Ordered food via Thuisbezorgd. It took about 80 minutes for it to arrive. Everything was well packed and still nice and warm (except for the samosa). The food was surprisingly tasty and the portion size was perfectly fine! I will be ordering from here more often!

Ordered for €60. This is what I received: - first of all, very little and does not match the photos. Many items were not delivered. - bread was dry Butter chicken container leaked

Very disappointing. I order here often and know what the standard portions look like. During the buy one get one free offer, I suddenly received two small containers of butter chicken instead of two standard large portions, plus only a small bowl of rice. In the end, it amounted to about one standard meal. Even worse: when I called the restaurant, they apparently thought this was perfectly normal “because it was on sale.” So during a promotion, you simply get less food, even though this is not clearly indicated anywhere. Incredibly misleading and really bad service.

We ordered food through Thuisbezorgd website for delivery as we are visiting the city. The delivery said 42mins which turned into almost 50mins. The naans were individually wrapped in foil and we ordered butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. For non desi eaters or 1st time ones it might pass the tasting test. But the tikka masala tasted like ketchup. More like chicken shashlik flavors. The butter chicken we had almost all over the world and this is absolutely not the worst but not good either. It was again tasted like ketchup with cream in it. It was too sweet! As well. I gave 3 stars for maybe an effort. The chicken soup had capsicum in it. Its 1st time in my life I had soup that had capsicum(bell pepper) in it. But taste wise it was good.

Generously portioned dishes, and they are accommodating with special requests. The food is very tasty and fresh. Definitely recommended!

HAIR IN THE FOOD! 45 MINUTES LATE! 23/04/2026 Ordered food. Chicken biryani and Butter Chicken. We found a hair in BOTH dishes. Fortunately, we noticed this and called the restaurant. They indicated that I would get my money back, but this did not happen. To remind them, I called again 3 or 4 times, and each time they say they will push it through or that it will be fine. I don't feel like chasing this up again, so I am writing a review, something I normally wouldn't do. Additionally, the food was supposed to be delivered at 20:00, but it arrived at 20:45.

Ordered through Thuisbezorgd. Had a horrible experience just like everyone else. The food only arrived after 2 hours. Without an apology. Two components of our dish were missing (no mixed vegetables and no mint sauce). ‼️We managed to get a full refund for the order. To anyone else who gets scammed by this restaurant, please annoy Thuisbezorgd to refund your order in full because they will!

Just like all the reviews, the delivery person was 1.5 hours late... 18:45 instead of 17:15. The food was delicious, but for us, it was too late to eat with two small children.

Been waiting more than 2 hours. I doubt the food is even coming. Can’t get through via phone. Save yourself the trouble and spend your money at a restaurant that actually deserves it.

I ordered a curry menu here and it didn't arrive until two hours later. The first shock came after opening the containers; it smelled like I was standing in a factory producing industrial solvents—it was that chemical. The color of the “butter chicken” was neon orange, and when we turned off the lights, the sauce almost burned in the dark—that’s how chemical it looked. Then came the taste of the food, and I won't waste too many words on it, but they should have called it Chernobyl chicken. Serving this to anyone is absolutely in violation of the Geneva Convention. After that, my stomach turned from an average lab into an abandoned barn in Brabant, where everything started boiling and bubbling and no one was in control anymore.

I ordered via Thuisbezorgd at 7 o'clock, the food was supposed to be there at 8 o'clock. Now it's 9:30!!! It's still not here. No updates anywhere and they are unreachable by phone. They just hang up immediately. Absolutely ridiculously bad, don't order here!!! Scumbag!!!

I placed an order on Sunday evening at 18:34. Subsequently, I received notifications for well over an hour and a half that my order was on its way. When it took a very long time, I tried calling several times, but the line was busy every time. Eventually, it was indicated that my order had already been delivered at 18:37. This is simply not true. I have a smart doorbell that records everything, and it is clearly visible on the recording that no one came by. I order here often, so my address is known and absolutely not difficult to find. There is one clear house number, and I do not share the entrance with anyone. What makes it even more frustrating is that the place is unreachable and that, despite the delivery problems on a busy Sunday, they simply leave the option to order open. It is a real shame, because the food is good. But this experience makes it difficult for me to order here again.

I ordered my food on a Saturday evening at 6:25 PM, but didn't receive it until 8:45 PM!!! You get cut off by phone and they are also incredibly hard to reach! Severely disappointed and they have completely lost me as a regular customer! If you can't handle 150 orders, then you shouldn't accept them! Quality comes first, and service is simply part of that!!

Man, this place has gone downhill. Abnormally poor quality with lots of containers of old food being heated up in the microwave. The stomach ache started just an hour after eating. Avoid this place like the plague!

Terrible experience. The service was completely unprofessional. Calls are either ignored or handled with clear disrespect. Either They don’t pick the call or they pick but don’t answer and keep it aside or they just insult the customer & cut the call. I won’t be ordering again—avoid this place if you value your time, money, and basic courtesy.

It's such a shame, I'm always satisfied with the food. Only now, I ordered through Thuisbezorgd and two containers had completely leaked, leaving only the meat inside, and the sauce was all loose on top and in the bag. This is also because we're observing Ramadan and ordered just in time to break our fast. Now the food has been divided. I contacted them, but little to nothing was done about it. I placed an order at 6:50 PM. By 8:49 PM, I still hadn't received anything. I called the restaurant, but at first, they didn't answer. Then, a woman answered the phone, who was unclear and didn't apologize or tell me when it would arrive. The food finally arrived at 9:00 PM, and it was lukewarm. Worthless.

I ordered the food 20:18 and it was supposed to be delivered to me between 20:58-21:15. Instead the food arrived at 22:45 after I had called the restaurant six times, the latest at 22:13. I can understand that it is bad weather, bad roads but the delivery guy could actually call and say that, that he was on his way. The food arrived when I was about to go to bed. It was way too late. The food was also cold even though it was wrapped in paper and a plastic bag and transported by car. The restaurant can do better next time!!

We used to eat there very often. The second to last time I had a stomach ache after the butter chicken. Then I ordered spicy beef nasi again and stuffed naan. My husband and I had very bad food poisoning and were very ill with a fever.

Had to wait 2.5 hours for delivery. Called after 1.5 hours and was told that the delivery driver was on the way…apparently not. But even more annoying was that we had asked for a dish without coriander, which was not provided.

Absolutely disappointed. The chicken was undercooked, which is completely unacceptable. The food tasted horrible overall, and to make things worse, the savoury dishes were oddly and excessively sweet. This place clearly lacks basic quality control. Please don’t order food from here. We waited two hours for some rice, and after calling every time to ask where it was, the man said he was on his own today and couldn't do anything about it. Very tasty food with good service and the food is hot, tasty and it arrives quickly, really satisfied with it.

Nice people, somewhat nice food. But the plastic containers here don’t seem suitable for food. (not that any plastic containers are ever suitable for plastic) The containers my food came in were all melted and bent out of shape. Also some stuff you can order that appears not to be in stock (I mean drinks) I do like how I ended up getting madame jeannette hot sauce with my order. 😁

The food is always delivered 30 minutes late. The butter chicken is way too sweet, but the white rice is good. And the biryani is way too spicy, so spicy that it gave us stomach aches. The portions are reasonable for the price, though. It would be better if the food were packed in cardboard containers, because both times I ordered, my food arrived in white plastic containers, which were half-melted, and you could taste it. The taste wasn't exactly pleasant :(

I have made an order on Thuisbezorgd and delivery was supposed to be at 19:00. Now it is 19:40 and there is no delivery, no phone number available. Thuisbezorgd keeps telling to call the restaurant. The number is constantly busy. It is useless. (Unless the delivery person had an accident or something) This is unacceptable. Way to ruin a Sunday night. I will never order from here again.

Extremely poor service. I ordered food, which took 2.5 hours to arrive. This wasn't communicated, and no one was available. I waited on hold for 30 minutes and couldn't reach anyone. This tandoori restaurant isn't what it used to be. Terrible service; I'll never order from them again. Fortunately, there are plenty of good alternatives.

Dear Tandoori Express, Today I placed an order through your website at 6:08 PM. The expected delivery time was considerably shorter, but my order didn't arrive until 7:50 PM—more than 1 hour and 40 minutes later. Furthermore, upon receipt, the sauce had leaked and the food looked less than perfect. This was very disappointing, especially since I had ordered three dishes and expected a hot, fresh meal. I find this experience far below the standard I've come to expect from you.

The people were so welcoming, and the highlight, of course, was the food. You come here for a truly extraordinary experience, one that's not based on restaurant etiquette, but on an experience. You leave with a big smile and a completely full stomach.

We went to the restaurant for dinner on a Tuesday evening. We received a warm welcome, and all the staff were incredibly friendly. This is a place you almost have to stumble upon by chance, but when you do, you're pleasantly surprised. The food is SUPER delicious, incredibly flavorful, and the menu is nicely varied, with delicious options for vegans and vegetarians as well. Highly recommended!

Waited 2 hours for a delivery made online which included 27 minutes on hold on a phone call to the restaurant. DO NOT ORDER!! DO NOT PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THE TROUBLE OF WAITING 2 HRS FOR A MEAL THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO MAKE YOUR LIFE EASIER AND MORE HIGE HUGE REGRET CONVENIENT

This place's butter chicken is an insult to butter chicken itself. Too sweet abd no spice at all! They are just a ripp off. Ordered biriyani and it didnt seem fresh? It smelled like heated food in the oven and the portion! Like they literally gave me so much less on my 2nd order.. Just the worse...

I was visiting Amsterdam and was craving for Desi food and found this place near me, So just popped in and there was only two dirty tables in corner, I ordered tikka masala with naan and it was just Curry with few chicken pieces in it. All this was bearable but there were 8 to 9 delivery boys standing beside me and one of them was continuesly staring at me. Horrible experience no recommending at all.

Usually I don’t review but experience was so bad, had to write. The food had a very unpleasant taste and had to throw it in garbage, It was not close to Indian cuisine at all, forget about authentic. It's a complete misrepresentation of Indian food and overall very disappointing.

We ordered food yesterday around 4:30 PM (as we often do at Tandoori Restaurant), but unfortunately, we had to wait over three hours before the delivery driver finally showed up. It's a real shame because their food is quite good. I hope they'll keep an eye on this and deliver the food a bit faster in the future.

It was during my work shift when I ordered this food (I work in healthcare with vulnerable patients) I tried calling back to give a general feedback as all restaurants cannot be perfect but gotta reflect on feedbacks to improve quality. The person I spoke to was too defensive and kept telling me no worries I’ll give you discount next time you ordered. I did not call to get a refund or compensated. I called to give a feedback to help the restaurant maintain its reputation and protect others from gastroenteritis. Unfortunately there was no cooperation which seems pretty unprofessional. I mean I’m a doctor. I’m not a beggar to beg you for a refund of 24 euros. Clearly the individual just assumed what he thought of why I am calling (compensation) rather than listening to my concerns. I believe a general inspector should give them a surprise visit and evaluate it their a threat to the health safety of the population as I worked with a lot of patients in the area and gastroenteritis is common. They also share a similar story—-> we ordered take away and ate food similar to what they offer on their menu. I just don’t make assumptions it’s all from them but there’s definitely a big chance after I tried their food. I’m writing this while I’m stranded in the bathroom. Lived in Africa for 4 years and believe me even street food there was more hygienic/fresh than this restaurant. Never ordering here again
