The space is special but what Starbucks has made of it is really awful. Feels like Moscow in the 70’s/80’s.

🎈 This branch of Starbucks is located in Amsterdam Centraal train station, 2nd floor, in front of platform 2. Inside the store, there is a very beautiful decoration, brick orange tones, and the store is spacious. There are seats divided into several zones. 🎈 Come use the service just in time for Christmas. The store's promotions and products will also have a Christmas theme. It has a very beautiful red color. We love this festival ❤️🎅🏻

What a customer service! The baristas here made a special latte for me, and even checked afterwards if it was to my taste. Loved it, definitely recommend!

Getting to a train to Paris. Partner had stood in line with a keepsake Amsterdam expresso cup and to order a coffee. The cup had slipped from the box and shattered on the floor. Partner was shocked and apologetic. Wanting to pay for the breakage. Scott came over and quickly took a new cup and handed it over while asking if she was okay and not hurt. When she apologised, he mentioned it’s just a cup and smiled. We witnessed a fantastic service from Scott and the entire team this morning. They cared for her safety and ensured her experience was good. She definitely left a much happier and calm person after the small fiasco. Beautiful inside, delicious drinks and desserts

This is about the smaller Starbucks inside the station, without seating. The staff is only joking among themselves, very slow with the orders, no respect for the customer. Never again!

Not a single eye for the customer, waiting 20 minutes for 1 latte in a line of 4 people. But especially not paying attention to who is in front of you. Missed train. Paid €4.65. Never again.

Delicious warm bread and nice barista

There are 4 of them, and there are 2 of them working. The gentleman in front of me left without his coffee because of his train and I almost did the same. And despite the wait, my chai has no taste.

On weekends it opens at 8 not 7 :(

It seems like they don't know what customer service means here. Extremely rude, unfriendly Starbucks staff at this branch. I understand it sometimes, at such a Central Station location, with so many people in one day. but I don't think it's really right in terms of price ratio. Even at the station kiosk (where the coffee even tastes better) they have a nice chat with you and often wish you a good journey.

Bad Starbucks. An employee with long red/orange hair. Super rude. I had bought a bottle of drink in the AH opposite. Just didn't see that Starbucks had it too. She ripped the bottle right out of my hand. Instead of her asking first if I got it from Starbucks. And they weren't even allowed to ask questions about the coffees there. What bad service. Starbucks needs to better train their employees on how to be polite

When will the toffee nut latte be available?

Very disappointed, it seems to be the same in all Starbucks locations that the company has lost it's spark. Burnt milk and burnt coffee, I'd truly be embarrassed to charge so much money for oat milk that baristas don't know how to foam. No happiness or whatsoever is read on the faces of the staff. Pure misery, rude behaviour towards guests and no "going the extra mile". Nope. Burnt coffee and burnt milk. There are so many better options where coffee is actually of quality and staff still works with a smile. Super sad to see my favorite Starbucks has totally lost it's spark.

Starbucks on the top floor, the one in front of platform 2 has great service and the architecture and vibe is super cozy. Especially, Adriano, he always is super nice and friendly. Totally recommend it just for the team working on Tuesday and Thursday mornings :D!

Rude staff, they also overcharged me, all the staff look like they don't want to be there. The "manager" or the girl in black apron talk roughly to us. Never coming back to this Starbucks. I been coming to this company over the world this is the worst I been.

15.05 at 15:00 black guy with bandana was really slow for a mango dragon frozen… we waited almost 30 minutes and almost miss our train… speaking as a Starbucks worker;) at least the cashier was friendly

This is where Starbucks puts their least competent employees. Some iced drinks are made different than their hot counterpart, but this memo hasn’t stuck here. Watery iced drinks and the slowest service possible. Don’t go here, it’s worth it to go to a different Starbucks at the station.

On top on the super unfriendly attitude (took them a little while before acknowledging my presence while I was the only customer), I realised they served me a caffeinated drink when I specifically asked decaf for my takeaway. Poor coffee anyway

Tried to get coffee a few times with a transfer time of 9-10 minutes. Unfortunately slow service in Amsterdam CS, so no coffee and back in line. At other stations it goes much faster with the same number of people waiting in front of me. With expedited service I would happily come back for coffee.

Excellent service, not very crowded which is great. It is a little hidden but very good atmosphere.

The personnel giving my drink was very rude towards me. The quality of the drink was also different from some other Starbucks that I got the same drink. I won't go there again.

I ordered a frappuchino at the small shop inside the cebtraal station, there is a guy working who is nothing but a jerk! Asked him for a cover over the cup, started making fun of my accent and then passed a racist comment! Is this really what starbucks people are hiring?

The view overlooking the main station hall is pretty sweet, making it a cool place to hang out. But it's not exactly ideal for getting work done since they don't offer WiFi.

Awful loud techno music. I love going to clubs and music but I was in a starbucks and the techno music extremely loud and annoying. I needed to check emails and wanted to relax with a coffee and I had to leave in less than 20 minutes like so many other people because we couldn’t concentrate or relax. The place was really dirty. I tried 3 plugs to charge my phone and they didn’t work. And the iced tea peach doesn’t taste good, it’s overpriced as well. The only good thing is the view from the window.

Well I went to by my regular cup of coffee and as soon as I entered it was one Turkish I think boy member of the staff wich he pick a period pad and started ripping it of in front of everyone like he didn't have other job to do . And when I asked him like what are you doing he said why you care is non of you business. While from his hands we customers drinking our coffee.

Served half cup of cappuccino after a long wait

If you want to go to the train at the top of the cafe, there are entrance and exit turnstiles. You should have such a wonderful experience in terms of atmosphere.

Expensive but delicious and very adapted to tastes and needs. But that's what it is in big cities. I only ordered caramel cappuccino coffee

after asking for vegetable milk in my drink i was told they didn’t have any and only had oat and soy milk (which is a vegetable), which even if soy wasn’t a vegetable is a useless comment to make as everyone refers to non lactose milk as vegetable milk, after this the worker kept making smug and condescending jokes as we were paying and waiting for our drinks. but maybe he wasn’t trying to be rude and the language barrier made him sound rude from my point of view 🤷🏻‍♀️ the atmosphere was nice tho

Horrible service by Jake. I asked him to crush my ice coffee, and he refused! He said he doesn't do that. I had to re order a Frappuccino to get crushed ice. I asked for the manager, and he refused to give me his number.

Beautiful branch of the coffee giant. Being a premium coffee you hope you don't have to beg the waiter to help you or not make you wait while the coffee he just poured cools. Well, the truth is, how beautiful the place is does not make up for these things.

It says it closes at 21:00 we went at 19:00 and it was closed. We were told there was another Starbucks in the station as well but you needed a train ticket (not only metro) to go in. Very disappointing.

It’s hands down my favourite Starbucks. We go there all the time. Gives Starbucks in Hogwarts vibes, absolutely love! And always happy to see Jesse - the barista. He is sooooo nice, super chill dude, love his energy.

Takes 30 min to serve a hazulnut chocolate crunch with 2 people at the queue. Guess what they decided half of the ingredients will do since they did not have all. Why did I pay for the hole deal then? Is this a habit? Worst starbucks experience world wide.

Dude that was obviously new was amazing and really nice. But the dude with more experience was awful. Rude and in a hurry. Obviously tired of people. Coffee with milk is really milk with a hint of coffee. Frappucino is just water.

Very rude service. The girl who was preparing the drinks after asking her how am I supposed to eat my cheesecake if they don’t have a fork replied me rudely I have no idea don’t ask me what to do, I am here just like you are here. They didn’t even tell in advance they have no forks but just took my money. On top of it the service is very slow. Absolutely ridiculous way to talk to customer!!

awesome monumental part inside of amsterdam central station. super high wooden sealing.with a view towards the grachten (canals). situated on the first floor. follow the starbucks sign while walking up the stairs.....

Disinterested and routine service that is actually heating up and eating French fries from MacDonalds.

Sometimes you just need a good coffee before your train and this is the place to have one.

Company that has no values, bad coffee

10 minutes of waiting at the checkout for someone to finally explain to us that the system is blocked and that we therefore cannot be served. Problems happen but on 7 servers, a little responsiveness from one of them would have been the minimum

A rude morning shift cashier (guy, blonde hair) who's an expert at ruining customers' day. This person won't let you stay in the store for even a minute if you order with a to-go cup and keeps staring at you if you're just standing there but not drinking. If he were polite, that would be understandable, but he's talking in an unfriendly manner even when the store is not busy at all.

NO Starbucks WIFI, but in a very pretty space. There is train terminal WIFI but I could not get it to work there even with full strength. If you need WiFi, the terminal WiFi worked for me in the ticket office essentially at the other end of the front of he train station.

Please have someone cheerful personnel in the morning. Really bad service and awful people in the morning. For both the branches in Amsterdam Centraal ground floor. Not all but the people in the morning there should not work the morning shift.

Rude cashier, I was talking to my bf in portuguese, showing him a new drink when the rude cashier interrupted us and said loudly that it didn't matter what was in the screen because they didn't have it, by far the WORST experience in starbucks! Why are the staff so rude?

I had a great time in Starbucks and had a cup of coffee, it was great.

Starbucks is Starbucks everywhere. So the coffee quality and selection is the same as everywhere else. What is different here versus other places is that this Starbucks is usually quite busy compared to other ones. Due to being in the Central Station, it received a big traffic, hence the waiting tomes are high. Sometimes when I am not in rush, I wait, but sometimes when I want a fast coffee I choose other coffee shops inside Amsterdam Central Station. Other than long waiting times, everything is good!

Pretty sure I just got laughed at by a server for ordering a stroop waffle latte as a 32 year old man but jokes on them because now I have a stroop waffle latte

You can't go wrong with good cup of coffee

Een echte Starbucks. Het is wel een SCHANDAAL dat ze € 0,10 extra rekenen voor de beker voor de koffie, terwijl ze niets doen om de bekers weer in te nemen. Gooi maar in de vuilnisbak, was het advies. Dus maken ze er gewoon een ordinaire prijsverhoging van voor hun klanten En ze doen niets aan het milieu wat het doel was van die € 0,10.

The staff working there is okay. The food was old and cold. I ended up leaving the place disgusted after seeing a fly inside the glass bakery display (after ordering again).
