it's slow, really slow. BUT. some of the best, hand crafted non frozen acai I've had in a loooooong time. i would say worth the 30-35 min wait for the bowl. that's not to be taken lightly - just prepare

A small shop with really lovely workers and a cozy modern interior! Everytime I'm in Amsterdam I come here to take my Matcha, for me its the best in Amsterdam. The bowls and smoothies are good too and natural in flavour. If you have a sweet tooth, ask for a bit more sweetener, won't be a problem! 🫶🏻

omg!!! this place is amazing!!!! i was dying here in europe to find somewhere that didn’t make melted watered-down smoothies/bowls, this place has got it down !!! this is literally the only place in europe i’ve ever been to that makes a real açaí bowl😭💚the staff were so kind to let us talk their ears off about it. and can i say how beautiful these bowls are?? put me straight back in LA 2016 😹 (drinks are delish as well, we got an iced americano & mint lemonade)

I really love this place and its entire menu. I cycle 40 minutes just for their amazing chia yogurt bowl. However, I find it irresponsible and unprofessional that they open at 9 am, and the girl doesn't even arrive until 9:05 am. This means the business won't start operating for another 20 minutes because she has to prepare everything for the day. I think the managers could better manage the schedules for better service.

Delicious and nicely presented breakfast-focused food. I liked the chia pudding — they have a few varieties (cocoa, dragon fruit & coconut, and matcha), all very interesting and tasty. The warm oats were great for colder mornings and beautifully presented. The coconut matcha latte was super good, definitely above average for Amsterdam! The coffee (Americano and cappuccino) was also nice. There were several other interesting hot drinks on the menu that I’d like to try next time. I would only improve the interior: it would be much nicer if the place felt a bit cozier, making you want to stay and enjoy it for longer.

Lovely smoothie bowl and chilled vegan cafe in a cool area of Amsterdam

If I had known I would encounter such delicious food, I would have gone on my first day in Amsterdam. I really regret going on my last day, so I let each bite linger in my mouth for a while, savoring the moment. If I ever find myself back, this will be one of the first places I'll go...😊

A very small but cozy shop. The Rainbowls were a 10/10, I want to have them for breakfast every day! At first I thought the portion was small, but I was wrong, and I ended up feeling full for a long time :) I'd go back anytime!

We ordered red acai, pink rainbow, matcha chia pudding, heart beat, and ginger, everything was very tasty🥰 service was fast Although unfortunately green acai was out of stock😢

DELICIOUS BOWLS, AMAZING MATCHA!

I walked in, just wanting to drink a cold iced latte on a warm day. I looked at the menu and spotted the drink of my choice. Mind you there was no sort of indication for what was to follow. The barista nicely asked me what kind of milk i wanted. I, as usual, just answered with just normal milk please. She responded to that answer in a tone of voice as if that was completely normal and said ther was no normal milk. She went on to list of about seven or some milk alternatives, some of which seemed very strange to put into a coffe. I stood there baffled and just stuttered some answer that seemed somewhat plausible as i couldn’t bring up the courage to just walk out and leave. When I got the coffee it was as expected: coffee laced with just water with a weird aftertaste. Oat milk? That stuff has no business being called milkk as it just tastes terrible. I find it a crime to list something as “latte” which means milk and then not have milk, like thats literally so stupid, please just have it say somewhere that its vegan, so i can avoid having to buy an awful coffee or be in a very awkward situation. The whole café smelled like warm cinnamon porridge - absolutely dreamy 🥣✨ The matcha was perfect: creamy, balanced, and just heavenly 🍵💚 The staff were super friendly and made me feel right at home. A cozy little gem I can’t wait to return to! 🌿🌞

I searched on Google and came here. It looked like a lot of food, but I was relieved to find that it was just the right size. The taste was also fine and delicious.

Very nice café, very friendly service, the bowls were really good, as was the iced latte. There's just a bit limited space to sit down and eat.

Ordered a pink bowl, but one of the bowls was missing the passion fruit I was looking forward to. Two identical bowls but different fruits, not the ones listed on the menu, which was a bit disappointing. It would have tasted even better with the ordered ingredients. Three matcha lattes were forgotten but immediately delivered. Two 3/4 full glasses were brought out and I only got one half full, which is pretty cheeky. I complained again and then the glass was normally full. That could have been much better.

The bowl was delicious, but the service was anything but motivated. The bowls weren't as nicely presented as usual; the drinks were forgotten, and after a reminder, the wrong drinks were brought, and only half full. I hope the service was just having a bad day today.

Went with my daughter around 9:00 on a Saturday just when the place opened! It was lovely and quiet and we enjoyed our breakfast! It is definitely recommended.

Don’t look any further, you found the place to be. From our favorite Açai bowls in the city to chia desserts and the most amazeballs bliss balls, this place has it all. The people are super nice and friendly, everything is made to perfection and every time we leave makes us want to come back again. Do yours of a favor and taste the rainbow.

Rainbowl is really fantastic! The bowls are super fresh, colorful and well-prepared. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and it is clear that a lot of care and love has gone into the food. The atmosphere in the store is relaxed and inviting, a real feel-good spot in the heart of Amsterdam. One small downside: they do not offer regular milk, only plant-based alternatives. For people who are not fans of oat milk or almond milk, that feels a bit exclusionary. Diversity in choices is important and that also applies to milk 😉. Hence the 4 stars. Furthermore: absolutely recommended, and I will definitely come back!

A healthy breakfast in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. The bowls are generous (but a little cold) and the smoothies are perfect! A great way to start a day of sightseeing.

This could possibly be the best breakfast I have ever had! It was really hard to decide but I chose the green açai bowl - truly a work of art when it arrived and it tasted out of this world! I also had a matcha latte with oat milk which was also delicious. I am sad we couldn’t go back more than once but I feel inspired to try and up my breakfast game at home!

I had been wanting to try açaí for a long time and finally had the chance to do so during my holiday in Amsterdam and eat it as a snack in this lovely place that has a very pleasant and quiet atmosphere. The staff is very kind, and we asked if one of the two bowls ordered could be gluten free, as my partner is celiac, and there was no problem. The bowls are prepared with love, they are little works of art! 🎨🖌️ The flavour of the açaí was really good and I also really liked the consistency that was between ice cream and granita. The fruit that is put on top, together with the granola and coconut, make everything even better and tastier. Finally, they are really very abundant... we took the smallest size and struggled to finish it, but since they were so good we didn't leave even a drop! :) It was definitely a beautiful experience and I recommend it! 💜

Any correlation between the word healthy and the food and that place is completely non-existent. Not a single ingredient or a dish is not infused with sugar. The place atmosphere and service is nice but they should not position or market the place as a health food.. because that's what I was looking and I couldn't find a single item on the menu that is not high glycaemic index.

Vibrant and healthy spot with beautifully presented smoothie bowls. Fresh ingredients, great taste, and a feel-good vibe all around.

They make the prettiest smoothie bowls in Amsterdam, hands down. However, the açaí puree is too heavy on the banana, it tastes too much like a baby banana puree, makes the puree brown in stead of purple and also makes it too sweet. If you’re into that, then this is your place. I prefer a sorbet type substance, so I often get my açaí fix somewhere else for that reason.

Aside from busting my head on the shelf above the booth along the wall (I wasn’t the only one that hit their head while I was here) it was a descent. The Açaí bowl was tasty and presented well.

I loved it! Super lovely staff, relaxed atmosphere, delicious and healthy food. It doesn't get any better. I'll definitely come back :)

Great food and service. I come here a lot, and this is one of the few health food places in Amsterdam where I feel like the higher price point is justified by the quality and quantity of the food. My only critique is that it would be nice to have longer spoons for the chia pudding, or to serve it in a bowl.

What a cold, unfriendly place. Arrogant service. No place to sit comfortably. Cappuccino was small, lukewarm and very expensive at €4.20. Spend your money somewhere else where hospitality is normal!

Super cozy place, with large windows to enjoy the family and calm atmosphere of the neighborhood. The waiters don't rush us, we feel really good there. The bowls are full of vitamins and prepared with quality ingredients. We found a slight imbalance, too much ice cream (3/4 of the bowl), a shame because the granola is very good! Apart from this lack of toppings, everything was perfect.

A little breakfast break with Hawaii, Bali inspired food… A good spot for a fresh, sweet and fruity start of a day. Purple Bowl is recommended, design of the bowl is done by mix of fruits and coconut yoghurt, thus all pf the dishes are appealing. The atmosphere is warm and floral. Looking to street and having a morning coffee, a good vegan bowl with granola, acai and fresh fruit was a good experience. Also all the foods are vegan and prices are affordable. The stuff was very friendly and informative about the food process. If you are looking after a healthy, sweet flavoured start Rainbowls might be what you are looking for. PS: During my vacation I was at Rainbowls for two days, didn’t want to skip different bowls.

Located in a lovely leafy neighbourhood about a 20 min walk out of central Amsterdam - it is so worth it! Their bowls were stunning and tasted incredible. I highly recommend this place for Acai enthusiasts! A must visit!

Dramatic!! Order something that Uber places at the end of the street and then I can pick it up myself while I'm at work and order something because I don't have time. Money gone and no food. When I call they don't answer. Never order here again!!!

We wanted to try the violet and red açai bowl for takeaway cause the place was small and full. Service was ok but we waited like 30 minutes.. When we got home we couldn’t understand which was the violet one and red one cause they looked like the same, also taste was same. We were a bit disappointed cause 13€ for one bowl is expensive so we expected more..

Delicious, but it's nothing different from an açaí bowl anywhere in Brazil that you can make fresh. There are dogs inside the place and hair everywhere. The service is ok.

Really nice place, especially for breakfast. Most delicious breakfast smoothies you will ever have in your life. We had that one with the Peanutbutter and it did change my life, Im a changed person now. The bowl was also extremly delicious, I really wish to come by again for another lifechanging Smoothie and Bowl but Im sadly not a native, but as soon as I am bock in Amsterdam I will be there, slurping that smoothie, you can count on that.

Really nice place to take a break and eat something sweet and healthy. We took two big portions and it was satisfying. Different fruit, nuts and something like ice cream. The girls that work there are really nice and helping.

Estábamos explorando la zona cerca de los museos, y nos topamos con este adorable lugar. Tenemos un batido de proteínas grande y un tazón rojo grande. Ambos fueron fantásticos. Realmente son hermosos, pero lo más importante es que saben deliciosos. Mi hijo de 7 años estaba enojado porque me detuve aquí, y loco esperando. Pero luego se bebió el batido y fue feliz. Luego, cuando salió el cuenco, quedó tan impresionado, y le encantó. Pedí un segundo tazón y una rebanada de pastel de zanahoria para que mi esposo y yo comiéramos algo. Todo fue fantástico. Nos gustaría volver.

I occasionally work remotely from this place and it's always super nice. The staff is very friendly and the dog makes the whole place feel like home. The food is great, specially the Purple Açai. My favourite place in the area.
