Lovely place, great homemade pasta that was very delicious. There was quick service and staff were welcoming and also translated the menu which was thoughtful. Would recommend coming here for a meal !

Went here for dinner with a team outing, and what a fantastic location. Delicious food and good service. It's a bit open and loud, though, so it can be difficult to hear others. But I would definitely recommend it!

I was asked to move from my table to make space for a bigger group without being given an alternative table. Could not sit in a shared table because someone was saving the empty seats for friends. Not once I was offered any help from the staff, not asked about drinks, or food, or anything else, really. Just left there, standing in the middle of the room, feeling like an inconvenience... said thank you and left 😔

The pasta was delicious, a nice change from what most pizzerias offer. However, with a half-full restaurant, the noise was quite loud. The large tables, which could accommodate various groups, were a nice touch.

Food was nice! Staff came only to our table to take our order twice between 6pm and 10pm. When we looked at them eyecontact was ignored. They didn’t ask if we wanted dessert or any refills on the drinks. Bad service…

A beautiful, modern pasta concept. You sit on the terrace, sheltered from the wind by the street, and watch the hustle and bustle. The prices are fair, and you get a different kind of pasta served here from a shortened menu. The clientele is friendly and the service is friendly.

Hello! This is Amsterdam at night. We just got back from Restaurant Spaghetteria. We had pasta there with bread and sauce. Delicious. Just like being at home.

Very fine pasta. The service is good, but sometimes you have to wave in order to get attention and a little noisy inside.

Good food I wouldn’t say a great place for pasta. Lacks the protein portion in dishes. Service and atmosphere is great. Good for big groups too.

The service is friendly, the place is clean and well-organized, and the food is simply fantastic – fresh, delicious, and served in a pleasant atmosphere. We really enjoyed the relaxed and welcoming vibe throughout our visit. One small note – it might be helpful to add a bit more staff during busy hours. We went in the evening for 1 cannoli and 1 espresso and on the menu the coffee is 1.50€ and when the waiter makes us pay he charges 2€. keep a close eye on your bill

Very welcoming room, pleasant soft light, large tables which, shared with many other diners, feel like being with family... The dining and kitchen staff are very friendly, helpful and always at work. What about the dishes. The dishes are definitely better than the other. Thanks to spaghetteria you have the opportunity to learn about or live an Italian experience.

“I walked into Spaghetteria expecting a nice meal, but the entire restaurant had an overwhelming, unpleasant odor—like a WC. It was so bad that I had to leave immediately. Very disappointing atmosphere.”

Cozy but very loud atmosphere and friendly service, making it a great spot for an authentic Italian dining experience. We had Spaghetti alla chitarra Aglio Olio con Pistacchio and Ravioli al Gorgonzola. Both were top notch. I liked their Tiramisu al Marsala as well.

It's ok . Kitchen is not flexible at all ,no alterations at all Waiting staff try but neglect sometimes. Nothing special really Wine selection is poor if you Don't want a bottle.

Typical Italian restaurant with a small menu. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for some things. The Tiramisu is excellent!

We had pasta with wild boar ragout and ravioli, it was good but the final whistle was missing, the filling in the ravioli was too much in relation to the pasta dough

Tasty pasta for a good price. They have a daily changing menu here. We had the ravioli with a filling of pesto and ricotta with butter and sage sauce and spaghetti with olive oil, garlic and pistachio. Both were very sassy.

Pastas are quite plain - extras wise... just sauce and pasta, no veg, much meat, etc. So not greatly exciting. Service was quite slow but was quick to be bought the food when we eventually had our order taken

I am surprised, tonight our food was not great and did not meet the high menu prices, Our pasta dishes, ragu and sausage, had no taste and seemed to be oily and bland, as if over cooked several times in a microwave. Mentioned to staff but they did not seem very interested. Glass of wine was not up to the price asked. Sorry but expected better. Location good staff friendly.

We stumbled upon it by chance because it was close to the hotel where we had just arrived Nice and welcoming place We ordered a burrata with crostini and tomato and a spaghetti alla guitar with pistachio pesto Unfortunately the spaghetti was too garlicky (as the locals like) but inedible for us. The owner was so kind that he remade it for us from scratch without garlic and without charging us any extra The second course was really good and plentiful! Good experience

Had dinner here with a large group on the terrace. Was delicious for a great price. The waitress was also fantastic!

We were three, two of us ordered the same dish - ravioli- and the other one something else. We got one ravioli and two of the others but they were very kind to give us a dish to share the first ravioli until the second one came. Atmosphere was very homey and the food was fresh and delicious!

Really lovely service and atmosphere. Cocktails were great, very well priced too. Food was nice, was expecting better for a restaurant dedicated to spaghetti/pasta. Service was incredible, such attentive and friendly staff.

Food is fine. The only thing missing is sometimes the real, authentic Italian here. The tiramisu is really a 10 (for me) super soft and creamy.

Extremely overpriced pasta in relation with the quality. Also I found weird the concept of everybody sitting in a big table, if you are a group, you only hear those next to you or you have to scream to communicate with the rest. Definitely wouldn’t return nor recommend.

Best ravioli I've ever eaten. These are made there in-house and freshly filled. I had ravioli with truffle filling.

Italian Approved ! I got tagliatelle al ragù di gamberi and it was amazing. pasta was nicely cooked and the sauce was very tasty. The tiramisu was a bit runny but still ok. Cannolo was not great, choose another dessert or go to sicily 🤪 the guys from the service were amazing

Service was good and the tiramisu was delicious. Overall, the food was okay not incredibly overpriced for how simple it tasted. My arrabbiata had really big garlic pieces in it which was not very pleasant.

Overall we had a great time. It was unfortunate that the type of pasta could not be changed for the dish, and sometimes we felt like we had to wait a while before we got served or before someone noticed we needed something. Besides that the food was great, staff was friendly, and the general vibe of the restaurant was very cosy.

We have a young daughter and went in mid afternoon (5pm). Loved seeing the place full of families with kids, and later in the night a place for adults as well.

Hele leuke tent om te eten! Zeer leuk personeel ook. Ik ben een moeilijke eter, maar over die tiramisu valt niet te twisten. Die is geweldig. Het is dat ik geen 6 sterren plus plus kan geven, maar dat verdient deze zaak.

Had verongeluk de verkeerde kant van de sterren gebruikt, hele leuke avond gehad!

Eerste keer hier eten besteld, om mee te nemen. Dit was bijzonder lekker zeg. Heerlijk. Als toetje had ik de tiramisu. Zat in een plastic bakje en ik dacht eerst, zal wel een simpel iets zijn. Maar ik nam een hap en wat een sensatie. Holy .... dit was oprecht mijn eerste echte lekkerste tiramisu die ik ooit op had. Ik kan maar 5 sterren geven. Het eten was voor mij in totaal 10 sterren en dan had ik de Take away optie. 100 punten!!!!

Update: since you asked for details on the rating, I am writing why the experience was not very good. There were two things that kind of ruined the experience. First thing, we waited a long time for the dishes to arrive. It should be noted that we were told it would take time, but we probably did not expect how long it would really take. Even until a waiter approached us for the first time to ask what we wanted, it took a while. The second thing was more significant. Due to our lack of understanding (we do not speak Dutch) we ordered a spaghetti dish for the little girl which was very spicy. We eat a lot in Italian restaurants, and until this time, it hasn't happened to us. She really couldn't eat the dish. When one of the waitresses came to us to ask if all good, we told her about the dish and that our daughter couldn't eat. The waitress was very nice and offered us another dish for the girl. We were very happy for the kindness and generous service and at this point we didn't care that it took a long time for the dishes to arrive. Because the attitude was excellent and we felt that we were understood. But to our surprise, when the bill arrived we found out that she did offer a different dish but at our expense! It was really annoying. If I want to buy another dish for my daughter, I know how to do it, I don't need fake empathy for that. We were sure, and this is a very reasonable expectation from a good restaurant that she took us into consideration and so that we would be satisfied, she offered another dish at the expense of the house, but this was not the case. In that case, it is better to simply say that you are sorry for the experience and hope that the other dishes were good or something like that, but not to suggest that we buy something else.

Great food and cozy atmosphere, had the ravioli and a side salad, both were perfect. The choice of wines wasn’t too big, but the wine itself was quite good. All in all a little hidden gem in Oud Zuid that I’ll definitely visit again

Het was nog vroeg en rustig maar lijkt een hele gezellige plek voor heerlijk eten. Ik had penne in tomatensaus en die was echt lekker. Aanrader!

heerlijk gegeten alleen de bestelling was niet goed gegaan de salades waren vergeten. Personeel werkt hard maar bediening kan beter Zou meer gefocust kunnen zijn moest tot drie keer herhalen wat ik wilde hebben . Vond dit erg vervelend. Later werd door iemand anders meteen begrepen wat ik wilde . Aandachts puntje.

We had to wait for our food for almost an hour. The excuse we were given was that the dishwasher broke and there were no free pans (which can happen but you should make an attempt to warn your visitors about this inconvenience and the fact that the food will only arrive in 60 mins). We also never received the promised bread 🥲

The tomato sauce was very bland and I had to put a lot of salt into the dish as there was no seasoning. Even though the menu said the dish was vegan there was cheese in it so I suggest asking about anything on the menu with dietary restrictions before ordering. Also the food took over 40 minutes to arrive even though it was not busy at the time. Overall, ok experience but don’t come starving

Lekker eten met redelijk speciale gerechten. Ze willen wel geen gewone koffie serveren alleen expresso en ook geen dubbele (??) dat is namelijk niet Italiaanse gebruik ( raar al naar Italië geweest en waren niet contraire)

Will do a negative review after a while. I did not have a great experience here for 3 reasons; 1-Service: middle of the course, one of the waiters asked “how is your food?”. I answered like “meh, so so, not enjoying that much”. You know what happened? NOTHING. Soooo why are you asking if you are not gonna do anything about it? We just looked at each other and that is it. First time in years I left a restaurant without a tip. 2- Food: I ordered spaghetti because (come on) look at the name of the restaurant. Disappointed big time. No different than what you can cook at home. I’ve been in Italy couple times, I don’t expect that level but if you call yourself an italian restaurant and name yourself spaghetteria, I would’ve expected better taste. Moreover, portions are small compared to the price and they serve pasta with bread. First time I’ve seen bread next to pasta. 3- Price: Main dishes (different kind of pasta) prices vary between 17-20 Euro which is a bit overpriced to me if you are not like fine dine restaurant. Overall, nice athmosphere but bad service/food. If you are an Italian restaurant but bad with pasta? Stop and think.

Such a great meal! The pasta is fantastic, we had the shrimp ragú. The burrata and bruschetta were a 3.5, but the pasta was a 5 star! The staff are very welcoming and nice.
