The amount of foreigners disrespecting this place is crazy. Solid snacks, if youre unfamiliar with the Dutch snackbar culture just ask him what's good or trust me and get a Berenhap lobbi voor deze plek.

A true, old-fashioned chip shop, just like it should be in the heart of Amsterdam. Fresh fries, well-cooked snacks, and generous portions. Highly recommended!

I lost my house today, officially homeless. One of the worst days of my life, haven’t eaten in hours stressed out of my mind. Needed food after a long day. Nothing could have made it worse. Expect for the fact I decided to eat at this restaurant, I wouldn’t feed what I ate to a dog. The meal made me understand how people become bulimic. Please do not eat here, go to a local tree and peel bark off a tree. I would also like to note the man working here was very nice and friendly so this review is purely off the food. I now hate my life and every human ever. I don’t know if I will ever recover.

Delicious fresh fries, the most important thing! Also, well-seasoned falafel in a tasty wrap. Friendly staff and open late, even on weekdays. You're lucky to have this chip shop in the neighborhood!

A snack bar as it was meant to be. Everything done quickly, everything by heart. Enough place to eat and not enough to linger. No whining. Normal prices. 100% a snack bar. Perfect!

I can't figure out this snack bar... I have tried quite a few times at around 11pm-12am and when I walk down the stairs the worker stares at me and I asked if it is open he shakes his head and waves me off. Google states it is open till 1am or even 3am. I was successful eating here once but he would only serve me fries that were not fresh. It is on my way home and I am usually coming home late but always sober so it's not as if I am stumbling down the stairs. A few times I head back out and have to walk by again and there is people outside eating after I was told it was closed. Not sure if its because I ask in English or what but it is unfortunate that I usually have to walk to another snackbar instead.

Nine times out of ten it closes much earlier than Google indicates. And I'm not talking about five minutes earlier, but really an hour earlier. Very irritating and the staff has little interest in turning on the fryer while cleaning up. Furthermore, it really is the most perfect snack bar to have on your street, but after having to deal with this disappointment a number of times, I am furious.

Good place where you can get tasty home-made fries for a reasonable price. You can sit there, but not a lot of space. When entering, make sure you don't bump your head 😉

What an incredibly rude man working there! Doesn't say hello when you come in, just keeps checking his phone. Fries were tasty, but tasted like oil. Not recommended. When paying, he literally pointed to the ATM without saying anything. We will never come here again.

Een goed verstopt, klein winkeltje in het midden van deze drukke straat. We hebben enorm genoten van de vers gesneden frieten hier. Als je op zoek bent naar lekkere friet, zit je hier goed. We werden geholpen door een vriendelijke man, echter was hij wel lastig te verstaan door de tv die zich achter de balie bevond. De friettent zag er schoon uit, maar gezellig is anders.

Patat is heerlijk! De service is goed, ook is men hier zeer gastvrij :)

Uitstekende patat. Zou niet weten waarom je lang in de rij zou gaan staan op de negenstraatjes en een belachelijke prijs voor een patatje terwijl deze zaak om de hoek is.

Altijd lekker eten maar gaat helaas bijna standaard eerder dicht dan aangegeven op Google. Jammer.

Hele aardige man. Prima kwaliteit eten. Typisch tentje met een wat ouder interieur, maar dat heeft ook wel weer iets.

Patat is vers en heerlijk krokant. De reguliere snacks kun je er krijgen. Prima snackbar met redelijke prijzen. De mijnheer achter de balie is altijd vriendelijk maar er werken volgens mij nog twee andere mannen die ik verder niet ken (alleen gezien bij het voorbij fietsen) Ook burgers en schotels!!

Goede snackbar. Wanneer je patat meeneemt, maak de papieren zak dan open. Zo blijft de patat lekker knapperig.

Klein en mmmmmm tja wat zal ik hier zeggen. Tis eigenlijk best lekker maar de winkel ziet er niet uit. Klein kan best maar daarom mag het wel schoon zijn. En dat ziet er niet zo uit.

Literal fast food, was done in a few minutes. Tasted like you would expect from a snackbar!

Aardig personeel. Aardige patat.

Friet is goed. Alleen werd het plastic bakje met saus opgewarmd in de magnetron. Saus was hierdoor smerig en hierdoor kunnen er schadelijke stoffen uit het plastic in het eten komen.

Top snackbar! Beter dan al die andere cowboys in de buurt... Niet duur, goed spul, vriendelijk en bijna altijd open!!!

Zwaar prima friet, geweldige tussenstop bij bus station Elandsgracht

Normaal altijd vriendelijk geholpen maar vandaag werd er moeilijk gedaan over pinnen. Bij de gratie Gods werd het apparaat aangezet en werd mij dringend verzocht in het vervolg cash te betalen. Hierop besloten de zaak te verlaten waar meneer vervolgens ook weer een probleem van maakte. Geen probleem hoor. Volgende keer gewoon een snackbar waar pinnen geen probleem is. Deze tent sla ik voortaan gewoon over.
