I see reviews, but maybe people should read more carefully: It is clearly stated under the sign and on the display case that prices may vary. Printing a new sign every month is also not feasible. In addition, snack bar Corry is certainly the cheapest in and around the center. And you get good portions and quality snacks, so value for money. I can't say many other snack bars. Even though they have started asking for more and more.

What a friendly place. The owner knows a lot of people, but he chats freely with everyone. Just really funny. The food was excellent and ready quickly.

After "The Gathering's" concert on August 27, 2025, at Doornroosje in Nijmegen, we arrived at Corry late in the evening, hungry. The friendly owner greeted us with a friendly "Jongens, wat wil je?" (or something like that). When we replied "2x fries, mayo, frikandel special, cheese asouflé," he immediately switched to broken German and asked us which city we were from. When we answered "Gelsenkirchen," he pointed to his refrigerator and unexpectedly offered us a drink of our choice. What service! We sat outside in the finest late summer weather and, after a short wait, received our meals. There, we ate the world's best fries, fried to perfection, absolutely crispy to the bite, and a real hit! The boss joined us for a moment and showed us his Golf Cabriolet (a vintage car) parked across the street, while also taking note of our gray pickup truck (not a vintage car). Folks, if you find yourself in Nijmegen, stop by this little snack bar. - And claim you're from Gelsenkirchen so you can get a free drink. ;-) Many thanks to Corry for the delicious food!

Small snack bar with a decent outdoor patio. Plenty of selection. The fries aren't bad, but I've had much better. The stew was generous and excellent. Prices are reasonable, as are the portions.

Corry speaks loudly and incomprehensibly in Nijmegen dialect and then gets angry if you don't understand him (ironically I think), he has a bit of a vague sense of humor, the food tastes good.

For years my favorite snack bar in Nijmegen East. Energetic owner with whom you can really have fun. Other staff is also friendly, and the fries are simply the best in Nijmegen.

Old Nijmegen coziness where there is still genuine attention for the clientele. The owner has been awarded with silver Waalbrugspelt an honorable award that not everyone just gets. Snackbar Corry has a long history and the name is due to the 1st owner Corry Ebbers.

Even though it is very busy, Corry and the ladies run through the tent, have a chat with everyone, make people laugh and the time flies. Waiting is an advantage rather than a disadvantage. Top tent, top people and top food!

A really great snack bar/chip shop! The welcome is very nice, nice jokes are made, which creates a great atmosphere. The food itself is tasty and the price/quality is excellent. Today I visited Corry again for the first time in what may have been twenty years. I fell in love. Top entertainment. The fries are just good and the satay sauce is really tasty. What possessed me not to get my fries here all these years? What a great tent.

I visit Corry regularly. Atmosphere is always great. However, I don't like the fact that they expressly charge you a higher price in a half-drunk state than what is on the menu. When something costs 3.50, they simply enter 4 euros. When you talk to them about this, they say that every snack bar does this during the summer parties. I come to Corry for the good atmosphere and conviviality and not to be ripped off in a tipsy state. Too bad I'm really disappointed. I hope they change this policy

Normally nice tent and cozy atmosphere. Now I had a little more than normal and I am immediately dropped off!! I have to pay a lot more than it says, I notice it so I talk to them about it and they even admit it... They then try to bribe me with free fries…. Sorry, but I don't like this! Never cycle for them again.

Dirty business. Woman was cleaning the display case with a bucket of soapy water. The soapy water dripped onto the stacked frikadellen shop itself in very poor condition, type of people, what do those Dutch people think, they do eat our products, they have certainly never seen a nice chip shop, the owner, a small man, wants to.
