Surinaams-Javaans Eethuis "Paramaribo" in de Pijp en Wijkerbroek

Went for dinner today after a few hours of wandering through the halls. A young man (if I remember correctly, it was June) gave me a very friendly welcome. We had noodles with roasted chicken and a Javanese specialty. Truly delicious! And the wonderful dawet made by June. I immediately bought two extra portions. I also had a telo with salt cod. The portions are generous. As someone born in Suriname, I highly recommend the food here.

This restaurant has the best Roti!! I don't live nearby, but I go to Beverwijk especially for this! Highly recommended if you love Surinamese delicacies!

A gem, if you're in the area you have to enjoy this kitchen, top-notch business, top-notch service, and most importantly, the food is incredibly delicious.

Tonight I ordered vegetarian roti, sambal goreng tempeh, and soto ayam. Delicious!! Very tasty and nicely spicy.

We had another delicious meal here today! You can taste that the food is made with love. However, the highlight of the meal was the young man who served us. He was such a lovely person; nothing was too much trouble for him. We were greeted with a big smile, helped calmly and patiently, and he even chatted with us occasionally when he brought us something. It's definitely worth coming here to eat, and be sure to take something home with you, just like we did!

Delicious food, friendly staff 😊

Yesterday, I ordered a delicious telo at the reggae festival on Dam Square. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and it came with delicious pepper and satay sauce. Friendly staff and fast service, too. Thank you!! Enjoy!

We had Dawet and Nasi Koenig rames here. All the way from Rotterdam to Beverwijk, and this is arguably some of the best Javanese food we've had (and we're Surinamese). Unfortunately, I was too enthusiastic and hungry, so I forgot to take a picture of the food. But it definitely deserves a 9/10. Dawet was also delicious. 8.5/10

We brought food for catering! What a success! Beautifully presented and packaged, but the most important thing was the taste...we really enjoyed it. On behalf of a group of 15 people, thank you! 15 x 5 stars!!

We've been eating here for a few years now, about twice a year when we're in the area. Friendly service and tasty food.

We've been ordering/picking up food from Paramaribo's for about four years now. Never disappointed. Always delicious, and the portions are perfect for the price these days.😍

Within 10 minutes our order was served to us; a fast service even though it was quite busy. The nasi with roasted chicken was a fairly large portion and tasted delicious! The pie and the chicken curry sandwich were disappointing. The pie was soggy, but well filled and the chicken on the sandwich had little taste. We had indicated that we wanted a 'plain' chicken curry sandwich and then it was still served with pickles. We have eaten here before, but this time it was a bit disappointing. Too bad! Hopefully it will be as we are used to next time.

We visited The Bazaar in Beverwijk and had lunch at Paramaribo: Saoto soup and a Lamb curry. Delicious, tasty and spicy. We can recommend.

The tastiest roti you can buy! I take the vegetarian one with long beans, tofu, tempeh bean curd and curry potato. The roti leaves and the sauce are truly divine!

Chicken fillet is not chicken fillet!! Slippery pieces with veins, pieces of skin and fat are a shame if you want to eat delicious Surinamese food. What we took with us was roti Chicken fillet also thrown away. Bread was tasty, but the quality of the chicken fillet was hard to find!! Then don't put the chicken fillet there, but the waste remains of the chicken! Shame. Vegetables were rubber. It's not tasty food... sorry We ate on site and took away. Never again When I read reviews and people say that this chicken is tasty and they are people who always eat frikadellen!

I like their nasi berkat very much. Nasi: rice - berkat = blessing. Very tasty, the way Javanese people always cook in Java. In Java we usually get nasi berkat from our neighbors when they are celebrating fun things or feel grateful that they have received something. So they want to share with their neighbors by handing out nasi berkat in a box. Oh yes, the people behind the counter are always nice too. Hopefully there will be more space soon so that more people can come.

Bami was okay, but the accompanying salad had a putrid smell. Maybe it was expired? Very unpleasant. Small portions and cramped seating.

I like to order online via my own website and always receive a can of soft drink with my order. I like the choice between cold or hot delivery. This way you can decide when you want to eat your meal. The price-quality ratio is excellent. It is a shame that nowadays you no longer get sambal as standard with your order. You can only get this at an additional cost. I'm a returning customer so that says enough!

Heerlijk gegeten met moeder! Vriendelijk personeel.

Heerlijk! Altijd als we naar de zwarte markt gaan eten we hier of een broodje of een heerlijke maaltijd. Vandaag een bami en nasi rames en zoals altijd was het weer heerlijk! Vriendelijke bediening. Absoluut een aanrader.

Roti is ok maar de bami met kip viel erg tegen. De kip was erg droog.

Kom hier altijd met een vriend, eten is top hier! Alleen de porties zijn de laatste tijd veel kleiner.

Heeeeeel lekker eten, geweldige service, mensen daar zijn heel aardig, leuke warme plek heel leuk gedecoreerd echt een aanrader

Kom er al jaren, wat je daar ook eet alles smaakt lekker. De teloh met bakkeljauw en pindasaus is mijn absolute favoriet.

Amazing food, super nice staff!

Weer heerlijke gerechten gehaald, zoals roti lams, roti moksi meti, roti kipfilet ,nasi lams en nasi moksi meti. Dit alles om thuis bij mijn ouders, met het gezin, op te eten.

Heerlijk eten! Divers en uitgebreid. Ook erg hygiënisch. Vriendelijke en nette mensen. Je wordt netjes geholpen en te woord gestaan. Wij komen hier al heel lang en hebben zelfs het eten door Paramaribo's laten verzorgen, op onze trouwdag bijna 11 jaar geleden. Het blijft genieten! 👌🏽 Jammer dat het alleen in het weekend open is, maar zo blijft het ook speciaal 😊. Echt een aanrader!

Goed Surinaams eten. Tjauwmin heeft goed gesmaakt en de teloh met terie en bakkeljauw was ook lekker.

Lekker eten met genoeg groenten en extra’s, erg klantgericht. Goede hete peper, lekkere dawet. Heel tevreden en zeker aan te raden.

Lieve mensen, en echt heerlijke saoto. Jammer dat het alleen in het weekend open is. Saoto om mee te nemen pakken ze ook netjes is. Top !
