I regularly go to SLA on Middenweg. The food is delicious. The service is fine, but the staff aren't particularly enthusiastic or friendly. It's never busy, but there's always a crowd, yet I never have to wait. The atmosphere is a bit chilly, perhaps because during lunch (when I go), it's mostly takeout, so there's no one in the seating area.

This SLA location urgently needs to be cleaned. Everything was dirty—the tables, the floor, even the walls. It was so bad that I felt nauseous while eating my salad. Honestly, it made me question whether it was even safe or sanitary to eat there.

For me SLA is always a great option for a healthy lunch/dinner. You know what you’re getting for a solid price. I had the Greek Gyros Salad with plant-based meat which was good, all ingredients seemed very fresh. The staff was kind and welcoming, even though it was quite busy. Can recommend!

Large bowl. Not tasty or fresh. Some things had a bit of a flavor. I was disappointed; I left a large portion because it wasn't tasty. It was hot and stuffy inside.

Really unsure what some of these 1 star reviews are for..excellent service, very clean and quiet atmosphere. Perfect for working and eating delicious food. Middle Feast Pita with Chicken was amazing 😮‍💨🤌🏻

Picked up salad. Really delicious!

Worst smoothie of my life. I was charged extra and not warned of the extra price as I asked for it to be takeaway. The takeaway packaging was a tiny bottle rather than a plastic cup, so it meant that loads of the smoothie went to waste, and I got a tiny portion. The contents of the smoothie wasn’t even fully blended and the taste was vile. €6.70 for a shit and tiny drink. Don’t go.

I really enjoy their salads - good quality ingredients, and nice flavors! Better than Sweetgreens in the USA

Last time I had a salad here. I got the salad in a bowl that was way too small so I really couldn't mix it. Tables weren't really clean but food was fine and healthy.

This place is amazing!!! Food is fresh and tasty, the staff is super kind and the decoration is cozy. I recommend the bowls, each bite has a flavor of it's own. The fresh juice is a good option, too. Portions are huge and the price is reasonable. I'll definitely come back!

Super worthless tent. They can just reject you as a consumer because you want to pay cash.

I was helped very friendly by Fleur. Very helpful. She provides just a little extra information, for example about your app and sauces. Good service Fleur👍🏼

The lady helping was distracted I feel, she put chicken in my salad. I do not eat chicken. Also, there is suppose to be avocado in the salad, NEVER have I seen such a thing where there is only the PEEL of avocado in a salad. Also, she did not really care about presentation as she just "threw" everything in the bowl. Really a big disappointment.

I got food poisoning after eating there. Don’t recommend unless you want to radically lose weight. And it wasn’t even good :(

Perfect spot to grab a late Sunday bite. Super impressed with all the mouthwatering veggie options and the speciality lattes are to die for! Salad Chef Julia absolutely sla-yed and served not just salad, but great customer service. I'll be back.

Food was amazing. When you go there, find Julia. She has some magic flavors.

The food is not as good as it looks. I don't understand how it's possible to make an average salad with fresh ingredients like they have Avoid the pita, it's dry and it's so thick it overweight all the ingredients

I have been coming to SLA for years and am a loyal customer and fully support their philosophy. However, the portion size has been so small the last few times. Really a shame..

I order salades here since they opened many years ago. Love the concept but the last months their portions get smaller, the ingredients tasteless and they even manage to add wrong ingredients when ordering online. First I tought it was incidental but today I received for the fourth time a salad that looked nothing like how they present it on their menu, again with wrong ingredients (lentil instead of bulger) and feta that was as liquid as water…And it’s not the sauce that make it look like a soup because I always order that separate. …very disappointed. Will need to look for a new salade place that still cares about quality and presentation.

Really disappointed with how SLA has been developed, mega small portions for way too much money, typical Amsterdam.

I took coffee and banana bread, the coffee was good, banana bread was soft and very dense, I couldn't eat it. But in general everything is OK :)

The service is extremely variable, as is the on-time delivery. Sometimes everything is correct, but regularly the order is incorrect and the order is delivered much later than indicated. In short, a bit of a hit and miss story. That's why I rarely order from them anymore.

We went here to get a healthy meal. My partner got a salad and i had the lentil tomato soup. My partners vegan salad had a very strange protein. He had hoped to get some tastey tofu but there was only a very chewy bland protein mix that we couldnt figure out what it was (maybe quorn?). The sweet potato was barely cooked and the whole salad had just no taste with a bland dressing and even a sandy crunch. He now has an upset stomach… My lentil soup sadly wasnt any better nor very cheap. It tasted like lentils in plane water. They just forgot all the spices. Have they heard of paprika, masala or even salt? I couldnt even taste tomato. Food is a 0 for me. The staff was very friendly though.

Het eten is vers , gezond, lekker. Porties zijn meer dan genoeg voor een persoon. Prijs is perfect. Wordt snel bereiden. Genoeg keuzes uit menukaart voor eten , drinken en toetje. Een perfecte restaurant voor vegetariërs. Echt top

Eten bij/van SLA is altijd een succes. Jammer dat het regelmatig voorkomt dat er een ingrediënt op is, maar verder niets te klagen. Echt heerlijk, gezond en qua salades weer eens wat anders.

Dressing ernaast vragen! Anders krijg je 500kg zout in je salade

Good food, good prices friendly staff. Portions are great and more than enough. They have good teas aswel. The place is also cosy to dine in and offer a lot of variety in their offerings.

Muy buen espacio. Atención buena (había solo una persona atendiendo todo el lugar) fui a eso de las 14.30/15.00 así que no había tanta gente, de todos modos fue bastante rápido y exquisito. Pedí un wrap y un jugo de zanahoria... extraordinarios✨ El Wrap costaba como 9,75 euros y el jugo no me acuerdo😬 pero valió cada centavo... Eso si, recomiendo mil veces los jugos a los smoothies. Puedes pagar solo con tarjeta y la propina se incluye dentro de la misma compra con tarjeta (aunque eso siempre es opcional) ✨✌️

I also order my delivery often. Imo they‘re a salad bar that you actually get+ what you paid for; always good+filling+fresh!!

The place was ok, the salad also ok. The staff could be more friendly... I waited 5 minutes until I asked them if I could place an order and they said "oh sorry, we thought you were a delivery guy" Don't assume or make assumptions about your clients and always ask.

Phenomenal service. Incredible line up of fresh vegetables and natural vegan protein options like edamame, lentils and tempeh. And the dressings are delicious! Highly recommend the Caesar and vinaigrette. Completely satisfied the traveling nutritarian in us. Thank you!

Wrap met van alles en nog wat. De vegan gehakt erin was beetje te massief. Helaas behoor ik tot de groep waarbij de koriander een zeep smaakje krijgt. Hoewel ik zorgvuldig een koriander vrije wrap koos. Bleek er ergens toch nog koriander verwerkt te zijn. Wijs lesje voor mij . Niet meer alleen maar op menu uitleg rekenen. Toch heb ik wel genoten van de leuke sfeer

Goed, vers en biologisch. Lekker eten voor een prima prijs. Een keer een (zeer!) kleine portie gekregen, wat de volgende dag direct netjes werd rechtgezet. Over het algemeen vriendelijk personeel.

SLA for years has been one of my favorite places to grab lunch! Their bowls are always delicious, ingredients fresh and the portions are generous. The atmosphere inside is also really chill and the staff is friendly:)
