Happy with a Starbucks at this station. A nice place to relax for a bit, or to wait for someone. Friendly staff and coffees just the way they should be.

They automatically give you a large size instead of a medium or a small one. It’s not even about the price for me; the coffee now has way too much milk. No time to get a new one, my morning is ruined :/. Furthermore, they are always upselling, it’s terrible.

This Starbucks which is on my way to work had the audacity the day after a tragedy to write smile more on my coffee cup - I went inside and explained my station and how offensive it is to tell women to smile more and they were completely dismissive and all I was asking for was a second cup - they even tried to say it was a policy of Starbucks - Anouk especially had a look on her face that I was crazy and about to charge me for another cup. Outrageous.

The employee (I think his name was Abdu) was super nice and helpful. The limited edition unicorn frappes he made were delicious!! 💝

We decided to have a coffee while waiting for the bus inside the train station, but I can say the inside was very dirty, the seats and everything.

This Starbucks, located near MEININGER Hotel Amsterdam City West, was my favorite place to stop for coffee during my stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the service was quick, so I never had to spend much time waiting in line. The coffee was excellent, with a wide variety of flavors to choose from, so there's something for everyone. I also enjoyed the cakes and pastries, which were fresh and delicious. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that there are no customer washrooms or Wi-Fi. If you need a restroom, you'll have to use the facilities at the nearby train station, which require payment. The prices are also a bit higher compared to some other coffee shops, but the quality of the coffee makes it worthwhile. Overall, it's a great place to relax with a good cup of coffee, and I would happily visit again.

There were two employees having a discussion with a client on why the cup size is different than yesterday... We excused ourselves and explained that we are running low on time. They didn't seem to care. So we went and increased the revenue of the kiosk behind the gate on the right side. Highlig recommend, the staff is competent, friendly and fast!

We had asked for a different type of milk due to lactose intolerance, but received regular milk. The cashier did not pay attention to what we said or asked.

Opening time starts at 6h30 Now it’s 7h30 , a full one hour and the shop is still closed with no sign of opening, people have been coming and waiting and leaving during the entire hour

I had a very disappointing experience at this Starbucks branch. The store was not clean, and the overall environment did not meet the standards I expect from Starbucks. On top of that, the employee named Sandra was extremely rude and unprofessional. Her attitude toward me was disrespectful, and it made me feel unwelcome as a customer. I hope Starbucks will look into this issue and improve both the customer service and the cleanliness of this branch, as no customer should have to go through such an unpleasant experience.

I’m writing this review after visiting this Starbucks twice. During my first visit, the employee behind the counter was quite unfriendly. I asked whether the blueberry muffin was vegan, but instead of answering my question, he just looked at me without saying anything and grabbed the muffin. I also asked if the student discount applied. He nodded, I showed my student ID, and I received the discount. I was in and out of the store within a minute, but I still felt that the customer service could have been much friendlier. I decided to give the store another chance, thinking the employee may simply have been having a bad day. Unfortunately, my second visit was not any better. This time there was a different employee, but again there was no greeting, no smile, and no friendly interaction. I showed my student ID and mentioned that I was a student, but although he looked at it, he didn't apply the student discount. The only thing he said to me during the entire interaction was the total amount I had to pay. Based on these two experiences, I don't think I'll be returning to this location. Friendly customer service makes a big difference, and unfortunately that has been completely lacking on both of my visits.

Really rude staff and non flexible for kids. Went there few times was ignoring their bad service. But this morning ordered and asked to warm banana bread for a child and staff rudely replied they can’t whereas day before there other staff did it for us. Also been in Starbucks all around the world and this is the rudest and worst customer service. Will make sure not to use them again.

On the afternoon of May 10, after having my coffee in the store, I politely asked a young white male employee if there was a restroom and what the code was. The first time, he cut me off after just a couple of words and snapped “No,” and when I asked again, he repeated the same rude “No.” I really do not understand why he chose to treat a paying customer this way.

It was horrible. I ordered a coffee because I wanted to charge my phone. And all the outlets weren't working. I thought my phone was broken, and no one warned me. It was only when I asked the barista to charge it that she said, "Sorry, the outlets aren't working." It was horrible. So I went to a coffee shop next door. It was much better there.

Prices are higher, like everywhere in Amsterdam. It’s very dirty, the coffee is not tasty at all — the worst I’ve ever had. They don’t give a code for the toilet, or there isn’t one at all.

If you came by FlixBus and are looking for a place to relax, this is one of the best spots at the train station. I got the chocolate muffin, and it was soooo delicious. The only problem is that the staff do not allow you to sleep inside, even if you are just closing your eyes quietly and not bothering anyone. There is also a restroom and a market nearby, and the restroom usually costs around 1–2 euros.

I’m really disappointed with my experience at Starbucks today. I ordered a large latte with extra shots, but the taste was very weak and honestly not good at all. I went back to ask if the extra shots were added, and I was told they were—but the flavor didn’t reflect that. When I mentioned the issue, the staff didn’t seem to care much. I decided to give it another chance and ordered a medium cappuccino, but unfortunately, that one tasted just as bad—very cheap and poorly made. This is not the quality I expect, especially for the price. I hope this location pays more attention to coffee quality and customer service in the future.

This is probably one of my favorite train stations and it’s very convenient that there’s a Starbucks there if you’re craving that. Everything was fast and efficient.

The employees are really poorly trained; they haven't received any education whatsoever. The staff are really terrible, they haven't received any training. I asked for an Americano and they gave me filter coffee instead, claiming it was the same. Unbelievable!!!

The drink was alright ish. It was les tasteful then most times, but one baristas in specific was pretty rude. As I should’ve just left the moment I ordered. When I asked for a straw it was dropped on the counter with a feeling I asked something stupid. Idk if in the future I wanna go back here.

Extremely rude staff. At first he mocked us for our coffee choice, then proposed something of his own and when we refused he said “yeah, like you even know the difference” rolling eyes with every word. Very uncomfortable experience, not the best way to start your morning.

Today I was served by a guy named "Adam" who was incredibly rude. Some Starbucks sell Coca-Cola, so when I asked him about it, he responded in a condescending manner, "Can't you see, it's a Starbucks, not a Coca-Cola?" I'm not expecting them to be gentle, but at least polite. Terrible customer service.

No electricity, no phone charging, no internet, no restroom, and rude staff. Honestly, many things can be overlooked, but having power outlets with no electricity is simply ridiculous. If they don’t work, then remove them instead of leaving them there for decoration. I was about to continue my journey and came in with the hope of charging my phone, placed an order for that reason, and it was a complete disappointment. This was truly a terrible experience. Such a waste of money.

It's annoying that the staff doesn't understand a word of Dutch (or pretends not to). And this Starbucks is actually located in Amsterdam. I won't be going there again.

As usual in Starbucks, big name and bigger disappoinment. If you're waiting for the train or bus and need a restroom or charge your devices besides to getting a good coffee meanwhile. Then you'll only get the coffee. They have the plugs I guess as a way for you to enter and buy something while you wait but none of them work. And there's no bathroom either. You have to pay for the ones in the station that are closed at 8pm.

This is the best option in the train waiting area. The seating space is wide and comfortable, the service is fast, and the staff are very polite. Whenever we pass through here, we always choose to sit at this place.

I went in to buy coffee and they laughed at customers while they were choosing, which I didn't find professional. I also wanted to charge my phone, but nothing was working, so I asked a staff member and he told me, "If it's not working, that's your problem." And I thought Starbucks positions itself as a networking café where people can have coffee and get some work done, plus it's located in a train station. Anyway, I paid for the coffee and all I saw were employees talking loudly about their private lives, laughing constantly, playing around, and giving you dirty looks. I think the manager there needs to take better care of their responsibilities, fix the power outlet, and educate their employees.

The only Starbucks in the world where you can't use the electrical outlets to charge your smartphone. They say the power line is down due to the storm, but the rest of the place is working: lights, machines, speakers... everything except the outlets at the tables.

Normally a good place to eat, but was so disappointed when I got a stale lemon loaf cake, so who knows how old it was, really upsetting.

Don't go there! No restroom, no WiFi. The cappuccino was just ok. Staff were happy and busy with each other, and I'm glad for them but really loud and noisy, no respect for clients, which i get why! They really don't need any! With these prices and service and still this place is running!

We went in to charge our phones and none of the outlets were working. We asked the waiters to charge our phones so we could order a taxi, and they gave us a look like 🤷🏻. And let's not even talk about the fact that it doesn't have Wi-Fi or a bathroom.

They don t have restrooms. I m paying 7 euros for a coffee and I can t use a restroom. The only ones are in the station and you also have to pay for that 1 euro.

At 8:50 p.m., we wanted our €3.70 espresso from a cup and were given two paper cups. I politely asked twice if I could have a cup. The cashier said they were closing soon. They're open until 10 p.m. Unfortunately, the tone wasn't at all polite. But we won't be back anytime soon. :)

I see I'm not the first to complain about the lack of a bathroom!!! Haha, a Starbucks without a bathroom? I mean, a coffee shop without a bathroom? Where are we?!? It's a disgrace, let's not even talk about the service. People should complain to corporate directly so they can do something! I'm giving it 2 stars because at least it's a place you can expect, since truth be told, they're scarce!

Unfortunately, I bought a medium vanilla Frappuccino at this establishment. The price indicated on the price list was €6.75, but they charged me an additional €0.75 for the vanilla flavor. As you can see, the menu doesn't indicate the existence of this additional charge. The vanilla Frappuccino is listed at 6.75. I tried to talk to the employee, but she said the 6.75 is for the base Frappuccino and any syrup requires an additional charge, which is different from the menu. I do not recommend this establishment and I certainly wouldn't return.

We came here early because it was supposed to open early, but it opened 25 minutes late. There was no heating system inside, so we got cold. Also, how can a cafe not have a toilet?

I was standing at the checkout with my girlfriend when she placed her order. Then another cashier asked me what I wanted. I told him I was just waiting for my girlfriend, and he responded with a "Congratulations" attitude. I also have to complain that all the tables are dirty, which indicates inattentive service. It's a shame considering Starbucks is actually really good.

I walked into this Starbucks ordering a latte. I told the guy serving me I wanted more milk than coffee, and his colleague, "Desi," who's her name, who can't speak English, gave me whatever she wanted. I explained to "Desi" that I wanted more milk than coffee, and she didn't understand me. Instead of trying to understand me, the customer, she chose to come in and reluctantly make my coffee. Here's a photo of my latte with "little" coffee in it. It's very bitter and tastes like water. It's disgusting. I want to throw it away and never go back to a Starbucks. Very expensive for the service they provide.

The service from the staff was very mediocre, especially from one of the employees, whose name tag reads DESI. She's very rude and poorly trained because the coffee she serves is awful and they won't throw it in your face because they can't. Terrible service.

I asked for iced flat white with 30 degrees temperature. “We don’t have the ingredients for preparing that”. The ingredients: coffee, milk and ice. They had all of them. Additionally, the option of an iced flat white was displayed in their screens.

I actually like here. But I don't know what is the wrong, all male workers are very nice and female workers are opposite. Just one of them maybe was smiling. Jtoday, I did order a Chai tea latte but thet gave me Matcha tea latte. That's ok, maybe because of accent something but you can make it correct and ask people back their orders.

Payment with V-Pay wasn't taken at Starbucks which i was shocked about. The guy wasn't too friendly either but ok. A little surprised that mu card wasn't taken even with my pin. Sadly I had a 12 hour journey ahead of me 🤦🏽‍♀️

Never seen so many flies in one place except for a farm! They even crawl on all the unpackaged pastries! Not sure how hygienic that is.

At the sweets counter, there were flies inside the glass case. The place was packed, so the baristas were rushing to keep up with the queue. While I was waiting for my drink, I noticed a supervisor standing at the end of the counter. Arms folded across her chest like a strict schoolteacher, she was literally glaring at the baristas with contempt. Then a customer started looking around the bar for a sleeve for her cup and after few seconds the supervisor TSSKED at her before handing it over. Like, seriously? I actually laughed out loud, it was so ridiculous. The way she treated both the staff and the customers was unbelievably rude. Meanwhile… she failed to notice the flies. LOL. The baristas were managing very well under stress and coffee is super nice... but I felt so bad for them 😞

They ask everyone for their name without explaining why, it turns out they shout out the customer's name when the order is ready. My name was mixed up and written down as "Joan", which is not surprising for a foreigner. At the same time, they do not give you a receipt for the order, you are left hoping that the cashier remembers you if something goes wrong, I would not care, but my order was lying on the bar for a long time and the workers did not care why no one took the order (the cafe was not busy, there were less than 10 customers), I ordered one of the types of Tea latte (pointed to the menu), I came up and asked if this was my order, the worker said that it was for "Joan" and it was not Tea latte. - After some more waiting, I had to take the cashier away from taking orders and involve her in the process, in the end it turned out that this already cold order was mine

The manager (I suppose his name was Tibute or something) seems so angry. He shouted an employee in front of all the customers. We were going to sit and rest a while then order our drink but he cut our electricity. After we ordered our drinks, I was so tired from travelling that I fell asleep. He also said that no sleep here. (I didn't lie down I just put my head on the armchair). It's not ok. Thats why we choose starbucks because we can feel relaxed. Its not that kind of starbucks.

Huh, maybe because Sloterdijk station is a hub for various bus companies, people with suitcases sleep inside, which surprised me somewhat. Besides, the square, while green with trees and shrubs, does need to be maintained.

The place is acceptable because I find the prices a little high because an espresso costs 3.30 for a small cup.

Super sweet woman behind the counter, from memory I thought it was Anouk standing by her nameplate. Very sweet and enthusiastic and she also gave me a compliment about my name, I thought that was so cute. Only saw an hour and a half later that she had written on my cup that my name is beautiful, that really made my day!

It's very clean ! Atmosphere is brilliant as always at Starbucks ! When I have to think for a while or reconsider something, it's my favourite place to go ! I don't like chaotic loudy fast foods, oh maybe early morning ;), but what's special at Starbucks is that even when is crowded and has many customers there is a still place, just for You. Thanks! ♥️

Never saw any Starbucks place being that dirty. The pictures don't even catch how it looks like. No wifi? You know why people pay you 5-9€ for a coffee right? It's because we want to enjoy wifi, check our mails and get some stuff done. Electricity is not working. Saw other customers leaving out of these reasons. For me: the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. Like this, it's only a dirty not functional overpriced coffee shop.

I usually enjoy going to Starbucks, but this location was a real letdown. The staff seemed completely uninterested in helping us, barely acknowledging our presence. It honestly felt like we were a burden to them, just for placing an order. A bit of friendliness goes a long way, and it was missing here. It’s worth remembering: customers are the reason these jobs exist in the first place. A little courtesy and attention isn’t too much to ask. I hope management takes this seriously, because this kind of attitude makes people think twice about coming back.

The banana bread and iced latte is amazing here! Thank you to the nice employee, Adam, who let me charge my phone using his charger. I had a long way to get home and it was a very kind gesture. 10/10!

The service at Starbucks is good, the staff is polite and the service is fast. The coffee is good, the atmosphere is calm, nothing special, but quite comfortable for a quick snack or work.

Baristas really very rude. They did not want to work. With tourists do not know how to behave. Maybe that they had not ✊🏻 the night before… the italian barista is better that returns to Italy because if she can’t work in holland, maybe with the italian language is better… or even better if she changes work and goes to clean the bathroom…the same for the other barista!!! Change cafe… more below you will find other better!!!
