I had a wonderful experience at this Starbucks branch. The staff member (Olga) who served me was extremely kind, professional, and welcoming. She made my day with her positive attitude and great customer service. Thank you for such a pleasant experience – I will definitely come back!

Beautiful location with history, worth stopping by This Starbucks is often called one of the most beautiful Starbucks locations, mainly because of where it’s situated. It used to be the waiting area for second-class train passengers, and you can still feel that historic charm in the space. The high ceilings and grand setting make it quite different from a typical Starbucks. Coffee and food are what you’d expect from Starbucks — consistent and familiar — but the location itself is the real highlight. A nice place to sit, rest, and enjoy a drink while taking in the surroundings, especially if you’re passing through Amsterdam Centraal.

Starbucks always makes coffee feel like home. And a warm Cinnamon Cupcake is the most delicious you can imagine. I'd never had it before because I'm not a fan of cinnamon, but when I tried it at Starbucks, it became my absolute favorite!

The employees are cheerful but there is a monster inside them, except for the cute, bright girl from Kyrgyzstan or Kazakhstan who smiles beautifully and expands her energy field 🥰🫶🏻🫶🏻

Beautiful & old fashioned. Beautiful & well maintained location of Starbucks.

Absolutely beautiful! Almost a must-see. Very quiet and relatively empty. Sitting in the side room above the entrance hall is also incredibly beautiful, but significantly louder.

Solid kava, pleasant atmosphere...

The attitude is average. The heated sandwich was good at first, but the cheese was too much and a bit greasy. The price is okay in Europe.

Better SB at Amsterdam. But generally its always dirty. Tables are not cleaned almost all of the day.

Play music way too loud. Could not even have a normal conversation. Thought this was a coffee house but apparently its a dance club.

Inside Amsterdam Central Station, on the first floor, is this Starbucks. It's not chaotic like all the others around the city, but rather cozy. It has a terrace from which you can watch the hustle and bustle. For those who like it, the selection is the same as at other Starbucks. For me, everything is undrinkable except the smoothies—and that's saying something...

First, the positive: this is a really nice location, a handsome, high-ceilinged room within Amsterdam station. Not your typical Starbucks. Unfortunately, the service wasn't great. There were three people on duty behind the counter, and it wasn't at all busy (the room was 80% empty the whole time we were there), but they managed to get my son's drink order wrong TWICE - the second time he decided to accept what they'd given him with no more fuss (though I was in favour of rejecting it again). And this wasn't a one-off - the couple behind us were also given the wrong drink! They weren't quick either. And no apology was forthcoming, not even a smile. They only time I saw the staff smiling was while they were nattering to each other (which they seemed to prefer doing to anything else). Honestly, if you don't like dealing with the public, don't work in Starbucks!

Possibly the best place in Amsterdam. Friendly, smiling (the Dutch don't smile much), fast, and above all, the coffee is delicious.

The interior is classic and beautifully decorated. It’s a great spot to relax, wait for your train, and just enjoy the view. Highly recommend it!

Far too expensive for what you get. The staff are nice. Orders are ready very quickly. The items you get are very small and, while they taste very good, there are far too few.

The coffee at Starbucks is always delicious! They have a wide selection of tasty specials that surprise every time. For us, Starbucks is always the perfect start to a day of shopping or a fun day in the city. A nice place to recharge and enjoy a good cup of coffee!

Tuve que acceder a través de pasos, servicio rápido y un montón de opciones. Las bebidas estaban llenas de gran sabor y no retenían con los jarabes. Nos dieron 3 x caramelo frapps y 1 x galletas y crema y estaba lleno de sabor. El lugar está bastante limpio y un montón de stock en la parte de azúcar y pajas. El personal era amable y rápido en tomar órdenes.

I’m not a fan of this café, but I stopped by while waiting for the train. It’s usually very crowded and quite noisy. The pastries are too industrial, and the service feels impersonal.

Starbucks at Amsterdam Central Station is definitely my favorite in the city. Especially in the morning, the staff is always the friendliest and most welcoming. They’re super attentive and, after just a few visits, they already know your order, and even your name! It's the kind of place where you feel like a regular!

15th for a chocolate + cinnamon roll and a muffin. The chocolate doesn't taste like chocolate....... Disappointed as usual with this brand.

Really slow service. I had 30 min until my train was coming. Thought I'd take my time to sit down for a coffee. They tried to add vanilla to my latte to charge me more. I asked them to correct the order. Took 18 min to get my drink. When I asked they were like oh I don't have your order, what did you order? I had to ask them to make my coffee immediately cos I had little time left to get my drink. There were also loads of people waiting for their coffee getting stressed/annoyed.

That was the worst cub of cappuccino i have ever had Starbucks.. probably the last time I go to Starbucks

Having places to charge your phone makes it a great place to stop and plan for tourists.

I went early in the morning and they were not that busy, friendly service and clean place. As for the food: the same as all Starbucks. To have a coffee while you wait for the train is ok

This Starbucks is ideal for a drink during your transit. The atmosphere and ambiance, with a view of the station square, is really beautiful. Furthermore, the high roof and old-fashioned furnishings make an impression. All in all, highly recommended! Just check in/out.

I ordered a white mocca, it has no flavor at all, if I wanted a latte I would have ordered one... paid too much for this mess... I often go to different Starbucks, but not this one anymore.

ordered a pistachio latte, which was completely cold and had no pistachio taste, and I also ordered a pistachio loaf. And when I had to choose something else that was one euro cheaper, they didn't give me the rest of the money back.

Beautiful place within the train. It has a very interesting 20th century European style that is worth looking. The person who attended us was very nice and helpful (Ralff, wrongly spelled).

Please please please fix the front of the counter panel. It’s incredibly heavy. Fell on me today and bruised my leg. Had it fallen on a young child it would be much worse. Staff says only corporate can have it fixed. Safety hazard.

The space is special but what Starbucks has made of it is really awful. Feels like Moscow in the 70’s/80’s.

What a customer service! The baristas here made a special latte for me, and even checked afterwards if it was to my taste. Loved it, definitely recommend!

🎈 This branch of Starbucks is located in Amsterdam Centraal train station, 2nd floor, in front of platform 2. Inside the store, there is a very beautiful decoration, brick orange tones, and the store is spacious. There are seats divided into several zones. 🎈 Come use the service just in time for Christmas. The store's promotions and products will also have a Christmas theme. It has a very beautiful red color. We love this festival ❤️🎅🏻

Getting to a train to Paris. Partner had stood in line with a keepsake Amsterdam expresso cup and to order a coffee. The cup had slipped from the box and shattered on the floor. Partner was shocked and apologetic. Wanting to pay for the breakage. Scott came over and quickly took a new cup and handed it over while asking if she was okay and not hurt. When she apologised, he mentioned it’s just a cup and smiled. We witnessed a fantastic service from Scott and the entire team this morning. They cared for her safety and ensured her experience was good. She definitely left a much happier and calm person after the small fiasco. This is about the smaller Starbucks inside the station, without seating. The staff is only joking among themselves, very slow with the orders, no respect for the customer. Never again!

Very fast for any service reasonable price

Savoring the finest açaí adorned with a generous topping of dried strawberries, we counted down the final hours to the new year. Though the nitrogen cold brew was unavailable, the barista thoughtfully suggested a cold Americano—a practical, equally delightful alternative that was easier on the wallet. I find myself loving this city even more than I did two decades ago. Its people are witty yet grounded, humane yet ambitious. These admirable qualities shape Amsterdam into a hub of creativity and vibrant energy, a city that inspires and invigorates all who visit.

Not a single eye for the customer, waiting 20 minutes for 1 latte in a line of 4 people. But especially not paying attention to who is in front of you. Missed train. Paid €4.65. Never again.

Delicious warm bread and nice barista

There are 4 of them, and there are 2 of them working. The gentleman in front of me left without his coffee because of his train and I almost did the same. And despite the wait, my chai has no taste.

On weekends it opens at 8 not 7 :(

It seems like they don't know what customer service means here. Extremely rude, unfriendly Starbucks staff at this branch. I understand it sometimes, at such a Central Station location, with so many people in one day. but I don't think it's really right in terms of price ratio. Even at the station kiosk (where the coffee even tastes better) they have a nice chat with you and often wish you a good journey.

Bad Starbucks. An employee with long red/orange hair. Super rude. I had bought a bottle of drink in the AH opposite. Just didn't see that Starbucks had it too. She ripped the bottle right out of my hand. Instead of her asking first if I got it from Starbucks. And they weren't even allowed to ask questions about the coffees there. What bad service. Starbucks needs to better train their employees on how to be polite

Very disappointed, it seems to be the same in all Starbucks locations that the company has lost it's spark. Burnt milk and burnt coffee, I'd truly be embarrassed to charge so much money for oat milk that baristas don't know how to foam. No happiness or whatsoever is read on the faces of the staff. Pure misery, rude behaviour towards guests and no "going the extra mile". Nope. Burnt coffee and burnt milk. There are so many better options where coffee is actually of quality and staff still works with a smile. Super sad to see my favorite Starbucks has totally lost it's spark.

Starbucks on the top floor, the one in front of platform 2 has great service and the architecture and vibe is super cozy. Especially, Adriano, he always is super nice and friendly. Totally recommend it just for the team working on Tuesday and Thursday mornings :D!

Rude staff, they also overcharged me, all the staff look like they don't want to be there. The "manager" or the girl in black apron talk roughly to us. Never coming back to this Starbucks. I been coming to this company over the world this is the worst I been.

It was nice and quiet when I went. But the special menu doesn't seem to be available.

This is where Starbucks puts their least competent employees. Some iced drinks are made different than their hot counterpart, but this memo hasn’t stuck here. Watery iced drinks and the slowest service possible. Don’t go here, it’s worth it to go to a different Starbucks at the station.

On top on the super unfriendly attitude (took them a little while before acknowledging my presence while I was the only customer), I realised they served me a caffeinated drink when I specifically asked decaf for my takeaway. Poor coffee anyway

Tried to get coffee a few times with a transfer time of 9-10 minutes. Unfortunately slow service in Amsterdam CS, so no coffee and back in line. At other stations it goes much faster with the same number of people waiting in front of me. With expedited service I would happily come back for coffee.

The personnel giving my drink was very rude towards me. The quality of the drink was also different from some other Starbucks that I got the same drink. I won't go there again.

I ordered a frappuchino at the small shop inside the cebtraal station, there is a guy working who is nothing but a jerk! Asked him for a cover over the cup, started making fun of my accent and then passed a racist comment! Is this really what starbucks people are hiring?

The view overlooking the main station hall is pretty sweet, making it a cool place to hang out. But it's not exactly ideal for getting work done since they don't offer WiFi.

Awful loud techno music. I love going to clubs and music but I was in a starbucks and the techno music extremely loud and annoying. I needed to check emails and wanted to relax with a coffee and I had to leave in less than 20 minutes like so many other people because we couldn’t concentrate or relax. The place was really dirty. I tried 3 plugs to charge my phone and they didn’t work. And the iced tea peach doesn’t taste good, it’s overpriced as well. The only good thing is the view from the window.

Well I went to by my regular cup of coffee and as soon as I entered it was one Turkish I think boy member of the staff wich he pick a period pad and started ripping it of in front of everyone like he didn't have other job to do . And when I asked him like what are you doing he said why you care is non of you business. While from his hands we customers drinking our coffee.

If you want to go to the train at the top of the cafe, there are entrance and exit turnstiles. You should have such a wonderful experience in terms of atmosphere.

after asking for vegetable milk in my drink i was told they didn’t have any and only had oat and soy milk (which is a vegetable), which even if soy wasn’t a vegetable is a useless comment to make as everyone refers to non lactose milk as vegetable milk, after this the worker kept making smug and condescending jokes as we were paying and waiting for our drinks. but maybe he wasn’t trying to be rude and the language barrier made him sound rude from my point of view 🤷🏻‍♀️ the atmosphere was nice tho
