Delicious food at a reasonable student price. Friendly and fast staff, definitely recommended!

Sushibowl is seriously delicious, and the price/quantity ratio is not bad compared to the other places here.

I decided to try the noddles here and was really disappointed. First, the service is quite slow since there are only 2 people (1 on noodles, 1 on rice) and one of them is also the cashier and takes orders. During lunch rush you will be waiting quite a bit for your turn and for it to be done. Then the food. You expect the miso soup to have a lot of flavor, but it was so bland it was insane. The cup has a decent amount of chicken but because it's from the one you see cut up already, there are pieces that have dried up. There are a lot of noodles, some cabbage, bean sprouts and carrots. But all in all, flavorless. You expect a lot more for €10. The chicken dumplings were actually nice. They also come with either soy sauce or sweet and sour (it could also be a chili sauce, I don't quite remember).

Mondaylunch , foodplaza , Erasmus university , healthbowl , miso soup , earth water . Located at the campus of the Erasmus University this socialled “asian streetfood” deli wich in reality is just a marketing slogan to lure unknowing guests in . The staff is turkish , as are all deli’s inside the Foodplaza . The ordered miso soup with veggies and tofu was a disgrace ! Salty , thick and not even slightly tasteful . A €0,25 supermarket “cup o soup” would taste the better . No , this has nothing to do with real traditional asian streetfood , but pure with marketing slogans and high prices . Infact i would suggest everybody to avoid this Foodplaza/corner , buy their own food outside the Erasmus campus or simply prepare it at home as a take away .

I ate here twice. The first time, not so good with stir fried noodles. The second time, highly recommend this combo: sushi rice, salmon, crab sticks, seaweed salad, mango mayo, nori seaweed, pickled ginger, and sesame seeds. The combo is fresh. Don’t forget to add more pepper by yourself to help balance yin and yang! (I found that rice is better than noodles here) You can have some extra cookies and candies on the dish next to pepper and salt on the left side of the order counter. The service guys are friendly. Waiting time depends on different days.

I'm absolutely thrilled with Sohmi Rotterdam. The items I ordered are of excellent quality and exactly what I needed. Everything looks great and works perfectly. The delivery was fast, and the communication was clear. You can tell they know what they're doing and have an eye for detail. In short: absolutely fantastic. I'll definitely order from them again!

the food is probably the worst “asian” (if u can even call it that) food that ive ever had. ive eaten here three times, and i was always disappointed. any time i would order a dish the sauce would be sitting at the very bottom (evidently added at the end without letting it cook and combine with the rest of the ingredients). cover your cooking bases pleasee. the price is also nit adequate the the food quality

Would definitely NOT recommend this place, when you order a large bowl you get 5 rice pieces more and extra chicken u get 1 smaal chicken piece more. And then u can pay a price of €16,50+. Better go to the one infront of this store, much more kind workers and the right portion for what u pay Workers and owner should be ashamed of themselves scamming students like this, i know the rent is expensive but com’on, this is not normal

Ordered an Oyster Garlic Noodles with Beef, but the only dominant flavor is the bean sprout's, which oddly added on top of everything. Considering the taste, the price is sky-high!

Raw salmon in boiling hot rice... so that salmon was cooking in that rice😀😀😀

I still crave their udon shrimp noodles years after moving from Rotterdam 🥲

The two guy making the food there (I went on a Thursday lunch) were so friendly and helpful and cheerful! Service was super fast, and they could customize my poke “bowl” for me however I wanted! I love that there are a lot of tofu and veggies, rather than mostly rice like at some other poke bowl places. One thing I didn’t like is that they use all single-use utensils and containers, even when we dine in. They should try to be more sustainable either by offering food in reusable bowls or allowing people to get food in their own containers.

The stir fry noodles tasted literally like nothing.. use some spices… noodles overcooked, so it became like a mushy thing. 🤮

I have been going to campus for a whole year and I finally got to check out Sohmi. I ordered a poke sushibowl. It had a base of sushi rice, salmon as the premium, my two toppings were crab sticks and seaweed salad, the sauce was mango mayo and finally we got pickled ginger, spring onions and nori seaweed. The bowl was really nice but worth the money, not too sure about that! Food came out quick which was nice and employees were chill as well.

Ridiculous that this is passed off as Asian food. The food is miserably bad on all fronts, from taste, quantity to presentation. Typical example of canteen food, but for the top prize.

Only had the bubble tea here a couple of times it is ok but not special or memorable

The food is good and the staff is friendly. I came here many times to buy noodles and I would have come more if I had more money. I do not recommend the oyster sauce with Tofu as the sauce does not have that much flavour. Hence I usually take ketjap sauce. Highly recommended!

Food is good but a little bit costly. Service is really slow and lazy. Personnel doesn't pay attention even if there's 15+ people queue.

I’m typing as i’m crying eating this. They know how to make noodles with nice ingredient etc etc. But please, you dont pour half a litre of PURE soy sauce into the bowl, not with that condensed content of sodium. I feel poisoned as the deadly waves of sodium pumping thru my veins. I need all the luck to finish this and dont dieded. Service is low at lunch, dont you ever consider having a 3rd person, cuz i waited like 20mins to say hi to the waitress.

The sushi bowl is relatively expensive for a student and its actual content could be improved. Noodle are okay but a bit bland

Fresh made meals at the Erasmus University Rotterdam campus. It is part of mixed cafeteria of which Sohmi is one. There are plenty places to sit and there is a coffee corner of a famous brand as well. Other participants are a sate place, a sandwhich place and a place where you can order a burger.

Food is too expensive for what you get. They cooked the ingredients too quickly and the presentation was not very attractive. The outside of the box was covered with oil which I had to clean myself. Would not recommend. You can get a toast from tosti at the same place half the price instead.

Really good ramen! Fresh ingredients. Bit pricy though especially for university restaurant.
