Mediocre lamb wrap, barely any seasoning or flavor and huge chunks that are hard to chew. The chickpea balls were okay though. Very bland all in all.

I had a great experience with my meal. I don't know why people are complaining about quantity, if you go anywhere in the foodhallen the portions are small and the food is expensive so ... My meal was so tasteful and the rice was cooked very well. From all the foods i have tried there this was the best cost benefit of them all.

My daughter is a fan of butter chicken. She loves the chicken at this place. All the guys are very polite and friendly, everything is always very tasty, huge portions.

Tried the chicken wrap and the chickpea wrap, both good! Chickpea could use a bit more flavour but still glad I got it. Good portion and made quickly as well

Tastless, watery and badly cooked. Never eten less Indian-like Indian food. Shame on you.

AVOID THIS PLACE…. Not sure what happened here, it used to be good and flavourful. Now you get treated with service like you are burden to them. Naan wrap was just curry and a simple salad like you would get with a snack bar kebab. No sauce added or offered. The filling of veggie curry was just loaded with turmeric which wasn’t even cooked out so just tasted like raw turmeric. Couldn’t even make it halfway through and had to throw it in the trash.

After walking a lottt and asking a lottt of people, we reached food hallen. Our son was longing for Indian food and that’s when we spotted Shirshah amongst the other oulets. We ordered butter chicken and rice. Though it didn’t taste like what we would get in India, it was a welcome relief for my son. Mr. Farhan was so kind that he even offered to give us a small quantity for just our son. God bless him. The 2 stars are just for him.

Microwaved pita. Tasteless butter chicken. Threw it out.

The food tastes good but the portions are too small for the asking price. Please, give bigger portions or lower the price. It’s definitely not in balance. The wrap was gone in two bites

I had no expectations and the food was tasty. However the stuff touched my food with bare hands while preparing it ,which is unhygienic. Also they misheard our order and they gave us something different from what we wanted (chickpea wrap instead of chickpea croquettes- side dish)

A waste of money and calories. The chicken tikka wrap was mediocre at best. Years ago the wrap was deliciously seasoned and spicy. This looks more like a weak attempt by a Dutch grandmother in the 1950s when the herbs and recipes were not yet available in the Netherlands but she tried to imitate the experience from India. In this day and age there is no excuse to serve such a poor copy of a tikka wrap. And not to mention the naan that was half raw even though there is a tandoor in the kitchen. Blegh

Overpriced but not good food! The Butter chicken wrap did not have any flavor and no other ingredients besides three pieces of old lettuce.

Food hallen atmosphere is fantastic and the food selection is fantastic. Loads of different places to choose from to suit every taste. The Butter chicken at Shirkhan was a great example

Came here just after closing time since I’d knocked off work very late. Even though they were closed the server offered me a butter chicken dish it seemed like he was saving for himselt. Cannot overexpress my gratitude, and the dish itself was absolutely delicious. Another time I’ve had their chicken tikka wrap which I can also highly recommend. Please check them out if you’re ever around ❤️

Best Indian street food around. As a Londoner, there are many Indian street food options back home and this tops them all! Must try this if visiting Amsterdam!

The staff was very kind but the butter chicken wrap was quite tasteless.

Worst Indian food I have ever had. -First they indicate having garlic naans :”no garlic naans sir; Normal naan is the same”. (Which real Indian guy has ever said that thinking this is true?!) -Secondly: no veg. Samosa………. -Thirdly:10€ for butter chicken with little or no taste. -Fourthly: 3€ for a plain naan.

I see that this place has kind of bad reviews? Even tho I’ve had a really good meal here. I ate a chickpeas baji wrap, and it was something i’ve never had - like a croquete made of chickpeas (not a falafel). However, overall I’ve had a good experience and you should try it if you have no other idea of what to order.

I will write what this place is not - It's not 'Mumbai street food's - It's not even 'Indian street food's. Indian street food is tasty. - The taste is simply bad. The lamb was chewy The only good thing was the hot sauce. Although not sure if they made it or it's store bought.

I came with low expectations and was not surprised. After all, this stall is basically beside a sushi stall and across from a hipster viet place. Got the butter chicken with rice and salad combo. The portion size was reasonable given the price paid. Food came lukewarm. From the perspective of eating chicken and rice with some red tomato based sauce, it was fair. But if you’re looking for actual Indian food with actual butter chicken—prepare to be disappointed.

Yes this is the Netherlands but seriously the most flavourless lamb tikka ever!! this could have passed for a greek lamb wrap with the lack of flavouring. No salt, no flavour, no spice, no chilli at all! The meat was super chewy too and not tenderised in any way!

My chicken tikka wrap tasted nice..chicken pieces were nice and mixed with onion in the naan style wrap was enjoyable. I could easily have had another!

Curry was okay, not very flavorful. Filling enough for a small child, but not for an adult.

Small portion. Nothing special. They left out the naan from my order. When I went over to ask for it they just told me they don't have any... Then why did I payed for it? Disappointing

Heerlijke lamb curry gegeten daar. Lam was heerlijk gegaard, voldoende rijst en salade erbij. De naan erbij was wel wat klein en droog.

Visitamos el Foodhallen y hay una selección de comida para elegir. Yo personalmente probé a Shirkhan y no me decepcionó. La comida era fresca y tenía mucho sabor. Encontré la porción de comida justo.
