The following is still accurate as of June 28, 2026; however, this time I got the impression that they are trying to compensate for the discount via the bill. We were a party of 5 and ordered drinks upon arrival and after the main courses were served. When settling the bill, I discovered that 3 beers were listed, whereas there had actually been 2. This led to a discussion between mother and daughter in Egyptian, after which the bill was corrected. Upon arriving home, it turned out that a third bottle of Spa Red had also been billed. Although I cannot prove it, it appears that the bill is being tampered with. After all, I had the bill adjusted last year as well, and back then I thought it was a human error! In short, you have been warned: we are never coming here again; it is a shame, but that is the way it is. Second remark: it takes an incredibly long time to get your dish on the table, partly due to the many takeaway customers. We had reserved for 5:30 PM and were present well in advance, but were not ready until 8:15 PM. Given how busy it is, it seems to me that the owner doesn't need Social Deal, but that is their decision. Summer 2025. It is a Mediterranean restaurant run by an Egyptian family. We booked via Social Deal because acquaintances of ours had done the same and were very enthusiastic. The package includes a hot or cold starter, a pasta or pizza dish as the main course, and finally a dessert of your choice. Not all dishes on the menu qualify, or you have to pay extra. However, there are so many pasta dishes and pizzas on the menu that there is plenty to choose from. We chose the Caesar salad, with tasty grilled chicken pieces, but not too much overall. So you leave room for the main course. We had a Pasta Carbonara with a choice of various pasta types. The pizza was one with seasoned minced meat and pineapple chunks from the wood-fired oven. For dessert, we had a not-too-large slice of homemade Tiramisu with whipped cream. The price of the drinks—they also have draft beer—is in line with prices in other comparable restaurants. In short, highly recommended. When we arrived at 6 pm, a few tables were occupied; half an hour later, it was full, alongside a stream of takeaway customers. This shows that the dishes are good, and at the price via Social Deal, you shouldn't pass it up! Be sure to check the menu for other options. The interior is simple, and there is one clean ladies' and one men's toilet. Due to the warm weather, there was occasionally a sewage charge hanging outside by the terrace.

We had a delicious meal and received friendly service. A lot was possible.

At Restaurant Sint Maria in Waalre, we enjoyed a wonderful culinary experience. The onion soup was particularly good – full of flavor, perfectly heated, and with a nice balance of sweet and savory. The tenderloin, however, was the absolute highlight: buttery-soft, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. The atmosphere at Sint Maria is warm and welcoming, with attentive service that truly pays attention to detail. All in all, this restaurant is highly recommended. Restaurant Maria is definitely worth a visit for anyone who appreciates good food and a pleasant atmosphere...👍

I initially wanted to order a pizza from Pizzani. One of the cheapest pizzas cost me 21 euros if I'd ordered that one. It was absolutely ridiculous. Then I ordered the same pizza from Sint Maria for only 11 euros. And the pizza, baked in a real brick oven by a professional, tasted wonderfully fresh and crispy.

I was here for dinner; if you're in a group, it's best to reserve a table. The service was friendly, competent, and attentive. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the Netherlands. A 0.5-liter draft beer cost €7 and was very tasty. There's plenty of free parking. I recommend this restaurant.

Got a great offer for a 3-course meal through a Social Deal. Expectations were low, but the food was fantastic! Huge selection (often limited with a deal) of pizzas and pasta. And very friendly service and chef (a family)! The location is a bit dated, but the interior is cozy. And again: delicious food.

We hebben vanavond gekozen voor bruchetta, ceasar salad, pasta en pizza met allebei een tiramisu als dessert. Het was allemaal heerlijk. De bediening was uiterst vriendelijk en attent en naderhand nog even gepraat met de eigenaar en zijn vrouw. Ook de keuken zag er perfect uit. Kortom een dikke 10 en we gaan hier zeker terugkomen! Please take the kebab off the menu. That's not food. You can't even give it away. It's a small, soft roll, and the meat is lying next to it. How do you eat that? Something was also cooked in the microwave. It was really, really bad, and I'm still hungry.

We hebben 2 uur op ons eten moeten wachten en afhaal en anderen gingen voor. Het eten kon beter en maar 1 persoon kreeg een dessert. Aan de balie bleef men liegen dat het eten zo zou komen. Het was geen fijne ervaring en dat terwijl mijn schoonvader 80 jaar werd. Voor ons nooit meer!

Ik woonde toen in Waalre daarna gingen we verhuizen naar Eindhoven en vervolgens zijn we verhuisd naar Nuenen. We kwamen af en toe hier eten. Ondanks dat de afstand nu groter is eten we nog steeds daar graag. Ik eet graag mijn favoriete pizza. Ze kunnen heel lekker pizza maken. We hebben ook verschillende gerechten gegeten. Ik zal zeggen dat ze kunnen goed koken. Altijd lekker yummi. De eigenaar en zijn vrouw zijn heel vriendelijk. Ze zijn allemaal vriendelijk. De tent is ook vaak druk. Dat is niet vreemd heh. Ga zo door. Helemaal top!!

My wife and I shared a rack of ribs. I enjoy smoking ribs, I have had them in St Louis and Austin and my brother Felix makes them legendary. Sint Maria's are just as good as my brother makes. Today we are back to try the pizza and spaghetti. This place makes my nose happy.

After a long time I was looking forward to a nice hair salon again. Always go and get it yourself. This was my first time here. Was pleasantly surprised. The place itself was well filled with various diners and there was a coming and going of takers, which is a good sign. Kapsalon was made fairly quickly. Everything was nice and fresh and hot. I enjoyed it wonderfully.

Great restaurant for dinner or takeaway. Sometimes the quality can fluctuate a bit. In most cases this is great. Price may be a bit on the high side of the products. In addition, if you want your order delivered to your home, it is better to pick up your food. Faster, more efficient and your food will be really great! Very long waiting time, 2 hours! And only an apology. Outdated these days

Wij hebben hier zowel bezorg als in het restaurant gegeten en beide keren niet goed. Bij bezorging misten we 1 gerecht en hebben 1,5 uur pas het eten ontvangen. Vorige week zijn we in het restaurant gaan eten. De bediening was zeer traag. Het duurde heel lang voor de bestelling werd opgenomen. Op (beleefd) wenken werd niet gereageerd. Je moet na iedere vraag aan de bediening uiteindelijk zelf naar de bar lopen met je vraag. Ook toen wij de rekening hadden gevraagd zijn we na 10 minuten zelf maar naar de bar gegaan om af te rekenen. Het was niet druk. Een rustige avond midden in de vakantie, vier tafeltjes bezet. Oh ja, het eten…. Niks bijzonders, fastfood geserveerd in een ‘restaurant’.

Just like another reviewer had the same experience, it was supposed to be delivered within 45 minutes, but I called 1.5 hours later, a friendly lady on the phone who said we will be with you in fifteen minutes. Delivered 25 minutes later. We ordered pizzas, the toppings were tasty and sufficient, but the base was soft due to the moisture of the toppings, not good. The pizza edge was almost burnt, but the bottom was much too soft, not crispy (and perhaps too thin). It seems to me that something is wrong with the oven, the base probably needs to be hotter. For a quite highly recommended Italian restaurant, it was not good enough in our opinion given the prices and the much late delivery. If it is not feasible that time, let us know instead of leaving customers in the dark.

Good service with a smile from all staff. I had been difficult and had asked for a dish without cheese, which they were used to adding on top. I scraped the cheese off with a spoon and ate the rest of the dish. As a gesture I was given ice cream afterwards.
