It's a very delicious beef rice bowl ^^

Certainly not bad, but also not particularly good.

It's a small, cozy, and warm place. The noodle soup was full of flavor and filling. We also had a delicious taro ice cream drink. I recommend letting the ice cream scoop melt for an amazing drink! I wouldn't say it's cheap, but it's certainly not expensive. Fresh, tasty, and we'll definitely be back!

ive been coming here for a good 10 years and it never once disappointed me, they changed their name recently and i was relieved to find out its still the same staff and menu (some changes but my favorite dish was unchanged), i recommend this place to everyone and i can say for sure its my favorite place to eat at in the city, the price is relatively cheap compared to other ramen places in the city and the flavour is better than a lot of other (more expensive) places ive ate at, the staff is always wonderful and nice and you dont have to wait too long for the food, the place is small but i like that about it, it makes it feel more personal than other franchises, will always have a special place in my heart! big love to the staff!

I can't believe I haven't discovered this place before. I went there yesterday for the first time, and I can honestly say this is my new favourite spot! The atmosphere was great, as was the food. Prices were really good and portions were bigger than expected. I absolutely loved the vegetarian don, and according to my partner, the kitsune ramen was just as good. We even got a cute keychain as we spent over 50 euros.

The food is delicious, the atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and cozy. The staff is friendly and hospitable. Definitely recommended – I'll definitely be back!

The Miso seafood Ramen and Abura Soba with beef taste light but very delicious. Seafood Ramen has so much diversed ingredients, and soup is just yummy ! The Staff is very friendly and nice! We come on Friday early afternoon and there’s very few guests, we enjoy the meal very much!

A friend told me that there is a SET in Rotterdam similar to The Hague, but I think only the decoration is a bit similar. The service and food quality are very poor. The bamboo shoots feel undercooked and the taste seems to have gone bad😝🤮. The green tea drinks are also bland, which is really a pity.

The real wasn’t the same as my image. The Abura soba isn’t completely the same as original Abura soba in Japan and advertising. When a staff served my Abura soba, I doubt if it’s mine!? The taste isn’t good as well. I don’t know the other meals. But I will not go there anymore. In addition. (24/03/2025) They called me as “keyboard warrior”. This is everything. You can know their hospitality with this word.

I often go to Set Restaurant in The Hague. About a week ago I have an appointment with a friend to Rotterdam shopping. So my friend and I went to Set Restaurant in Rotterdam to eat. The menu is very nice and different from Set The Hague. I ordered pork ramen. It tastes exactly the same as the restaurant in The Hague. Delicious and reasonably priced. Is better than Takumi ramen across the street. My friend orders Abura soba. She said the taste is a bit bland, maybe the chef added too little sauce, and my friend asked the staff to add more sauce. After that the taste is much better. Rotterdam Set restaurant food is good, but unfortunately I find that the staff is not very professional, they are not very friendly and do not have work clothes, it looks like a backward Chinese restaurant and it is a bit dirty.

Japanese restaurant with an intimate and cozy atmosphere, perfect for tasting hotpot! Soft lights, excellent service and typical products of Japanese cuisine. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Good location, but very outdated and the tent looks amateurish and without atmosphere. Excellent ramen, but the (few) toppings were not fresh: canned corn, boiled chicken and noodles that were too soft. Since then I have also had a lot of stomach problems. Not recommended. Was surprised by the positive reviews. On the other side you can eat much better, with fresher food and a better ambiance!

Set Noodle Rotterdam is a nice place! The atmosphere is cozy and the food is tasty and well priced. There is always enough space and the staff is very friendly. I will definitely come back here!

I've eaten ramen at various places in Rotterdam, but no one makes it as tasty as this place! The volcano chicken ramen is really delicious! The interior is in need of an update, and it quickly becomes very warm inside, so investing in good air conditioning is definitely a must.

I love this place! The most delicious Hot Pot I've ever tried. Favorite broths are spicy and cheesy. The broth comes with a set of vegetables, mushrooms, meat, etc, rice and sause. You can order something extra, but we were always full with the standard set. One Hot Pot is ideal for two people. They bring Hot Pot with all the filling inside the broth, which is not very good, since it gets ready at the same time and you have to eat everything very fast or it'll overcook. The place is a bit small, so it’s inconvenient to come with a large group. Still highly recommended! An update. I went there again. They have Hot Pot for 4!

Food was over all blend. Dishes did not looked like the pics on the menu. Seafood Ramen had no body or depth, nothing was fresh, frozen seafood mix, canned corn, I doubt the blend stock was home made. There is a 100× better option for Ramen across the street.

Posted 1-1-2020 The Ramen is pretty good for the price. Update 1-3-2024 The prices have gone up and are now almost the same as other restaurants like Tukami and Saporo. In my opinion, it's not worth going here anymore.

The food is super bland. We ordered beef don and they barely tasted like anything. They were also served cold. No alcohol on the menu.

They were playing Baka Mitai over the speakers and the food was both amazing and super affordable, one of the best spots in Rotterdam.

Food is not special, it is oke. Not too spicy, not too sweet, or too salt. Quick service! Nice ambiance. Nice Japanese things in the restaurant. Clean toilet. Service is with a clicksystem at the bell. Vegan/vegetarian option available!

My favorite ramen place, the best place for a date! I was here yesterday (sunday 03/12/2023) and as always my favorite bowl (pork volcano ramen) tasted amazing. As for the review below mine, i've seen what happened and it's unfair to the employees as they only did their job. They dropped their bowl by accident, but were stunned when they had to pay for another one. This is a restaurant! Ofcourse you have to pay for what you order. Regardless if you ate it or not! I hated the way those girls slightlt laughed about the situation.. made my blood boil. Disrespectful of them! Not the employees fault here. To me, SET noodle is my favorite place, the best service and me&my boyfriend will always come back to eat here! ❤️

Atmosfera perfeita para um jantar a dois, o serviço é simpático e respeitador, têm um botão para quando queiramos chamar o empregado, a comida em relação a preço qualidade está muito bem.

Een van de beste Japanse restaurant van Rotterdam. Ik kom hier regelmatig en er hangt een hele fijne en relaxte sfeer. Je hebt echt het gevoel dat je in een restaurantje in Japan zit. Eten is van goede kwaliteit en je krijgt een goede portie. Op de foto is een Chicken Volcano Ramen met udon, extra ei en extra kip te zien. Daarnaast neem ik altijd Gyoza en een Calpis drankje. Ik heb nergens anders nog in Nederland van deze kwaliteit Japans eten gegeten. Wat ook heel handig is voor mensen met allergieën dat er op de menukaart aangegeven wordt wat erin zit. Bediening is daarnaast ook heel vriendelijk en snel. Zeker een aanrader als je in Rotterdam komt.

I had the beef teriyaki & the cold matcha, which were both delicious! The beef felt like premium quality, the match was perfectly balanced. Great place and great prices!

Tried hotpot here for the first time and it exceeded my expectations by far. It was absolutely delicious, the people who served us were lovely and it's a nice and small restaurant

Very good experience voor a great price. Food was all well marinated, tasty and even quite creative. These were not the most common options at normal Japanese restaurants. Paid just over €20 each, even including the sukiyaki. Definitely recommend just to try some unusual dishes. Will try the ramen some other time.

Very lovely little Diner. They serve ramen aswell as rice dishes. They have chicken, pork and seafood. The prices are not too high and you get a full meal. The quality of the food is good. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Always feels nice walking in here. Coming here for six years now and this is one of my favorite places. I recommend placing a reservation if you come with a group. Their Chicken Curry is very good! Highly recommend this place! Update: added more photos of different dishes.

Heerlijk gegeten bij Set Noodle Rotterdam! Ik kende Set van Den Haag, maar deze van Rotterdam doet daar niet voor onder. Het menu lijkt ook anders dan die van Den Haag. Leuke Japanse sfeer en vriendelijke bediening! Dit keer gekozen voor de super spicy Lava Volcano Ramen (met rundergehakt) en de Udon noodles. De noodles waren dik, maar perfect gaar. De smaak van de broth was uitstekend! Ook qua pittigheid was het goed te doen. Heb heerlijk genoten van Set Rotterdam en zal hier zeker terugkomen!

A bit hidden, first glance doesn't look open. This place is a good example of affordable meals, but don't expect much quality. We ordered gyudon, the beef barely had any taste and the bowl was filled with a lot of rice, the ratio meat:rice is way off... The beef even had small bits of bones and inedible tendons. Ordered taro latte as our drink, the taro was made from powder. It wasn't mixed properly so there were many lumps of powder at the bottom. Got a "sorry". Thanks, but no thanks.

It was just a fate to find this place, we were searching the place where to eat by walking on a street, and suddenly I noticed hidden (kinda) door,firstly we thought it's a drinks shop but after we were surprised to see that it's a nice restaurant where you can eat noodle soup(exactly what we were searching for).Well, it was worth to visit this place-rich bullion,amazing texture, huge portions. My recommendations!!!
