming up with new initiatives. Keep up the good work!

Not really an Indonesian by my standards. Satay sauce was good. We had a rice table for 7 people and we scraped every bowl empty, which was quite a bit. We had to wait at least an hour and saw the Home Delivery orders flying out the door. The joke was that we would have done better at their address.... everyone drank a soft drink and it was € 35.00 pp. and therefore not value for money. We're not going to make a habit of this.

Picked up food for the second time at Easter. What delicious food! More than enough, it lasted 2 days. Authentic flavors, delicious dishes. You can immediately taste that everything is freshly made with love. It's not necessarily cheap, but we're certainly willing to pay for this quality of food! The staff is super friendly and thinks along with you about the quantities you need. Do you want good food? Be sure to order!

Requested last minute Moluccan catering for my birthday in Amsterdam. What a TOP service! We had a delicious meal, more than enough and the fried mackerel, highly recommended. But everything was super tasteful. As my Moluccan father so beautifully said: I have never eaten so well. So for anyone who is still in doubt, feel free to order from Senang Makan!

Our son ordered food yesterday: rendang sambal goreng beans, 2 noodles and satay tempe and cucumber sweet and sour. sorry it wasn't edible. Bami was black with soy sauce with a lot of oil and tempeh, too black, too many beans cooked and a lot of tomatoes, tasteless. Only ate sweet and sour cucumbers and white rice and satay, everything else was thrown in the trash. Spent a lot of money and put our name Moluccans on the window. I don't agree. Very unfortunate, I would actually like my money back

Had a rice table with a number of meat dishes, vegetable dishes, 2 types of satay (delicious bacon satay) and 2 types of rice (white and nasi kuning). Rijsttafel was the main course. The menu consisted of a starter with various fried snacks; dessert was Pandan ice cream and pandan waffle. The restaurant has been expanded with a kind of conservatory where we sat with a view of the garden. Assume that this can also be used when the weather is nice. All tables were occupied and there was a pleasant atmosphere. There was a lot of noise from all the talking at the tables. You have to be aware of that. The staff is super friendly and the chef comes to the table to ask if everything is to your liking. Excellent restaurant with an authentic look and menu.

Hele aardige mensen die ons goed hebben geholpen en het eten was echt heerlijk. Vooral de saté was niet normaal!

Heerlijk gegeten. Heerlijke smaken de Indonesische keuken. Nette bediening. Voor gehaaste mensen niet reserveren het kan wat langer duren voor je de gerechten op tafel krijgt 15 tot 20 minuten. Gerechten netjes opgemaakt en zeker voldoende. Het parkeren lukt niet goed voor de deur maar de wijk prima hooguit 5 tot 10 minuten lopen. Als je echt Indonesische wil eten DOEN!!

Zojuist eten afgehaald, 2 bakjes nasi goreng besteld. Ik controleerde de bestelling en zag dat er 1 grote bak in mijn tas zat. Ik gaf mevrouw achter de kassa aan dat ik 2 bakjes nasi had basteld en of ze mij 2 bakjes kon geven. Ze had van die grote 2 kleine gevuld maar ze waren voor de helft gevuld. Vind 15,- eur voor 2 kleine bakjes en dan nog voor de helft gevuld erg duur. Heb eerder een paar keer besteld en toen waren ze wel goed gevuld. Net gebeld naar ze en mevrouw zegt, "oh ze waren wel goed gevuld hoor, ik heb ze zelf gevuld"! Ze ging met mij in discussie en was onvriendelijk. Voor mij de laatste keer dat ik hier eten heb afgehaald.

Het eten is heel lekker en vriendelijk personeel maar je staat altijd erg lang te wachten voor het klaar is. Ze geven een tijd door maar vervolgens mag je nog 20 min wachten. Is al jaren zo.

Voor mijn verjaardag, in dit restaurant de aanwezige ruimte gereserveerd voor mijn feestje met 24 personen en 2 hele kleine kinderen, op een zondagavond. Wat een ontzettend warm welkom bij aankomst! Wat een fijne ruimte om daar een feestje te geven, zelfs met een deur naar terras, waar gebruik van werd gemaakt ivm het mooie herfstweer. Het eten was ontzettend lekker, ik kreeg hierover zoveel complimenten, die eigenlijk voor de kok bedoeld zijn! De bediening is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Alles klopte precies met wat er afgesproken was. Maar het ontzettend heerlijke eten overtrof zelfs mijn verwachtingen. Bedankt alle medewerkers van Senang Makan,

Eten is extreem lekker, maar bakje tempeh is wel echt heel klein voor 6 euro, zeker in vergelijking met de portiegrootte van de gelijk geprijsde sambal goreng boontjes en overheerlijke sayur lodeh.

Het interieur zou beter kunnen maar komt om te eten en dat was fantastisch.

Eenvoudige ambiance, maar het gaat om het eten en dat was overheerlijk. De bediening is heel vriendelijk en de eigenaar komt geregeld een praatje maken en ziet er op toe dat iedereen het naar de zin heeft. We waren met een gezelschap van dertien personen en de gerechten behorende bij een traditionele Indische maaltijd werden meer dan voldoende geserveerd. Kortom, we hebben genoten!

Echt authentiek en overheerlijk eten uit de molukse keuken. Personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk. De ambiance van het restaurant is eenvoudig en netjes. Parkeren is lastig aan een doorlopende weg. Helaas door (denken we) te weinig personeel (op zondag) lang moeten wachten op onze bestelling die we telefonisch hebben doorgegeven. 1 dame nam telefonisch de bestellingen aan, nam ook bestellingen aan van mensen die niet hadden gebeld en hielp mee in het restaurant met de eigenaar. De eigenaar hielp in de keuken, in het restaurant en met de bestellingen klaarzetten. Kleine 45 minuten gewacht op onze bestelling die we op een afgesproken tijdstip konden ophalen met welgemeende excuses van de ontzettend vriendelijke eigenaar. Als ze dit op orde hebben dan zeker 5 sterren waard!

We hebben er lekker gegeten. De eigenaar kwam zelf even een praatje maken en vragen of alles naar wens was. Zeker een aanrader.

Wij halen hier altijd af, echt fantastisch lekker. Ook als vegetariër een feestje, de vega rijsttafel is top.

Ter plaatse gegeten, samen met broer en zus. Gezellig, huiselijk, vriendelijke personeel. Wel gedateerd (inrichting) Het allerbelangrijkste is HET ETEN. Een DIKKE 10+. Zooo heerlijk gegeten. Alsof mijn moeder in de keuken het eten had gekookt. 👍👍ik kan het iedereen aanbevelen!!!! ❤

Heerlijk gegeten, vriendelijk personeel! Alleen de aankleding van t restaurant kan nog wel wat beter, het is nu wel erg sober (en waarom op de ene tafel wel en de andere tafel helemaal geen vrolijk gekleurd tafelkleed ligt, is mij n raadsel)!

Sfeervol restaurant met zeer vriendelijke bediening en héérlijke gerechten voor een schappelijke prijs. Zeker een restaurant waar we vaker zullen gaan eten.

Heerlijk Moluks eten. Hele mooie authentieke smaken. Absolute aanrader. Niet alleen als afhaal maar ook om gezellig binnen in het restaurant een vorkje te prikken!
