I was welcomed by two lovely girls. Super friendly, genuine and they made the best food. Even though they were working hard, they still found time to have a nice chat with me. They recommended me the Middle Feast Pita. Very fresh, flavorful and healthy. I highly recommend this place at Westerstraat and will definitely come back soon!

Had a Greek Gyros pita advised by the staff, best pita I had in months. Healthy and delicious. The girl was super nice and welcoming, I’m going to come back for sure!!!

The soup wasn’t very nice. Stale bread without butter which wasn’t very nice considering the price you pay. I was disappointed and underwhelmed.

Super sad. Positive side: Very nice girl at counter. Negative side: Sorry to write this, but I visited more SLA’s in the area, and it’s more or less the same. Think management has to sharpen up: -not one clean table, all super sticky and dirty. It was 16:00 and I was the only one, so not busy. Dirty plates piled up with fly’s around, upstairs at shelf where you take your self-service cutlery. Most of the suppose to be ‘clean cutlery’ was really dirty with dried-in food remains. My Salat/ vege’s was not really crisp and fresh. Mostly soaked in loads of wet cucumbersalat on top. Hughes chunks of tofu, not appetizing. Lentil soup not warm., let’s say almost cold. Old salat leaves on my chair. Left all food after trying my best to eat it. Just took my tin of sparkling water and a bill of 23.- euro., and left. - completely lost my appetite. You guys can do so much better! Will not recommend this at all to anyone, who care for a healthy and nice bio meal. It’s not worth it!

Super tasty Green Protein Salad with tempeh

Wow!! Fantastic! Besides the salads today, I also had a green juice and it was absolutely delicious!

Healthy food with a wide variety and reasonable prices. The service is good. They don't accept cash. The place is very pleasant and located away from the crowds. The soup was somewhat thick but filling. The wrap was delicious.

I was looking for healthy food and found a bowl at SLA. The portion was huge, filling and tasted very good too. The service was very nice and the smoothie was totally fresh and good! For anyone who wants to avoid fries, meat and fat in Amsterdam or wants to watch their diet. Unfortunately, I was so hungry that I didn't have time to take a photo.

I've been a long time customer of SLA but never again. After finding a large piece of glass in my food I won't be back. Thankfully no damage was done but the staff member offered no type of refund and didn't seem to care. I'll never visit another one of their stores again

Usually love SLA. However, today I opened my pita at home. I paid extra for chicken but they didn’t add any on at all. So I just had a wrap with lettuce. I guess they must’ve forgotten it but it was super disappointing.

Sometimes the waiting time is extremely huge, plus the sweet potato’s are not piled off like rest od the things they are preparing, so most of the time the food is not enjoyable to chew, which was not the case few years ago…

Ordered a warm bowl and smoothie at this location yesterday. A few weeks ago I had a delicious tempeh bowl for dinner at the Haarlemmerdijk, which was more than enough. That's why we decided to share the warm bowl yesterday, because it was for lunch. The food was not really hot and also very little. This might have been just enough for us on our own. In addition, the Popeye smoothie was very sour, we only tasted lemon. In addition, the Lettuce was out of stock here again, so you couldn't order a salad (in a salad bar? :)) Very unfortunate, because when I'm in Amsterdam I like to go to Lettuce..

Disappointing, the food was okay but we arrived around 4:00 PM and there was no chicken and other certain ingredients. In addition, the employee at the counter was really not friendly at all, and when we asked for a certain something in our bowl, she gave us something completely different in front of us? It was completely empty, and yet we still saw all the dirty plates, which is a shame because the food was not necessarily bad.

Delicious, generously filled SLA, this time I ordered the Killer Kapsalon and Middle Feast. A taste sensation and rich ingredients. SLA is truly unique here and shows that healthy can be very tasty. Also nutritious soups, such as the Egyptian Red Lentil Soup. The lady hostess is cordial and helped me well on the phone with the choice and offer. The only thing that was unfortunately not there were the smoothies, such as the Berry Boost. Especially because I'm sure that would have tasted good too. As an impression, the Middle Feast is included as a photo, with falafel and feta crumble as premium.

Well, if I had to talk about the quality of the product… nothing to say: all fresh and delicious (especially the feta cheese cream). BUT I had to wait around 20 mins to be served because there were just two guys behind the desk and they were busy with completing online orders. Despite of this, I recommend it to anyone who is interested in vegan places ☺️

Bought Greek Gyros. A VERY Pity about the bulgur. Only hard pieces. Stopped eating because I want to keep my teeth. The rest was tasty but unfortunately the whole experience was ruined

Got the gado gado bowl with tempeh, everything tastes fresh. The flavors, textures, colors are well balanced (great mix of pickled, crunchy, creamy).

Had a great meal at SLA! We took the food with us, but you can also sit inside. Friendly service and delicious fresh, healthy food. It was quite busy but we were helped quickly! :)

Went yesterday around 6pm. No wraps left. Very little bread. No chicken. Ordered Mexicana only to be told there’s no avocado. They really need to get their act together and also get some staff that actually want to work and not sulk.

I don't think the people that are working here are happy, food was ok.

As always the food was tasty. But the lady who works here seems extremely annoyed. When we asked where the toilet was and if there were wipes to clean the table (which was very dirty), the lady sighed loudly and rolled her eyes. We got the impression that she is extremely unhappy and actually does not want to work at all. This ruined the atmosphere for us, we will not return here.

food was not fresh - tofu and sweet potatoes were cold and slimy, cucumber tasted like rotten, chickpeas were dry, at least spinach was good. tables were very dirty, they should hire more cleaning staff or staff that could take care of the place. Price is adequate for the quantity but not quality of food. Overall disappointing

Staff is super unfriendly Takes a very long time to receive the order. No cutlery. Napkins lies on a pile of dirty dishes. Very dusty and dirty place. The one in South is much cleaner, friendly personal.

🥬 I like coming here for the juices and salads. Here you are sure to get something healthy. They have a nice loft upstairs and it looks like it is laptop friendly at the back. I have their cookbook at home :)

SLA is a good concept, the choices on the menu are top notch. It seems like the staff is underpaid or something. They are never really cordial, but a lady worked at this location who told me she didn't want to be there. I felt awkward ordering and having her prepare my food. In fact, I felt uncomfortable breathing near her. Maybe she was having a bad day. But it's a shame about the atmosphere. Pleasantly furnished.

The service and food at SLA is absolutely amazing! Every time I've visited, the employees have gone above and beyond to make my (oftentimes elaborate) orders and create a welcoming and warm ambiance. I can only highly recommend it! Best salads in Amsterdam!

I ordered the Killers Kapsalons, which we'd had in the past and loved. Sadly not all the ingredients were available and when the meals arrived they had way too much dressing on. When we got to the bottom of the bowls they were swimming in it. I've always thought of the food in here as being really healthy, but 'am not sure after seeing how much dressing was used. We would have complained, but thought it unfair, as the staff were clearly very busy and didn't want to challenge them in front of customers.

The food was okay but the cutlery was dirty. We asked for new cutlery and it wasn't clean either which put us off the food. In general the atmosphere was dull, the place was dirty, unkept and the plants were dying. The place felt like it needed some TLC

I like the lentil soup from SLA. The staff are always friendly. Yesterday, the person behind the counter was working solo. Despite the rush on a busy Monday evening, he did his best to serve everyone as quickly as possible. He was incredibly kind, apologizing to customers for the longer wait times. Everyone was understanding and patient. I hope he had a well-deserved restful evening.

Strange service concept, there are no waiters, which is a bit outrageous considering the prices. The food is not at all as advertised in the photos. I was a little disappointed and didn't feel full either. Typical shop to lure vegans with stereotypical dishes. I'm a vegan myself but I won't go here again.

I was there last week, and had no idea what to order. Victor guided me through the menu and offered great advice. I loved the food and his service. Such an attentive young guy. And he was alone in the shop too. Still smiling though. :) Will definitely come back

SLA aka Out Of Stock…. If you order after 20:00… half of the ingredients are gone… and you get half of the portion… third time it happened. Staff is helpful.

The prices here are average for Amsterdam, but the food is pretty bland. We took a curry and 3 wraps, which were not that tasty. The wraps are cold and the coffee is not the best. Overall the atmosphere is nice, but I feel not worth the 4.5 starts.

They’re frequently understaffed and cannot get orders done on time, even though you order a pick-up the day before. Not really a good experience if you’re time-bound.

I visited here twice during my time in Amsterdam and both were excellent! Lovely flavour packed salad bowls (portions are very filling and generous) that leave you feeling satisfied and nourished, and the sweet treats are fab too!

Typical Amsterdam food location: overpriced, not felt welcome, only vegetarian. Ate here with some colleagues, I would never entered this place. The Killer Kapsalon wrap was good though - but did not find the vegetarian meat pieces in there...

Simple casual food with no frills. The ingredients are fresh and the preparation is either as a wrap or a bowl. The bowl is a couple of Euros more expensive. To add a little bit of kick ask for their hot daisy which is actually very mild. You may not want to order their homemade lemonade. It is tasteless - like sweet water with no hint of any lemon. Seating is outside or upstairs. This restaurant is a good option for vegans. No fries served here. The side of whipped goat cheese was nice - mild and light.

Probably one of the best vegan deals in town. I went for lunch and the kapsalon is one of the best salads I’ve ever had. Generous portions. Service was very friendly at two locations I visited. Definitely worth a visit if you are feeling something healthy!

Had a great experience here! There are way too many bowl places that charge you a lot of money only to give you a small portion that mainly consists of salad greens. SLA is not such a restaurant. I had their Mexican salad which was not only delicious but also plenty! The creamy hummus was also a great side dish. I can only recommend to go there.

Had an excellent breakfast here. All ingredients were fresh and the wraps were well filled. The food took a while to prepare and the coffee was served after the meal. What has not harmed the whole visit, because you could fully concentrate his senses on the food. The staff was also extremely friendly, looked like a person was trained, possibly therefore there was some delay with the coffee. Can recommend this restaurant without exception, especially for vegans, there is a good selection here.

I got a food poisoning. Upstairs table was cluttered with dirty dishes. There were flies. Avoid it, there are better options in on Westerstraat.

Ik heb een eigen bowl samengesteld en de groenten en de saus waren heel flauw van smaak. Mijn vriend en ik waren zeer teleurgesteld in de meestal toch wel goeie kwaliteit. De zaak zelf had wellicht spitsuur gehad, maar was een rommeltje en niet uitnodigend om nog eens terug te komen als ik een nieuwe klant zou zijn. Zeer teleurstellende ervaring over een salade/bowl die toch wel echt heel lekker had kunnen zijn. Het voelde niet uitnodigend en ik kan me niet voorstellen dat het de bedoeling is van Sla om deze indruk en kwaliteit achter te laten.

HEALTHY & NOURISHING! My boyfriend and I just got off a train from Paris and were craving veggies and whole foods after all of the delicious BUT very buttery foods so this was perfect. Cozy and clean spot to grab a yummy-casual bite . Tip: the iced tea is amazing.
