Vegetarians/Vegans: dont go. I don't expect much from restaurants. Everything smells like meat and fish, I'm fine with that. There is fried potatoe wedges with fried fish - sure. Waiter realized I'm vegetarian, asks me if I want just the fried potato wedges - pleasantly surprised I say "yes". When he brings the wedges back I start to eat and get a distinctly fishy flavor in my mouth. I look closer - it's the same wedge portion that previously had fish on it - he just took the big pieces of fried fish away, but some of it fell off and stuck to the wedges - and I ate it. Could not be more disappointed and disgusted. Another vegetarian colleague also left in a rage because something similar happened to her (with a previous dish) Idk if this is normal or if they were just in over their heads this evening, but I sure as hell will not return and can't recommend any vegetarians/vegans to eat here

Whenever I'm in Egmond, I definitely stop by for lunch. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, and reasonable prices.

We spent an afternoon there. Even though our glasses were still half full, they kept asking if we wanted another drink, which happened every five minutes. We ordered appetizers, which were okay. The nacho that was supposed to have melted cheese looked like it came straight from the refrigerator: thick melted cheese, and some of the chips were completely black. What a disgrace. If it had been my fault, it wouldn't have been paid, but my girlfriend paid the bill.

Very attentive and fast, young service team. The selection of food and drinks is very large, and naturally (we are in a tourist town after all) rather large, but in the general range. The Borrelgappies are hot and delicious, and enough for even a small appetite. And Heineken is... Heineken, after all. I certainly like it. And the ambiance on the beach is, of course, unbeatable, whether on the terrace or on the beach. Nautilus an Zee is definitely on my wishlist for the next visit to Egmond 👍

The ambiance and service were fine. The €25.00 burger was disgusting. You can get a delicious burger straight from the fridge at Lidl.

We had a wonderful meal. We made a reservation an hour in advance and received friendly service. The food was delicious, although I was surprised that we only got one portion of fries with two plates of food. The dessert was also delicious.

I had delicious Thai mussels yesterday, but forgot to take pictures. So, I went back today 😁. The fish and meat of the day were delicious, including salmon and sirloin steak. The service was fast and friendly. The coffee was also delicious, so it's a great location.

Compared to last year, the portions seemed a bit smaller. We had a chicken satay and a hamburger.

We had the Sabich and Duintuintje sandwiches, and the description and price had our expectations high. But we were disappointed. The sandwiches weren't fresh and were drenched in sauce. Coincidentally, we also overheard two older women complaining to the staff: everything must have been yesterday. There was also a strange atmosphere. Perhaps not their best day. You can order and pay digitally if you prefer. It's great that it can still be done the old-fashioned way. Staff remains important. There's potential. Beautiful location and friendly staff. Go there and experience it for yourself.

It seems like a cozy and atmospheric beach club, but the food quality is terrible! Definitely not worth a second visit.

The food was fine, but nothing special. The service was reasonable. We were helped and got what we asked for, but it lacked a touch of personal touch and attention. Otherwise, we enjoyed the weather and sat outside, so the atmosphere was lovely.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere

The ambiance is fabulous. You can sit with your feet in the sand and look directly out to sea. The staff is very attentive, and the drinks and food came very quickly. It was quite busy, so we sat down at a table that already had people. If you want to have lunch or dinner there, a reservation is probably advisable.

Beautiful, spacious place, right on the beach. You can eat inside, on the terraces, or right on the beach. The cocktails are good. The menu could be improved, especially at lunch.

Super nice restaurant right on the beach! The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly. The prices are a bit higher than in town, but you're paying for the location and view. The area downstairs is especially nice, where you can sit at tables on the sand and watch the sunset.

On the terrace, right on the beach. The coffee and ice cream were excellent! The typical Dutch apple pie was delicious.

What a disappointment. Birthday today, nice and early to the beach (10:30) while it is still quiet. Fancy a breakfast on the beach. Arrived with my husband and kids, we asked if 2 chairs could be added: No! This is the setting! Otherwise you would put 2 towels on the ground! That doesn't seem convenient to me, because we would like to have breakfast. Then you can sit there! That is completely in the shade and we would like to be in the sun. THEN I CAN'T HELP YOU ANY FURTHER! What a mega unfriendly woman, a waitress who does not enjoy her work in this industry should either find another job or stay home. What a bad taste she has given to what should have been a nice moment. We will never go there again. I hope that when it gets busy today she does not give more people a bad taste.

Avoid this place. Ready-made food for the highest price and very unfriendly staff.

We ate here today with a larger group. The location on the beach is great! The portions are rather small, but they were tasty. I find the prices quite high. I paid €34 for a piece of fish, a side dish, and a beer. So, the restaurant scores points for its location, but otherwise it's simply very expensive.

another cool restaurant on my map! right by the beach, you can feel the sea climate. the interior is a bit modern, but still with a sea accent! a person can relax here and eat well. the service is very nice and helpful. you didn't have to wait long for food or drinks. despite the large weekend crowd of tourists, you can always find a place. the place is clean and well-kept. pet-friendly, you can come here with your four-legged friends

Had a nice lunch at Nautilus. The farmer's omelette tasted great on the crispy bread. One of the waiters was very noisy, but was friendly and helpful. Everything was on the table very quickly.

We went here for dinner with a group of 20 people after we got married. We had a drinks arrangement, snacks and then a dinner. Everything was very well arranged. Good food and the friendly staff also came by regularly to ask if we wanted something to drink. We had a successful afternoon/evening because of this.

Great seating! Popular place. We shared our table with two German tourists which was very nice. Too bad the bittergarnituur was sold out at that time but we chose other delicious snacks together with the waitress. Loaded fries were delicious. We like to come here. Our son could also just order a "normal water ice cream" here! Plus point :).

Found a Piece of a Napkin in the Massaman Curry Rice! So disappointed! Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience with the restaurant, as I found a piece of paper napkin in the white rice of the Massaman curry. DISGUSTING! How could that happen?! I strongly suspect that the waiter didn't understand my complaint, as all he got back was a question: "Do I want to eat it anymore?" Therefore, the service gets a star deducted, even though I was otherwise satisfied with the service. What a shame. ☹️ I found the appetizer: Gamba Piri Piri, really good, in contrast to the Massaman curry incident. My companion's carpaccio also looked great, as did the burger. The fries were also great, and so was the dessert. The drinks were nice and cold, the latte macchiato was also excellent. And that dreamy view of the sea above is truly beautiful. I'm all the more disappointed with what I found in the curry. It's such a shame... it could have been a great evening. Instead, this disgusting incident ruined it for me. The only reason I gave the restaurant such a bad review is because of the piece of paper napkin in the food.

Very nice beach bar, lovely atmosphere inside with a view of the sea. Good food with enough variety. Price was not above average expensive. Table companion with vegan preference also managed well. Only there could have been a bit more fries and/or side dishes with the food. 2 people had ordered fish but only 1 portion of fries came with it. Cocktails were also very tasty.

I called this place "the window to the sea." You can sit comfortably anywhere with a view of the sea. Wonderful!

We've been here numerous times, whether for lunch or dinner, and we've always had something delicious. Drinks and food are freshly prepared. Prices are on the higher end here in the Netherlands, and especially in Egmond aan Zee, but the view is amazing and the maritime atmosphere is fantastic. We can recommend it without reservation and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Cozy beach tent. You can sit upstairs behind glass or downstairs on the beach. You can easily walk over the concrete slabs. Thought the drinks were very expensive!

Relaxation and enjoyment right by the sea The Nautilus aan Zee beach pavilion is the perfect place to end a beautiful day at the beach. The location right by the sea is fantastic, and the comfortable seating invites you to linger. We found the tables right on the sand particularly nice - here you can really sit with your feet in the beach and have the best view of the North Sea. We weren't disappointed in terms of cuisine either: there are lots of delicious dishes here. You can tell that attention is paid to quality here. The rest of the offerings on the menu also sound very tempting. The service was attentive and friendly, so we felt completely at home. If you are in Egmond aan Zee and are looking for a relaxing place right by the sea, you should definitely stop by Nautilus aan Zee. We really enjoyed it - we'd love to come back......

If you are looking for a beach restaurant with excellent food at fair prices and outstanding service, Nautilus aan Zee is the right place for you. Today I tried the apple pies as well as the burger and the asparagus ravioli and loved every dish. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. An absolute recommendation for a successful stay by the sea!

If I pay 70 euros for two people, I want to be full. Today I have to go to bed hungry, the vegetables and also the filling side dish - 1 micro-small rösti were far too few. Meat was ordered medium, but served bloody (English) and twice.

Large and beautiful beach bar with beautiful views of the beach and the sea. We had a nice lunch here on Saturday afternoon. Greeted nicely upon arrival and taken to the table. The food was tasty, especially apple strüdel with ice cream and vanilla sauce. Simply delicious! The young man who helped us was very attentive and friendly. Thank you! Definitely recommend!

Absolutely beautiful location right on the beach. When it's full, especially at dinnertime, it feels a bit crowded, but that seems to be the case everywhere in Edmond. The Nautilus also offers the usual standard dishes at the usual prices. Highly recommended for a break and a quick snack in the afternoon.
