Barista don’t know how to make coffee

It’s alright. Nothing amazing, coffee average and staff just going through the motions. Sadly no enthusiasm or love comes through, but then this is a chain store so 🤷🏼‍♀️. They have some nice treats, and different teas/beers etc. Not cheap but ok. Would be good if the staff showed a little more spark and joir de vivre.

Terrible Service. The employee looked like she couldnt be bothered to care. I walked in with a smile say "hi, how are you", I just get a grunt back. I leave and say "take care have a good day" and she couldn't be bothered to look up from her phone. Simple decency goes a long way, especially when someone is being pleasant to you, but I wont be going out of my way to go there anymore.

This place has the worst chocolate. It's pure industrial sugar, chews like blocks of wood and sells for 4 EUR a piece. Incredible. Decent sandwiches and classic mediocre Dutch service.

Very convenient franchise, this is my first time visiting one of their locations. Their stores invite you to buy everything, they displays and colors inside are nice. This locations has a couple of sitting spaces, to enjoy your food. The service was quick, I got the turmeric latte. Which was good and not to sweet for me.

Cappuccino of 3.85 was a lukewarm bite with milk, little coffee to taste. Never again.

Not very impressive, not very impressive

Just ordered 2 carpaccio sandwiches via home delivery. After more than an hour, these sandwiches were delivered. The rolls are cold, chewy and as hard as a brick, as if they were put in the refrigerator yesterday and happily sold again today. I tried to call Stach 3 times and they hung up the phone 3 times. It is unbelievable that you dare to sell sandwiches (for a total of 20 euros incl. delivery) that break people's teeth and then do not take responsibility for this.

Extremely disinterested staff, who reluctantly stood up when I walked into the store. I would also have had to pay almost 6 euros too much if I had not paid attention. No apology was offered for this. I don't often leave a store worse than when I enter it.

Today I gave up on Stach. I like their coffee but it’s the 4th time I pay extra because they make a Medium latte and each time I ask for small. Also my fault that I had to check how much I pay. Moreover, today I got oat milk and I asked for almond milk. The lady offered me to change with almond milk but wasting food/drinks is not an option. And I don’t think my Dutch is too bad to be misunderstood 😑

Please rename your brownie to chocolate cake. I was so disappointed :( it has nothing to do with brownie.

Pretty good coffee and oatmeal cookies. Not spectacularly great coffee though and really depending on the person behind the counter. Sandwiches are not really highly recommendable. Stach is usually the first ones that open in the neighborhood so that’s a plus!

Top winkel! Ondanks het feit dat het best een kleine winkel is, is er veel aanbod. Er werken super lieve meiden die je graag helpen. Ik ga er graag heen!

Fijne winkel met goede broodjes

If you read my reviews it's no secret that I'm a big fan of the Stach cafes and stores. I first went to this location last year and at that time it was half the size it is now. Stach is very consistent with their brand at all their locations. Same menu (except for their two burger bar cafes). They have their regular great broodjes and sweets, wine and beer. I love their Chenin Blanc (which was sold out at this time). This store is a corner-store entrance...very common with most of the Stach's locations. They prefer and target these properties because in the "old days" the Dutch used these corner locations as a "meeting place" - so they told me. They most recently replaced their other half of the store (which I assume was seating added since I was last there) with a "pop-up" market to support local vendors and distributors who can no longer sell to local restaurants. Great, high quality restaurant quality food for you to purchase and take home and make - with directions (in Dutch) and everything you need. Plus a lot of condiments and everything else. See my photos. This is located near the Zoud (south-west) side of Vondelpark in Amsterdam on a major road and near a huge canal. It's in more of residential area but with tons of high-end retail shops. They are obviously still open during this pandemic. They usually have one or two courages, very friendly people working in there (due to spacing issues). There are only four (4) customers allowed in the winkle at a time - which is a lot for many small shops in Amsterdam. They will whip up an awesome broodje (sandwich) for you in a hurry. If you have to wait outside, it doesn't take long for them to finish with a customer. It's amazing how the people of Amsterdam adapt and are polite enough to scoot out of the store when finished so the people waiting can get inside. I can imagine this was a great place to get some telework done when it allowed inside eating - but it's worth visiting next time you're in Amsterdam and staying on that side of town. As a silly hobby, I've tried to visit every Stach in the country. The two I haven't visited yet are closed until the government changes the Corona restrictions. Bedankt (thank you) Stach for keeping your stores open during these terrible times, giving us a small sense of normalcy in Amsterdam as well as your wonderful service and products! I'll follow-up with this review after things return to normal and the store is back in full-swing!

Outstanding service and an amazing store!

Etwas teuer im Verhältnis aber okay

Stopped by this place while in the neighborhood last week or so and it was amazing! The food was delicious and it was really peaceful, therefore a perfect place to hang out while enjoying your meal. Plus, the worker had Khalid on when I was there hahaha.

Can I be honest? I only go there cause I like checking out samples and then I give in and buy that product cause it actually tastes good. I am not a fan of sitting in there cause I find the food to be over priced but oh well not too bad. Has a hip vibe and very sweet servers!

when you walk into stach, looking at the display of food, your mouth just can't stop watering. they have a great selection of cooked food, pastries, drinks, condiments, cheese, cookies all crammed in this tight little spot where you can sit down and have a coffee too. very decent.

Lots of delicious food, but a bit expensive.
