I really like the concept of a soup bar for eating on the go! There was a wide choice I had a quiche as an accompaniment Quantity/price ratio I find it a bit expensive 11€ for soup + quiche (which can be eaten in one bite) but the quality of the products is really top notch

I came across this place by chance, and the idea of soup on a cold day sounded better than a baguette. Unfortunately I don’t remember her name, but the young lady who served me was very polite and friendly, explaining the choice of soups perfectly. She also gave me some useful advice on which areas of Amsterdam were worth visiting. I don’t remember what soup I had…possibly broccoli? But it was delicious and just enough to fuel me for the rest of the day. Highly recommend.

Altijd een fantastisch adres voor een snelle maaltijd, bijvoorbeeld voor een bezoek aan de opera. Meestal hebben een aantal uitheemse soepen. Afgelopen week was er erwtensoep. Het was de lekkerste erwtensoep die we ooit gegeten hebben, terwijl ik zelf ook aardig wat kookervaring heb. Super.

I stopped by for lunch before going to Rembrandt's house. I had signed up for a timed trial class, so I didn't have much time to eat, but it turned out to be a great restaurant. The eat-in space is small, so please eat at a table outside. soup, salad and bread Served in take-out containers. I was tired of eating heavy meals every day, so having a menu full of organic vegetables was the best! If I had time, I would have loved to have dessert.

Great food, great service and very cozy place! Felt really good to stop during a rainy and grab a warm tasty soup! Only downside is the place is a bit small, but most people grab it for Take Away.

As I was walking I felt my body asking for some nutrients. What will it be? As I saw Soup Enzo, I remembered their harmony of flavourful and nourishing. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by Alexandra who seemed to be closing. As I checked, she actually responded by offering me a choice of the dishes she otherwise has to throw away. So the harmony of flavour and nourishing extended with beautiful values. I love that. Thank you Alexandra, on behalf of my body and my consciousness.

Though the place is small, it’s perfectly cozy and the staff is always friendly and willing to help. Tables outside according to the weather on a street that is quiet and lovely, with Waterloo market and the Hermitage just a step away. What about the food? Superlative! All the soups I had the luck to taste during the years have never ever disappointed, in the least! A standing favourite ♥️

I like the place because everything they do is fresh and the menu changes every day. The options are healthy and luckily they still keep 1 soup everyday with meat ( no vegan/vegetarian here). The staff at all locations is always friendly and seem to enjoy what they do. The reason I don’t give a higher rating is because they tend to put chilli in everything and above the average level. It’s a pity because it’s not always easy to handle the amount of Madame Janette used in their recipes. I guess it’s because it’s targeted to the Dutch taste who adores spicy food. So don’t get fool by the soups with no “pikante” in the name.

Very nice spot if you’re not hungry enough for a full on dinner. The soups are tasty! Not the cheapest but they’re quite filling. Friendly staff. Would come here again

Small yet nice and comfy, the soups and salads are so delicioussss!! we came three days in a row and chose a different soup each time and it didn’t disappoint, just amazing for when the weather’s cold or rainy. All of the staff was so nice and caring, I just wish they had the soup cookbook in english, and I’d def buy it :) Very recommended, whenever I’m back in Amsterdam I’d go straight here ;)

Great spot to warm up in the cold December weather. The soups warm both the bellies and soul, they’re that good! I had the Chili sin carne and Mexican tomato soup, both of which had a nice little spicy kick which I appreciate.

Tienen una variedad de sopas muy buena. Nos pedimos la sopa de calabaza con jengibre y coco y la sopa de pollo y estaban las dos súper buenas. También tienes la posibilidad de montar tu ensalada con los ingredientes que tienen ahí. La chica que nos atendió fue muy amable. Dudábamos entre varias sopas y nos dio la opción de probarlas antes de decidir.

Superb, freshly prepared, healthy food. Wonderful gluten free and vegan selection. Absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced for such quality food.

Sometimes you just feel for a casual restaurant where you could have some good and healthy food. Soup en zo was definitely that place for us. The lentil soup with green curry pumpkin and coconut and lime was the right food for a rainy day. The vegetables dish that we choose was not less satisfying.

All their soups were gluten free when I went. I would make sure before you order if you have an allergy as I’m not sure if they change their soup choices every once in a while. I ordered the lemon chicken soup and it was delicious.

The soup I got (Indian curry) didn't really taste like what I'd expected, but I like the concept. Would be nicer, if they gave you actual bowls instead of paper ones when you eat at the restaurant.

Buenas sopas a buen precio. También recomiendo ensaladas, probé una hecha ya pero puedes hacer tu propia con sus ingredientes. Un plus, siempre tienen agua gratis. Un opcion sana y barata en Amsterdam.

Taste okay but expensive. With 8 euro, you got a soup without any bread :( No spoon for take away customers. You need to pay deposit to get a spoon there… :(

I always tried to like the soups of this place, as i really know they’re cooked with organic ingredients and many of my dutch friends go there in our break from work. So i have literally tried it more than 10 times and honestly, not even once did i like what i ate. The taste is either too blunt or too spicy. There is nothing in between! I miss a thick soup with salt & pepper! Maybe it is a cultural difference of course (i am mediterranean) but most of these soups taste like spicy water to me!

You can tell it's good by the line of customers outside the place. Turnover is speedy, the soup is freshly made, hot and delicious.

Ik heb dit plekje ontdekt tijdens een te good to go. Maar ik ben nu officieel fan. De soepen zijn heerlijk. En de salades verdienen ook een pluim. Daarbij is het personeel erg vriendelijk en weten ze ivm allergieën wat in welk gerecht zit.

Leuk klein tentje waar er vaak een rij staat (goed teken) waar je ondanks de rij snel geholpen wordt door vriendelijk personeel. Tip als je de soepen ook zelf wilt maken: ze hebben een kookboek met duidelijke en eenvoudig te maken recepten (zonder ingewikkelde bouillons)

Always loved the soup from here. Sadly the soup isn't as tasty as it used to be, and also the prices -- which were already wayyyy too high -- have risen even further. Also the stuff is rude and uninterested. Not coming back anymore.
