Great food&service! We saw too late that the online service was exclusively take away but got a call back from the employee. She then came over personally to bring us the food, which was extraordinary nice, really appreciate that! Pls go there and enjoy!

Very quick and relatively cheap, but the food is not that good. Especially the spring rolls, no idea how they managed to screw those up

This is unacceptable! I have been waiting for my food for 2 hours and it has not arrived !!! We have an email confirming our order and no delivery guy has showed up! Do not recommend at all, it was a waist of my time and money!!! Horrible service

Employees drive in walking areas of the New Defense. If you tell them that they are not allowed to drive there, you will get a brutal response.

The hot food was cold, the delivery took over an hour and a half, and it was wrong. It was just disgusting, not fresh. I advise everyone against ordering from here. Sushi from Albert Heijn is 100x better, and you save a ton of money. Never again.

I went to Shabu and I really liked both food and service. I ordered at the counter and it was delivered super fast, less than 10mins wait. I had the salmon box and asked for separate flamed salmon nigiri... The flamed salmon nigiri os really a blast, really really good, worth the extra money.

When ice-cold food is delivered!! And if you don't live on the ground floor, you can pick up your food downstairs... so if you have food delivered, you will ultimately get cold food from which you can pick up your own food... Bah Bah

The food was reallly good, but I wonder why the bubble tea is chunky looking

Got some real nice sushi here yesterday. I really liked the rice it tasted very fluffy which made the sushi even more delicious!

Ordered at nine o'clock in the evening via home delivery, still didn't receive anything at eleven o'clock at night. Money was debited from my account, home delivery cannot be reached, tried several times to reach the restaurant via telephone/contact form. No reaction. Scammers.

Food (pokebowl) is OK but could be better

Helpful employee who immediately started helping us. The food was ready quickly and we took it home. The only thing we didn't like was that our poke bowls contained a lot of lettuce. Everyone has their own taste, but we liked it a little less. We have been very satisfied with the food and service everywhere.

Delicious sushi with nice fresh products. The avocado in the sushi is exactly as an avocado should be!

Ordered food from this place. The delivery person was urinating (wildly) in front of the entrance of my building. When I pointed this out to him, he said that I should mind my own business and was completely verbally abused. So we won't do this anymore.

Accidentally ordered collection from the city center branch instead of Leidsche Rijn. Called to indicate that no one would come pick up the order anymore. Received a nice lady on the phone who indicated that they would bring it to work. Super!

You don't even get cutlery to eat it with, even though you can indicate that you want it when ordering. The food, on the other hand, is tasty, but other branches are much better.

I'm normally not that fussy with food, but this food was really not tasty. It wasn't fresh, tasted like it had been made the day before. Sushi had no taste at all and the fried things were completely soggy. You expect fried chicken to be crispy, but they were very wet, soggy pieces. They also had no marinade, but there was a sauce that made them 'sweet'. I was super hungry when I received it, partly due to the delivery taking over an hour, but I really couldn't eat most of the things. It was also super expensive. Never again for me.

Very bad food and bad service! The food was not delivered complete and tasted very bad. The ginger in the sushi smells and tastes like soap. If you ask for a refund for food that has not been delivered, you then have to chase your money. This place is a real waste of money!

Ordered bubble tea 🤢 no taste. And snacks 😰😰😰😰😰 never again and waited a long time for such bad food and drinks.

Sushi was great! but extremely disappointing service. I had placed a pick up order and arrived for pick up when the server at the Utrecht location held my order away from me giving me a lecture on how "you should never be 10 minutes late, be on time next time"... Avoid Shabu Utrecht and go to Leidsche Rijn instead.

Bad sushi! If you want really good sushi, go to koi sushi on Domplein Utrecht

Have had SHABU sushi delivered a number of times now. I'm very satisfied with it. Tasty sushi, with many variations. The dragon rolls in particular do very well at our house! Also nice: SHABU has (so far) adhered to the requested delivery time. And that is often hard to find among other sushi deliverers.

My go to take out for Sushi in Utrecht. Always visit when I am in the area. Grat selection, good service, especially online setup for Covid ordering.

First time that I ordered from this place, hoping for a 4.5 stars sushi quality, but instead we got a poor in taste and quality sushi box and gyozas. The tuna was hard as a sole of a shoe, the salmon smelled like plastic, and the rice was overcooked. Other than the taste, the sushis were poorly cut (dif sizes) and it was a sad dinner.

Very good service! Ordered from Den Dolder, no problem at all. Gluten allergy was very well taken into account. We were even called afterwards to ask whether certain ingredients could be used or not. It was also very tasty! I will definitely order here more often.

Shabu helped with a QR code from them because it is official and social deal never says that you have to make a reservation before ordering. Couldn't go there for anything else. But Monday was quiet, but it was still possible to help

Just picked up box B, with discount code. Quality was very substandard. We threw away 40% of the box because it made us feel sick. No more Shabu to go Utrecht Nachtegaalstraat for us.

Ordered sushi yesterday, the tuna mousse roll was not edible or smellable. It smelled and tasted like raw sardine! I called about this but the gentleman couldn't do anything about it and said that has always been the taste. I have often eaten at shabu to go and the restaurant itself and never tasted this flavor. Scandalous!

The teriyaki bowl is 90 percent cold noodles with some lost vegetables and the meat is terribly cheap. Dry and lots of gritty pieces and fat in it. Definitely not recommended. Delivery took an hour.

Ordered from Shabu quite often, you notice whether you order the sushi at 6:00 PM or at 8:00 PM, the sushi at 8:00 PM tastes very dry and as if it has been prepared in advance. For this price you expect it to always be fresh. -Delivery person/staff are always nice! (Update!) Shabu has solved it great to give a nice extra with the next order. Now very satisfied again 🎉
