Spuistraat 122 - Italian Restaurant in Burgwallen-Nieuwe Zijde

Edit 2022: Great pizza. I have tried most pizzerias in Amsterdam, including those trendy places like De Pizzabakkers (gross). But Pomorosso on the Amstelveense Weg and this restaurant (5 JUNIOR Spuistraat) really have by far the best pizzas in Amsterdam.

Unfortunately we stood in front of closed doors, annoying because it was raining and we went there specifically. 🫤

Friendly and attentive staff. The pizzas we consumed tasted delicious.

Nice little shop...unfortunately the service is subpar. Pizza looked delicious, unfortunately there were 2 long black hairs involved. Unfortunately, after a polite complaint, there was neither an apology nor a new pizza. Unfortunately, the toilet is also a negative adventure... The toilet door couldn't be closed, it just stayed open about 20cm. It's a real shame because I prefer such small shops and I can't recommend this one.

Went out for dinner with my boyfriend yesterday. Very nice tent. Very nice Service! Pizza was delicious. Only the pasta was unedible. Dry with lots of garlic. Hope you do something about this. Because otherwise it was a nice tent.

Restaurante encantador, abierto hasta tarde! Los argentinos lo agradecemos. Comida italiana de primera, pastas deliciosas. Precio muy razonable en relación a lo habitual en Amsterdam. Lo descubrimos hambrientos al llegar de noche a Amsterdam y hoy volvimos. Nada defrauda. Lo recomendamos sin duda.

Richtig niedliches Restaurant. Wir haben spät noch was zum Essen gesucht und haben hier noch einen herzlichen Empfang bekommen. Die Karte ist sehr Nudel-lastig aber es war alles frisch und hat uns super geschmeckt! Der Limoncello-Spritz ist sehr zu empfehlen :) Das Personal war super freundlich und unkompliziert. Gerne wieder!

We came for birthday dinner with reservation, based on good rating on restaurant and Pizza. Very annoying to see there is no pizza on the menu. Ordered carpaccio and salad as starter. Carpaccio wasn't available. Ordered carprese instead as starter. As the main dish came we asked for the starter and got to know that there was no starter available. Pasta was ok not more. Service was terribly overstrained.

Very nice place, the main dish (linguine for us) and the salad are very good, but the best part was the dessert, a really really good tiramisu, if you go here, make sure you leave space for it. Also te people in here was very kind and warm. Worth mentioning, the place do not have a visible name just the address.

Amazing pasta and amazing service! It is a gem of Amsterdam with a true Italian ambience. We loved it and will come back again for sure!!

Tjonge, wat kan simpel koken lekker zijn. Zelfgemaakt brood met wat parmaham, olijfolie en grof zout. Of die pasta met echte truffel. Of de lekkerste pizza die ik ooit heb gegeten (ik ben al 57 rn geloof me: ik at veel pizzas). Met echte buffelmozarella en wat basilicum en goede parmezaam.

Spaghetti was the most basic, bland, flavorless dish. Friend had pumpkin ravioli, €18 for 5 pieces. Not the best experience. We did get a discount on the bill when mentioning at the end but wouldn’t go again

Heel leuk restsurantje. Het is vrij klein, maar we konden op donderdag avond zo binnenlopen en er was plek genoeg. Vriendelijk personeel, in de bediening stond een man alleen en die sprak wel engels. Het eten was heerlijk, goede service en ook een fijne rustige plek. Het restaurant is echt als in italië ingericht.

L'accueil et le personnel est très avenant. On se sent à l'aise et bien accueilli. Les pizzas n'étaient pas sur la carte, mais après demande, nous avons pu avoir la liste de celles disponibles. En ce qui concerne la nourriture, les quantités sont suffisantes et les prix très corrects. En revanche, je trouve qu'il manquait un peu de saveur à la pizza, et que les pâtes étaient un peu trop poivrées.

Nous avons attendu longuement (une bonne trentaine de minutes) car nous faisions confiance aux précédents commentaires. Mal nous en a pris, les plats ne sont pas copieux, l’addition est salée. Pire déception depuis le season final de game of thrones. A éviter.

Amazing place, where the quality really matters! Fresh food, Real Ingredients and 100% Italian People. The best pizza in the city! And don't forget all the "hard to find" real Italian wines! PLEASE BE AWARE OF FAKE REVIEWS LIKE THE ONE OF Mr. Muath Saad! I was also there that evening and heard his friend calling his name in the restaurant to tell him to stop being rude. This individual arrived when the restaurant was full, sat down and after 5 minutes screamed to the owner expecting to be served immediately,then saw the chef walking and also welcoming people and he talked very rude also towards him. So maybe Prince Saad chose the wrong place to come to eat and acting with NO MANNERS AT ALL! Next time go to Bel Air,Fresh Prince!

The old restaurant is closed and the new owners just take advantage of the good review the old place had. Their service quality is not near close to what Spuistraat 122 had to offer - its an average restaurant in which no Italian would set foot.

in the last months staff and menu changed - so this place does not have anymore the delicious pizza ( actually no pizza at all anymore). We still wanted to try it out and had 2 different dishes of pasta and some wine - taste was ok, but nothing special and my dish came out cold :(. there were only 2 other people at this place and took around half an hour to bring the food and half the order was cold. half a star is for the cat that kept us entertained while waiting for the food. when it was a pizza place we were there several times and always was amazing. unfortunately,not the case anymore.

It seems that the menu have changed from Posted pictures here, there is no more variety. However the food was very tasty. we had the ravioli, it was amaizing, also the the spaghetti was good. The tiramisu was to die for. Also,the service was very welcoming.

Our new Amsterdam favorite, this is how I like an Italian restaurant. I judge an Italien restaurant on the quality of the basic pasta's, like just oil garlic and pepper, this was pasta art. Then eccelent and very personal service. An other good sign, it was completely filled with Italians. Love it!

Super delicious food!! Try the pasta Cacio Pepe made in the cheese wheel!! Everything tastes great!! Juicy meat... Perfect al dente pasta’s..... Amazing pizza’s too!! And very good service!!

Wunderbares Restaurant. Die Besitzer sprechen perfektes Englisch und alle wünsche werden erfüllt. Der Pizzateig ist einsame Spitze.
