Coffee is great, BUT the most disturbing thing is that you get less for more. I've ordered two, same coffee's BUT one medium, and one big. Bigger one had 2 times more ice than a medium one. That's a joke and robbery. Starbucks is most expensive cafe with a great coffee but serving THIS is a pure robbery.

Staff was downright unfriendly and grumpy. When asked about the order, she pulled a face as if it was a stupid question and very difficult. It makes us feel like we are not welcome. So this is the first and also the last time we went in here.

coffee was burnt, got the wrong cake for to-go, despite clarification several times. Cake was old and stale. The staff looked overworked and overwhelmed, the service was subpar, especially as there were not enough people for a busy Saturday. Very bad experience. Cold coffee that cost 7 euros!!! If you indicate that it is cold, they look at you with a smile... like, yesssss. Been here twice now and not a good experience each time. My donut was completely dry and was really unedible. I had the Christmas drink, the stroopwafel latte, which has no stroopwafel flavor at all but just tastes like coffee. I got the donut right away, but then had to wait 20+ minutes for the stroopwafel latte. I thought I'd give it another chance so I went again yesterday. I ordered 2 small chai lattes. I immediately noticed that the staff was not customer friendly. The girl who was going to make the drinks really didn't have the pace. She was constantly chatting with her colleague and not at all concerned with the orders while 10+ people were waiting for their orders. A lady in front of me indicated that she really thought it took too long, then the drinks girl started rolling her eyes and acting irritated at her. Finally after waiting 25 minutes my drinks are ready. There were empty cups upstairs, crumbs on the floor and dirty tables. The toilet is really dirty and has mold in the corners. Toilet seat dirty and all kinds of papers on the floor. I now know for sure that I won't go here again.

Very bad once but never again. Coffee from a paper cup while you indicate that you will drink it on the spot. I find coffee from paper cups soooo disgusting so no, not again.!!! There are plenty of other occasions and then you are not just among people who are glued to their laptops....

We ordered two cream frappuccinos, two pieces of cake and two doughnuts. The frappuccinos were missing ingredents (whipped cream) and they were tasting terrible. They were basically water mixed with cacao powder and ice cubes. The cheesecake was stale. Overpriced products for terrible quality. We ended up throwing almost everything away. Never felt so scammed in my life.

I have lived in Groningen since summer and I visited Starbucks herestraat a couple of times. The place is nice and pretty but sometimes not clean. On Sunday I go in the afternoon and the only worker behind the counter was the ethnic girl with the bow. She was talking to her phone when I walked in and after a bit she asked for my order. I know in the holidays the workers get more tired but the girl was rude and made me feel uncomfortable when I asked her about my coffee. Even if I was the only customer, it took more than 5 minute to make me a latte. This is not the first time I have had negative experience with this girl but this was the last.

I ask at the cash register for the smallest size because I don't need that much. And I end up getting the middle size. In the end I threw it away because I just couldn't finish it, a real shame and therefore a waste of food. It is advisable to be very clear in Jip and Janneke toddler language.

The most terrible coffee shop with overpriced disgusting coffee. Cappuccino coffee is brewed from burnt beans, McDonald's level is even higher. Hot chocolate tastes like just hot milk with one spoon of cocoa. Homemade cocoa from Nesquik has a richer taste. The tableware is disposable, although we immediately said that we would drink in the establishment. DISGUSTING ESTABLISHMENT, I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

Again my medium coffee only half full of coffee. Earn nice and easy money by only filling half the cup. If you ask for a medium you get a small but you pay 5 euros for it.

We have been here twice before and they were always great experiences. But when we were there this weekend it was so bad that we don't want to come back. First of all, the restaurant was downright dirty, there were empty plates, cups, cups, etc. everywhere. There were a lot of crumbs, dirt, hair, etc. on the floor. The staff who served us (was standing alone when we entered) was friendly.

Lekkere koffie, wel iets prijziger. Het personeel is vriendelijk en helpt goed bij het maken van een keuze. Dit was prettig aangezien we nog geen ervaring hadden met Starbucks. Aanrader! :)

Der gute Herr hat sich ganz schön lange Zeit gelassen, was dazu geführt hat, dass mein Java Chip Frappucino schon flüssig war... aber ansonsten lecker

Honestly one of the best personal I've encountered at Starbucks. Friendly, polite and fast. While it can sometimes be busy, I usually feel like the barista's really try their best to make the customers feel at comfortable. Drinks are great, prices high (but that is a general Starbucks issue) and snacks are fresh. Generally, the atmosphere in this location feels welcoming and friendly, but mostly due to the staff as the interiors are not particular cozy. I would recommend coming here! My drink recommendation: tripple shot coconut latte with one pump of mocha. Absolutely delicious!

Met je haar in een knotje achter je macbook zitten met te dure koffie. Heb er even gezeten om te proeven en een gebakje te verorberen. maar niet heel bijzonder.

Starbucks is niet voor mij. Hoog McDonald's gehalte. Koffie in een wegwerpbeker, taartje zonder schotel en houten vorkje. Niets voor mij.

Duur. Kaas tosti wel lekker, erg veel kaas. Goede koffie. Gezellig. Lekker muziekje. Stoffig op sommige plekken. Vriendelijke medewerkers. Snel. Ze mogen alleen wel even vragen of je wel een grote koffie wilt. Veel stopcontacten. Wc poetsen is niet alleen maar een klets schoonmaakmiddel erin flikkeren…

Op zich heb ik niks tegen Starbucks, als je onthoudt dat je hier niet voor het kleine kopje koffie voor een klein prijsje moet zijn. Een Starbucks in hartje Stad hoort natuurlijk wel in Groningen, maar wat hebben ze afbreuk gedaan aan deze locatie. Het koffietentje dat een blauwe maandag daarvoor op deze plek zat had het zo ontzettend mooi gemaakt qua interieur en sfeer. Ik weet niet wie chef interieur van Starbucks was in dit geval, maar wat is het gedegradeerd! De indeling is ook nog eens super-onlogisch. Nee, erg jammer dit.

Pas op voor de onhandige drempels bij de ingang! Dat is jammer, ook de hoge drempel voor de ingang maakt het minder toegankelijk. Voor de rest een hele mooie nieuwe locatie. Personeel is vriendelijk en houdt alle tafels netjes!

Leuk om een Starbucks midden in de stad te hebben. Echter vind ik het onlogisch ingedeeld. De rijen voor het bestellen en ophalen van de bestelling staan vaak door elkaar heen. Ook is er regelmatig te weinig personeel voor de drukte. Ten slotte heb ik nu al 2 keer een verkeerd drankje gekregen omdat er waarschijnlijk ergens iets fout gegaan is. Volgende keer ga ik wel naar het station of de universiteitsbibliotheek.

Gezellige personeel Lekkere cappuccino. Muffin Bacon Ei was goed. Raspberry cheesecake was heerlijk... Maar de houten vorken doen af van de smaak, wat ik persoonlijk jammer vind. Wel iets om vaker te bezoeken.

Mooie nieuwe Starbucks aan het begin van de Herestraat. Eén keer geweest om een caramel macchiato te halen, was prima. Is mooi op tijd open voor een vroege koffie.
