Amazing food and amazing service! Highly recommend - so many gluten free & vegan options! Banana bread was AMAZING.

Perfect for a quick veggie fix! Clean, fresh ingredients, good service, cozy atmosphere.

Really delicious food. Guranteed to feel full. The service was not so good. Waitresses sitting around in the café and chatting with friends. Laughed when we asked for help to order or food. Proceeded to sit down afterwards, even though people came, after we’ve got our food.

came here this afternoon and had a bowl and i highly recommend this place for healthy eating in amsterdam. you could tell the ingredients were of high quality and thus tasted great. cute outside space as well and the 2 girls serving me today (one blonde and brunette) were very welcoming and efficient as well. only room for improvement would be to make the pricing slightly more affordable but other than that it was great!

We had lunch at SLA. The place is very cozy and quiet. The service was extremely fast. The bowls are excellent, full of flavor! I recommend it.

The salad was colorful and tasty, but absolutely not worth the price. I paid €15 for a tiny (meatless) portion of salad, like you get at the airport. Definitely not a meal, but more of a snack.

Incredible food with lots of delicious vegan options. Built a custom bowl both times i was here (in the 4 days i was in Amsterdam for which says a lot) and enjoyed how fresh, full of flavour and tasty the food was. Highly recommend.

This clean and bright cafe serves really delicious bowls and salads with the best dressings. After all the heavy food around Amsterdam (frites! Bitterballin!), this is a veggie and whole food oasis.

We were helped by a very friendly and generous employee, Kiana on Sunday afternoon. She was all the time working very hard (ALS city swim in Adam) and she didn’t loose her smile

We had a bowl and pitas there for lunch today, and everything was delicious, fresh, and healthy. The meat alternative was also delicious. The woman at the counter was extremely friendly and took plenty of time with us, even though she was alone. She also spoke fluent English and gave us a sauce to try when we weren't sure which one to choose. We would definitely come back!🥰

I found Sla while traveling through Amsterdam and looking for healthy food! The food is great and the portions are generous, plus the service is excellent.

Staff is friendly and helpful, and our meals were made within 10 mins of ordering. I did not like my salad but my friend said her chicken Cesar pita was good. It was very hot inside the shop but there was a few outdoor tables for a different seating option. I’d be willing to go back and try something else if someone else wanted to go, not sure I’d pick it though.

I really wanted to enjoy my visit, but unfortunately the experience fell short in several areas. One staff member was visibly unwell - constantly sniffling, touching her face and nose, and then handling food and drinks without washing her hands, which felt quite off-putting, especially in a hospitality setting. Tables were left uncleared while multiple staff sat around chatting and snacking instead of attending to guests. It gave the impression that service just wasn’t a priority. On top of that, my salad had nut shells in it, the cutlery wasn’t clean, and the general atmosphere didn’t feel very hygienic. I hope this feedback is taken as constructive - the place has potential, but a sharper focus on hygiene, service, and attentiveness would make a big difference. Usually the experience here is good.

The chicken was raw and they didn't want to switch the food or refund us. The whole experience was bad.

Just received a bowl with hard, burnt rice, undercooked sweet potato, rock hard avocado. Girlfriend had a piece of bone in her chicken. Go elsewhere. Two stars because it’s not always so bad.

Healthy food and a generous amount. Inside was very warm in the summer so try to get one of the few outdoor tables.

Spicy Tofurama with tempe was one of the best vegan meals I’ve had in my life. Portion was also very big and honestly I would have paid 25€ for this but it was only 15€. Highly recommend at least this dish.

The waitress Savanna at the Utrechtsestraat location was so beyond wonderful! She’s very friendly and helped is to choose the best healthy option for my friends and I. She made the end of our 4 day trip here super wonderful ❤️❤️

Really tasty food!! I ordered Greek gyros pita and it was delicious. You should order and pay first and you could take a table to eat there. The price is fare and the staff very friendly.

Dear possible future guests, Where does one begin with this monumental disaster masquerading as a dining experience? The staff were not just incompetent – they were comically useless, dragging their feet as if every table was a personal burden. No sense of urgency, no attention to detail, and absolutely zero professionalism. The food? Half the menu was “unavailable” – a laughable excuse for what is clearly poor inventory control or sheer laziness. What did arrive was cold, bland, and insultingly underseasoned – it’s a wonder they remembered to cook it at all. And to top it off, they confused plant-based dishes with real meat. That isn’t just careless – it’s ignorant and frankly offensive. Orders were forgotten, others butchered. To make matters worse, the hygiene was nothing short of revolting – as the final insult, there was a hair nestled right in the middle of one dish – a vile discovery that perfectly encapsulates the sheer contempt this place has for basic cleanliness. In addition to that I’ve seen more enthusiasm in a tax office queue. Save yourself the time, money, and dignity. This place is a joke – and not even a funny one.

Any time I’m craving something healthy , I’m going to SLA. I love the big variety of bowls and soups. Olivia was an amazing help and recommended me the spicy tofu rama , which i absolutely fell in love with!

Not very attractive. The concept of self-service, even if you take a seat inside, was not explained by anyone. It is also a pity that everything (menu) is initially in English. Price-quality ratio is quite ok.

Portions are pretty big I would say, Greek Bowl and Winter Ceasar Salad tasted good. Both of them had lots of organic ingredients. Service was not really great, same as atmosphere - very basic interior. Overall, it's a good chain of healthy food in Amsterdam

I really don't recommend this place. The food was cold and not really tasty, I barely ate something even though I was hungry. I don't understand if this place serves plant based food or not. I got the option with "chicken thighs" that until today don't know if was vegan. After I got my food I questioned for several additional times if it was really vegan and I got a hesitant "yes?". After I left I just felt I threw away 18 euros :(

amazing food, lovely service, but awful acoustics in this one. put something on the wall to dampen the voice, all the guests have to shout to talk which makes the problem so much worse. very unpleasant to dine in in this restaurant.

I ordered a wrap to take away for lunch. I ordered the Mexican wrap, although without jalapeños, adding chicken. It was rich, and tasty. The size is large and it is more than enough for a lunch.

There were 8 of us who came and we were served quickly with very good and plentiful dishes! There's something for everyone, veggie or not and it's great ☺️👍🏻. I totally recommend this address if you go to Amsterdam.

You guys idk who keeps the rating the way it is bc I keep thinking abt them from the way place WAS when they just opened yet these days it’s nowhere close. Food dropped significantly in quality to the point of serving expired stuff, all the ingredients out in the open with mice running around, a worker treated me like he had beef w me for no reason whatsoever. I mean I hope he’s feeling better now and it’s not his general attitude cuz maybe he needs to reconsider working with people. Everything is dirty and bad and sad. Soup and juice seemed okay but with their hygiene I’m not sure it was safe enough either. 2 stars only bc I’m sure it can be even worse but it’s nowhere near being recommendable. I’m definitely not coming back again unfortunately

Cute little shop, but service was non-existent, the bread from the wrap was old and dry, the sweet potatoes were still raw and there was wilted coriander as a garnish. It's a shame we won't be coming back, unfortunately it's too expensive.

Just got two wraps for takeaway. The person who got the order made me feel stupid by saying that I should have told him about “chicken” in the order as if knew that. Not friendly, not nice. Mexicana Hot wrap had stiff pita that I can’t imagine any gyros/durum in. Below standards. Not tasty, hard to chew. Disappointed. That place used to be way better!

Wow taste in this nice, fresh eatery located at edge of central Amsterdam. Portions are huge but the light fresh ingredients makes it easy to eat and digest. Staff was friendly and interiors simple and stylish in line with the minimalistic norther style.

I was trying to find something vegan to eat and the guy was very rude with me I was asking questions about the menu and he said “can’t you read the board” then I just left without ordering anything Not good customer service

A really great concept, I came across something similar in Nürnberg, but with choice meals for half the price of what they are sold for here in the Netherlands... Very unfortunate of course and why all the catering industry in the Netherlands is much more expensive than it is in Germany, I have never really understood it myself. This is an accessible store with absolutely delicious combinations of: healthy vegetables, quinoa, noodles and chickpeas. We also had something like that in Leiden, more than a hundred thousand euros was raised through catering crowdfunding. Unfortunately, the store did not survive and the owner decided to return to her old profession. That was a shame for me, I saw it coming, it was always quiet there. So now I'm going back to the Utrechtsestraat in Amsterdam, to this fragrant and colorful place. No punishment! ;)

I paid for a takeaway order that I did not receive, and no refund was issued. After paying I was informed that there were no brownies left. I was told by staff that I would have to send an email with my receipt to get a refund, which I think is ridiculous - a customer should not be made to pay for something that they did not receive. I don’t really understand why I couldn’t receive a standard refund by card or cash. A week later I have received no responses from SLA and no refund for the food that I didn’t receive.

This was a really hardy dinner, one that felt very healthy and fulfilling. The ingredients seemed to be great quality although they were a bit cold—I’m guessing they had been out for a while so they didn’t taste the freshest. Granted, I went an hour or two before they closed. I still think expectations of freshness can be upheld until closing though. While it was a good dinner, I wasn’t too obsessed with the flavor of the bowl, maybe it could have used a unifying sauce/dressing to make it feel like an actual salad. I appreciated the big menu and lots of both vegetarian and vegan options. For meat eaters, it seemed really easy to supplement the plant protein for chicken if that’s your vibe.

We went here with some higher expectation after seen a 4.4 average on google reviews. Sadly, we didn’t receive our two orders at the same time. My girlfriend had time to wait and the eat the whole plate before my arrived. I had to ask for it. I was still hopeful when my food looked great and was apologised to by the nice staff. But, everything was cold. Felt like it had just been frozen. Our kombuchas also had mole in them. Nice staff, bad food.

We got MOLDY kombucha. Took a big gulp. Nice place and cute staff. But unfortunately the food was not so well prepared, quite ok but not wow.

The food was really healthy for sure & the taste was perfect! Quick kitchen as well. And prices are fair! Worthy option for vegan & veggi but sadly the wrap was served cold as well as the homemade falafel in the bowl which I expected to be crunchy! Food is good but the service was not. They weren’t that busy but still no one in line was acknowledged at all for 10 minutes. Then a lady in line was watching one of the staff making a salad (what else are you supposed to do for 10 minutes?) when he looked up and he looked up at her and said “ugh that’s really annoying”. She apologised and explained that she was just trying to see if it was a salad she’d like and he replied “I was joking”…. He clearly wasn’t. He was being rude and didn’t have the decency to just apologise or claim it. If you are so offended by people watching you prepare food, don’t have the display directly in front of the line 🤷🏻‍♀️ and manage your emotions in front of customers…

Overall a good experience with plenty of options. But note it’s not just a vegetarian restaurant they do serve animal products.
