Skymaster Restaurant & Bar in Schiphol

Service spends more time talking to eachother than with guests, no 'good evening', no 'welcome' and ended up ordering at the bar with the place not busy at all. I did not think a spaghetti bolognese could be messed up (I did not like the satay I had last time very much) but the kitchen proved me wrong. Hardly any sauce and the sauce that was there might be many things but not bolognese. The plate it was served in had not been heated so this evening I ate a medium cold, cheesy, dry and tasteless spaghetti bolognese because I did not want to wait for anything else. Would not recommend for dinner. Drinks and snacks are probably fine.

We were so happy to have Chris as our waiter. He was so friendly, respectful, and responsible to us. Great meal!

Wife asked for lactose and gluten free. Was told the burger without bun would be ok. She started it, and said it was the tastiest she had had for a long time. Then realized there was cheese (not lactose free) on it. Sent it back, 10 minutes later another arrived also with cheese on it. Sent it back and finally got a proper one. My meal was luke warm at best

A restaurant far far beneath average. The service staff does not recognize you, after you gave them a hint that you like to order, they forget many details. The food is poor and mostly standard out of the fridge. The prices are much too high. If you can, avoid eating here. We also wanted to drink a cocktail, but it took 30 minutes for the worst cuba libre I ever tasted. It is pretty clear: the staff does not want to make a good job. Sorry for saying that but that is a fact here. Go to your room, sleep well and do not eat or drink here. Everything is redicolous expensive.

The food for the dinner isn't great and the portions are very small. My dessert was bigger than the main meal. Slow service and no background music, so it's a bit too quiet.

Food was OK but it is unacceptable that there were only 5 tables occupied, I ordered chef’s menu and had to wait over one hour to get my food. Food, or at least what I got was OK, but the service…non existent

What can I say? The restaurant is located in the Ibis Styles Hotel. Unfortunately, there aren't many options in the immediate vicinity. Regarding the food: we ordered bread with aioli and a side salad each. Everything arrived together, and the salad turned out to be an appetizer. Because the portion was quite small, we ordered fries and a pizza. The portion of fries was more than meager, and the pizza wasn't exactly warm or tasty. The staff was friendly but inattentive and, unfortunately, didn't offer any compensation for the food. Well, most people only stay one night and then never come back. Conclusion: expensive for a small amount of mediocre food.

No. The restaurant is no good. Ready meals are only halfway warm, cleanliness leaves much to be desired, and the whole thing is too expensive. The situation is similar in the evenings and mornings. It's a shame, since an Ibis Styles should be better.

No one should go to the Skymaster restaurant hungry! After we chose a seat in the cozy restaurant, the employee kindly instructed us that we had to order using the QR code. Unfortunately, we could only order online and pay in advance by card. We ordered a pizza and a Caesar salad. Although the restaurant wasn't overly busy, we had to wait 52 minutes for our food. 😬 The pizza was a bit dark, but the taste and quality were okay. The Caesar salad as an appetizer was rather large and very tasty. Bottom line: if we hadn't paid for the meal in advance, we would have gone somewhere else.

Dropped in for cocktails which were great! And a meal before catching a flight. Staff were great. Special mention for Bartender Parma - a real gem of a bartender - especially welcoming and ensured we were comfortable in the bar area with good food and drinks; 5 stars to him! Pork fried rice was so - so.

We found this place on the app "THEFORK" (we took advantage of a 30% discount). The place is fine, a decent burger joint where you'll be satisfied. We ordered some good burgers and some starters. The guy there served us kindly, although the experience was a bit strange since we were Spanish, and I think the locals didn't really fit in with the atmosphere; it was a bit funny.

Been here every summer. This is one of the best option where there is a few restaurant in the area.

I had supper both nights I stayed in the hotel. The first night I had the black angus burger was with cheese and bacon and it was delicious my only complaint about the burger was i had bacon and it wasnt super crunchy but other then that it was great. The fries were perfectly crispy. The 2nd night I had the chicken sandwich which totally blew me away with how crunchy and flavorful it was, I decided to have an appetizer and went with the foccaca bread and it was light and delicious. I give skymaster a solid 9.5, staff gets a 10 super nice and helpful!

Had the pork schnitzel which was really good with the mustard sauce. Good portions, coffee and tea offered all day if staying at the hotel. Would highly recommend

After a few meals there I can recommend pizza (best) and chicken satay there, avoid burger and pork schnitzel, not worth it. Overall good drinks and food.

For breakfast I think € 18.00 is very expensive for what you get. It is no more than you get at other Ibis for €10.00.

really nice restaurant though i only ate the brekafast. they had a pretty good breakfast and the selection is good but they lacked normal bread (not buns) so i couldnt make hagelslag (traditional dutch treat/breakfast item). other than that i love this place and i may come back in a few months or something

Waited 1 hour for a burger that would make McD embarrassed. For 3 times the price… Even though the waiter is great and really tries, management clearly messed up. Recommend to choose another source of bad food

Shocking really, took me 45 minutes to order food. 1 server trying to look after a crowd. The poor guy is doing his best and running from order to customer non stop, yet can't catch up. They must employ more staff. Unfortunately there is no other food outlet nearby.

I definitely need to push up the rating on this one here. Of course it is no 5star restaurant but it has very decent food and price value is top!!! So if you are close, just go here. You won’t regret it!

Nice chilled out bar, incredibly busy due to airport chaos. Totally unprepared for it as there was only 2 staff trying to deal with the influx of passengers however that's not their fault. Apart from that it's a welcoming place that also doubles as the hotel breakfast room. Staff were great and friendly.

The real plus of this place is that it is located inside the Ibis hotel in Schipol, connected to the terminal by a shuttle. So, if you have an early plane and are forced to sleep nearby, it can also be fine. Level: fast food
