Ordered sushi here for the first time today, and I can say it was fresh and really tasty, and the wakeme salad was crunchy fresh. The delivery was exactly as agreed. Definitely worth repeating.

Picked up a pokebowl with mini spring rolls today. What a delicious meal! Those spring rolls never made it out of the car because they were already gone (a good appetizer :p) and the pokebowl was super! Well-seasoned, large portion: top-notch! Absolutely no regrets about my choice. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back. Time to digest first ;) thanks! 🫶

We had made a reservation, but it couldn't be found, and upon entering, we discovered that the kitchen closes earlier, so we could only eat for 1 hour instead of the 2.5-hour all-you-can-eat. Also, the atmosphere was mediocre and the staff unfriendly.

Today I ordered a 40-piece sushi box from Umai Sushi via Social Deal. When I received the box, I already had a feeling based on the appearance that it wouldn't be good sushi. When I tasted it, the flavor turned out to be even worse than the presentation suggested. This is without a doubt the most tasteless sushi I have ever eaten, with the least tasty fillings and the worst presentation I have encountered so far. I don't know if less care was taken because I ordered via Social Deal, but for me, it was a huge disappointment. My idea was to try this place out via Social Deal and, if I liked it, order here more often in the future. But now I am actually glad that I didn't pay the full price. If I had paid the full price, my disappointment would have been much greater.

After about a year, I went back to eat at the restaurant. The sushi is generally good, but this time there were a few disappointing aspects. Many rolls had the same filling, with only salmon or tuna on top, which made it a bit monotonous. Furthermore, the food didn't match the pictures on the menu; for example, the seaweed was missing from one roll. The edamame was also very dry. The man who usually works the back is friendly and attentive. The service from the red-haired woman who was there that day felt a bit impersonal.

Excellent sushi! The fish is fresh, the flavors are perfect, and the delivery is on time. In short, I highly recommend ordering from here!

Ordered sushi tonight, and according to the order, free prawn crackers were added to the order, which was over €70.00 plus tip. Unfortunately, the prawn crackers weren't included! Sushi, as usual, SUPER! 👍

We always get takeout sushi from here, and it's always delicious. The restaurant's atmosphere looks nice too, but I never sit there.

I've ordered a sushi box (40 pieces) plus a poke bowl from Umai twice this year for pickup via Social Deal, and both times I was definitely not disappointed. For €25, you get a well-stocked box with mainly maki and nigiri. Of course, hosomaki, sashimi, or uramaki aren't included in the price, but I certainly don't judge Umai on that. The sushi is fresh and delicious, simply solid quality. The poke bowl pleasantly surprised me both times. For €9, you get a well-stocked box, which in our case included a lot of salmon. Considering the market value of salmon, the price/quality ratio of this poke bowl is more than reasonable. The box, combined with a poke bowl, was enough for two people. There's also an option to eat in. Personally, I found this rather unappealing. It's quite small, drafty, relatively dark, and lacks atmosphere. Of course, this is a matter of perception. I'd only go there for takeout. For in-house dining, I'd go to the nearby Japas or Sushi Today. All in all, it's a great sushi-to-go option that's also easily accessible from Amersfoort Central Station (a 10-minute walk).

Always delicious sushi and always fair prices via social deal

We've moved to Woudenberg, but whenever we're in the area, we always come here to get a box! The food is delicious, and the staff is great too!

I didn't feel comfortable, I was stared at all the time, the way of ordering was very old-fashioned with ticking off items.

Sushi all u can eat was nice, however I was missing at least 2/3 things every round.. bit disappointing. Maybe invest in an app or iPad so no items are missing.

We ordered through soical deal and it was to go . It was the worst sushi . Really low quality and done poorly . I think you need to work with better ingredients and more of well trained sushi chef . It didn't even looked nice .

Good food, not particularly good sushi but really great. Had a great meal and an unlimited sushi arrangement is great! Especially go there if you are very hungry.

Today I ate here with my husband and my 14 month old daughter. Our old sushi has unfortunately stopped. Because of all the reviews we were skeptical. But the sushi is delicious and the owner is very nice. I don't know what people expect from a sushi restaurant but the negative reviews are completely off the mark! The restaurant was quiet but I always say that you create your own atmosphere.

Less choice compared to what I am used to at a sushi restaurant. This was more of a snack bar vibe. Like cheese flamed salmon I prefer with flambéed cheese, than a slice of cheese in between. I had never seen that before. Ate okay for a reasonable price and the service was good. Nice people. The wine cooler leaked.

Fast delivery, however, the sushi is fresh, but I could have made it myself. Not very surprising and damn, what a load of cayenne pepper. Too bad, next time I'll order from the old trusted ones again.

Delicious poke bowls with large portions, good ingredients, and very affordable prices. When I came in on a Sunday fifteen minutes after closing time because I didn't know the time, I was still helped.

We didn't know it was an All you can eat. We only came for a small snack and we had to pay €52 euros for two people. The atmosphere was not nice, they played really western music which did not fit the food at all.

This takeaway-focused restaurant offers a wide variety of tasty sushi, though their grill and dessert options are somewhat limited. The prices are reasonable given the quality of the sushi. However, my children were disappointed to find that 7 out of 10 of the ice cream flavors were unavailable. Additionally, I was surprised to be charged €2 per child per year, despite the websitel stating €1.50 and being told that the website price was incorrect, while other prices matched the website.

Good sushi! They have the Inari sushi which I personally really like and isn't available in most places. We also had a good laugh about the spelling mistakes on the menu...

Tasty shusi, but the all you can eat restaurant was a disappointment. We sat there for 3 hours and ended up with 2.5 rounds where you could order 4 dishes/shusi each. By the 2nd round the eel was sold out and we were not offered an alternative. It was never communicated why it took so long or why many dishes never arrived. The desserts came from the freezer, with the profiteroles still frozen. --after owner's response: it is certainly understandable that it is busier than expected, but communicate this to the customer in a timely manner so that they know what to expect.

Had a nice meal with 5 friends, the band was on repeat and the atmosphere inside wasn't quite there, but if you're with your friends and having a good time, this doesn't matter at all. Food was superb, staff friendly and price good. We enjoyed ourselves gracefully and ate delicious food, 5 meals!

Had a great meal here! The sushi was really good and the fish tasted really fresh. It was all balanced in terms of taste, not too much garlic or herbs. It had been a while since I had eaten here and I think they also had a new menu. So more choice! It was all really delicious! In short, I will definitely come here more often.

Ordered via home delivery. Box 3 and Crispy futo combination. Delivery was very fast 20 minutes 👍. Unfortunately, the sushi was downright disappointing. The futo combination was not a combination at all, but 6 of the same slices. Plus it tasted like dishwashing liquid and I had to chew it really hard, it was so chewy. The rice is very soft but sticky. And to top it all off: there was a hair in the sushi. 😩🤮. Making sushi is a profession. And that's why I won't come back here anymore. Waste of money.

It is a tiny place mostly doing deliveries so the atmosphere is non-existent. The food was inconsistent some dishes were really tasty some were oily and unpleasant. Service was Lovely but only in dutch.

Bought 2 poke bowls via Social Deal. 1 with teppan chicken and 1 with spicy tuna. Delicious poke bowls, freshly made including portion of mini spring rolls. Only thing missing was some soy/chilli sauce.

It's a small restaurant so you need to book in advance as it was a bit busy when I came. The sushi is delicious and the dragon roll is beautiful.

Chilly, not a cozy tent, delicious food. Staff is friendly but very rushed in the service. Ordering drinks takes a very long time, waited 45 minutes for the drinks. In addition, you have to be careful when ordering ice cream because you quickly pay extra. Can't complain about the food! Highly recommended for this price.

Ended up here via Social Deal. We happened to be in the area and were looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat. The sushi tasted fantastic, quite a choice. Unfortunately there are not many hot dishes, but this is a sushi place and not a sushi & grill, so you should not assume that. Very friendly ladies at the counter, always cheerful and helpful! Unfortunately there is no atmosphere, it could be so much better with some minor adjustments. Candle/lamp on the table, music playlist that rotates, etc. Due to the heat, all the doors were open, which allowed a lot of flies to come in, which we found less pleasant. However, the biggest drawback that I think is absolutely unacceptable: the delivery person who is smoking weed at the front door that is open. This is absolutely not possible, except for the smell in the dining area! They know about this, while smoking weed, bags are handed over for delivery and people think it's all fine. In terms of food, we would come back here again, it was really good, if the restaurant had more atmosphere. But then something will really have to be done with the delivery people!

The delivery people were smoking pot outside and chilling in the restaurant and when we first arrived the whole place smelled of weed. A lot of food was also (too) frozen or did not seem so fresh anymore. salmon was very tasty and so was the fruit. for the price the sushi is fine, but the entire restaurant experience is not.

It's a nice restaurant, not too busy when we were there (via social deals). They still work with a menu where you order 4/5 dishes per person at a time. You have 5 rounds and that was enough. At first we thought we needed more, but in the end it was fine!

Ordered sushi via social deal. We had a delicious meal at home. The restaurant itself is an atmospheric square booth that smells like you're walking into a fish shop. I ordered before 4 p.m., but when I came to pick it up, most of my order still had to be made.

Really very good quality food. Staff is super friendly and works quickly. Unfortunately the atmosphere is not very nice. No music or poor choice of music. As if you were sitting in the waiting room at the dentist. Delivery drivers sit in the restaurant itself and do not have their own break room. I recommend picking up/delivery here because the food is above expectations.

We waren een beetje sceptisch vanwege de vele slechte recensies maar dat viel alles mee. De ruimte is niet zo overdreven ingericht maar er is toch met beperkte middelen iets gezelligs van gemaakt. Ruime plaatsen, veel licht, prima. De bediening was vriendelijk, snel, behulpzaam. Stokjes met elastiek werden bijvoorbeeld direct gebracht. En de gerechtjes werden gelukkig niet heel erg snel maar met aangename tussenpozen gebracht. We hebben maar drie rondes gehad want echt ruime porties. We hadden nog een uur kunnen blijven bestellen maar het was lekker en genoeg. Enige minpuntje: niet erg veel keuze in de warme gerechtjes. Geen rund of eend of lam, alleen kip en garnalen. Maar de prijs was dan ook navenant laag.

Lekkere sushi voor tussendoor of als je geen zin heb om te koken 😀 Snel maar weer doen!

Het personeel is super vriendelijk, aardig en heel beleefd. Het eten zelf is ook echt geweldig. De sushi is vers en waarlijk lekker en als je gefrituurd eten bestelt dan is het nog warm omdat het de vorige minuut nog gemaakt is. De eerste indrukken van het restaurant zijn wel (in mijn mening) een beetje misleidend omdat het eten echt top kwaliteit is ook al ziet het restaurant er niet al te best uit. Het restaurant is de belichaming van “don’t judge a book by its cover”

Goede vriendelijke bediening en heerlijk eten. Sfeer in het restaurant kan iets gezelliger qua inrichting.

Uitstekend restaurant voor sushi en wokgerechten. All-you-can-eat voor een vaste prijs. Je kunt ook laten bezorgen. Het eten wordt hier vers bereid, duurt iedere ronde iets langer dan elders, maar alles was vers en perfect op smaak. Dikke aanrader!

Gisteren wezen eten samen met mijn vriendin. Het eten was echt ontzettend lekker. Alles wordt vers bereid en is heerlijk van smaak. Het personeel is heel erg vriendelijk en beleefd. Qua sfeer is het prima, een sfeerlampje zou wonderen doen. Als je hier 21,95 betaald ben je spekkoper. Ik ben bij bijna alle sushitoko’s in het oosten van het land geweest maar deze staat absoluut in de top. Prijs kwaliteit is hier super. Zeker een aanrader!!!

+ Eten was erg lekker + Bij binnen komst mochten we een tafel uit zoeken. - Daar bleef het bij geen uitleg niks. - Geen eet gerei op tafel. - Bediening had er niet veel zin in. - Er stond op elke tafel een menukaart maar helaas was die voor afhaal, daar stond dus meer op dan wat er binnen te eten was. - Op de bestel lijst staat Cola, Fanta enz. €2,80 maar bij thuis komst zagen we dat er €2,95 afgerekend word. Dus er is nog genoeg te verbeteren.
