Shanghai Apeldoorn in Zuidwest

I've had two very bad takeout experiences now. The kulujuk had definitely been fried before, inedible. Two layers of batter or so. I've picked it up regularly, but only once was it tasty and nice and hot. Yesterday was bad: the shrimp were limp and not crispy. Yuck. I'm going to find a better restaurant.

A good restaurant, especially the takeout section, which is always busy. The food is delicious and the selection is extensive. Highly recommended.

Ordered a buffet for the third time. Buffet C. It was, just like the previous times, delicious and very well-prepared. Everyone enjoyed the delicious buffet. Even the vegetarians had plenty of options. In short, compliments from the Bakarbessy and Beekman families. Excellent.

We've been coming here for years as a regular takeout. I always wondered how it could be ready so quickly, usually within 5 minutes and with a bag full of food out the door.

We ordered a package for 17 people here, but some of the dishes were quite small. Ultimately, we were able to supplement with nasi bami or mihoen, as there were plenty of those dishes. But if you're a fan of babi pangang, I'd recommend ordering more. The chicken curry was truly delicious. I've never had it this good before.

They have new black containers for pickup. They're incredibly small, just enough for one person!! Shameful, get out of there and go to Sheng-Li...

Very large portions (a combination dish with noodles) of excellent quality. I live in Nijkerk, but I get significantly less for my money there. I'd like to bring this place to Nijkerk. It's a shame that's not possible. I'll call them and give them my compliments. 😀 I'd love to come back.

I really appreciated that they had a clear separation in the menu between Indonesian Chinese food and Chinese Food. We ordered the Shang Hai rijsttafel set and really enjoyed everything it came with. We will definitely be back and bringing friends.

Staff was friendly and my order was ready very quickly. The tjap tjoy with beef unfortunately tasted like nothing at all. Foe Yong Hai with shrimps had a bit more flavor but was also very bland. The containers were well filled. Too bad.

Got food on Monday. The quality was not good. The chicken curry was not fresh and we threw it away. There was hardly any sauce on it. Our entire experience was not good so for us it was the last time we went there.

Excellent Chinese takeaway, but the tapas concept in the restaurant is nothing. Strange hassle with 3 different tickets, sushi not tasty, long wait for food from the wok. The advantage is that drinks are included in the price. Next time just pick up again. Friendly staff. Enough parking spaces at the rear.

It gets more expensive every time and you get less and less. Chicken satay used to come in a container full of sauce. Now just a little bit. Extra sauce costs 3 euros. Bami and nasi are tasty, as is the spring roll. But that satay is really a sad affair.

Place looks amazing, really clean and just wonderful, helpful and friendly service, but that’s about it for a good points. Food is bad, like really bad. How can fries be bad, you can surly ask the cook in this restaurant this question. Sushi doesn’t taste good, rice is crunchy from drying out and tempura inside it is burnt. The one and only dishes I found okey was biefstuk and wok with sweet sos. Chicken wings - you getting better in Lidl from frezer , thet looks the same even.

Slechte klantenservice, ik vroeg als navraag over het maandmenu of er bedoeld word met 2x kleine loempia's of het daadwerkelijk dus de 2x 4 stuks waren, reageert ze aangebrand. Uiteindelijk ga ik er heen om nog verduidelijking te vragen en aan te geven dat je als klamt dus denkt dat er inderdaad 2x4 loempia's in zitten. Zegt ze dat ik een zware discussie voer en dat ze al had gezegd dat het om 2 kleine loempia's en niet 2x een portie, echt zo on klantvriendelijk. Ipv dat ze zegt, go mevrouw wat vervelend dat u dat zo begrijpt we zullen het inderdaad even aanpassen.

Restaurant Shanghai is highly recommended! The tapas concept was a top choice and really surprised me. The value for money is excellent, especially because drinks are included in the price. The staff is friendly and works quickly, which makes the experience even better. We will definitely come back!

No longer recommended unfortunately. The food was tasteless, the meat was dry, the few drops of satay sauce on the satay were way too small, nothing tasted freshly prepared. Moreover, after driving 1 km by car, I could heat everything up in the microwave, as if the "cook" there could not handle a microwave, all much too lukewarm. Conclusion: faded glory, how we enjoyed it in the past, a shame.

Picked up Chinese food today, because the local Chinese restaurant in Beekbergen was closed for holidays. I don't know what has changed at this Chinese restaurant compared to the past when we got takeout here more often. but the food had no taste at all. We were helped quickly so the service is ok. Not recommended anywhere at the moment.

Babi pagang & noodles were of excellent quality and fortunately not too salted

My Chinese for years, never have anything to complain about.

It is a Chinese restaurant run by Chinese people. The white rice is not chewy. Taibai powder is added to almost every dish to increase the taste. The restaurant is clean and spacious inside.

What may have left something to be desired in the past, has been a wonderful experience in recent years. Good quality food for a good price. Excellent service makes your evening an experience.

This former wok restaurant has changed its concept. It is now a tapas restaurant with small Asian dishes. Was a success. The service was smooth and the dishes hot and tasty. They were also quick to serve the drink. Compared to the past, this is a big improvement. On August 31, 2024 we went to Shanghai again and were slightly disappointed. The food had become 'greasier' and less tasty. Apparently everything had to become a little cheaper. Too bad, but people are no longer doing well. Hence now a rating of 3 instead. 5 points.

The Chinese tapas were certainly tasty. Quite a wide choice. Service was friendly, but we were the only ones in the tapas restaurant area with 7 people, so the lady had plenty of time for us.

We picked up the food. There was no taste to it. The chicken curry consisted of boiled pieces of chicken fillet with a diluted curry sauce, the vegetable dish is standard, pieces of pepper, cabbage in a kind of jelly-like sauce, the foeyounghai contained more chicken fillet than egg, topped with the famous red sauce. Sorry, but the Chinese restaurants in general all have the same concept, red sauce, vegetables in jelly, with a boiled shrimp here and there to spice it up. Each dish contains large pieces of cooked chicken fillet. No, the Chinese is not what it used to be. Ready quickly and cheaply. Then go somewhere else, a little more expensive and a lot tastier.

I picked up food. Atmosphere of the location felt good. Service excellent. The food was very disappointing, I usually go to another takeaway, which was closed due to holidays. Shanghai seemed like a good alternative, but unfortunately that was not the case. My portion of Tjaptjoi was completely tasteless, the vegetables were almost raw. (with Tjaptjoi the vegetables should be slightly crunchy, but not raw) I definitely won't be going back here again.

Delicious spring roll with beef. A few days later we went for tapas. But this was very disappointing. The service was excellent, but the food just wasn't. The only thing was that drinks were included in the price. But didn't think it was worth the money for what we got. Next time, only get takeout from this restaurant, because that's good

Sour spring roll, fried rice, overcooked white rice, barely noticed the pan, babi pangang, one greasy, tasteless mess! Took it back and didn't get my money back! Ordered the same thing about 3 months ago and it was great!

Picked up a takeaway spring roll. Ordered 2 chicken spring rolls for €3.75 to pick up. 2 special spring rolls with beef. Employee kept insisting that we had ordered these and had to pay 15 euros. We did not agree, she kept insisting that she had no more money and then had to pay 10 euros for something I had not ordered, went to the kitchen, took out meat from both parts and had to pay 10 euros, it was inedible

1st and last time I picked up here. I found the taste very disappointing, there were pieces of eggshell in my Foe Yong Hai which didn't exactly chew well and the shrimp in tempura batter looked really bad. Not a second time for me, just go back to Hong Kong at Eagle Square. So much better.

Chose Asian tapas and pleasantly surprised. Enough choice of tasty dishes that were quickly served at the table. The drinks were also refilled very quickly by the attentive and very friendly service. Very satisfied!

After two good takeaways it was wrong yesterday. Ordered at 1230 and that may be the reason. Ordered Ajam Pangang and Foe Hai with chicken. Large pieces of chicken, yes, but lots of bones in them. Sauce for both dishes was tasteless and very similar. After careful searching, noodles contained a piece of leek. Too bad, always had good experience with it, even 30 or more years ago it was always up to. Hope it's fresh and more flavorful next time.

Food was nothing special. We had tapas including drinks, for 3 hours. 10 minutes before we left I ordered a beer and had to pay for it separately! Service is slow, you always have to ask for drinks yourself.

Ordered various dishes to take away here for the first time in years. Stew was fine and spicy enough, but unfortunately there was a lot of fat. Babi Pangang good but a bit on the bland side and the tomato soup a bit on the bitter side. Chicken satay was tasty, the peanut sauce was also great. We, an older couple in our late seventies, decided to eat tapas in Shanghai on Valentine's Day. The pleasant evening with delicious food ended with a cold shower. When paying, my husband discovered that he had left his debit card at home. He offered to pick him up, leaving his driver's license as collateral. This was not allowed. I had to stay behind. I was already standing in the hallway with my coat on, but nothing else was said, so I walked back into the restaurant and sat at the first empty table I found, waiting until my husband came back after about half an hour with a debit card. . It felt quite awkward. We have been to Shanghai four times within six months, but a 5th time is not possible for the time being.

Food delivered too late and the sauces and meat and satay were more room temperature than warm as they should be. Very unfortunate, it would have been better to throw the money away yourself.

Standard fixed takeaway quality. could have a little more flavor. Friendly staff. Went again on October 18, 2021 (collected). Now a completely tasteless bite. We ordered noodles Shanghai, so their name is attached to it. How very bad. So the last time was on 26/7/22. They learned something from it. The taste is fine now. Prices have risen by about 8% in the meantime. On 29/11/23 I got a special spring roll for 7.10 euros (quite expensive, taste is good). Had to pay at 7.30 because it was in a plastic container! When we got home, the container was made of pressed paper! New revenue model.

We ate here with the All-you-can-eat concept. You may order 2 dishes at a time, excluding side dishes. The menu is diverse and the food is served hot. The service is good. They keep a close eye on whether you still have something to drink and it didn't take more than 5 minutes (when my drink was finished) that they came by to ask if I wanted another drink.

Made use of the "tapas" menu. Sushi was chewy/hard...not fresh in any case. Rib eye from the grill was so tough that you couldn't get through it with a knife. Chewing was definitely not possible. Squid rings that taste like dough (frozen). Crystal in the ice. In any case, nasi was tasty and warm. Also some standard dishes. Employee seemed new/inexperienced. Everything could be just that little bit better.

We used the tapas menu. The wool part was tasty, but the sushi was mediocre, a bit dry and not fresh. Furthermore, the Chinese are very standard. You expect something slightly different or special with this concept. Also pay some attention to serving. How nice is it when you are offered your own choice. You then turn it into something beautiful instead of a kind of standard all you can eat restaurant.
