Great little gastropub in a nice neighborhood. Lovely menu with fair prices. Think of cheese fondue or spareribs, Satay chicken and fries it’s all good. Give it a go and book a table online, easy does it… enjoy ☺️🙏🏼

vanavond heerlijk gegeten en gedronken. een warm oprecht welkom als je binnenkomt en heel ongedwongen. ik kende dit zaakje helemaal niet terwijl ik toch in watergraafsmeer woon en ze al 13 jaar bestaan, oepsss zoals ik al zei, heerlijk gegeten en erg leuke en goeie bediening, de kaasfondue is goddelijk!!! ik kom terug!

Very nice meal at Stoop. I don't order spare ribs very often, but I did this time because the owner assured me that the meat was very tender. He hadn't said too much. The meat tasted delicious and almost fell off the bone. Very nice, almost no sauces needed. Atmosphere in the restaurant is basic to fine. Personally, I think the quality of the food is more important and that was certainly the case here. I was with 6 friends. Everyone had something different but everyone had a delicious meal. 2 girls had cheese fondue and they were very enthusiastic.

First time here, but it won't be my last. Food was great, nice cozy atmosphere and owners were very friendly.

The food here is actually always good! A smaller restaurant, which makes the atmosphere feel very homely and cozy. They are also well informed about allergies, so that's great!

Huisgemaakte patat, cheesecake, mayonaise en een fles heerlijke chardonnay voor onder de 30 euro en dit allemaal geserveerd met passie en een glimlach! En niet te vergeten goed vullende gerechten! Het is altijd een feest om naar stoop te gaan 🥰

Nog niets gegeten..alleen telefonisch contakt gehad..uiterst vriendelijk en geduldig te woord gestaan.dit heeft mij doen besluiten om binnenkort de kaasfondue te gaan proberen.

Great, local eatery with simple classic dishes. The ingredients are of great quality and the preparation is on point: very delicious! We especially enjoyed the coquilles and home made cheese fondue. The selected wines are very good. The magic here is the no nonsense food that is greatly prepared, and the same atmosphere, thanks to the vision and attitude of the owners. Also great but not too present background music. It shows in the guests - not your typical hipster Amsterdam crowd, more locals! Very nice and will definitely come back to this (for us) hidden gem

De kaart is wat beperkt, maar de gerechten worden met zorg klaargemaakt. Het restaurant heeft een prettige informele ambiance.

Top service, good food. Almost everything is home-made, even the mayonnaise. Who would expect that from such a relatively small, local restaurant. Highly recommended!!

We kwamen hier toevallig terecht. Een huiselijke sfeer. Wij konden lekker buiten eten. De kok had goed zijn best gedaan. Het eten was heerlijk en wij vonden de prijs ook heel redelijk. We komen hier zeker een keer terug.

Eten prima, redelijk simpel maar zeker niet de 'lekkerste frietjes van Amsterdam' zoals in andere reviews, bediening correct maar wel gehaast. Rode huiswijnen allebei slecht.

We had a nice time at Stoop. The staff is really nice, the place cosy, and the fries are unbelievably good! Also the nachos are a great starter :)
