The food is delicious I got a glass of water with it! The service is extremely friendly. This is really one of the best Indonesian restaurants in the greater Amsterdam area. Time seems to have stood still in the restaurant decorated with Indonesian ornaments. Reminds me of a typical toko from the 90s.

One of the best Toko's I have ever eaten at. And I'm spoiled with the extensive choice of Toko's in The Hague, but this is one of the tastiest ever.

Don't get a wrong impression of the food by judging the interior of this small take-out shop. The food at this place is what we Indonesians would call COMFORT FOOD! The food taste authentic Indonesian. It's great if you need an easy healthy and tasty meal that's not expensive. The rice and noodles boxes they offer for around 10€ is definitely worth the deal! You can select several veggies and meat dishes depending on the box size you select. Food is prepared every day fresh. They also serve rice table sets, where you can select a range of veggies and meat to share with your companion. They offer specials every week so you don't get bored with their menu. They use organic veggies and eco-meat which you can taste in the dishes. They have several tables in case you would like to dine in. The owners are very humble and kind. This small take-out shop is well known in the Indonesian community in Amstelveen and Amsterdam. We just love their food ❤️

Disappointed by this restaurant because I wasn't expecting anything very good, given all the reviews. I thought I'd enjoy the beef rendang, but the chicken was also very dry. Very spicy (as much as in Southeast Asia, even though we had the medium-spiced chicken...) and both dishes were very, very salty! Only the vegetable dishes were good, but not great. Maybe it was the last day before a holiday closure... it happens, too bad for us! The manager is very kind. Very low price: €7.50 for the dine-in menu.

Food is good. But unfortunately it doesn't say what's what when baking. Which means you have to ask every time what's what. Which creates waiting lines. Maybe a point of attention.

Had a delicious lunch again today for little money. Lovely little restaurant, cozy informal and perfect food. Tastes as fresh as home cooked. The rendang melts in your tongue. You can choose from pedis or moderate. Clean, friendly, affordable.

Don’t sleep on this hidden gem! The BEST Indonesian food I have ever had. (Might even be better than some of the ones I had in Bali) The owners are the kindest and sweetest old couple that makes everything from scratch. The food here taste like a warm hug from your Indonesian mom. So go and support a small local business and have the best Indo food you’ll ever find in this City.

One of the rare places where they have very good authentic Indonesian food. The Cendol is delicious! As in Indonesian you'll get a glass of water for free. The owner is very nice, works hard and takes care of his customers. You can eat in or take away. Spread the word and come 'n experience it yourself!

Sukarasa is a very good Indian (Indonesian) (takeaway) restaurant. Very good choice and the dishes all have a great taste. Price-quality ratio 10! stars. He is the son of the family of restaurant Sakasari on Damstraat in Amsterdam Unfortunately that restaurant is closed. Sukarasa has friendly service and generous portions. Highly recommended!

An exceptionally good address for authentic Indonesian food. For several years I have been treating my guests and myself to an excellent Indonesian meal from this restaurant or 'toko' takeaway. Always 100% fresh and also very competitively priced. Also a compliment to the hospitable and friendly owner.

Amazing and authentic cuisine similar to the concept of Nasi Padang where you picked your main and side dishes. The spicy beef rendang was delicious and we also had a hot bowl of Soto Ayam (chicken soup) that tasted so homemade. The owner was really kind is a humble and heart warming place to dine in!

Very varied choice of Indonesian specialties, to take away or eat on site, with either rice or noodles as a base and several meats as an accompaniment as well as several vegetables and an egg to top it all off. You can mix and match all these dishes according to your tastes and desires, in spicy or not versions. It's quick, friendly and tasty, perfect for an inexpensive lunch break.
