I really love Tjauw Min with roasted chicken from Surifood, we have been ordering from there for years

Today, I was helped in your shop by a girl with glasses who apparently has trouble communicating normally. We received our sandwiches promptly, and I politely indicated that I needed to leave and understood that the saoto soup might take a little longer. A simple message would have been enough, but instead, I was met with a rude attitude while I was still standing there with my daughter. Unnecessary, unprofessional, and completely disrespectful. I won't be returning.

The sauto soup wasn't delivered, and the owner yelled at me because he didn't answer the delivery for an hour. So your employees forgot the soup, the delivery guy didn't answer, and the owner yelled at me and hung up on me even though I just placed two orders with them. I don't think that's how it works! The employees often forget things, and then you get treated like that!

Best Surinamese sandwiches and dishes...Recommended...

It seemed like we weren't welcome when we were placing our order. We were also told while taking our order that our sandwiches wouldn't be wrapped, but that we had to do it ourselves and that they would provide bags. In the end, they hadn't wrapped the food, and we had to do it ourselves. The customer service shown below was completely lacking. He started yelling while taking our order; it was a horrible experience. Not worth repeating.

I had the Surinamese nasi with satay at Surifood in Zuidplein, and it was absolutely delicious! The nasi was flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and the satay was wonderfully tender with a delicious sauce. Portions are generous, and the quality of the food is excellent. The atmosphere is also cozy, and the service is fast and friendly. For a delicious, authentic Surinamese meal, this is the place to be. I'll definitely be back!

The food is just good. Nothing special else.

I know there's a language barrier between us and the cashier but why such a sassy sack at the first place? We feel so discriminated the way the cashier acts towards us. Food was good.

Always our favorite place to get Surinamese Chinese food. Great food and lovely atmosphere. The Ginjabiri or ginger drink from Joro was very tasty. The food is excellent. Many shops in the immediate vicinity which makes shopping very pleasant. There are plenty of parking spaces.

Had a great meal here. The shrimp kouseband sandwich was really delicious and the röti was also very tasty. The staff was neat and friendly. Will definitely come back.

The staff here is not at all customer friendly.. we were looked at as if we did not belong there and were also spoken to completely rudely while ordering. The food is fine but bland

Food was fine, not very special. The staff on the other hand… we were looked at by the male employee as if we were not allowed to be there and were not allowed to order food…. I got a big inferiority complex and found this really awful!!! The man was also very rude and looked very strange in an intimidating way.

I ordered a saoto soup, but it took at least half an hour for it to arrive. After I indicated at the counter that I have not yet received saoto. The employee said very unfriendly that it was coming. After which it took a while again. People who came after me had already finished eating. I then ordered a telo, which again took a long time and arrived chewy and lukewarm. Also I got the wrong drink. After a whole day of walking I opened the bottle and only after one sip did I discover that it was sparkling and also the wrong taste—while repeating twice which drink and food I wanted. When I indicated that I had received the wrong drink and explained it politely, the employee said he had misheard me, but nothing further was done. No apologies, no resolution, no service. He offered another drink stating that I would have to pay for it. That's it. So simply buy a new drink. Ended up paying 20 euros for a slow saoto, lukewarm to cold telo and two drinks. Far too expensive for this mediocre quality, poor service and not customer-friendly staff.

I asked for extra sambal. The entire pot of sambal is spread over our sandwiches. Pleasant!!! Laughter ladies??

Telo was very hard and tough. Staff cannot speak Dutch and are very rude and unfriendly. Yelling at each other in the kitchen, not a nice atmosphere. Also pricey.

Kade of Sranang has to open on Zuidplein, they are immediately bankrupt. Food not special, male employee behind the counter very rude and treats customers inferiorly.

I had wongton soup, very tasty, but far too little soup in the bowl, for 7 euros, more soup needs to be added

We ordered Nasi with all meat and roti with kip kurrie. The food was not up to taste, the curry just had masala in water and it was tooo salty as well. Not worth the money

Delicious for a quick bite or sandwich. The quality of the food is good. The interior, especially at the back of the store, is without atmosphere.

The food is decent, but the service is really bad! When you come in you get the feeling that you are a burden and you are treated as if they were handing out free sandwiches... they don't know how to deal with customers and are yelling at customers. The male employee standing there treats customers like they are nothing... let's be clear: no matter how good your food is, if you treat customers the way you are treating them now, they will simply stay away!!

Schimmel op de kousenband en een haar in de roti echt vies gewoon en voorheen was het goed maar nu teleurstellend helaas.

The food was very disappointing. I ordered 5 sandwiches, but the flavors were far from what I am used to from authentic Surinamese dishes. The pepper tasted like onions instead of sambal, which did not improve the taste. The atmosphere in the restaurant is comparable to a fast food restaurant.

We ordered 2 steak sandwiches (beef) The beef was spoiled . We reported this to an employee who forwarded us to the manager who did not do it. We also received no other sandwiches to compensate. It's all expensive, but service is terrible, so never again. Now go and activate the Commodities Act #surifood#

Delicious sandwiches and such caresses for the tongue.. enough choice for a reasonable price.. handy if you have children.. easy bench to watch monkeys while eating.. the shopping people, so to speak.. super nice tasty resting place for in between..

We have been coming here for years and every time the food is good and so is the service. Busy, but staff are constantly working hard. Delicious Telo, salt meat sandwich and stuffed bara with chicken curry. Definitely recommended.

Delicious Surinamese food for a reasonable price.

Today I got a chicken curry sandwich again after years. Well, what a small sandwich with no taste, salt was gone and so was curry. These people must stop "using" their business to be called Surinamese, Antillean or Turkish to make money.

What rude people here. Throwing plates on your table, no ways to talk to people. The women who work there are nice, but the men are really rude. Eating is also increasingly deteriorating. Too bad but to be expected

Nowadays you have to order and pay outside. If you then have a table and you want to order something, you have to queue outside again to order! We ate soto, but really tasteless. Water with some bean sprouts and rice. No broth. This is not how soto should taste. Tasteless and the last time I come there.

If they call this Roti chicken fillet, man, what a mess that is... Never, ever again will I get anything there. There are better roti places in Rotterdam. A little bit of mashed potatoes, under which there is some long beans, and the chicken fillet in the same curry mess as the mash. REALLY BAGGERRRRRRRRR

Just a quick lunch, sandwiches are tasty

Tijdens een dagje winkelen kregen we trek en streken we neer bij surifood. Na een tijdje wachten werden we geroepen, we waren aan de beurt om te bestellen. Eerder hadden we al gelezen dat de broodjes hier wel lekker zouden zijn, maar toch kozen we beiden voor een telo bakkeljauw. Bestel dit niet! Binnen 2 minuten stond ons eten al voor ons op tafel, dat vind ik al verdacht... Telo was taai en koud en de bakkeljauw was zoet no ka. Nooooooooit meer. Het personeel was ook niet bijzonder vriendelijk. Nee hoor, wij komen niet meer terug.

Wij hadden telo besteld, niet te vreten , heel erg slecht, de bakkeljauw was erg zoet en pluizerig, cassave leek op een niet beschrijven iets. Ik had net zo goed een kilo suiker met spons kunnen eten. In ieder geval absoluut niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Vorige keer heerlijk broodje tja chiew gegeten, deze keer had 't vlees bijna geen smaak..tip is om het langer te marineren.

Broodjes worden met de dag duurder 4.75 niet normaal

- ze halen de bord onder je neus vandaan als je niet klaar bent. Terwijl je eerst lang hebt gewacht op een plek. Niet voldoende plek op spitstijden. + lekkere eten nog steeds na jaren.

Altijd druk en dat komt door de lekkere broodjes en gerechten. Afhalen is ook mogelijk.

4,25 euro voor een broodje kipkerrie vind ik echt prijzig. Vooral als die zo klein is.

Kom je naar Rotterdam, walhalla van de Surinaamse eet tentjes. We zijn erg teleurgesteld. Stond een rij. Dan denk je ,hier is het eten lekker na 10 min wachten eindelijk aan de beurt. Het is, ''ik wil wel maar ik kan niet bij dit eet huis. Geen idee maar de liefde en passie voor het Surinaamse eten was ver te zoeken. 50 euro voor een bak Nasi een Roti , 2 Telo en een Bara.

Lekker eten, maar van een beetje meer vriendelijkheid en een glimlach zullen jullie niet dood van gaan. Als je binnen wil eten is het niet duidelijk of je aan de balie moet bestellen of dat je al mag zitten. Als je dit vraagt kijkt niemand je aan en wordt je zowat gesnauwd.

Eten is niet meer wat het was. Vroeger kreeg je aanzienlijk meer vlees nu is het strijden om je vlees te verdelen met je rijst (nasi moksi.) En nasi met sambal, serieus? Waar is de madam jeanette?

Voor broodjes kip/garnalen e.q kan je niet voorbij lopen 👍

De broodjes waren super lekker en vers gemaakt. Ook erg prettig dat het personeel met mondkapjes op je voedsel bereid, dat geeft een extra gevoel van hygiëne.

Nou als je aan het winkelen ben en je heb honger ben je hier op het goede adres lekker eten goede service en ja de sfeer maak er zelf wat van maar voor lekker eten moet je hier wezen

Qua ruimte ideaal maar eten valt mee, wordt ook niet met je meegedacht als je je telo wat zachter gebakken wilt

Heerlijke broodjes en bara alleen vind ik de bara wel duur worden 6 euro en er zit bijna geen kip meer in. Maar voor de rest is het echt wel lekker altijd als ik op zuidplein ben moet ik even een bara halen

Even tussendoor hier lekker gegeten. Wederom lekkere bami met saté gegeten. Sambal hadden ze apart op het bord bijgevoegd, kan je het zo scherp maken als je wilt.

Verkoper stond erbij alsof hij net ruzie had gemaakt met z'n vrouw. Laat twee andere klanten aan mij voorgaan, praat tegen me terwijl hij me niet aankijkt, probeert popie te doen maar slaat de plank totaal mis. Bizar dat dit kan in deze tijd. Broodje was oke, maar er zijn zoveel betere plekken voor een lekker suri broodje..

Heerlijke gerechten en broodjes. Voldoende zitplaatsen. De sfeer is kil. Vriendelijke bediening. Aanrader !

Tjaumin moxi meti, weinig Surinaamse smaak & sambal was zout (oelek). Kon ook niet anders want aan de zittende/etende klanten te zien was het gekookt naar Nederlands norm! Portie is prima! Helaas, ik als Surinaamse zal daar niet meer eten/kopen.

Ik zou hier echt niet eten ik heb haar in mijn saoto gevonden en niemand die het probleem wilde oplossen het personeel was zeer onbeschoft toen we vroeger of iemand het bord mee wilde nemen vertelde het meisje dat ze dat eerst moest overleggen. Wat valt er te overleggen ??! Ik ga dus echt geen soep met haar op lopen eten .

Met mijn dochter hier neergestreken voor een broodje. En wat voor een broodje! Ik had de pittige kip, mijn dochter een broodje cha siew. Lekker gekruid vlees op een broodje dat geroosterd is tussen grillplaten waardoor ze het uiterlijk krijgen van een panini. Bestellen bij de balie en als het klaar is wordt het keurig gebracht. Of je kunt het natuurlijk meenemen. Vlotte en vriendelijke bediening en 3.25 voor een broodje is een prima prijs. Eén minpuntje: ik moet ervoor naar Rotterdam!! Mijn voorstel: open ook een filiaal in Amsterdam alstublieft!

Ik ben hier twee keer in de afgelopen maand geweest. Het de laatste jaar al druk, maar volgens mij is het naar hun hoofd gestegen. Als je wil zitten moet je eerst in de rij staan die tot ver buiten de toko loopt...daarna twee keer was het eten matig. 3 garnalen op een garnalen broodje en een bara die vanuit de vriezer gewoon klakkeloos de magnetron in gaat en dus hard en naar rbijna rubber smaakt. Dan geef je dit aan en wordt je uitgelachen, ik was en toen wel klaar mee en wou dus niks anders, vervolgens vondt men het nog moeilijk om het geld terug te geven. Alom, kom er niet meer wegens de drukte, onpersoonlijkheid, slechte service en mattige eten.
