A gem of a restaurant. A warm and friendly atmosphere reigns supreme here. This is also the perfect place for a delicious meal. Reasonable pricing. Hospitality and expertise are paramount here. The staff are very friendly, helpful, enthusiastic, and above all, extremely professional. Located in the picturesque capital of Zeeland, Middelburg. Without a doubt, highly recommended. A top location!

We had bitterballen with mustard and two glasses of white wine. We were served with care. The welcome was charming, the atmosphere pleasant.

Thumbs up to the staff! They also have a good menu. I really enjoyed the smash burger.

Unfortunately, the barmaid was very unfriendly and aggressive because we were “in the way”.

Our group was immediately scolded upon entering for being "in the way" (in an empty bar). I would immediately fire the waitress from last night if I were the owner. It was antisocial and rude to treat paying customers like that. Especially one of the girls behind the bar.

I've been going to Sev for years, like everyone else in Middelburg, but I ate there for the first time yesterday. We had a shared dinner with my friends and it was delicious!! Highly recommended for a casual bite to eat with a beer! The atmosphere is always great too!

Really incredibly nice and unique place. You expect a standard menu at a tourist spot on a square, but it was full of unique dishes, lots of good vegan and vegetarian options, and all very good prices too! We were helped quickly and well, despite it being busy. Would drive to Zeeland especially for it! It was really delicious!

Went in with my sister to eat something. The menu is small, but there are enough dishes. The dishes are tasty, well served. I had a burger with duck, my sister had something vegan. Decent service.

Unbelievable as long as 'Sev' has been around. We used to go there for a sandwich when we were slushing. We went there to celebrate Christmas Eve and nowadays you can enjoy super tasty food there. For a very good price!

Eigentlich ein tolles Lokal. Der Service ist super, die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Aber leider sind die Preise total daneben. Die Käseplatte verdient den Namen nicht. Der Kellner wusste immerhin, welcher Käse serviert wurde, aber die vier Stückchen waren doch arg teuer.

Saturday around 1:00 PM, I asked the male waiter outside where I could order, and he suggested I do so outside on the street. It's admirable how inclusive the hiring process nowadays that anybody can find a job.

Always nice to drink some water in the late hours. Open until the late hours and always with fellow waterists. Price is very good compared to other water shops next to it. My favorite hydration establishment in Middelburg

Best bar in town and surroundings

We had to wait for over 30min for a cup of tea. We asked 4 times where it is. Same waitress who served us said everytime: - oh we don't have mint tea- so instead of asking another tea, she just didn't bring - oh you didn't get after we asked 3rd time - it's very busy and can't change anything anymore Horrible service, rude! She didn't even apologise. She can be fired! Dark blonde hair till sholders, gen Z!

i made a reservation specifying that there were two vegetarians and two people who ate meat, hoping that they would bring us two separate courses. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, we had to argue with the waitresses who told us it wasn’t possible and that they would only bring one course, with the dishes being separate. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case because on the tray of vegetarian items, there were some things with fish. As a vegetarian, I found this very disappointing. The portions were extremely small for four people, and the price was very high! Additionally, we had to ask to have our glasses changed a couple of times because they were dirty, but even after they were changed, the problem remained. The teaspoons and tea cups were also dirty. Overall, it was a bad experience, and we definitely won’t be going back! very disappointed !

Sehr nette kleine Bar mit super freundlichere Bedienung und sehr leckerem Essen. Die Karte ist zwar klein aber sehr fein. Ich würde die Spare-Ribs empfehlen ;-) Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut spitze! Und dazu klasse Musik

This bar was a staple back in the days when i lived close by. Friendly staff, nice drinks and cheap! If you want to have a good time, you should definitely go here! But now they are also serving food. My friends little sister Roos created a very nice and outstanding menu! I knew she can cook but didn’t expected this! The food was to share, which was perfect! Its not the typical “bitterballen” snack menu, but something way more delicious! Everything was really amazing and affordable! I am an espresso martini lover and this one was made to perfection (i recommend brown rum instead of vodka, that is just how i like it!). Definitely recommend everyone to have a try! Menu was definitely made with lots of Zeeland Love! Don’t get shocked by the total price (see receipt). We stayed here for 5 hours with lots of drinks 😌

For lunch we enjoyed delicious pancakes with oyster mushrooms in a very nice atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Falafel pocket with hummus as well as fries with spicy mayonnaise and a small salad are highly recommended. Price/performance ratio at €11.00 is really great. Minus point: Card reader looked very worn and didn't work despite having a Dutch bank card, so I had to pay with cash after three attempts.

Heel slecht personeel. Je besteld 6 jack cola voor 45 euro en je krijgt 6 goedkope Poolse whisky alsof je in een Turks ALL in resort zit. Als je er vervolgens wat van zegt verklaren ze je voor gek. NIET naartoe gaan mensen!

Came here by chance but what a joy! A boss at the top level of welcome, excellent service, we hardly had to wait even though there were a lot of people. Absolutely divine cuisine and prices that would have deserved double. A big congratulations to the whole team and particularly to the kitchen team, we had a great time!!!

Was there yesterday. The worst service I had in Middelburg!😠 The guy behind the bar in a checkered shirt told me they don’t except visa, after I came and they excepted! But the worst is that my phone was dead, and I saw the charger by the computer, but the guy was looking at my eyes and said he don’t have!🤬🤬🤬

Do not ask for any cocktail…. They are not good made and very very soft. Not worth at all. For bear is ok.

The waitress doesn't seem to like German guests. When I asked him something in German he immediately became very rude. He had time with other guests who spoke Dutch.

Unfortunately the service wasn't good at all. We waited a long time to order, our cappuccino and latte macchiato didn't arrive at the same time and then we wanted to pay straight away and had to wait a very long time again. Both drinks tasted very good, hence 2 stars

Nice, casual pub, a household name in Middelburg. Simple but excellent beer list and recently also the option to have a bite to eat. Music is heavy so you have to like it. A real no-nonsense affair.

Seventy-seven is in my opinion a wildcard compared to other cafés/pub's in Middelburg. It can be very calm and can get very busy, but it's always a pleasure to go there! The people that work there are usually ready for a talk and the food, while nothing special, is very good and tasty! There's also a huge assortment of alcoholic beverages and even though I don't drink, they do look tasty!

I really enjoy this cafe ,the staff is really helpful as well as cooperative and that's why it's one of my favourite places to visit

Small café with little things to eat. We had two drinks and two dishes: falafels with pide and hummus with fried vegetables. We were more than satisfied with both dishes. We also wanted to try the other dishes that were served at other tables. Great price/performance ratio.

What a great pub! Nice people, tasty beers and great music! A brown pub, with modern vibes!

The 77 is and remains my favorite café, it is a little different than most, not so super-fine and has therefore retained a lot of charm. The toilets are dark, sure, but I don't go there because of them. There are delicious sandwiches and coffee with an oat drink, which is not necessarily common in Domburg, not yet.

Super nice tent! Good music and nice staff. Especially that tall boy with curls is great! Really a genuinely nice guy. I would love to come back for a nice beer

Lovely stayed here on the terrace after a long walk through beautiful Middelburg. A cozy and busy terrace. Despite the crowds, the reception and service are friendly and correct. The ordered snack board was well filled with delicacies and definitely worth it.

Unfortunately, even after 30 minutes, there was no service in sight. A pity!

Friendly service, take the weather into account and raise the parasols on time when it rains. They played very nice rock music when I was there.

We had a drink here last week and ordered a sandwich. The sandwiches were completely dry-roasted. Crumbled as soon as I picked it up. Service was very disinterested and it took half an hour before we received our order. This while only 3 other tables were occupied. The toilet... It's indescribable. Or rather... Everything near the toilet is defaced with rude texts. That's still possible for a pub, but everything was just extremely gross. Everything was wet (there was a strong smell of urine). We ran out of toilet paper and the toilet would no longer flush. Also no soap to wash your hands. All in all, it is better to sit at one of the neighborhood cafes.

Came in with my brother to enjoy a night out, we got served by an extremely outgoing young Greek girl. Also very nice music and is not overpriced like most of the places around.

Oh my God! I wouldn't eat anything here. I went to the toilet and couldn't see anything in the place. Everything is dark and not clean. The toilets are worse than in a secondary school. Everything fully lubricated. The tables were full of grease and dirt... that was really nothing.

Very long wait, very expensive, untrained staff, wrong dishes and drinks are brought. Probably a nice place to go out but not to have drinks and food during the day.
