Had a delicious meal. Wide selection. The space around the tables is good; you don't sit on your neighbor's lap. The dessert buffet is back, great.

This is the second time I'm eating here. Both times, items that were ordered didn't arrive. You also have to ask for drinks yourself. Otherwise, the food is fine.

The food was tasty and served hot. However, we found it a pity that an order form is used, as this was not clear beforehand and works less pleasantly than ordering online. During our visit, a few things went wrong with the orders, but fortunately, there was an experienced employee who handled this excellently. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the dishes, and really did her best to ensure everything ran smoothly. There should be more employees like her. The younger staff still have a lot to learn regarding product knowledge. Despite our previous less pleasant experience in Utrecht, we experienced this branch more positively because of this.

On the drinks menu it said that some drinks are free (included in the all-you-can menu), but actually it is not included in the all-you-can-eat menu. They are being very clever with menu drinks to make money, because eventually an employee showed me on an order card what had been crossed out that all-you-can-eat food and drinks are not free🤣🤣 Completely unrepeatable, very clever for the bar to make money.

Maybe I was unlucky, but unfortunately, the current rating (4+) gives a distorted picture! The team is understaffed, and you notice it (slow with picking up orders, and we had to keep reminding them about the drinks we ordered). The food was really disappointing for a sushi restaurant. The selection was limited, the sushi was sometimes ice cold, and others were tasteless. A shame! The hot food was tasty though... but then it's not worth the money. The atmosphere and hygiene are fine, and the staff was friendly.

We ate here last night with three people. My daughter and I only ate sushi. My partner had chicken and lamb chops and other types of meat. My husband had severe stomach cramps the next day. And he has heavy diarrhea; I think the meat wasn't good. Great, he couldn't go to work. And you pay 127 euros just to get sick. They should refund the money. It cost my husband a day off work too.

Great overall experience, for the kiddos as well as adults. The desert buffet, especially the chocolate fountain, is always a highlight for the kids. The variety of dishes and freshness of ingredients is great.

Restaurant is definitely good. Using of website is convenient enough. Sushi are good, but feel like usual.

One star is for good meat. Sushi was incredibly bad; the rice tasted like nothing. Sushi was falling apart. The service was not up to standard and very expensive. The beer was wet, and in this heat, you have to put ice in your drink yourself. Mokteils was so sweet that it was hard to drink. This is the last time for us at Sushi today. Tip: training would come in handy for you, for the staff and the kitchen.

Had a very tasty meal. Although the price is steep, I will definitely come back. Beautiful interior and a dessert bar where you can also get liquid chocolate. It is on the first floor; you can take the elevator up.

Staff talk to each other or on their phones more than they help guests. They only ask for drinks once (as soon as you take a seat), and then you have to wave and walk to the cash register all evening to ask for drinks. It's the same every time.

The food is disgusting. Never eat here. The meat was undercooked and none of the food was tasty. The staff is way too young to understand things. We asked if the order went through correctly and got the response: "order again then."

It's a shame it doesn't work via tablets yet, but overall a great place and delicious sushi.

On Friday, April 10th, I had a mother-daughter day with my daughter, and she really wanted to eat sushi. We saw this restaurant advertised, so because it is near the Flint Theater, we made a reservation here. We were among the first guests in the restaurant (5 PM). We had to wait over 30 minutes for our first meal. They simply didn't check if we had put down our slip of paper. So we thought we might as well fill out the form again right away, after they had just returned it. In almost an hour, we had received something twice. I thought, if this continues, we'll have to go to McDonald's later. It got busier, and more staff arrived. As a result, the dishes arrived (fortunately) faster. The dishes were very tasty. The salmon and the pieces of beef were especially delicious. One waitress was particularly friendly. (Young girl with blonde hair). The view was of the train tracks, which I was fine with. Because you are allowed to sit here for 2.5 hours, you eventually get enough to eat. Although I do think the price is on the high side. We had 2 drinks and had to pay €99. The toilets were clean. The overall impression was just fine. I would definitely eat here again.

The concept is nice, but unfortunately, it doesn't work well in practice. The restaurant seems to be taking on too many customers while there is too little staff present. As a result, you often have to wait 15 to 20 minutes per round, while you only have 2 hours. That simply doesn't fit with an all-you-can-eat concept. It's a shame, because it certainly has potential, but the experience is not optimal this way.

If you want a stomach ache, you should eat here.

Very mediocre, food took an incredibly long time to arrive. The waitresses were not paying any attention to the guests at all. It took a lot of effort to get a drink. The food was okay, not great. TIP: Make a reservation without drinks. Saves money.

The food isn't like it used to be. The taste has deteriorated significantly, especially the cutlets.. I like going there and hope they do something to preserve the name.

We ate here on March 14th with 4 people, and unfortunately, it was a very bad and unpleasant experience. Food The food was mediocre to poor. The sushi was truly substandard. There was an extreme amount of rice surrounding the sushi, and there was little filling or flavor. It felt like the proportions were completely off. Additionally, the hot dishes all arrived at the table lukewarm to even cold. That is really not what you expect in a restaurant. Honestly, fresh sushi from Albert Heijn is better than what we were served here. Very disappointing. Staff / Service They do not yet use tablets to order here, but rather a paper card that you have to fill out. That can work fine, but there needs to be enough staff walking around. That was absolutely not the case here. We often had to wait almost 30 minutes before anyone even came to take our order. Several times I literally had to raise my hand or call staff, otherwise no one would come by at all. Moreover, the staff seemed to have little enthusiasm. They were mainly young employees who came across as very uninterested. At one point, I walked over to the counter myself to indicate that everything was taking an extremely long time. There, I even heard staff arguing amongst themselves that they had had enough. The atmosphere among the staff was truly deplorable. Atmosphere The atmosphere in the restaurant was not pleasant either. It felt more like a playground than a restaurant. Half of the dining area was closed off, and in that section, children were running around and screaming loudly. It is a shame that parents don't say anything about it, but even stranger that the staff does absolutely nothing about it either. This place is called Sushi Today. After the endlessly long wait for everything, they would be better off changing their name to “Sushi Tomorrow”. For us, in any case, this is the first and last time we have eaten here. We will not be coming back here, never again. ADDITION: 2 out of 4 people suffered from stomach flu the next day!! Read the reviews of this restaurant; this is not an uncommon problem here!

I found the food very mediocre. It was also very expensive. The lighting above all the tables is beautiful, but also very harsh on the eyes. This, plus all the stimulation from people chatting around you, makes you want to leave. This was our last time here, but it's all-you-can-eat. Because what you actually eat doesn't make up for what you pay: €100 for two meals and three soft drinks.

Went here for dinner for a birthday and it was fun, tasty and good.

Great restaurant. I've been here several times, and the quality of the food is always high, unlike other all-you-can-eat restaurants. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is great. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good quality food and excellent service!

Nice Restaurant in the lovely center of Amersfoort. Service is fast, friendly and has had a smilie throughout the whole evening. We got a good explanation of the Dinning-Model and afterwards both quality as taste and presentation where on point. Thanks for the great food and service.

55 euros per person, the food takes a long time to arrive, the waiters are rude, and they employ children. The food wasn't bad.

We initially waited 45 minutes for a drink. After 15 minutes, we were told the second drink was out. The drink was, however, on our bill. After the fourth round, we waited half an hour for the last round. After asking twice, we decided to get dessert. While we were eating dessert, we received the last round. The staff was unmotivated, and we had to wait a long time for everything.

The food is more than excellent. Plenty of young staff bring food around and collect barrels. There's an extensive self-service dessert buffet. We were given cutlery without asking. Someone else is probably waiting for their cutlery right now. Something went wrong with an order, but at AYCE, that's no problem. Eating something different than you ordered feels like a surprise. It's not cheap, and you still have to fill out an old-fashioned form, which, apart from one misdelivery, works reasonably well.

Raw, couldn't even apologize. I've eaten here often, but I've been really sick for two days now!🤮

Went for Christmas, drinks took a really long time, lots of forgotten dishes, clearing up was a drama, there was supposed to be a special Christmas buffet which wasn't there, and someone was sick from the lamb.

The food is great, fresh, and delicious. The only downside was that it took a while to arrive, and we regularly received the wrong dishes. The dessert buffet is large but wasn't completely full, and the chocolate fountain wasn't turned off.

We had food and drinks included. Soft drinks, beer, and wine. It turned out that non-alcoholic beer had to be paid for separately! I understood afterward that drinks were included. Almost nothing went smoothly, and we often had to ask for drinks. That was annoying, especially when it wasn't very busy. I would understand then. The food was delicious and freshly made (sushi).

Everything went well until the third round, after which it became a real hassle, and no food for 45 minutes. Then half of the order was brought, and even after asking, the rest didn't arrive. So, dessert was the only option and we headed home. After paying €207 for 4 people, I briefly explained what had gone wrong. With a laconic apology, we were okay. Not recommended.

Noisy. Crowded. Poor service. Food not great. Map unclear. Scanned my parking ticket for free exit from the garage but still had to pay 10 euros. Not recommended.

We found the salmon, in particular, too watery. Many of the sushi rolls were already pre-made.

Friendly staff. They offer a wide variety of dishes and food options. The service is also excellent and attentive. Our family thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely return. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious. The menu features unique and excellent dishes. You order via a card, which doesn't always work well. During our visit, we had to ask about our order once because after half an hour, no new dish or card arrived. We also had to repeatedly ask for new drinks, which isn't a problem in itself, but if you're ordering all-you-can-eat, I expect at least someone to ask if anyone would like more when their glasses are empty. My table companion also had a piece of plastic in one of his sushi pieces. I pointed this out to the staff, but all I got was a non-verbal response. That was unusual. The dessert buffet wasn't replenished (in a timely manner), and another guest had to ask if they were getting any more ice cream. Something was constantly being thrown, either a door or a tray, which was very disruptive. It was probably busy. The food is delicious, but the service isn't commensurate with the price.

What started with a smile ended in tears, stomach cramps, and vomiting. Until today, the owner didn't call back to check with the chefs. What do you want to check and get back to me? That they'll admit there was food poisoning? I was a loyal customer, but unfortunately, no more sushi for us today.

The service, atmosphere, and food were truly excellent! It's a shame you don't have a location in Limburg (yet)...

After dinner, I experienced severe gastrointestinal discomfort. The sushi was good, the menu offered plenty of variety, and the service was reasonable. The atmosphere was pleasant. Apparently, I was a bit more sensitive to it, because my partner didn't experience any symptoms, even though I had tried more dishes.

As always - top! It's our favorite place with tasty food, friendly team and cozy atmosphere. Next birthday - of course here! Thank you Sushi Today!

The food was delicious. Not much different from other sushi restaurants. It was interesting to see the staff chatting while working.

What a disappointment this was. My friends arrived a bit earlier than me. Upon arrival, I mentioned this to the woman behind the counter. Her response was that I should "just walk around looking for them!" Once at our table, no one came to take our drink orders. After more than 20 minutes, I tried to approach someone myself. But when we did, we were met with such an incredibly arrogant look! They didn't even look at us, just gave us a hand gesture! We felt so out of place. Not once did a staff member come over to take our drink orders. On the plus side: we weren't sent away after the 2.5 hours had passed. This can happen quite often at other all-you-can-eat restaurants.

The food is perfect, very good quality, atmosphere and service are also top, only it is very dark that you can hardly read the menu.

Really super fast with food and tender!

First of all, the tables and chairs were filthy beyond words. Stains and crumbs everywhere. So many staff, but a wipe over the table is too much to ask. Staff are on their phones while eating. The rock shrimp tuna tasted like it was from yesterday. Hygiene is absolutely subpar here. I won't be going back. The restaurant in Utrecht is much better and cleaner.

My daughters and I had a night out. We received a friendly welcome and our drinks were ordered fairly quickly, but it took a while for them to arrive. Afterward, I even had to ask someone for a few drinks to order something. The staff never asked if we wanted anything else, so I wouldn't recommend an AYCE + drinks. The food was deliciously fresh and varied. Even my daughter, who doesn't eat as many sushi types, had a great time. Plate collection happened quite regularly; every now and then I saw someone with a large gray container collecting the dishes. I didn't like this, and it detracted from the positive experience. Furthermore, the staff puts the food on the table without saying a word and doesn't pay much attention to the customers. I think this could be a bit more friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very noisy, especially when it gets busier, and it becomes a cacophony of sounds. You can still hear each other, but you have to speak a bit louder, which is a shame.

Even though the food tasted great, we'll never be back. Three of the five in our group suffered from nausea, stomach cramps, and diarrhea for days. Something must have gone seriously wrong in the kitchen. Furthermore, the staff was surly and served us several dishes we hadn't ordered.

Just before the movie, we decided to eat there, deliberately choosing to have drinks separately. This was probably a good thing, because except upon arrival, we were never asked if we wanted a drink. We ended up having to ask someone ourselves, which was a real shame. The sushi was downright old, disgusting, yuck. Or the sushi was extremely hot; they didn't tell us what was what, so we had to spend ages trying to figure out who was whose. I'm a huge sushi lover, but I struggled to finish the second round. We decided to give up and leave after trying dessert. It wasn't great either, but better than the rest. The ladies with the trays were lovely, but definitely not recommended. And at the end of the meal, we were charged €95 for two people with only two drinks. A real waste of money. Never again!

Had dinner with friends. We were assigned a table upon arrival. We deliberately opted for individual drinks because we wanted cocktails. The bartender making the cocktails was ill, so we could only order wine or beer. This was the first setback. We had to walk over to the server to order drinks. We asked for soy sauce with less salt, but never received it after asking twice. A round of food was skipped and never arrived. Half the evening we had empty glasses, and our plates weren't cleared promptly. Luckily, I was in good company, but the service was terrible. I mentioned this at the end of the evening when paying, and received "Okay, thanks," not even an apology.

After a previous bad experience, it was good again, perhaps because it wasn't as busy this time. The waitresses are quite young and could use some engagement instead of just bringing the food to the table without saying anything.

The food was good, but it sometimes took a while for the waiter to get our tickets, and they didn't even ask if we wanted another drink. I also found the restaurant very dark.

The food is just fine, but you should put sole on the menu, that would make it absolutely fantastic.

Terrible service. Food and drinks take ages, and orders are incomplete. The "all you can eat" concept is a nice touch, but it's practically a scam. The kitchen closes at 10 p.m. When we went to pay, we saw two women casually scrolling on their phones instead of working. The food is good, though. Book early and expect a long wait.

The food was very tasty. We ordered one drink at the beginning. Then it took a very long time before we could order anything else. Everything else was fine.

It would be nice if there were more lighting at the tables; it's hard to read the menu because it's dark. You see several people picking up their phones to illuminate the menu.

Last night we were looking forward to eating at Sushi Today again. Unfortunately, we were sometimes forgotten because we were sitting in a corner. The staff came with a washbasin to collect the plates (terrible, really!). It's very strange for your company. Outside, we saw the staff still playfully taking out the trash and laughing loudly throughout the restaurant. We reported this to the staff, but they didn't take it seriously. We probably also got food poisoning, because we were quite sick an hour and a half after eating Sushi Today, and threw up, etc.

We had something to celebrate this evening! We had truly delicious sushi, fresh and with plenty of choices. The dessert buffet was a delightful surprise :-). The atmosphere was great. We were early and the first guests, but it quickly filled up nicely. The service was friendly, though we did have to wait a bit for drinks. We had a wonderful evening!

Food was great! The only thing that was really less, was the temperature, the air conditioning just didn't work or hardly worked, which made it almost impossible to be there. Furthermore, the experience was good and we would definitely come here again in the winter

Ordered Ace & drink menu. Only when sitting at the table were we asked if we wanted something to drink, otherwise we had to walk to the staff ourselves to ask if we could drink something else. Food was put on the table so quickly that the sauce/juice that was in the bowl came on us and the entire table several times. At 8 pm there was no one on the floor anymore, so we could no longer order drinks with the desserts. At the end we were only asked if we wanted to pay by card and for a parking ticket, otherwise not if everything was to our liking or anything. Emailed to indicate this, no response. The food is tasty, but I would not recommend this location and there are plenty of nice sushi restaurants where you can order drinks (and don't get sauce on you)

Food is fine but the service.... you really have to ask if they want to take your glasses and plates with them and then you also get an arrogant look from the lady with long dark hair. 2x the menu was on the table for 15 minutes, all the staff just walked past so after 2 rounds we were done.. And of the 2 rounds I had to take the menu to someone myself once because it was not taken. Ordering drinks is also difficult because no one comes by. Next time we'll go back to Koi!

What a terrible service. We had everything in and the drinks sometimes took 20 minutes. Empty plates were not cleared. I got a tray myself and served our drinks. They didn't bat an eyelid, in fact they liked it. And it's just incredibly expensive

My favorite sushi restaurant! Good fast service and tasty food

Case of profit maximization here. Simple menu, few special features. Service is slow and unfriendly. Staff is underage and is fully focused on balancing their trays. Do not look up or around when asked. Orders received incorrectly and if you say something about it, no apologies. You have to ask again for the right dish. Glasses are simply put together on the table. You have to unpack and pour everything yourself. Empty plates are not taken - see photo. In short: A frustrating experience.

Delicious food. As always! And home by train.

Too bad the ordered food was not always correct. And also that when a new load is brought, dirty plates are not taken by the ladies.

Totally unacceptable service – left without eating! Today we went to Sushi Today in Amersfoort with high expectations, but what a disappointment! We waited over an hour for our food – and that while we politely asked several times where it was. We were told every time that it was coming, but nothing happened at all. No apologies, no clarity, nothing at all. After an hour (!) we still didn’t have a single dish on the table. We were hungry, frustrated and above all angry. In the end we left without eating. This is really not how you treat customers.

We visited the restaurant after spending the day in Amersfoort. While the food was great — the sushi and other dishes were of the expected quality — the service left room for improvement. The restaurant appeared understaffed and lacked clear organization. It would be beneficial if the staff were assigned specific tasks or designated areas to manage. We opted for the all-you-can-eat-and-drink option, but based on our experience, we wouldn’t recommend it. The staff rarely came by to ask if we wanted drinks, which took away from the experience. Introducing tablets for ordering, instead of using outdated paper forms, could streamline service and save the staff valuable time.

Ordered and picked up sushi. It was really bad. Sushi was cold, tasteless, sticky, tuna was very dark (photo 3) .. gyoza was tough with weird fried onions. Only the terriyaki sticks were still somewhat tasty. The beef truffle roll is not worth the money: incredibly thin slices of meat on the sushi that you don't taste (photo 1). Never again for us.

Went here last night 17/5/2025 for dinner the first and last time, the food was more expensive, way too long, about 30 minutes waiting, staff not customer friendly, we will never go here again, without any money, good lesson for next time, not a good word about it.

Sushi take-away, was ready when picking up. Sushi was tasty, fresh and well filled. Enough wasabi and soy sauce with it.

Just good. We've been coming there for years

The food was really bad, especially the sushi - cold, soggy and not fresh. The hot dishes were also nothing to write home about: we were happy when they arrived warm, but that was all. It's nice that all sushi is made in-house, but we thought it was a real waste of money. Afterwards I had stomach and stomach problems. Service was meh, but good - that is often the case when you have to place your order on a piece of paper.

I often pick up take-out here or eat there myself. Always very tasty! They take allergies such as gluten or egg into account very well. Everything is also freshly prepared, so a lot of adjustments are possible.
